261  Economy / Services / Re: MintDice Signature Campaign(3 open Full member spots) on: August 26, 2019, 06:43:27 AM
Also, I suppose the payment is done to user's account in MintDice? Is it paid in BTC?

Read OP post carefully, already explained

That's true, I missed it, sorry!

That's too difficult for most people. Reading is fundamental but requires someone to follow directions. Posts like his normally I will not respond to. If they don't wanna take the time to read, then I won't take the time to respond.

Saying "for most people" is an overstatement, unless you consider people who might miss a detail as "having difficulty to read".
Unlike many people who have applied here without asking any questions, I've read everything in order to make sure it'd be more beneficial for me to run for this campaign and decided to ask two questions.

As for my 2nd question which was not answered (the length of the campaign), I asked the team in the Telegram and the answer was "The more traffic, the longer and larger the sign campaign will run for".
So at least they plan to run it for long, as long as it is effective. In which case I'd like to apply.

Any official word about the length of this campaign? Is it mean to be running for an undefined amount of time (a long one) or a short, like 1-2 months?
I'm happy where I am but at least I'd like to know if I can consider a transition! Tongue

Also, I suppose the payment is done to user's account in MintDice? Is it paid in BTC?
263  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice.com – The World's Best Fully Featured Casino. Play or Invest! on: August 24, 2019, 08:44:44 PM
just joined and immediately tried the FAUCET, I was very surprised that there could choose FEDERAL RESERVE DOLLAR or BITCOIN.  The green colour makes me very comfortable exploring the platform.. very good work  Wink

I haven't created the account at mintdice yet but what is so special about this faucet ? and what do you mean by "FEDERAL RESERVE DOLLAR"  Huh
Anyways the fist look and the site color combination is awesome.

btw, if i have much FRD token, what i can do with that token? can convert it to btc? or its only game money that haven't value?

You can find all the information regarding the faucet and our FRD here.

But to answer briefly, the "Federal Reserve Dollar" is MintDice's play money. With our FRD you can enjoy our games stress-free and risk-free Smiley

I don't think I've found the answer to this question to the FAQ and I was about to ask this as well!
What's the difference between choosing FRD or BTC from the faucet and then playing? If I choose FRD, can I exchange it for BTC? I didn't find any such option in the menus of my profile.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: August 24, 2019, 08:26:40 PM
I've filled my bags these days and I'm standing on 4062 ARK! Now, that should be about 1ARK per day from staking I believe? Let's see!
This 1 ARK / day has been my goal for 2 years now! Cool

Exit scam!

Please report and file charges.

sad, but true.

scam ? wow thats weird
but why, today the price of BPT rising more than 150% , is this only a joke or what ?
https://imgur.com/C2cINeW

Where is it even traded? I believe it's so thinly traded that just 50€ buying can send the price 150% up! Then someone sells 100€ and sends it 80% down!

(80% down after 150% up is lower than it was before the 150% up, right? Maybe... I guess so!)
266  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: August 24, 2019, 10:35:44 AM
Oh it's down! I can't access it at all right now.
Is it down for maintenance? Server upgrade maybe?

I'm sure with my latest activity and half-ass posts to just hit the minimum of posts for the signature payment, I must have fallen quite low in rankings, I just want to see how low I am!
I used to have such a good rate of merit receiving but I've gone busy IRL lately and maybe a little bored of the forums.

Aaand... Ok I'll bite and feed the troll!

this is why I question the OPs motive, is he trying to create rankings (highscores) to boost himself up? Reminds me of those losers that spend all day grinding video games to get virtual skills and items which mean nothing.

It's all about the sense of achievement sir.
Some people feel they have achieved something great when they have gathered large numbers on their bank account (or eWallet), even if sometimes they've acted immorally against others in order to achieve that...
Others feel a sense of achievement when they get a beautiful girlfriend.
Others when they win on a sport tournament.
Others when they have finally got that sweet rare loot on an MMORPG for which they worked hard with their guild and friends.
Others when they are recognized in a forum.

