261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Bitspincasino scam? on: October 30, 2023, 08:47:32 AM
So how many hours has passed since your first withdrawal request? How spins have made? And how much does you withdraw.?

Depositing and spin a few then withdraw will always trigger the casino's system for AML purposes since making a casino as a crypto mixer is a common thing. I'm not talking that it's that your intention it just that they are being wary. But if the withdrawal request takes longer to days already then there's something wrong with them try to follow up.
Regards to OP's post it's probably 1 or 2 days already but given that OP hasn't replied yet, the issue's probably resolved or this is a troll that just wants to generate topics for the people to talk about and just leave it there. I didn't know the part where they use casinos like a mixer to clean dirty money, I just thought that they just withdraw and then just deposit it as if they've played, didn't know they have to play it everytime they deposit to launder.
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long to learn trading? on: October 30, 2023, 07:21:14 AM
That's the neat trick OP, the learning doesn't stop. You will always learn something new and that's the best thing, there's constant change which could be better or worse depending on how you see it but learning doesn't stop no matter what discipline it is, and in the case of trading, it's going to be an exciting thing to learn because you're going to be learning while gaining experience unlike in some discipline where theory and practice are not learned together, in trading you can tackle both which is good. But to be able to trade by yourself efficiently and with some competence, a year's worth of experience and learning is the max in my opinion.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A more scientific mindset is necessary to avoid scams. on: October 30, 2023, 06:14:02 AM
Just use the word logical, it's more fitting because if we are talking about scientific, that means that you're going to be using the scientific method which is finding evidences and testing your hypothesis which in the case of scams, it's not going to be really a good thing. Just use your common sense to identify scams or just avoid being a victim of one, what I mean by using your common sense, if something or someone offers you something that's too good to be true, it probably ain't true.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: October 29, 2023, 05:17:46 AM
In my experience whenever you see Litecoin pumping it means the top is in the crypto market. I noticed this a few years back.

I think the way it works is bitcoin tops and the money flows into alts like Litecoin, then Litecoin pumps and usually it tops and the whales get into stables or fiat and it’s the top of the cycle.

So you don’t want Litecoin Pumping right now.
Isn't what you described called the Altcoin season? When bitcoin finally hits the peak and everyone has finally taken their profit they go for altcoin to increase their profit by buying altcoins, isn't that how the altcoin season starts? I haven't been buying any altcoin in a long time, had my share of failures with bad altcoins that I just want to secure the long-term with bitcoin.

I spoke too soon with that Doom Pick, Team Spirit taught LGD how to play the aggressive way in Game 2 with that Yatoro Morphling pick and Collapse Chaos Knight pick. Knew that there's something wrong when at the 31 minute mark, the Networth is dominated by Morphling and the Spectre that was supposed to be fighting that Morphling is at the 4th place. Congratulations to Team Spirit though for securing the Grand Finals, if they continue this momentum we're definitely going to see Team Spirit taking the Aegis of Champions.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: October 29, 2023, 03:02:03 AM
3rd Dota bet for today:

Team Spirit vs LGD Gaming: LGD Gaming ML, 2.35 @ Leetbit.io
Two best teams of the playoff upper bracket battling it out. China vs CIS. Team Spirit is the only team with all wins in the tournament, even not a single draw. On the other side, LGD has a draw vs VirtusPro. Spirit are huge favorite, but if there is some team that can take a win out of Spirit is LGD. LGD +1.5 handicap is a good bet here if you manage to find good odds here, but I will risk it here. I believe the Chinese can surprise bookies and take a win here. Odds are crazy, so I'm going with this value bet, even tho Spirit are playing in their life form, once again. However, LGD will be the scariest opponent yet for them. 60-40 for Spirit at this point. Make your choice. Over 2.5 or LGD +1.5 handicap are the other 2 bets, if you don't want to risk so much.
Team Spirit took the Gane 1 and it was a game that anyone could've won but Collapse's Magnus is just too strong for the late stages of the game, that Harpoon Skewer combo combined with the long range upgrade of Magnus was the Team Spirit's saving grace in the later team fights, LGD's Grimstroke was so strong, that Soul Bind Dark Portrait combo was a threat to be reckoned with and TS was able to do it in the end. Purge's analysis about the Game 1 was on point, LGD should've considered picking an aggressive line up that can also push towers. 2nd game, they took away Magnus from Collapse, let's see if LGD can get the win in Game 2.

