261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 07, 2024, 08:28:08 AM
No doubt that among boxers AJ is more popular than Ngannou Cheesy But in general, for people who are just spectators, give them google and they would found that Ngannou is way better than AJ, because he knockout people cold.

Similar to what I have argued before, this certainly is because of Francis Ngannou's shocking performance against Tyson Fury who is a big name in boxing. Before this, no one has heard of Francis Ngannou's name or has cared for him being a champion in MMA. Also, another reason for this support might be because Ngannou is the underdog for this fight hehehe. The supporters also like Ngannou's story about being a poor child working in the sandmines where he developed a very strong warrior's body hehehe.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 07, 2024, 06:33:57 AM
Few days left for the fight guys, better get your popcorns and beverages ready on time.
If Ngannou manages to win in dominant fashion I expect to see boxing world changed forever, maybe they will start to respect MMA fighters a lot more.
I watched the faceoff and Ngannou looked cooler to me, but better watch press conference and judge for yourself: https://youtu.be/VJd7ey52ZaY

Odds on Sportsbet are very juicy on Ngannou, but I dont think this fight is going long distance:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/boxing/international/international-matchups/joshua-anthony-v-ngannou-francis-65988f077c9c2400015fdb47

Are you predicting that Ngannou will knockout Joshua? I reckon Anthony Joshua cannot knockout Ngannou heheheheeh.

@TopTort777. I disagree, Anthony Joshua is also very famous and more famous for boxing fans. This support is certainly because of Francis Ngannou's very shocking performance vs. Tyson Fury. These many fans have supported and predicted that Fury will win very quickly, however, we have witnessed something very different. Tyson Fury was the winner but it was considered an upset for the fans of Fury. Presently it appears that Ngannou is the underdog story in boxing where the many will easily support.

Russell Wilson may have just pulled off one of the greatest contract finesses of sports history. He’s been released by the Broncos now and will get another $85,000,000 for doing absolutely nothing. If I were him I would just disappear and enjoy retirement. Although I’m sure there will be pressure for him to try and find a new team.
However, will part of this $85,000,000 will be paid by his next team? I am not quite certain why the Broncos would pay him that much money from their own pocket for him to leave. The Las Vegas Raiders might be a good team for him, I reckon. They certainly need someone better than Jimmy Garoppolo hehehe. They also have the money to pay for his salary and they are 13th in the first round of the draft. They might not get a good quarterback.
Seems the Broncos will have a dead money hit on Wilson's departure to clean up.
",, his release will result in a financial loss to the team as they will incur an $85 million hit in dead money over the next two seasons."
source: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/broncos-cut-russell-wilson-incur-85m-dead-money-hit/ar-BB1jnuTJ?ocid=winp2fptaskbar&cvid=f6752c437ecf46c2bf14c932e54533c1&ei=11

This was going to happen since they sat him out for the last two games of the season. The injury to his hand and the recovery time didn't help his situation.

There are some noteworthy quarterback names being released on free agency on the off-season the Broncos can consider: Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Gardner Minshew will all likely be too expensive but Kirk Cousins might take a paycut if the right team is offered.

This is a very headshaking situation for the Broncos and they also have limited draft capital on April according to some articles. They have 6 picks with only 2 on the beginning of the draft. They also do not have a pick on second round.

I speculate that Javonte Williams might be a good player as a second running back for our fantasy league next season hehehe. Broncos will not be very good in throwing the ball.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 07, 2024, 04:16:51 AM
        -     Honestly, I have no idea what will happen in the election that is coming this summer in our country, the US. I'm just not sure if Trump will run again for the presidency. Will he run again to fight Biden again?

And in the event that the two of them compete again, he will lose, so this time Biden will lose. Because, as far as I know, it seems like there was a cheat on the number; I just don't know if it's true. Maybe the other gamblers will have a bet again in that matter of the election in the US.

I know what will happen hehehe. Trump will win with the largest landslide differences between candidates recorded in America. Is this because Trump is a good politician? This will certainly not be the reason. Trump is corrupt human being similar to 99% of these politicians. However, the reason that Trump will win with the largest landslide victory is because of how badly this Biden administration and the democrats have been running their country.