All those mean something to the ones who have worked for it, sure I don't agree that all of the above are great achievements but that's my personal opinion, I don't force it on the face of those who work hard towards those goals.
If you act with that attitude toward others in your real life too, then you'll have problems.

268  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crex24.com - Cryptocurrency Exchange [Official Thread] (Fiat deposit/withdrawal) on: August 23, 2019, 08:42:27 PM
https://explorer2.actinium.org
According the explorer, the last block was mined on Wed, 21 Aug 2019 17:19:27 GMT

But on the official website of Actinium - https://actinium.org/#explorer - there is a link to another explorer - https://explorer.actinium.org/ - new blocks are constantly being generated in it.

In addition, there is another explorer - https://altexplorer.co/coin/acm - on it as well, new blocks appear continuously.

I don't know what this coin is or why do you bother with it, but it seems they've disabled the explorer2 (it's red on their site).
Therefore the https://explorer.actinium.org/ which you linked seems to be their only supported explorer at the moment.
Maybe Crex24 was taking data from that explorer? But then again, it's a withdrawal that has been stuck, not a deposit, so they shouldn't need an explorer for that.

Well, I'm sure they'll help you quickly, they seem to have a good support! Smiley

The faucet is really intriguing!
I made an account and I'll give your system a try... so far my 1 FRD disappeared in a dice roll I did for fun! Grin
I'll try again later I guess!
270  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: August 23, 2019, 08:23:55 AM
What is entertaining is how the BSV believers will find any kind of unthinkable basis to deny the provided proof, no matter how unreasonable their basis for denial is!

They are no believers or supporters at this point, they are a cult! Cheesy
At least they are not dangerous!
271  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: August 23, 2019, 08:15:02 AM
whooohoo ! Most people I had on my ignore list have been removed from the campaign! Good job!

I would also like to see a bit decrease in the maximum post count and increase in the payrate alongside a more often house-cleaning (I feel like what I'm asking too much! Roll Eyes)
Doing 60 posts per week is a bit inhuman, all the people (or most?) who have been hitting this number every week were spamming posts with brain-dead content!
272  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: August 23, 2019, 08:05:08 AM
Wouldn't your worries go away if you'd just hold your funds yourselves guys? If you're all so worries about who's securing your funds, just deposit what you're planning to exchange and then withdraw back!

That's the only way I've been doing things forever!
So shitty banking is ok... not.

I was supposing that people are storing cryptocurrencies in exchanges, not fiat. But if we're talking about holding fiat in an exchange or a bank, I'd choose bank any time!
There are so many scum exchanges out there which are much worse than banks.
Kraken is fine, from my personal experience it's the best and most supportive exchange I've used, but they can't be immune, there's always a chance they might get hacked and they'll have to resort in haircutting our balances... so what I was saying was that it's better to keep your funds on your own hands (if you have good security habits).
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 22, 2019, 06:01:49 PM
If I have to switch from Ethereum to anything else, I will switch to Bitcoin, not Ethereum Classic.

Ain't those two totally different things? You hold bitcoin as you'd hold gold, as a store of value for the future, but you buy Ethereum to use it in DAPPs.

If we leave speculation outside, Ethereum is probably the most useful blockchain at the moment with Bitcoin being close second... Not many stores accept BTC so it's not as much useful as Ethereum with its many games.
It's just that with the more apps being developed, the slower and more expensive it gets.
Like people from ARK put it, "it's like putting more and more cars on a single road with a limited amount of lines"!

Ethereum Classic was a decent effort, but people should accept it when a project fails and let it die.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 22, 2019, 01:19:28 PM
Oh my lovely broken Ethereum... 24 hours waiting for a smart contract interaction to go through!
In order to play a game in Ethereum I have to choose between paying big for every little action or wait a few hours, up to days!

