2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: March 04, 2021, 10:01:30 PM
Now there is almost a repeat of 2017.  It is quite possible that at the end of 2021 we will see the same powerful alt season that was at the end of 2017.  We all hope so.
We will never go back to 2017 and will not see the same scenario again. In 2017 altcoins season, there are a lot of scam projects that pumped, and I think it will not anymore happen this coming altcoin season as investors are smarter and they would not easily invest on coins without researching.

Also, the ICO craze is over, and this De-Fi thing is not as big as the ICO craze.
2562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to altcoins in this bull season on: March 04, 2021, 03:03:45 PM
We are already in March 2021 now, I'm guessing first quarter of the year is almost over, now how many altcoins really benefits from btc hitting 50k ? In 2017 when btc hit 19k all altcoins are pumping like no tomorrow, even shitcoins made incredible bounces but why aren't we seeing such this time around?
Don't compare the situation we have this year to the past, for the reason that we are changing by now. People are learning from past experience, developers also enhancing their projects.

If we could see, there are no such hypes last 2017 that it happens this time. That is a huge factor that we are not going to see an altcoins bear season rather than seeing only potential coins do the rally accompanied to the Bitcoin spike. If we are not seeing again those days, I don't think we feel bad, that much better than being caught with the trap.
2563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Data suggesting more than 95% traders are losing on: March 04, 2021, 02:45:24 PM
Many traders fail because they are brought about by their emotion. Can't really blame them because to be human is to feel emotions. One's emotions can really sometimes hinder your ability to make intelligent decisions. Most are affected by their fear too much. As Warren Buffet said "Be greedy while others are fearful".

There is no way about winning if we have been controlled by our emotions. It should be stopped in order to make a good decision that will results positive.

It can't deny that many traders had lost but many were also are profiting.
What brings us to losses is that because we wanted instant, we wanted to become rich in a day but we even don't know to work patiently to achieve our goal. That's something we commonly missed and that is why most traders will say that they are badly losing than profiting. They don't have the record to help track their traders either. So they never know exactly, IMO.
2564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about the few days deep on: March 03, 2021, 03:13:41 PM
...
so the best is just following your mind and trade with cautions.
Trading is not all about TA, reading charts, acquiring all the trading tools to look more effective but above, it was your mind and heart doing the final decisions.

I sell because that was what I feel...
I hold because that was also what I feel...

Because at the end of the day, either we are right or wrong, there is nothing to blame but just ourselves. That be fair, though.
2565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: March 03, 2021, 02:28:35 PM
Some Defi Coins play very well on crypto market. Is it good time to invest in Polkadot Coin?
Not yet. It is too early to say that Polkadot has the potentials. What O looking to a certain coin that we could it have the gaining future if only if it shows consistency on the market growth and volume. Because for now, it wasn't clear enough to think about but somehow, it is a coin to be enlisted.

We have to take time for this coin to develop and get a huge market attraction. And this will lies upon the developers and the team itself to create an effective strategy to bring the interest of the investors and must be eye-catching.
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: March 02, 2021, 03:03:15 PM
Hello Guys,

Coins on top for 2017 like EOS, VET, ZEC, DASH, NANO, XTZ...
Can they compete with existing coins like DOT, LINK, coins on DEfi.

Should I invest in old coins?

You can not underestimate them. These coins been so long in the market but still very active and still have a good trading volume which is enough to think that we are safe investing in them.

Defi projects are also progressive, not all of them but something we have to consider. But if we are looking for a long-term investment, I should have to choose the old ones as they have a bigger ROI assurance than these new coins.

But anyway, you can have them both. Consider Defi projects in the short-term while old coins are for a long-term goal. I think it gonna be fair, though.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders - May 8 on: March 01, 2021, 10:20:58 PM
I know it's hard to bet against Canelo right now but Saunders ain't no left over so I want to bet on him in this fight and take that odds.

and the betting odds is also available _ https://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/saul-alvarez-v-billy-joe-saunders/winner

Saunders @4
Canelo @1.17

Saunders  is undefeated so just like Callum Smith, this fight could go in 12 rounds, and maybe I should just add some bet on the other side like Canelo winning by decision, that if the odds is 2+.
2568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 01, 2021, 10:10:42 PM
I remember when I saw Sabonis, Adams and Kanter playing together in OKC in mid 2016/2017 (i guess), and several people said they would both have a promising future in the NBA ... yeah, how time flies!

Wow I'm impressed, are you a fan of the OKC or Sabonis?
Honestly I can't remember anymore that he played with OKC but I do remember Adams and Kanter playing on the same team.