California may have a deficit of over $72 billion, but that won’t keep the Golden State from shelling out millions more in housing assistance to illegal aliens. Assembly Bill (AB) 1840, introduced by Assemblyman Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno), aims to expand eligibility for the state’s affordable housing loan program, giving taxpayer dollars to illegal aliens to help them put a down payment on a home.

266  Bitcoin / Legal / Montenegro Court Halts Extradition of Terra’s Do Kwon to the US on: March 06, 2024, 05:29:30 AM
I am quite confused on this. If anyone can help me understand what Do Kwon wants, please share your explanation.

Do Kwon wants to be extradited to America, however, the government of Montenegro does not want him to be extradited? This is very head scratching unless Do Kwon is very uncomfortable in his prison cell on Montenegro and he might be speculating that the prison cell in America would be more comfortable hehehe.

In any case, his crime is not similar to a heinous crime. I reckon he deserves a comfortable room hehehe.

In a pivotal legal reversal, Montenegro’s Court of Appeals has annulled the extradition of Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon to the United States, siding with his defense’s appeal and invalidating a prior High Court ruling from Feb. 20.

This latest court decision underscores the case’s procedural flaws, especially the absence of clear rationale and factual clarity in the High Court’s extradition order, demanding a retrial. “The Appeals Court of Montenegro, after the council session on March 5, 2024, issued a decision that accepted the appeal of the defendant Kwon Do Hyeong’s defense, annulled the decision of the Higher Court in Podgorica No. 146/24,” the statement notes.

Following a series of appeals by Do Kwon against extradition decisions favoring the U.S. and South Korea, the document notes that the Montenegro Appeals Court identified significant procedural breaches in the handling of extradition requests.

267  Economy / Service Discussion / Uncle Gary and the SEC will never stop? Cease and desist against Shapeshift on: March 06, 2024, 03:38:44 AM
It appears that after Ripple's victory against the SEC, uncle Gary has not stopped his policy of regulation through enforcement. However, it also appears that he is charging small settlement amounts only hehe. Uncle Gary might only presently want to win and collect his prize money because he has been on losing streak hehehehehee.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced Tuesday that it filed a cease-and-desist against cryptocurrency firm ShapeShift, alleging that it operated as an unregistered securities dealer.

“The crypto assets offered by ShapeShift included those that were offered and sold as investment contracts and, therefore, securities,” the SEC wrote in the Tuesday filing, citing a 1946 court case that brought forth the Howey test.

The agency said it has determined to accept an offer from ShapeShift to settle the charges by paying a civil penalty of $275,000, on top of the agreement to keep away from any future violations of the securities regulation, according to the filing.

Maybe he is just like Trump for betting on who will be the president in the 2024 election because it's almost clear now who will win. Michelle Obama or Nikki, I don't think they have a chance.

They are still up to file lawsuits against Trump which is also the reason why more people are realizing the Dem are fighting unfairly against him. It is even the reason why Truckers rallied for him when he was asked to pay on time.

Also, election only are something similar to a popularity contest. This is a beauty pageant on who the people would like to vote on a certain time. The qualifications are unimportant for much of the voters hehehe. Why do always we have stupid leaders? Ask yourself this and do not blame the politician for causing your cou try to be in a much worse situation. You should blame these people who voted for the leader hehehehe.

In any case, if there is a trumpcoin and a bidencoin created which of these would pump and which would dump? This would prove who is more popular. This also is something similar to a bet.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 05, 2024, 04:57:00 AM
@notblox1. Agreed. Uncle Dana should exchange the main event for UFC 300 and UFC 299 hehehe. Sean O'Malley is being hyped to be the next Conor McGregor. He also has a handsome face, colorful hair and wears dark sunglasses in dark rooms very much similar to El Cucuy heheheheh. However, this hype on him might be the reason for why his the favorite. Maron Vera might be underestimated for this fight. I reckon Suga Sean might have difficulties to get the knockout. My prediction, Maron Vera will win with a submission.

