1641  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Dedicating my Life to Bitcoin and Looking to Help Different Projects on: July 09, 2019, 10:29:13 AM
For the OP it would really help if you have a online profile of some sort where enployers or business startups can see what you could offer to them, maybe creating a Linkedin profile can serve as your online resume for them. The problem here is even though you are offering your services for free you haven't graduated in any college program so startups might not be even interested in what you are offering. So maybe enrolling in a 2 yr vocational course will help your career to pan out.
1642  Local / Pilipinas / Re: A Woman Travels to 7 Different Countries in 12-Week.Gamit lamang ang Crypto on: July 08, 2019, 07:34:16 PM
Possible na talaga ito. As long as yung bansa at lugar na mapupuntahan mo may crypto atms, localbitcoins, and local wallet providers di ka na gagamit ng credit card sa iyong pag gastos. Yung problema lang dito is if strict yung bansa may mga KYC pa na kailangan i-accomplish para lang magamit yung mga service na ito. But if the country has a lot of establishments that accept crypto directly then you don't have any problem at all. Payo lang sa mga nagbabalak na mag tour sa ibang bansa ng cashless and crypto lang gamit matinding pag plaplano kailangan mo gawin para di ka mabitin sa trip mo.
1643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Likely to Hit $100,000 by End of 2021 Says Anthony Pompliano on: July 08, 2019, 06:57:13 PM
I have read his article and all I can see is that its more of a pump-up speech/article to motivate his current investors and attract potential ones to Morgan Creek Digital. He really didn't dive in too much on why he has predicted that Bitcoin will go up to 100,000$ by 2021 with how the article was made he had set up a lot of warnings on how his prediction isn't 100$ accurate which he can use later after his price prediction fails in the future. So I wouldn't be surprised if one day he will just say that "like I said before I am not 100% sure it will go up" or something similar to that. For newbies reading this it's never right to based your trades to predictions of someone who is popular as they are never 100% guaranteed to happen.
1644  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: "we wont let crypto become the next numbered anonymous swiss bank account" on: July 08, 2019, 02:51:55 PM
Let's dissect the news bit by bit before we classify this as an inevitable thing to happen in the crypto industry. This statement is quoted from FATF which is an international government organization that houses the G7 (Group of Seven) and the countries that are a part of it are Canada, France, Japan, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, and USA. You know what the majority of them have in common? All of them except for U.K. is a bitcoin/crypto friendly country so they outnumber them 6 to 1 make it 4 to 2 if you include USA in their side. I don't think those 6/4 countries will let this other countries bully then whe  obviously their crypto industry works well with their system.
1645  Economy / Economics / Re: Northeast Asian messenger apps doing blockchain business on: July 08, 2019, 11:44:47 AM
You forgetting about Wechat's Wepay payment system which is already popular in China and is accepted even by street vendors. As early as August 2018 their have been rumors that Wechat itself is interested in integrating blockchain tech to their payment system for them to have a more reliable and fast transactions for their customers. The thing I see here is China might be like Korea where their smartphone companies will integrate a crypto wallet also within their phones, so we could have the possibility of various companied teaming up for a new and improved payment system.
1646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: icoinpro scam or a MLM to avoid? on: July 08, 2019, 08:40:11 AM
Definitely MLM if not a scam. The problem here is MLM companies are “legal” as long as their commission based distribution offers a “product” which in this case is trading lessons. So if you have proven that the company isn't really offering any lessons then you are right to say that  their service is a scam. I think its also funny how this company works though, if there lessons really help their clients to earn money then they won't be offering any kind of commission/reward for recruiting other people. LOL!!!
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 07, 2019, 08:15:09 PM
So Griezmann and Barcellona had an illegal deal during last season, interesting.

AFAIK you can talk with a player under another team contract if that team you will not allow to do so.