All I know is that Sabonis started with the Pacers and slowly developed to become an all star.
2569  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much lower you think BTC can go in this drop ? on: February 28, 2021, 02:52:54 PM
Hi Guys i would like some opinions, in this drop how low can btc go before it starts going up again , any idea what is the resistance or what could the bottom floor be for it ? I was hoping around 40-42k but it seems that it does not want to go below 47k , what do you think ? Thank you
Well, I hope it bounces back to $20k or below. Many were waiting for that time, they will buy more, increase the demand and get back to high again.

Probably, if there is a huge dump/correction that will happen, it will never be that long. Why? people got crazy about buying more and this will help the market to recover instantly. But I can't see having a huge price correction happen this year( or not anymore) as the resistance keeping strong and the market flow still improving. Maybe it is not a good idea to wait that time to come but to start buying some when there are short dumps. This will only be the best option.
2570  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts $100k before end of the year on: February 28, 2021, 02:10:10 PM
Skybridge capital founder(Anthony Scaramuc) predicts Bitcoin to hit another ATH  of $100k before the end of the year
His words in quote were
"I do think we see $100,000 in this coin before year-end … It’s just a supply and demand situation. You don’t have a lot of supply out there and very heavy demand"
And we know total Bitcoin available is 21 million where 78%(14.5 million) of the Bitcoin supply is not liquid leaving 22%(4.2 million) for buying and selling; Which will lead to the higher demand in Bitcoin and according to the skybridge founder low supply high demand keeps Bitcoin rising

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/skybridge-capital-predicts-100k-bitcoin-price-this-year-heavy-demand-diminishing-supply/

I have to say I was in the positive and likely to see Bitcoin reaches $100k but the question is how long we have to wait for that coz this year isn't that quite not achievable. I hope I was wrong but I don't want to disappoint myself expecting that it comes so fast coz we probably know how the market changes and since the dump is really existing.

But I'm not sure if this will give excitement to the community because it technically adding risk at the moment when the price reaching high. And for me, I don't want to risk either but to wait it dumps.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: February 26, 2021, 10:05:27 PM
The fight is two days away and it seems people are ignoring this one  Grin.

@Baofeng, what do you think of the above bro? Bookies are very confident that this won't go the distance as the odds for a Canelo win by KO is not attractive for small bettors.

Alvarez by decision, I think that's a good odds, just like the previous fight of Alvarez, his opponent survive and the bet won. I just can't remember the odds of that fight, but I guess it's lower than the present odds on win by decision.

Maybe, high rollers will gamble on this 7 percent profit but not me lol (just a small fish).
Even a high roller would also doubt, too small return in a risk of big money.
2572  Economy / Speculation / Re: next Bitcoin price correction WHEN? on: February 26, 2021, 03:53:31 PM
I believe it was answered already and probably we know already why it happens like this. Because if there is someone who could tell the future of Bitcoin, I don't think that able to enjoy its volatility. And that because it remains unpredictable, we can just answer "MAYBE".

Maybe it was clear enough to say that nobody holds the future of Bitcoin and that even the creator never has control over it. Every drop and pump is a big surprise for everyone and we need to accept that rather than formulating any speculations.
2573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this eth congestion sucks almost 5 hours on: February 26, 2021, 01:44:18 PM
i have sent some erc20 token to binance. now almost 5 hours still going. am really fed up with this.... bsc is the best and trc20...  eth sucks
Better to pay it at a higher fee, then you will expect a less than 5-hour arrival.

I really think that this congestion will take longer to stop. We can expect an instant confirmation this time unlike before. So many traders, buyers, users appear this time, transactions boiled up high and the number of miners is not enough to cater to all of these things that is why we experience long delays and might possibly it takes more than 24 hrs.
2574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth gas fees and investing on: February 26, 2021, 01:19:54 PM
I am not a technologist, let alone a programmer, just an investor and trader.

What do I need to know about Ethereum's high gas fees? I'm hearing some say that this could sink Ethereum. How exagerrated is that?
High fees couldn't mean that it will drag ETH to the ground and sink. Not exactly it ended like that and this is not the long-term situation, it will soon drop and back from the usual fees we pay before. It is just for now that we need t pay higher fees to the miners in order to fasten our transaction but if you are not really in a hurry, we can set to its minimum fees.

However, even we set it on the minimum but the fees are still higher compared to the past Bullrun. This will really be a burden for small capital investors and most likely, this will be the reason for them to stop. But as I said, this is not a reason that we could think about a sinking boat(ETH).
2575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risk on: February 26, 2021, 11:08:02 AM
I'm not familiar with DIVI, as I checked its market, it's trading is not that good compared to the others coins you have stated.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/divi/markets/

I think be more careful with low volume altcoins especially that it has already dump from its high, that's really a high risk investing on it, don't put too much exposure of your money in high risk asset.
2576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WHAT happened to goosebet.io on: February 26, 2021, 10:36:46 AM
the site is now close they did run with lots of people money.
Wow, they really did run away after all this time. Too bad that there are some people that lost their money and the only good thing about this is that the website is not that famous of a website. There should be a complaint filed against the owner of this website because they will definitely do it again because they know that people will just let go when they got swindled.
However even 0.001btc is valued high at this market situation. The price of Bitcoin is found above $45000. I don't think it is possible to file a complaint or accusation against the owner of the goosebet. These people always stay hidden from the world, only the trusted service providers reveal their identity.