..snip
Are you really saying this so easily or is it just me?
In my opinion, CZ has already paid a very high price and his fate has not yet been decided.
There is no point in putting CZ in jail if he paid a large fine and signed all the agreements with the US government.

I was only speculating and I speculate that CZ's payment in exchange for a short time in prison for some charges but no charges of being a terrorist might have been part of the deal in the settlement. Also, you tell me that I can say this easily, however, you say that the American government would easily make CZ a terrorist without due process. I reckon it would be more difficult for CZ and the government if they went to court for this.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 05, 2024, 03:12:23 AM
These 7 voters who have voted that there will certainly be a reversal, what are the reasons? It would be very headshaking if they are voting without enough information because according to some people in social media, Coinbase is leading the pump on buying bitcoin on the prices more of than $60k. If this is Blackrock's twaps again, this pump will certainly continue higher.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Attack on Bitcoin’ Claims Circulate as Transaction Fees Climb Higher on: March 05, 2024, 02:25:59 AM
It appears that the conscripts are again back hehehe. I have also read some information being shared in social media saying that there are some developers who want to bring the Ethereum virtual machine to Bitcoin and use this for settlement. This will be very head shaking if EVM on Bitcoin will become a popular alternative for Ethereum because EVM users are very much okay on paying very high fees.

Demand for NFTs has been growing in recent weeks amid rising cryptocurrency prices, and Monday’s $16 million sale of a CryptoPunk—the fifth-most expensive NFT sale to date—put an exclamation point on that trend.

But the top overall NFT marketplace over the last few days isn’t the same one that ruled the pile as recently as mid-February, as the tides of the marketplace wars have shifted yet again. And the latest startup to take the throne can credit Bitcoin Ordinals for much of that shake-up.

273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈 The United Football League (UFL) 2024 Thread 🏈 on: March 04, 2024, 03:27:59 AM
The decision to start the season so late is interesting, last year the XFL started right away after the SB, I suppose the thinking behind it is that not only the organizers want to give some time to the fans to calm down and crave more football action, but also they want fans to forget a little bit about what they watched on the SB and the playoffs as a way to avoid a stark contrast between the NFL and UFL, a comparison the NFL would win for sure.

It might also be because of the season. February is still cold in some of these locations in America and this might not be encouraging for fans to get out of their houses to watch a smaller football league. It will also be spring time by the end of March and it is also an Easter weekend! I reckon everyone might want to get together and watch something on tv with the family. It will be the UFL heheehehe.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 04, 2024, 02:00:41 AM
The fight promo trailer is epic, it looks like a movie.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOHS1ajTmdA

I’m expecting AJ should have an easier time than Fury did against Ngannou. I’m expecting a knockout from AJ in this fight.
I click the link but the video no longer exist, but I search again and I found this one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MhhsTcKg34

nice trailer, this started with Francis vs Fury and they never failed to amazed us, whoever is making this, it's a good way for marketing purposes.
Great job!

Ngannou I think is the strongest puncher that AJ will encounter, I doubt this will end in a Draw but if the fight result is a draw, I would really think Sky Sports posted this video as a message and it can only mean one thing, it's rigged.

It will be the strongest if Ngannou is able to hit Joshua. AJ knows that if he gets hit, he might not be able to stand up, so it's foolish of him to let that happen. What I see here is that AJ will use his boxing skills, probably his quickness against Ngannou, and will tire him out throughout the entire rounds. AJ also has a high KO rate, but he can't take chances trying to look for a knockout, as there's a risk he will be caught with Ngannou's counter.

Ngannou's fight vs Fury was impressive, but the latter said he didn't prepare for the fight properly. So AJ surely will not say the same since he is up for ranking, so he'll give his 100% to get an impressive win.

Ruiz made him so underdog and you can compare how Ngannou can easily knock Ruiz down with one hit on the head no sweat. Ngannou is a better fighter and stronger fighter than Ruiz.

