2541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]☀️☀️☀️ VITA ☀️☀️☀️ Bringing the Smart Mortgage to the world on: August 31, 2019, 10:26:15 PM
In what country are you going to kick off your platform? Have you done preliminary testing of your app? I think if your app will be successful in your chosen country, it would be easier to expand your operations later on.
2542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next year will determine the fate of altcoins on: August 30, 2019, 08:59:42 PM
Nobody ever knows with crypto these days or what could happen in the next few years but for now market is shady and performance in both trading and investment have kinda slow down a bit but with all the mainnet and others, there might be use cases in the next couple years and that might trigger upward trend atleast

How did you assess that the crypto market now is shady? The fate of altcoins in the next coming years is really not clear. But definitely, most of them will disappear/abandon/die down/delisted from exchanges and much more. Because a lot of them are crap ones with no reason to exist. Only those with strong foundation and real use case in the market will survive and I guess those are only very few. Though there are several coins with use case but if they will not get strong support from the community, they might die down also. Because if there are no active users, their business is basically dead.

But I don't think, next year will determine the fate of altcoins. I think, as early as now, you will know the possible fate of most altcoins, look for their foundation. If they are empty, more than likely, they will not exist by the next coming months or years.
2543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YouHodler - one-stop shop for HODLER on: August 30, 2019, 07:21:35 PM
How long the business is running and in what country your company based? Do you plan any marketing campaign?

We were launched in November 2018. Development started a year before. We are incorporated under the Companies Law on the Republic of Cyprus. We have a lot of marketing campaigns now. More info about us you can find here: https://www.youhodler.com/company

Since you are already in operational, why not disclose your team members for this project? It might add more credibility on your platform. And where is the bulk of your customers located?
2544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creator and Developer Gone on: August 29, 2019, 08:47:16 PM
There are so many cryptocurrencies in the market.

If one day the creators and developers of any of these currencies die or bancrupt, what will happen to the currencies? What will happen to the coins we have? Are the coins we have still worth anything?
This basically means the completion of the project. Although sometimes there were cases that the project pulled the community, but such cases are extremely rare.
There is a team behind any project. And if a team believes in its project and idea, it will live and develop. But this is often a signal about a scam project and the goal is to disguise the  of collecting more money and go.

We can't deny the fact that high number of projects are created just to rip money from unknowingly investors. However, they keep on trying and trying because there are people that still shell out money to these projects hoping that they will get large profit. But very few projects can really demonstrate and cater their objectives. Only those with real use case in the market are deemed to survive. Everyone else, are just for quick buck for the developers.
2545  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2dice.io - new design - new impressions! Play for free, test your luck on: August 28, 2019, 08:10:17 PM
Can we see other parts of the site other than the sign in/sign up button? I know there is chat & history already, but where are the FAQ section, the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and others? There are several dice sites already so you need to keep up with them and provide something different to the community to get your audience.
2546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are banks scared of crypto on: August 27, 2019, 11:19:05 PM
Their operations involve the third party while Bitcoin is Peer to Peer. You can be traced to your doorstep while Crypto shielded you and make you to remain anonymous even if the ledger is available publicly.  With no central authority, no central power, no central control to send digital currency to and fro, they are indeed scared about the origination of digital currency. If you want to convert anything to fiat, do not just put any remark that related to crypto, the transaction will be banned, so indeed banks are really scared of crypto.