Whether or not that deal was illegal Griezmann is bound to leave Atletico Madrid due to the series of events that happened. He already told the team that he won't be training with them. Now Griezmann on going to Barca I doubt that it will happen not until Barcelona has matchec his 120 million euro release clause which I think is a pretty steep price for Barca based on how they value him, so its still up to Atletico Madrid if they want to sell the player at a lower price.
1648  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism - No ban? on: July 07, 2019, 07:05:32 PM
Looking at his post history I could only say two things, one is he forgot to put in the news article's link as all of his posts from the press board have links in it and two is that he might be one of those guys promoting one particular news website which in this case is cointelegraph because all of his news being shared in the forum came only in cointelegraph. I wouldn't say that he didn't commit plagiarism but coming from a guy who has been known for sharing news from one news website and has also been putting the image thumbnails for that news with the watermark "cointelegraph" on it shows that he is not purposely doing any plagiarism.
1649  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-06]Iranian Official Says US Congress is Working to Block Iran’s Crypto on: July 07, 2019, 06:15:58 PM
So have Iran changed their views to cryptocurrencies especially when they recently are "concerned" with cryptocurrencies taking up too much power from their mining operations? The way I see it is its more like a political move rather then a diplomatic move done by Iran. Nevertheless this still sounds good overall for their crypto industry in terms of looking at the big picture especially when they are planning on how will they make things work for the industry.
1650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fishing out scam projects PART 1 on: July 07, 2019, 05:34:33 PM
~snip~

If they claim they have signed partnerships with reputable companies (scam projects usually do) I would ask for proof what kind of business they conducted with those companies and where can we read more about that. If they can't provide any proof it's clear that they are lying.

Yeah, I have to agree with the rest of what you have said, especially on what you said about this one ^. With my experience of busting scams and what I see in the scam accusation board most suspected scam projects are given a choice to prove their legitimacy by just showing any proofs that support their claim at the same time discredit our accusation. If they provided one then you know you made your own mistake but if they gave you alibis like "privacy is important", "let's not concentrate on this useless matter", or some form of evasion then you know instantly that they are indeed a scam project.
1651  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Exchange Looking for partner-investor on: July 06, 2019, 07:46:55 PM
For all those curious that want to know what is the name of the exchange here it is, it's actually a centralized exchange but I don't think I can trust this exchange as there is no information on who are the people running this exchange

https://bitcort.world/

A crypto exchanges running and hosted under namecheap.com? If that is really the crypto exchange OP is talking about then it's already alarming the Scam alarm on my head. How could an exchange be running smoothly under a cheap and unreliable hosting service? Op might just be probably looking for investors to scam them on his wannabe exchange that is why their main mode of communication is through tg only, I even doubt that there is really active trades going on in their exchange.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 06, 2019, 06:15:27 PM
Kawhi does not want to build a super team, that's why he the choose clippers over the Lakers, and that made the west very exciting to watch.
In the east, not much of an excitement since Durant is not gonna play in the next season and Irving is not a type of player can could be considered a elite superstar who can carry a team to win, judging by the way he played with the Celtics being him as the main man.

Does not want to build a super team yet he convinced Paul George to be with him in the Clippers? I don't want to discredit what you said but him being with Paul George, Patrick Beverly, Lou Williams, and Jaymychal Green, and Montrezl Harrell already sounds like a better team compared to what he had with the Raptors. If that team doesn't sound too attractive to you then just wait for another season or even as early as the next trade deadline for you to see the Clippers try to recruit another star.
1653  Local / Pamilihan / Re: COMPANIES AND BITCOIN on: July 04, 2019, 08:48:17 PM

Sa tingin ko yung gumawa ng infographic is nagaassume na gagamitin ang Bitcoin for transactions and at the same time payment sa lahat ng commodities.  Sadly hindi naman kasi talaga ganun ang sitwasyon, that is why I agree with you.  Misleading or may kulang  yung information tungkol sa BTC.  Sa totoo lang heto ang talagang scenario..

