261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you had this gambling experience? on: March 02, 2024, 07:58:32 PM
I've been there too.  You toss a few dollars on some game you don't care about, maybe make enough to buy a coffee and  then you go full stat geek, researching for hours, totally sure of your picks.  But then - bam! - they all lose.  Such a familiar story for any bettor.

We get that urge to spend way too much time analyzing matchups and numbers even for sports we don't follow.  Feeling like weve uncovered some secret strategy.  Yet more often than not, it blows up in our faces.  Just one of those painful lessons most gamblers have to learn at some point.
262  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The Downfall of FreeBitco.in [YouTube] on: March 01, 2024, 05:31:01 PM
You have selectively used information and ignored facts that do not fit your narrative. For example, jper3009 did receive responses, both from TheQuin and their email support.

Once again, are you sure about that?

Yes, I'm sure.

TheQuin replied to the user on January 15:

I'm sorry if I missed it. Please send me a PM with the details.

And jper3009 himself confirmed that he received a response:

I'm not sure what happened but this is the explanation I got from TheQuin

"As a general observation when 2 outputs on the same transaction are sent to the same deposit address the first is processed immediately and then the server has to go back and reread the transaction before it processes the second one. That causes a delay in the second one showing up which often causes people to incorrectly think they only got one."

However in my case I was not credited the second transaction until date. I made 2 deposits, one was added and the other wasn't.

Yes, I'm aware the user still claims that one of his deposits wasn't credited.  However, for objectivity, I prefer not to draw conclusions based on a single complaint without attached evidence. It could be a legitimate issue or a simple misunderstanding.

Because some people want to have reassurance that their money is being managed properly. I know of a few high rollers (10 bitcoins + ) who moved all their coins off freebitco.in because there was so little information on them and when they heard the two guys operating the site had no backup plan if shit hit the fan.

You indeed worry about valid points but some posters here worry about our intentions of "spamming" the board with some youtube videos that have nothing but concrete information to provide as well as our own experience, let alone so many users here who indeed post nonsese in other topics and such, so yes, you make valid points that need to be addressed.

I have already pointed out that this is not true and that your video is highly subjective and opinion based. You have cherry-picked information that fits your narrative and ignored the rest.

Maybe 7-8 years ago everything was fine, you do understand users have no way of getting in touch with them ... what if you have 1 BTC stuck there? Try to take it a few steps forward.

As far as I am aware, nothing major has changed with freebitco.in compared to 7-8 years ago. (Correct me if I'm wrong as I didn't use the platform back then.) There's no point in discussing "What ifs..."

Again, as mentioned in the topic/video we want them to succeed, we get paid on a weekly basis from them with 128k+ referrals, but how this contradicts the fact there are serious issues here?

You want them to succeed? We are talking about the longest-running Bitcoin faucet and a gambling platform that has operated for over a decade with no major issues or scam accusations. That sounds like success to me!
264  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The Downfall of FreeBitco.in [YouTube] on: March 01, 2024, 04:25:21 PM

So my question is, why did you continue to mislead your viewers (basically lied) with your video?

Watch again buddy, at 2:24.
The quote is from jper3009.

Yes, it is taken in the video with a quoted frame under Gess's post but it has nothing todo with Gess.

Yes. You seem to be right about that. You used a quote from GESS242558, so I made the wrong conclusion.

But still, same argument. You have selectively used information and ignored facts that do not fit your narrative. For example, jper3009 did receive responses, both from TheQuin and their email support. You didn't mention that. In the video, the impression given was that there was a complete lack of response, which is not true.

Btw at 9:42 it is mentioned the user (jper) was credited eventually but it has taken 6 months!

No, I NEVER got to that part. I found your video very subjective and based on opinions rather than facts, so I stopped watching.

But again, this is the problem with them - 0 transparency about who they are, where they operate from etc.

Why is this a problem?  This hasn't been a problem for the past 10+ years, why would it be a problem now?  As long as everything works as it should and the site pays.
266  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The Downfall of FreeBitco.in [YouTube] on: March 01, 2024, 03:35:23 PM
OP, while watching your video, I came across the part where you mentioned a post by bitcointalk.org user gess242558. This prompted me to check your statements.