Your explanation seems valid. This is one of the reasons why even government is not also convince in crypto as they can't fully control what's going on. And with the transaction speed of crypto, banks will be left behind. And with the added anonymity feature makes it more beneficial to most users, which is being against the KYC norm in banks.
2547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Still looking For New Coins When Bitcoin Dominance Hit 90% on: August 27, 2019, 10:28:33 PM
Dominance of Bitcoin is 70%, altcoins has almost 30%. If Bitcoin pump to 20K from now, pump is only 2*. Altcoin pump is always good and investor need profits

Most of the time, altcoins are for short-time investments. You need to jump onboard on time and leave the train as soon as possible. If not, you will be trapped and be a holder of worthless coins. Many people want assurance, so they opt to bitcoin investments. No matter what happens, bitcoin will survive because of the massive adoption it has as compared to other known altcoins.
2548  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCDice.io - New dice site, fast rolls, instant withdrawals, invest on: August 26, 2019, 08:01:25 PM

maybe the dev should put a faucet tab so no need to chat them to test their features. also i noticed their minimum withdrawal is 0.01, maybe lower the value of the min withdrawal, lets say 0.001BTC. so for those who has small amount on their account, they can still get their coins.
and since you are using bit, please also add its corresponding value in satoshis under your faq section. not all crypto users are aware of that conversion and might create confusion.
the site stats tab also is not yet available atm

Also, they mentioned that they will be holding their sig campaign for this project. So if they decide to pay their participants via BTCDice account, they can't withdraw their payments if the minimum withdrawal is 0.01btc. Not all people will be willing to play and spend all their payment on the site but if it will be paid directly to their respective btc wallets, then no problem with that. But still, 0.01btc minimum withdrawal for a dice site is bit high in my opinion.
2549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: August 25, 2019, 10:45:23 PM
The incompetence of the developers of course also has an impact, but it was the scammers who tried to earn money in this way that created a more bad reputation of the ICO. And this opinion is shared by all, judging by the comments above. So when the scammers disappear, then the ICO may again be able to regain its reputation.

It is very hard to eliminate those scammers. Greediness is human nature so with the number of people around the globe, you will not run out of these scammers. They will try and try until they can still deceive users and get something from them. They don't care if that is your hard-earned money or your life's savings. Because they really don't care at all. So long they can rip from naive users, they will not stop. Only a user can stop his loss by not investing in suspicious and fraudulent projects. Since it is too difficult to identify potential scam projects, I would say, better keep your money within your pockets and move on to a more tangible investment.
2550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do people lose confidence with ethereum? on: August 25, 2019, 10:05:24 PM
why are people busy with ethereum? whether their trust has been lost. Isn't the rise and fall of coin prices on the market common? yes ... considering the market is bearish does not mean that ethereum prices will die and that does not mean that bitcoin will dominate the market forever.

come on stay enthusiastic, Let time answer. don't listen to FUD, if you are an old investor I'm sure you won't stop here. reconsider before you make a brief decision ... because ethereum is a high-potential altcoin, I'm sure they will soon rise from this difficult time.

I think many are losing confidence in most alts, not just ETH. To me, it's primarily due to the market situation, where almost all alts are suffering. But the scalability issue with ETH is a bit of a concern (we'll see if 2.0 can fix it).

So I won't say be enthusiastic, but it's not all doom and gloom either.

I do agree with that. I don't think people are really losing confidence with ethereum platform. Most of the projects are still using eth and once they establish their own, they migrate from eth to their own. But it doesn't mean that they lost confidence in that way. Why would they use eth in the first place? Those who are sincere and legit are the ones migrating to their own because they have the capability to proceed with their developments. But all in all, eth is so much alive, their team is doing their job to advance their platform.
2551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Congress Requests Moratorium on Facebook’s Libra Stablecoin on: August 25, 2019, 09:23:50 PM
It has been already discussed multiple times and I do not believe that Facebook will just shut down all the development. At the end, after several months of negotiations, SEC will approve Libra without any problems, they are just playing with each other.

Playing cat and mouse and at the end they will settle their differences. Libra development team will not surrender easy from this bottleneck. They know it is only a matter of time and they will win this situation.

It didn't ask for "stop", it asked for it to be postponed so that they could research and analyze it a lot more so that they could give it a greenlight.

You have to understand in case of stuff like this its always easier to stop them from creating it and figuring out if there is any problems and then allowing them to exist afterwards instead of letting them create and then try to stop it when you figure something out while its on its existence, it would be a lot of hard work to stop something that is already in the hands of millions of peoples versus stopping it just before its launched.