Edit: Just saw that LGD picked Doom, there's a high possibility they can get this win with that hero, especially if Doom gets that Aghanim's upgrade on his ultimate.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking back at the past, one of those statements gained respect over time. on: October 29, 2023, 02:21:09 AM
I have no regrets about my delayed investment in Bitcoin. There were several reasons why I initially missed the opportunity: my skepticism towards online investments, a lack of readiness to comprehend or learn, and no one to guide me. Despite these reasons, I stand today as a testament to Bitcoin's true potential.Bitcoin has the power to unlock more than it was created to do. I don't think anyone should be regretting why they didn't invest in Bitcoin now because it still isn't too late. You can start now any still enjoy what it entails.
For me, it's being a kid and being broke that I wasn't able to invest in bitcoin, the moment that I've learned about bitcoin watching YouTube videos about it, I wanted to get my hands on one but being a dumbass, I didn't try to learn more like how to make your own wallet or how to buy one. I guess my only regret was that I was too immature to actually buy bitcoin when I wanted to have one at that time but this is no time to dwell on that regret, I've got my bitcoin now and that's good for me now.
268  Other / Meta / Re: How to write a Ban Appeal. on: October 29, 2023, 01:30:28 AM
~
Not being long here but I feel you actually speak the truth in some way because during my short stay here I actually haven't seen any account get unbanned, instead of that, the user only faced more punishment through the appeal written because the appeal actually gives right for other members here to actually dig more dirty shit that the account has been involved in that's if the account is also involved in cheating like having a alt and using it against the rules if forum. But what you said it's actually kinda reasonable because even if you are pardon you will still be the one to bear the scar inflicted through the crimes committed.
Exactly, the users in this forum are so protective and reactive of people that's trying to appeal their ban by tagging their alt account that's trying for an appeal with ban evasion, in short they really don't want a lot of people in this forum, they want to make sure that the only people left here are those that they feel like deserve to be here or their friends. I guess we just have to avoid being banned so we don't have to worry about this useless advice of how appeal your ban.
269  Other / Meta / Re: Services board is very hard to browse on: October 28, 2023, 09:54:18 PM
While reading the post, I said to myself that this is dumb and a bad idea but then I went to the Services board and saw that yes, it's not a dumb or a bad idea after all to have a dedicated sub board for Campaigns but then again, I've seen another problem, it's the people that are using the Services board wrong, there's a lot of people there that don't know how to properly post to attract users to their post or some just spams and acts as if they didn't do anything wrong. I would like to add that if the campaigns will have their separate board, hopefully that in the Services board, there should be a pinned message that says what exactly you need to do like the proper formats for hiring a service and selling your service to someone so that way, there's some form of uniformity.
270  Other / Meta / Re: How to write a Ban Appeal. on: October 28, 2023, 09:15:30 PM
I won't consider myself an expert, but I think the major reason for an appeal of banned account not being been granted is actually because of the severity to which the account was actually banned.
I don't know if you can also count this as a reason but I'll just say it: You're better off just being banned and not returning to the forum because even if you come, the other forum users will never forget your sins you know, like having a tainted account,, you won't ever be able to use it as normally you could've plus a lot of the users in the forum has probably said their piece on why they hate you and why you deserve a ban so yeah, better off not appealing. I want to see people use this format though, and see if it works plus are the other users even ready to forgive someone that's successfully appealed their ban because the way I see, everyone here is pretty harsh on people who commit wrongdoings here as if they're a saint.
271  Other / Archival / Re: Self moderated topics should not be allowed in reputation board! on: October 28, 2023, 03:55:40 PM
When a gang creates such topics, they would discuss, judge, execute, they also act as jury , they would delete whatever they don't like.
I understand the sentiment that these can be sometimes the case but if you ask me, their gang really can't do anything but discredit the person that they're talking about and if you're the bigger person in the interaction, wouldn't you try and fight them? People who do this anyway are the kind that can't form any real interaction. The big guy move that you can do is probably just ignore that discussion.
I agree with this; it would look better if it's not self-moderated. If there's a post or reply that doesn't seem appropriate, it should be reported to the moderators, and they can review whether it should be removed or not. It would be biased if the reporter had control over the replies or feedback of other members who are involved in the complaint or defense. If all sides and opinions are heard, there's the fact-checking and providing of proof to support and verify the claims.
I think that there shouldn't be any changes in the status quo with the self-moderated topics in Reputation because if we don't allow it anymore there, we're definitely opening a Pandora's Box which I don't think that people that's been in this forum for awhile would like a changes regarding where they can have a self-moderated topic, if we're to allow it, what's stopping us from stopping even bigger things?
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 27, 2023, 12:23:25 PM

