An official t-shirt from PD? That's a good giveaway, it's a good real life stuff that you can give to the loyal players of PD but you should have some criteria of your players that will receive this t-shirt but if it's a lie before, make sure that you'll make it real this time. Just let those lucky ones shoulder the shipping fee.

The shipping fee should not be the only thing that the players should consider.

There should be a discussion for giveaways anyway.
2566  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: October 17, 2017, 12:28:56 PM
Billionaires may have invested in BTC at this point as the price is surging up really fast. They might be the reason why the price is this volatile. Hopefully after this fork in November, price will be stable.

Any estimated time of availability?

Last time I was able to visit Duckdice, it looked a lot different. Do we have the option to get the old theme back. I like the baby colors such as green and yellow that were used before.

About Forbes article, they are more focused on long-term investments in promising cryptos with a heavy 50% performance fee.

And Forbes is writing an article on us too soon. Smiley

This I will be looking forward into.

Whenever Forbes would write something about a project, it will be a great advertisement for that particular project.

2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 03, 2017, 02:39:21 AM
I have read in some newspapers that tickets on black market for this fight will go up to 130 000$... I don't know why would price go so high, think that Mayweather will win this easily and wouldn't be so interesting  to watch.

Would you post a reference. Or just name that newspaper you've read it from.

I think $130000 For a ticket is just too much. Probably because of the hype. But too much still!
2574  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are you looking for a new book this football season? on: August 03, 2017, 02:21:12 AM

"A" rated books
nitrogensports.eu A+ (2012)
betcoin.ag A- (2013)

"B"rated books
bitcoinrush.io B (2013)

"C" rated books
cloudbet.com C(2013)
sportsbet.io C (2016)
anonibet.com  C- (2011)

"D" rated books

Don't want to be going to sites without having a research beforehand.
2575  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch - ICO - Earn BKB for bug reports on: August 03, 2017, 02:11:17 AM
4 Days Until the ICO Starts!

Yup. And just to remind everybody eyeing when to best make an investment, you will be entitled with a 15% discount for the first week of the ICO.

If ever you missed the Pre-sale, you have this time to still make a good and discounted investment.
2576  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC | 🎂 on: August 03, 2017, 01:58:05 AM
Yeah basically everybody is complaining at services and exchanges that they didn't get their BCH when they clearly were warned well in advance.

I think most people assumed that BCH would be a failure and would be worth 0, so they just brushed it off and didn't bother with cold storaging, but now since it has value, everybody wants their cut.
That is the reality, they never took it seriously and now after seeing the price they are crying about the coin, Cheesy just read an article that some of the users are planning to file a legal case against coinbase because they are not giving BCH when they have clearly given their stand if there is a split in the network.
They could have done things a lot easier by holding their coins and now everyone is crying for the coins.  Grin

Since primedice made an announcement of not giving Bch oo btc onsite after fork, they are not liable for it. I just don't feel coinbase should change what they initially stated.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: August 03, 2017, 01:51:46 AM
Do sports and explore new places. At the end of the day virtual gambling is not that rewarding compared to outside world experiences shared with the people you love and cherish. Just like you said, it creates a thirst that is never quenched. It creates an illusion that you want a little bit more of what you already have and then it's gone in an instant.

This I agree with. Imagine those times when you already won but failed to withdraw. And after you realized it, its gone and its too late. Just set limits and treat gambling as a recreational activity and not an everyday task.

2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you play Dice can you feel your heart in your throat? on: August 02, 2017, 07:30:34 PM
I havent felt like that, because i am only gamble with small balance and even only occasionally in a month. I gambled when really feeling very saturated.
Gambling would never be fun if you do not feel that thrill, I do gamble not with a small amount as I know I will not be entertain when I cannot feel the thrill. The amount that I risk is just good enough to make me a little nervous and I think there is no problem with that as long as I bet what I can afford to lose.

Yup. The rush of adrenaline that can be achieved when you are playing a nice amount of cash. But responsible gambling is what is needed before someone try to play.
2580  Economy / Gambling / Re: MegaDice.com - 0.9% edge Dice, 26 High End Slots, Bet on the House on: August 02, 2017, 07:14:37 PM

I rarely believe this article, i dont think they even owned such amount, what they would have done is they would have faked the BTC amount.
I also do not believe that Underdog01253 created an account, placed a $250 slot bet and won 303 BTC. It looks like an inside job to defraud the investors, especially as Curacao eGaming do not supervise its licensees!

It is also totally unclear how they were able to process the 303 BTC win, while their hotwallet was almost always empty?
They might have tried to rip the investors by hedging their bankroll first and then self betting with confirmed win. I have seen such instances when Magicaldice devs were self betting to rip the investors.

I asked about it. Their reply was that he just got lucky and then he kept betting more and more and ended up losing some of that win.

No idea if this was generated on purpose or not.

I mean if you legitimately win 303 BTC, why would you keep gambling anyways?

Apparently he kept betting more and more and lost a huge amount of that win and just cashed it out and never returned.

The whole situation was sketchy as hell according to me.

As always, any site will always said that thing when trying to scam. Usually it will take like forever just to let the 300 btc move out like that. 300 btc is not small amount, so how are they going to pay out someone so easily? Without doing any investigation? This is just so absurd here. And like you guys said before how is suppose for any player to keep on betting if suddenly he won that huge amount? This just does not add up here. If anyone have prove, this should be put on scam accusation

The win was a legitimate win and wasn't cashed out instantly. Gamblers, as has been mentioned earlier in the thread, will often carry on playing even when they have won a large amount. This winner in particular carried on to lose 2 thirds of their winnings.

The reason why its sketchy is because he won the 303 BTC right away, and he could of lost 2/3rd of that amount to make it seem like it wasn't luck.

Because when you win 303 BTC, why would you keep gambling to win more?

Also what are the chances he would win another 303BTC consecutively, it doesn't make sense probabilistic.

Apparently, we don't have evidence that they just made it look like a legitimate win/roll.

And there are people who really would keep betting even though they've won a nice amount already.

But I personally(my opinion and gut-feel) that there is something that has not been told.