So, congress is basically saying "before you do anything, let us take a look at it and see if we will find any problems, if there is none then you can launch it" right now.

They are just buying time to take a better look on the project and maybe they will find ways on how to charge the users upon implementation.
2552  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: August 25, 2019, 07:14:20 AM
Crypto is not only good for Africa, it is also good for other underdeveloped countries in general.
Because Bitcoin and some other alts are naturally deflationary, so investing and trading in such coins will easily bring huge profits.
The GDP of poor countries will improve and blockchain technology will also be used more widely.

Aside from that, using bitcoin as payment method on shops or other merchants will be a convenient option for most consumers. So we are not talking only in Africa but across the globe. In this regard, a lot of savings will be derived from this method because of the fast transaction that we are experiencing from this usage, anywhere and anytime you want to utlilize this payment option.
2553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO] - MATRIX-COIN - Hybrid X11 blockchain - VINDAX on: August 24, 2019, 10:55:57 PM
Thanks everyone for trust. All those who has given me bad comments on my profile i think Bitcointalk owner should take an action.

We trust your project. Thanks for clarify it's not bad rating on your profile you should contact them to remove because there is no ping message that people can check again their replies. But the project is potential while the blockchain is amazing.

Totally agree with you man. Here is the prove. https://icobench.com/ico/matrix-coin

We did it like a week ago since the people start questioning about our project.

Smart move. Now, since you already show that you have a legit project, it is time to prove that you will have a working platform. If you can show that you can deliver your objectives ahead of time, I believe that those who are hesitant with your project will change their outlook.
2554  Economy / Gambling / Re: Powerball, Mega Millions at MatchBillion.com - Millions in Jackpot + 2 BTC on: August 24, 2019, 10:34:10 PM
Match Billion developer has been very inactive, last active day is in June. Any progress to bring Match Billion token (MBL) to exchanges. I have a few MBL tokens, so still wait for exchange(s). I hope that the site has still been developed well under the scene, and there are good progress on exchange listing for MBL token.
This is what I had observed too and as expected this one didn't gain too much interest and it might be the reason why they didn't become active on giving out updates.About their MBL token listing its better not to hope too much for this project.
Well, so far of what i have researched i found their campaign and it seems that the development team are still raising their funds for the project that's why there is a delay. Just wait and hope that they will show the result soon.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5122209.3480
Also have some MBL tokens either but to be honest. It will be hard or take awhile before the team could raise the fund they needed because they don't add the game which most crypto gamblers love to play to their platform and I will advise the team to do that in other achieve the require result.
Lottery isn't really a popular game here on crypto where we have seen lots of them in the past and until now. There are gambling site owners do still keep on striving to make one in spite of its low demand that's why I'm aint surprised that they didn't able to succeed due for that reason even dice sites that do go with the process of crowdfunding didn't able to succeed specially having those who have integrated their own token unlike on privately funded gambling site.

I have MBL tokens also sitting in my MEW as I participated their sig campaign before. As a bonus token, I haven't used those to place bets in their lottery. I am waiting if they will be listed in at least one exchange. But if not, it's all ok. We cannot push them to be listed if they have no resources to proceed their services, right?
2555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now I want to buy some kind of alternate coins. What kind of coins can I buy? on: August 24, 2019, 09:47:41 PM
Bitcoin is the safest one for a newbie but if its a must for you to invest in altcoins then you should buy coins on top20 CMC list but there are few good ones that havent made it to top 20 yet,to find them you will need to learn how to do better research