Agree with this mate Suns have the momentum in the 1st, second and third quarter  but they didn't handle it carefully and we all know what are the capability of Lakers they have a good shooters and and by the help of teamworks  in fourth quarter they will ahead on it and in the end Lakers is the winner. Durant is doing great as well as his teamates but the main problem to them is they didn't double thier effort during the last quarter which is pretty bad outcome that they will loss.
Nah, I wouldn't say that they didn't give their best in this game, if you look at the difference it's only 5 points which meant that they're doing the best that they can it's just that Lakers have exerted more effort although I would say a little bit more than the Suns, you've said it already, they have the momentum all throughout the game but the Lakers knows that they can still get the win if they manage their players properly, which they did and I know this because of Durant's statement in my previous post.
~
In this game, the Lakers pulled off a successful comeback, and it's reminiscent of their first game on the road against the defending champions. In that match, they were outscored in the early quarters but managed to stage a comeback, though they fell short against the home team. This time, they ensured victory with a big 4th quarter run.

Just take a look at the 4th quarter score: 11-28. In a single quarter, the Lakers outscored the Suns by a 17 points. I appreciate the mentality of this team, as they don't give up. Winning the 4th quarter in most games truly demonstrates their discipline as a team. The highlight of the game has to be the Lakers' excellent defense in the 4th quarter.
I guess the Lakers have learned their lesson from that game, besides the mentality, I think that the fact that Suns don't have a perfect roster due to Booker and Beal's absence due to injury contributed to that plus Lakers got more players that were stronger and can last a long time. I can feel the pain of the people that has betted on Suns and seeing that it's slowly turning into a comeback.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 27, 2023, 07:18:05 AM
I thought the Suns had a good chance of winning that game, especially with their strong start. That 4th quarter run by the Lakers was the turning point. For gamblers who bet on the Lakers, the lack of effort to cover the spread can be frustrating. On the flip side, if you were betting against the Lakers, it must have felt like a winning streak as the Lakers struggled in the first 3 quarters to take the lead.
The Suns being strong early might've been the reason they're having that problem, kind of like those early sprinters on a marathon, they're likely not finish first. If they could've kept a good pace or Booker or Beal uninjured, they could've made a difference, Durant has to work harder than usual. It was a close game but Lakers did gave a bit more effort than Suns. Pretty nice of Durant to compliment James on hiswork in the court.

"He was pretty much coaching the team on how to guard certain actions. That's what he's been doing his whole career."
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: October 27, 2023, 05:49:28 AM
Anyone got their picks this Saturday for the International 2023? Team Spirit vs Team Liquid, I feel that Team Spirit has a pretty good line up compared to Team Liquid, and I know I haven't been following a lot in the DOTA2 scene so I am flabbergasted by the current Team Liquid's line up, how did they became a European team? And when? Weren't they an NA organization? On the LGD Gaming vs Azure Ray, I would go for Azure Ray basing on their line up, they've been teammates for a long time so I assume their synergy compared to LGD would be the key difference.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 27, 2023, 03:05:42 AM
I also feel sorry for the lady but life goes on. If she called off the wedding, life goes on.

But I want to ask a question. The lady only called off the wedding and continue with the man or she also broke up with the man? The finance may not be a gambler but just want to try his luck, but that is stupidity.