I think I'm going to stop supporting developers who build on Ethereum... maybe if Ethereum ever proceeds with updating their blockchain I'll become a fan again, but right now I'm looking forward to games built on ARK and LOOM.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: August 22, 2019, 01:08:51 PM
if ark could reach a couple hundreds dollars each like ethereum i can provide a couple hundreds of these scooters to a couple big city in the midwest free of charge!  Grin you can mark this post.

Interestingly enough, ARK's circulation is actually close to Ethereum's, if ARK was to replace Ethereum (which I don't believe will happen in the world of stupid people we live in) then it'd reach about $150 with today's market caps!
Amazing! But I'm just hopping for $10, if we reach that level I'll start selling my staked income.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: The Continuous Printing of Money on: August 22, 2019, 07:20:08 AM
Paper money has existed for many centuries, and governments have long developed certain rules for their circulation in society, so that they benefit the state economy. They are generally very useful for any economy, however, as elsewhere, moderation is always needed. In terms of printing extra money, I do not see big problems. The government sometimes prints extra paper money, but it also knows that this can lead not only to big inflation, but also to the political death of this government.

The thing is, that metals as a form of value for trading has existed for much longer than fiat paper.
Ofcourse we can't keep using physical metals in our age... I don't know how much gold one mobile case bought from ebay is but it'd probably cost more to transfer a tiny amount of gold to china than bringing in the case from there! Grin

But Blockchain should be the next step that bridges the best of both worlds (the fairness of physical metals and the comfort of fiat transactions).
It doesn't have to be Bitcoin, just any well organized blockchain with fairness in mind would be great.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: August 22, 2019, 07:06:21 AM
I see many people are commenting without even reading about this guy! Roll Eyes

He was NOT LUCKY, he was searching for jackpots from different lotteries in which the jackpot would be 3 times the amount he'd spend to buy every possible combination.
He was playing the combinations from PC and with the help of people he was registering the tickets to multiple offices.

If you play every combination, then you obviously have 100% chance of winning! So, this looks more like investing than gambling... he invested time and money to calculate and buy all the combinations without making a mistake, then he'd get more money than what he'd invest. So.... that's investing!
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 22, 2019, 07:02:22 AM
Yes that was really bad, I never had so much money in my Life.
The problem was that I didnt transfered it to fiat, my Idea was to buy Altcoins (this was before the altseason) and so I transfered it to poloniex but after a week I tought I could win more to buy more altcoins but I lost.
I transfered again and again to the Casino till all was gone.
I could be rich today when i only held the alts and BTC but shit happens.
I did lesen my lesson.

That's one dangerous thing to do, but I know it's hard to stay put and not to keep trying to get back to your all-time-high winnings!
I've been through this with my investments in the stock market, I had won big and took some profit, then things started going wrong and I kept putting my winnings back in to trade.

In the end, I ended up putting all my winnings back into my trading account and I stopped there, thankfully I was able to recover 50% of my ATH... but I would probably had stopped if I had lost 100% of my winnings without risking my own money.
279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: August 22, 2019, 06:58:08 AM
Imagine someone trying to make a serious documentary of Craig sometime in the future, I'm sure it'll turn out only as a comedy! Cheesy
He can't even forge a word file's metadata, let alone write Bitcoin's code! And there are so many other "fails" he has gone through that he'd really make one funny documentary!
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: August 22, 2019, 06:49:32 AM
Looking for a new development challenge? You can earn 25,000 ARK by taking on the new ARK Scooters Tier 0 project to create a working PoC for scooter rental on the blockchain.

Read more: https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/tier-0-program/issues/12

More available projects at: https://ark.io/projects

OMG this is an awesome idea!
I've already got my hands full with work, otherwise I'd give this a shot! That's a great way for ARK to receive fees from users AND a great advertisement at the same time (having scooters with your logo on the streets, that is!)

As long as the users are forced to pay in ARK only and the purchase of coins is made easy through the app using a quick portal, that'll be very beneficial to ARK!