The odds however is just not making sense.
AJ 1.22 vs NGannou 4.00

FYI, AJ was listed as favorites on their 2 fights. First fight Ruiz upset AJ but on the 2nd fight he beat AJ.
You can check that on his record https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659461

Regarding the odds, there's nothing wrong with that IMO .However if you feel that NGannou is underestimated with 4.00 odds, might as well take it and bet.

Agreed! The gamblers who want to bet on Francis Ngannou should be very happy to receive 4.00 odds from the oddsmakers. However, I also agree that Ngannou might be very underestimated for this fight. On Fury vs. Ngannou, I said Fury would put Ngannou on a stretcher and the stretcher will be pulled by Mike Tyson out of the ring. But after witnessing Ngannou's performance against Fury, it was a mistake to underestimate him and what are the oddsmakers doing on Ngannou again? Yes, they are underestimating him hehehehee. I reckon Joshua will not stand up if Ngannou connects.
275  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: March 03, 2024, 03:45:11 AM
Several months after the KYC verification deadline that was stated in their documents, I received yet another similar email demanding that I complete my verification to be able to file for the claim. I still don't understand why they still ask for KYC even when the deadline has passed. Who else who had an account with FTX recently received a similar email

Did you submit everything on the first email? This might be a verification of the first email verfication very much similar to Justin Sun's announcement of an announcement hehehe. I will also check if I have received emails from FTX. I have not logged in to that email since the bankruptcy and I did not concern myself because all of my cryptocoins deposited in FTX I lost in holding 3x leveraged tokens hehehehee. This was a very bad decision.

2) Have you noticed Mark Zuckerberg in Alex Volkanovski corner on UFC 298? And his performance before the fight? (https://www.marca.com/en/ufc/2024/02/18/65d2701522601d41128b4582.html)

Judging from his face I think he might have lost a lot of betting for Alexander Volkanovski I don't know about you guys but I think that this is the face of misery just on my part what about you guys?

I speculate that his pale face with the robotic expression appears to be a person under the reverse aging diet created by Bryan Johnson the founder Braintree. This diet is called project blueprint where the person hacks his body through a strict diet and regular exercise. Bryan Johnson has also developed a pale face with robotic expression very much similar to the Star Trek character called the Data.

However, what if Zuck has already developed a human android robot and created one in his image? This is him with Bill Gates and a woman.

277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 03, 2024, 02:30:04 AM
They bet for Trump but still believe Trumps a dick.

He still makes money out of Trump that's the best part. But I'm not sure what he meant by the election being rigged. If everyone knew this information, Trump wouldn't be running anymore. The world seems to be against him before he decides to run again yet he still runs. The odds are favoring Biden in the beginning, I think he would have kept his peace if he knew the election is always rigged.

They bet on Trump because he will win. Trump also being a dick, however, why is he leading the surveys? What occurrences have caused this? It caused by the corruption and incompetency of the Democrats and the people are presently supporting another corrupt and incompetent candidate.

Also, the elections being always rigged, I disagree. There is always an attempt on manipulating the result of an election, however, if there is a candiate who is popular enough, manipulating it would be very difficult. Trump 2024 is this type of candidate.
278  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tether Cryptocurrency Becoming ‘Preferred Choice’ Among Money Launderers on: March 03, 2024, 01:37:20 AM
@zasad@. If the information is true and if proven that CZ knows this or if he is directly involved on these occurrences on Binance then he can be sentenced for assisting terrorist groups on moving funds. However, the argument I was making is different. I am arguing more about the stablecoins being illegaly used for crime and terrorism or if an exchange CEO can be charged for terrorism if he has no knowledge of these occurrences.

Will Tether and Circle be complicit if terrorists uses USDT and USDC to move their money? Would it make the issuer of the dollar complicit if they used American dollars? Will Apple be complicit if they used iphones for terrorism?
I have already said that you and I think differently. You are right that in order to charge CZ it will be necessary to prove that he knew that his exchange was being used for illegal purposes.