On the same page you took the screenshot from, a user posted this:

wait they answered

But you chose to ignore that information and continued with your wrong assumptions.

And yesterday, the same user posted this:

Well, they have already arrived, now I’m waiting for new ones! Wink

yes satoshi came freebitcoin - the best project in 10 years!

So my question is, why did you continue to mislead your viewers (basically lied) with your video?

I don't know how to remove, this is some image hosting website.
I only received what can be seen in the photo.

Even if this isn't a joke (and honestly, who randomly sends money through the mail anymore?), there are a few things you should be aware of:

First off, posting sensitive personal information, like the words from that plate, online can be risky, as someone could potentially misuse it.

Second, even if it's legit, your letter mentioned a "6-digit code". Without that code, accessing this wallet wouldn't be possible.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: your perception about gambling on: February 29, 2024, 11:18:47 PM
Way I see it, it's a free country and all.  Folks can fritter away their coins however they please - be it the slots or horses or what have you.  Course you got them what take it too far, let it eat em up inside til they ain't got two nickels to rub together.  But for most, just a bit of fun and games ain't causing no harm.  Those religious types might get all hot and bothered bout folks trying to get lucky but even the Good Book don't expressly say no gambling.  Only catch is it's looked down on by some circles.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How your feels? on: February 29, 2024, 09:00:49 PM
I've been messing around with bitcoin and crypto gambling pretty much since I first got into it.  Yeah, I know some people just buy and hold and whatnot, but I couldn't help playing around with it too.  I mean, who knew this stuff would blow up like it has? It's not like any of us had a crystal ball when we first started clicking around on these sketchy online poker sites back in the day.

Sure in hindsight I guess it wouldve been smarter to just hang onto everything I got my hands on.  But how could I have known? I sold some here and there when I needed some cash or wanted to play around with some other coins and  and I definitely don't spend my time thinking what if? - no point in regretting it now.  I used my bitcoin how I wanted at the time, and had some fun with it.

Now I see these kids getting rich off meme coins and NFTs and stuff - crazy times.  But hey, I don't mind, I got in early enough that I've done alright for myself too.  Just hope Im smart enough now to hang onto most of what I've got.  Who knows maybe it'll keep going up and I can retire early! But yeah, no crystal balls in this game, unfortunately.  Just gotta make your bets and see how it plays out.
270  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Abuse / Account farm on: February 28, 2024, 09:35:24 PM
I agree. These posters - CRAIC, Kypher, Kounter, corel - seem kinda questionable. I dunno if they're actually connected or what but their posting styles are weirdly similar.  Like, they all like one-liner posts and occasionally just copy-paste a news article without much original commentary.  And the merits they get seems to move between their accounts a lot, so maybe they actually are alts.  Cant prove it though.

Bottom line - something seems off with those first few posters you mentioned.  But not sure we got solid proof to accuse them officially.  More just a gut feeling they might be up to something sketchy with how they post and interact.

I also noticed that Kypher already has a neutral tag from suchmoon:

271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 28, 2024, 08:54:48 PM
Manchester United is searching a new central defender.

They are studying Bremer from Juvenuts.

Price tag should be around 50-60m €

Yeah, United desperately need reinforcements at the back.  Bringing in a top-class center-back could really shore things up. And Gleison Bremer is one name that keeps popping up. While Juve haven't come out and said they want to sell Bremer, rumors say they'd listen to a solid offer for him.  And word is that Bremer himself expressed his desire to play in the Premier League in the future.

So while nothing's certain yet, it looks like Man United are seriously interested in Bremer.  If they make a big enough bid this offseason he could be playing at Old Trafford next season.  Juventus probably wouldnt want to lose him, but money talks.

Why does telling the truth about Bitcoin make me a "price piece of shit" to you?

I fixed that mistake in your quote.

Wanna see a picture instead? Here you go:

Need a definition?

Quote
A useless person who spews crap and bullshit out of their mouth constantly.

Quote
(1) a worse than worthless object or person; an object or person that holds no value or redeeming qualities whatsoever

(2) a stupid, low-life, self-righteous human being who makes life a living hell for themselves and others

Quote
Any peroson who is not worth the same amount as a piece of shit.

