261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money from bank hacks rarely gets laundered through cryptocurrencies on: October 05, 2020, 07:36:30 PM
I think that there are no exact numbers of money laundering through cryptocurrencies. It's not easy to trace all such transactions and proof they are connected with money laundering. This is much easier with fiat currency although I think such problem exists and that is why crypto still has bad reputation.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 04, 2020, 12:26:30 PM
I would say this is very rare but it happens. Small bet and big winning, you had a big luck but that is what is gambling all about. Although you can't count this will happen very often I think your experience will encourage other gamblers and give them hope and further motive to continue to gamble.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: will early sellers buy back in eventually? Will lambo buyers trade the lambo4btc on: October 03, 2020, 07:55:49 PM
Every person has its own reasons why to sell or to hold so it's hard to tell what one might do. I guess that everything depends on movements of market and what are the motives of each investor but I think there are always ones who change their minds for the good reason.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: October 03, 2020, 05:59:06 PM
Each person's mastery to capture is different. Bitcoin is difficult for some and it is very easy for others. The more time it takes to get to know Bitcoin, the easier it will be for him. So we should give time to bitcoin.

Actually any one can study btc with interest or focused  because I do actualised, yeah it's obvious that btc can be difficult to someone to understand and also easier to any other person to understand based on individuals difference, from my perspective l realized that not everyone that have the momentum or the ability to study btc, its based on attention and also interest of user

Yes, it's based on interest but it also depends on some basic knowledge about technologies that one has or doesn't have. To be able to understand it easily it would be necessary to know some facts about information technologies and internet. It's also important to find some reliable source that explains Bitcoin on clear and easy to understand way without to much complicated expert words.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 02, 2020, 05:00:05 PM
Therefore, the Bitcointalk forum is very reliable to get reviews about gambling sites, so if there is a new gambling
site, I choose to wait for other people to try it first. That way I can get reviews of the new gambling site. Actually I prefer to play online gambling
at an old casino which already has a good reputation.

That's correct, we are in the forum so we should seek some feedback in the forum. Honestly, I don't gamble on gambling sites that has no Announcement thread in the forum because as per experience, sites with ANN thread here are more reputable especially for those who have active promotions and they are active on their ANN thread.

The owners of gambling sites are also aware of that. They know this is very respectable and influential forum so if they have good reviews here, it's very likely that they will attract gamblers to play with them. So, before you choose gambling site it's always good to check here, this is a good source of information.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If all BTC Gets Bought Up? on: October 01, 2020, 05:49:21 PM
This is just a theory, a hypothesis that it's not possible in reality. There is no way for someone to buy all Bitcoins, some offers for selling will always be present, demand and supply that is the law of market. I can't see the reason to worry about something that it's not likely to happen at all.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: September 30, 2020, 07:52:12 PM
Certain number of people is not much burdened with legality and legitimacy. If they like slot machines and they have it in some bar they like to go, they will play it. I doubt that they will try to find out if machine is legal or not. The same thing is will illegal gambling sites.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For the record, the last time we had a presidential debate, the price of bitcoin on: September 30, 2020, 04:05:02 PM
There is no link between Bitcoin price and presidential debate. In general I don't think there is connection between Bitcoin and politics so there is no use in trying to establish connection or making some predictions.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security of multisig vs regular wallet on: September 29, 2020, 07:28:24 PM
Generally speaking multi sig will give you higher level of security but what will you choose depends on your needs. Very often users choose comfort and convenience rather than security but that might cost them a lot at the end. I think that level of of awareness about security is still not at the satisfying level.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 28, 2020, 08:05:18 PM
I think there is no universal answer. Everything depends on the estimation and your apetite for risk. If you feel more confident, especially if you have some good knowledge about certain sports you will probably gamble larger amount and somewhere where you more rely only on luck you will put more smaller sums. That is at least my experience.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Christmas on: September 28, 2020, 06:01:28 PM
The time is flying and here we go again, talking about Bitcoin and Christmas. Seems that some also expect that Santa will bring Bitcoin price pump as a present but I don't think this will happen this year.
Anyway, I think that Bitcoin is suitable present for someone who is already familiar with it and knows how to handle it. It's not good for your kids or grandparents.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason bitcoin price is not stable. on: September 27, 2020, 07:58:06 PM
Bitcoin price is volatile by nature and it's defined by market. Although some think that volatility can be controlled and that Bitcoin price can be stable one day I don't think that is possible. Besides, if there were no volatility how would traders and investors make money on Bitcoin price?
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Best trading platform is? on: September 27, 2020, 05:04:40 PM
My best trading platforms are Coinbase and Binance. I use them for a long time now and never had any issues, the are both user friendly. For me the most important things are that platforms are trustworthy and legitimate, that they have good customer service. There are many available trading platforms so everyone can choose what suits him the best
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 26, 2020, 09:26:43 PM
The only issue I can see with this is the possible effect of esports for minors to gamble. Most of the systems and gambling sites at this time have good regulation already to avoid this kind of scenario to happen. In addition, minors have their parents to remind and supervise them to avoid gambling.