But he still needs to read about those coins in the top20 from cmc. Check for their recent developments and their roadmap. Are there still plans in the pipeline? He should feel what the market is telling him and not rely on various pieces of advice here. He should research it for himself and check their corresponding charts and background. But if you want to play safe, bitcoin is really the go to of most newbies in crypto.
2556  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀ROCKETPOT.io | NEW BTC Crash Game | Win the Jackpots! | Launch Thread on: August 23, 2019, 11:52:49 PM
You can also add faucet for those who want to try your site. Since there are a lot of online casinos that offer crash game, it would be hard at first to get your players. So if you can give them few satoshis to play and be satisfied with their experience, they might be convinced in depositing more satoshis and play your crash game.
2557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 23, 2019, 10:52:40 PM
They are newbies or amateurs so what do you expect? I had a friend who sent someone his private keys lucky enough there wasn't any good coin there, so I had to take time to teach him all the things he needs to learn. So instead of seeing them as those who doesn't know anything let's teach them so they can be better.

Usually, a hard lesson will make newbies totally learn from their mistakes. But we can't deny the fact that we also came from being a noob in this space, right? That is the reason why there is a beginners section in this forum. If you are a new one, give yourself time to read some of the basics of crypto, at least you are not dumb enough when someone asks you regarding crypto. And as time goes by, you will learn more about cryptocurrencies.
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] ETERNODE MULTI CHAIN DIGITAL ASSET MARKETPLACE on: August 23, 2019, 09:51:24 PM
Thank you fr bringing this to our attention. Just like most of the things in our project, our Whitepaper documentation was outsourced. We were not aware it was this heavily plagiarized. The core drive of the Eternode project which includes Staking, MultiChain platform and Digital assets exchange still remains valid. As I speak, we are already drafting a new Whitepaper under a more scrutinized process that will highlight the core objectives of the Eternode project. Thank you for your diligence.

Plagiarizing whitepaper in this community is really an old news already. Even if you started with a plagiarized one, you can still prove that you have substance if you can develop your project into something useful to the crypto community. But if this project will be a short-lived one and abandoned after selling what the dev's has on their hands, then, you just prove that very few projects can really be trusted in this space of crypto.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 23, 2019, 07:37:43 AM
Many exchanges are better than binance, for example like bitforex, bittrex, kucoin, and many others, you can see exchanges that have a rating on the coinmarketcap site, because exchanges that have been registered on the site I feel are very safe to use, and here I am not discuss about hacker attacks and scandals that have occurred in the binary exchange.

There are several exchanges that you can really put in a category that are better than in binance. Like for instance, if you have a coin to trade with and that coin is not listed in BNB, what will you do? Obviously, you will use the exchange where it is currently listed, right? So where is the BNB in that picture? BNB can't cater all the needs of crypto users, they have limitations also. And I guess, not all users are comfortable using their exchange.
2560  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrencies are not harmful for economy on: August 22, 2019, 10:28:37 PM

Heavy regulation/KYC is fully contrary on why crypto is being created on the first place but due to regulation and for them to make an operation they would need to abide

government rules or terms which do really sucks and for us users we wont have any choice but to follow. The only thing that I wanna say is that government do still have that generic reason why they wont accept crypto and that's about illegal matters without even thinking that fiat itself is already a nest of these said shady transactions.

Different reasons but surely all of those government who's taking actions and asking for KYC are trying to have a control over this industry, they are creating rules in order to make sure that people around their jurisdictions are complying with the government and not sabotaging their entire economy, crypto can't be more powerful than the Fiat that they've using it can turned out to manipulates everything around.

It just boils down to one reason, they wanted a full compliant framework here so that they won't lose the control they hold. They are just masking it that's why we see lots of reason being given by government today. Then want KYC, they want shared data all across trading platform. Because they want to know who are the individuals behind and wanted to see what's going on. Might be an interesting read for everyone: (https://cointelegraph.com/news/india-supreme-court-gives-central-bank-2-weeks-to-justify-crypto-ban).

I do believe that they really want full control on the crypto aspect the reason why they want full compliance when it comes to dealing with cryptocurrencies. But such full control is not possible in crypto. However, they can only regulate the usage of crypto because of its nature. I wonder if they truly know how crypto works.