I give a past famous example of SBF and Caroline Ellison
Quote
Caroline Ellison, the 28-year-old star witness in one of the most closely watched fraud trials in US history, took the stand Tuesday to testify against her former business partner and sometimes-boyfriend Sam Bankman-Fried.
https://edition.cnn.com/2023/10/10/business/caroline-ellison-testimony-preview/index.html
Look how quickly concepts are replaced, not a fraudster but a star witness Grin

Now back to the harsh reality in which CZ and his team broke a lot of laws. So, for the prosecution, you need to find several weak links in his team, who will become a star witness instead of the accused and will not be prosecuted.
And these star witnesses will tell everything the prosecutors need, including that CZ knew that he was providing services to terrorist organizations.

It appears that we are arguing about different situations. If the American government will use everything in their playbook to make anyone a terrorist, a rapist, a thief or any type of criminal then I agree with the argument.

However, on the present situation on the case against CZ, I reckon it has been settled already. He will pay the American government $4 billion and resign as CEO. His sentence might be a few years in prison without any charges of being a terrorist. This decision has also caused the American government to stop cracking down on Binance.

279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 02, 2024, 08:16:08 AM
^^David Benavidez has move on from chasing Canelo at least for this May or this year. He decided to move up in Light Heavyweight and I think it's a good decision. He is tall and even at 175 lbs, I think he will still be as fast and a more heavier fighter.

And obviously, if he wins this fight, he will be facing the winner of the Beterbiev vs Bivol fight.

So after that unification fight, either one of them will have to face the Mexican Monster next. And Benavidez can go back to 168 lbs if he wants to so he is still open for a Canelo fight, but the decision is beyond his control. WBC PBC can't force Canelo right now to fight him. Obviously, he is out of PBC by now and be fighting a lesser opponent next in Berlanga.

Benavidez will have a better legacy if he beats the winner of Bivol and Beterbiev. Canelo, although not yet at retirement age, seems like he is looking for a safer fight, probably doesn't want to experience his loss against Bivol anymore. That's why boxers like him can't be considered as great like Manny, who despite his age, still chooses the best and is not afraid to fight. Well, good luck to Benavidez in case he faces the winner of the Bivol vs Beterbiev fight. I'm sure it would be the toughest fight of his career, especially if he's up against Beterbiev.

On David Benavidez, I very much agree and it will not be very shocking if this was his real roadmap to have a fight against Canelo. I wish it will be Bivol who gets the victory on his next fight then it will be Bivol vs. Benvidez and I also wish the victory will go to Benavidez. This will be a checkmate on Canelo. I speculate the reason why he will not fight the greatest challengers in super middleweight is because he is saving everything for a rematch vs. Bivol.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: March 02, 2024, 07:28:39 AM
If Tank's mission for his career is to preserve his unbeaten record then I reckon that he is only in this sport to make some money for retirement. He has the talent to create a legacy, however, his motivation will stop from doing this. There are only very few fighters who will take risks to become the greatest. Pacman in boxing and Khabib in MMA are certainly my favorite choices.

Everyone though is here for the business of making big money until they retired. Floyd has set that precedent already, there could be some who chases for legacy, but majority including Tank Davis wanted to be the next Floyd. But it's hard to blame them, they can just give us the reasons that they put their lives on the line when they fight and so they deserved to be paid more.

I do agree, Pacman's mindset is different, that's why he achieved greatness even though he has a lot of lost in his record. Khabib retired undefeated, but it's more on his mentality as his father died and he can go thru MMA without his father in his corner.

Hopefully though, we can see Tank stepping his game and fighting the champion in 135 lbs like Shakur Stevenson and the winner here.

There is also Lomachenko after he gets the victory vs. George Kambosos and a rematch vs. Pitbull Cruz. After this, I reckon his body is big enough already to fight in super lightweight and fight Teo Lopez, Devin Haney. The promoters and the boxing organizations should also encourage this to keep this sport alive because boxing is almost dead.

The present situation in boxing is what we are given because everything is about money and not anymore the best boxers fighting vs. the best boxers. They are killing this sport!