Though, minors IMO even without gambling sites could already be expose to gambling through the game itself. Most of the games uses credits for skins and usually, good skins comes from the raffle. Thus, exposing them to implicit gambling already.

Yes, that is the possible issue but on the other hand I don't see why would e sports be a bigger threat to minors than the other types of gambling. Yes, it's hard to control them and today everything is available on much easier way to minors and children than it was to previous generations. That is why prevention is very important and how these children are raised. When something bad happened is very often too late to react.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: Sales of wedding rings are increasing on: September 26, 2020, 06:54:05 PM
Everything is changing very fast and that includes human relationships too. Times like this are especially challenging for many couples. Values are changing and people start to appreciate different things. In good and bad, that is what marriage is all about and if they can't handle the bad, it's better to go apart.
And if they have some expensive wedding rings to sell, why not, at least they'll have some use of them.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cycling Thread on: September 25, 2020, 06:04:32 PM
It was an interesting Tour De France this year with a surprising ending! I thought that Roglic would even win some time against Pogacar in the TT, but guess I was wrong  Grin.
Pogacar deserved the win, especially as his team was not able to really support him.

It was very interesting and very unpredictable. I like to bet on cycling and this Tour showed how exciting this can be although for some this is boring sport and I don't know many people who bet in cycling.
Pogacar made a kind of miracle and I don't think that anyone actually expected something like this to happen. Well done!
277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 25, 2020, 04:08:59 PM
At the moment I don't think that price is decreasing. It's fluctuating for a longer period of time but there are not bigger changes in the market or big dumps and I think the situation will stay more or less the same
Having in mind overall situation, not just in crypto market, investors are quite careful and therefore I don't expect anything dramatic to happen with Bitcoin price.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: September 24, 2020, 07:34:01 PM
If you are skilled and experienced enough Blockchain could be the good idea for successful business. Blockchain technology have been implemented in more and more areas and demand is high. Also, I don't think there are enough experts in the market so you have good opportunities, you just need to learn and get better and better all the time.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: September 23, 2020, 08:10:50 PM
^ No hate, but opening physical gambling to the public is something that I can't even tolerate on my mind. Look at the situation that we have right now. Losers from the Casino might not be able to accept what will possibly happen. It is also hard for the customer to be there because COVID19 is still active.
I know that they are just trying to survive their businesses. But it really is hard for that. Nevertheless, the adoption of the new normal will change a lot that people can go outside and go to casinos with proper protective gear.

I think such decision depends from country to country according to epidemic situation and there is no universal receipe. I don't know what is current situation in Miami but despite concern for health life must go on.
In my country everything is opened, including casinos, with obligation to obey epidemic recommendations and rules. I don't know if there is any country in the world whose economy could survive another lock down.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 22, 2020, 07:37:04 PM
Game of skills is a lot fun compared to game of chance for me. If I'm good at it I have the edge of winning rather than depending on your luck on game of chance type of gambling game. Winning is a little bit on your side in skill based games and you can totally earn money if you play consistently unlike in traditional gambling games where you can screw up over and over and you cant do anything about if because its purely based on your luck.

Yes, that is exactly the reason why skill games are better than traditional gambling games. Thrill and the feeling that you have at least some control are the best part for me. Feeling hopless depending only on luck isn't very exciting and promising for me that is why I prefere skill games.