Tons of other definitions out there, but these ones hit the spot for you, in my opinion.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision 2024 bets on: February 27, 2024, 10:28:59 PM
Croatia, it will be great or just terrible. Last year they also sent a bit strange song, but didn't got good result.

Yes, I agree. Croatia has a much better song than last year's entry, (which was a bit too controversial, imho.)  If I'm not mistaken, it resembles Rammstein's music a bit.
I'm not saying it's a ripoff, but maybe the artist was inspired by the iconic German rock band. Wink
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision 2024 bets on: February 26, 2024, 10:55:04 PM
Well, Germany has struck out at Eurovision again.  I hate to say it, but this year's entry just doesn't seem like a good fit for the contest.  We picked a decent song and Isaac is a talented singer, but the whole package lacks that special Eurovision sparkle needed to stand out.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twhq3S4YHdQ

It's a perfectly fine radio tune but come on... You need major stage presence and killer choreography to grab people's attention and  this song just kind of plods along without much excitement.  And the staging looks pretty boring too from what I've seen so far.

I wish they'd chosen something more dynamic and crowd-pleasing.  As it is, theyll be relying on some jury points to avoid finishing dead last.  And with such an unmemorable song, Isaac's going to struggle big time to pick up votes in the public televote.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Previous ATH achieve before bull? on: February 26, 2024, 10:34:26 PM

I've been seeing different opinions on whether we're in a bull run for bitcoin or not.  Some folks are confident we're riding high on a wave of profits, while others think this is just a temporary spike before another crash.  Me personally? I dont think anyone can predict these cycles with accuracy.

Sure, there are usually certain market conditions and events that signal when sentiment and prices may start trending up.  But crypto is notoriously volatile and moves to its own beat.  so rather than trying to call the precise start or end date of a bull run I'm just keeping a close eye on market indicators day-to-day. If prices start consistently hitting higher highs, trade volumes increase, and headlines turn more positive? Well those are all clues we may be off to the races!
276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 26, 2024, 10:00:06 PM
Can't believe I sold my holdings around $17K Dec 2022.

I can't believe I bought much of my holdings around $17k in late 2022! Thank you for that, by the way.  Grin

Friends, would you like to have another weekly competition?

Let's say predicting the price of Bitcoin.

Sure! Who doesn't love a good competition? Especially if it's free to participate. Wink

Predicting the price of Bitcoin is always a fun challenge! I'm in.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of money you've ever bet in a single game? on: February 24, 2024, 07:45:07 PM
So, what about you?

I like to think of myself as more of a calculated risk-taker rather than a reckless gambler.  I'm no high roller by any means.  The biggest bet I've ever made was just 50 bucks on some random parlay I took a chance on.  I couldn't believe it when the thing actually hit and paid out big time! I mean sure, losing 50 dollars wouldnt exactly ruin me financially or anything, but it still felt good.  I'm into placing strategic wagers here and there, not wildly chasing ridiculous pipe dreams that are never gonna pan out in reality.

<...>

do you guys think final designs come over night? to count to 10 you need to go through all the other numbers.
thanks for the input. it will get there.

Of course no... I get that making something visually appealing and attractive is a painstaking process.  It's a real craft and  I can only spot good design, but actually doing it myself - yeah, no.  Mad props to people who have that talent.

Anyway, figured we could kick around some concepts off the cuff.  Who knows! Might spark some thoughts.   Wink

By the way, I believe bcgame should look at his history since he already complained of being a chronic gambler and wants self exclusion in a different site - bcgame should also grant him that wish in their site also after this case has been resolved completely.

Yeah, seems like this dude's got some issues with gambling.  Keeps making complaints all over the place against these casino sites and sportsbooks.  Pretty clear he's just one of those problem gamblers who can't control himself.

He even admitted hes an addict! So in a way if the casino's actually close his account and  ban him it will be for his own good before he loses too much.  Sucks for him but better than letting him keep making bad bets until he's got nothing left.

I suffer from Gambling addiction and I requested my Cloudbet account to be Permanently Closed.

I suffer from Gambling addiction. I'm trying to get some help for it, but it is my health condition.

He even  admitted to having multiple accounts all over the place. Then he plays dumb and self-excludes on one account, but guess what? He's already got another one ready to roll. Loses, cries to customer support about his "self-exclusion," and tries to get his money back.