Though kung gagamitin ang Coins.ph eh napakalaki ng charges but kung gagamitin naman ang trading platform like Bittrex or Binance, siguradong dadaan pa rin sa banko yan at may mga charges din.
Lol, agree ako dyan sa revised infographic mo Kuya serjent05. Not until maging main mode of payment ang Bitcoin sa milliong milliong halaga di natin masasabing accurate yung representation sa BTC transactions sa unang picture. Still parang parehas lang sila ng pinagdadaanan ng Paypal hanggang ngayon, kung tutuusin nga parang mas madami pa chance na may mag accept ng Paypal payment sa Pilipinas compared to BTC payments.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 04, 2019, 07:25:21 PM
Honestly I see A.C. Milan's ban from any European competition a blessing in disguise. As a Milan fan myself I don't think the Milan team we have now is a perfect fit to compete even in the Europa League. With a considerably new squad and especially new coach I don't think they'll be winning and sweeping their bracket anytime soon. I could say that with over the next three transfer windows and this season Milan might be prepared to face the toughest teams in Europe.
1655  Economy / Reputation / Re: Supporting of shitposting by merit source is it trustworthy? on: July 04, 2019, 05:41:32 PM
If I'm a merit source I wouldn't mind giving away 1 to 4 merits to the post that I at least agree with. Even if the post you have given example have some bad words in it I still think it's worth 1 to 4 merits for the merit source, it's really nothing unusual. Also that's really nothing compared to one-liners receiving 20-50 merits for each worthless post they have, the amount of merits sent to these kinds of post simply doesn't justify it.
1656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connecting PayPal? on: July 04, 2019, 03:38:07 PM
What's the sense of connecting your Bitcoin to another payment system when a lot if people are already using BTC to Paypal or vice versa as a mode of exchange and payment. Surely if Paypal did some kind of BTC conversion or in-app exchange on their own their own the rates would be on their side and I'm sure Paypal users would still opt out on buying to 3rd party sellers at the end.
1657  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-02] CloudFlare Outage Takes Down Coinbase, CoinMarketCap on: July 04, 2019, 12:06:20 PM
Shouldn't companies like Cloudfare under content delivery and security service be liable on all kinds of losses incurred brought by their service's downtime? I think it just makes sense to do so especially for the ones with crypto exchanges running on their platform or for any kind of websites using their services. If they are liable trust me server downtimes won't happen as much often as we see now, they'll just be scared of the expenses they will incure because of that.
1658  Local / Pamilihan / Re: COMPANIES AND BITCOIN on: July 03, 2019, 07:39:59 PM
Medyo hindi naman tama ang representation sa dalawang examples most likely parang nasa first infographic din ang Bitcoin transactions. Kung ang sinasabi nilang disadvantage for bank transactions ay dumadaan pa nga sa banks and then exchange rates ganun din naman ang BTC transactions dumadaan din sa mga wallet natin katulad sa electronic transactions ng banks. If we are talking about large sums of BTC siguradong ico-convert din nila to to fiat for it to have more use in that country.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 03, 2019, 06:20:05 PM
Looks like Marco Giampaolo and A.C. Milan has done their 2nd deal for the season and that is signing the Left Back Theo Hernandez from Real Madrid for 20 Million Euros. Definitely one of the players needed to improve the defensive end for A.C. Milan especially when the league is getting tougher and tougher. Other targets for Milan is Ceballos and Veretout and they still have a lot of time in the transfer window to get things done for them.
1660  Other / Meta / Re: What is off topic? And is it spam to say congratulations/thank you? on: July 03, 2019, 02:49:42 PM
You must ask yourself if asking for the background music of their posted video will be on topic about anything on mining or even has any relation to what they are currently talking about in the thread. Because your post even if it is asking about what music their video is, it doesn't let you be part of the current conversation, you are like throwing a random question from a rather serious topic. You must relate yourself with the topic especially on the questions he  left lying around for other members to answer for you to be on topic.