I also thought of that, because even if I lose money like $100 and the site is operating outside my country, I think that would make me waste a lot of time to complain for that money only, and we are in an anonymous world we value it therefore we should know the risk.
2577  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: February 26, 2021, 09:49:57 AM
I doubt that he had been told by the team itself when it comes on moving on since from the start on moving on forward specially now that they do able to see that he had really been affected much because of that lose.
Deontay Wilder does not look like a person who listen to his coaching staff, even if anyone wants to help him genuinely he will shut them out.

This issue has only came out when he lose against Fury, the problem is so deep and I think the only problem is Wilder. I don't know how long his coach has been working with him but he was one of the reason of his success, and I don't think disrespecting anyone on his corner would do good for his future.
2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: February 26, 2021, 09:18:33 AM
Is it true that 70% of all adults in Thailand are gamblers? If the statistic is true then definitely Thailand is a gamblers country. The existing problem of their government about illegal gambling is an indication that they are lacks with their regulations, but if the government wants to take advantage of the situation they can legalised those gamblings or casinos and impose proper tax from them.

I don't know about 70% of the population, but a lot of people do gamble. In the history of Thailand there were times when gambling was legalized, but it did not last long. The Thai government is not interested in taxes as their main goal is to eradicate gambling, which should eventually lead to a reduction in the illegal income of criminal gangs.
Which shows a lack of understanding about human nature, it is impossible to stop people from gambling and any kind of prohibition will just create black markets in which people are simply going to be scammed or be abused, if they instead legalize the industry not only they can obtain taxes out of it but they can also protect their players, to me this shows very clearly that it is way better to regulate a market than it is to prohibit it which is what they are trying to do.

illegal or not, people will not stop gamble all of a sudden. but the Thailand government has to start somewhere that these casinos will negotiate til they could come up an agreement.

they would prefer to continue their business than starting over again it more manageable for both parties. Both are goin to be happy that way, the governments gets what they want and the casino as well.

Illegal means they don't have the license to operate and they don't report to the government, what the government would only want is to monitor the gambling sites if it's operating within the standards set by the regulators and to get the right amount of tax for the government.

They should comply as illegal gives a high risk when operating this kind of business.
2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 26, 2021, 08:46:53 AM
I think the C. Stand news will be big news to wait. if he will not SMB then I think the rumor is correct that he will be traded to Ginebra for Slaughter and I believe Slaughter already knows that and accepted it already, let's just what's going to happen as these are just rumors anyway.
Poor big guy if that's going to happen. But until it's final and it's on the news, we have to wait until it arrives the correct news. But these rumors sometimes if it's coming from a valid source or from someone who knows a lot in the PBA, it's likely an insider.
Well yes, we'll just have to wait.
These rumors if it will come into reality, Ginebra will only make a better team, a team that could compete well against SMB.
SMB will not anymore get him as they already dump him for Tautua, so it's probably the Ginebra and not the Magnolia too as they already got Calvin.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul moving to Puerto Rico, fight back on? on: February 25, 2021, 10:55:05 PM

I'm a Fan of Logan Paul Vlogs and I subscribe to his youtube channel a long time ago. He clearly knows how to sell and knows it would be a big amount of money if the fights with Mayweather will continue. It's a big trend last time what happened in his fight with KSI.

Vloggers knows how to sell anything this is what their business is all about whether he is fighting Mayweather or a low level fighter, he will try to make a hype of it, in the past he is trying to challenge McGregor but it did not push through, he really knows how to pick a person, because he knows it's going to be a multi million dollar deal.

It didn't push thru because they couldn't get enough money out of this. Maybe Mayweather saw that there's nothing in it for him, because after all, he is after for the money that it will generate. However, people didn't pick it up. So they decided to cancel. I also thought that it will sell because Logan Paul has a lot of followers, unfortunately, maybe those followers doesn't want to pay, just want to watch for free via his YT.  Tongue

It's just that people are not happy Mayweather fighting a youtube, so fans dos not support him. If Paul fights the same youtuber then maybe the fight would be interesting. People are done being naive giving easy money to Mayweather for easy fight, they want a serious one like  a fight with Manny Pacquiao which is a rematch.

By the way, there will be no Conor vs Floyd because Conor is already out of the equation.  Cheesy