I have seen something like this before but I did not know who contributed the money. Men like some risky. Some of them were luck but some were not lucky.
These kind of men aren't just risky but also plain stupid, it's your money for the wedding and I don't think that there's anything you can spend it on besides the wedding itself. One thing that's clear here is that the woman has dodged a bullet if she did called off the wedding and broke up with the guy because there's no bigger sin than destroying what the love of your life has been dreaming of which for most women is a grandiose wedding. This is such a disaster for both the couple and the people involved in the wedding, definitely a story worth sharing to other people about the dangers of gambling.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: October 27, 2023, 02:05:00 AM
There's a study about this phenomenon already and if I recall the gist of this study, our brain perceives the loss of physical cash as a physical loss of property so we tend to be conscious about how we spend our money if it's cold hard cash but if we use a credit card, we don't feel the same thing because we get our card back and so there really was no loss happening. I don't have the study to back it up although I would probably go back to provide it. And with my recollection, we can conclude why credit is fueling our gambling addiction because we don't see any loss since you swipe it and you got the chips or whatever it is, you don't see it unless you finally check your spending or your bank talks to you about your credit being maxed out.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: October 27, 2023, 01:23:13 AM
The current ChatGPT version only has 2022 data iirc so you're better off using Bard AI if you want to test out an AI's prediction on sports, Bard's still in experimental stage so tread lightly when you plan to use it for real.

OMG, you are right! I just checked and indeed Bard's knowledge is up to date:

I didn't know that, thank you! Have you tried to use Bard for predicting outcomes?
The only time that I've used Bard is for my work related stuff, creating Excel spreadsheets which is time consuming for me although it's very easy if you just know the ways to create the prompt. It's probably up to date because it's still on experimental stage so they want to feed Bard as much information as they can and probably make it a pay to use AI in the next year or two, for now it's a useful tool since you can get up to date information.
Regarding the morality of using AI for sportsbetting I think that it's not a bad idea to use them especially if it helps you put in perspective on the teams you want to bet on but using AI to bet blindly, I think it's stupid.

There's nothing immoral in using AI for sportsbetting. Unless it's forbidden by the site, you are good to go. But I undeerstand why the question arises. Anything new encounters suspicion and hostility at first. Like using zippers instead of buttons was considered "infernal" by some.
That's what I've said which I'm happy that you've agreed, although I frown upon the fact that betting sites would ban you if they ever suspect that you're using AI which is kind of stupid I guess because at most, the AI is pretty much just spouting common sense and you just want an affirmation so you can feel secure of your bet.

You've found something big. Blackjack, poker? Yes, yes! Games are not just games; they demonstrate ability, strategy, and brilliance. Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey? At the top! They know the game's art. It's about outsmarting, outplaying, and outlasting your opponents

The film 21? Absolutely amazing! They beat the system with their smarts. Amazing, very amazing. Bryan Cranston's film? What an idea! However, gambling is not for everyone. The world is hard. You must be smart, brave, and disciplined. Should you decide to buy, be sensible and savvy, and remember: the house has huge benefits
Dude, I don't know what you're on but your sarcasm isn't hitting it's marks, I feel bad for you or I'm wrong you just talk like that in real life. And now that I've look at it, your post don't have any substance, you just made my post shorter then added your take on why gambling isn't for everyone which I believe has been implied in my previous post.

Edit: the Bryan Cranston film I'm talking about is Jerry and Marge Go Large, you didn't even bother to do your research on that film, you just go with the generic response?
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a record of winnings and losses in gambling? on: October 26, 2023, 03:33:56 PM
~
Actually, it is difficult to record all bets unless you look at the betting history of the casino, if you want more details then also look at the deposits and withdrawals from the casino there are clearly visible rather than recording with other tools.
Not fun, but once you see all the notes made by yourself it can be stressful because you have seen a large amount so it's better to ignore it and practice gambling for fun by burning money there.
You're last statement proved my point, that it is stressful to find out how much you've spent or lost in your bettings or your gambling sprees, that's why I was asking what's the point of doing it when you know that it's not fun to do it. I suddenly remembered that phrase where the more you fuck around then the more you're going to find out which is definitely not fun especially if you're not ready to see how much is the total of your money you've lost compared to the total money you've won.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a record of winnings and losses in gambling? on: October 26, 2023, 02:23:20 PM
The only record I have is the one from the bet history, I feel like the recording of your wins and losses seems kind of weird to me because you're supposed to be having fun and keeping records seems kind of a serious business and I think takes out the fun in gambling. Also, what's the fun in that knowing that you're losing or winning?
