I don't know where you all are getting this "Elliot Wave confirmation of whatever" but the recent trend looks very similar to the one which brought us down to $455 on gox.

No one cares about Doge. The only time I ever hear about it is when someone on the forums feels compelled to paste it everywhere. Lets keep this thread dedicated to Bitcoin price, please. We are supposed to only post technical charts and discussion.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 20, 2014, 03:55:23 PM
Why are we talking about Doge on here?
264  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 20, 2014, 03:12:08 PM
Well You will be wrong On that Prediction

Since I know when the Next batch of Chips Will arrive, And the total Speed of that chip Batch :-)

But I will Let Ken Announce it

I am Under an agreement not to announce it

But to Prove I know it I will send it to Myself in a Email Which When it is announced I will Gladly Forword it so that it shows the Date and everything posted today
What do you mean... "Next batch"? Are you saying there have already been batches?

I miss volume Sad

Just need a couple of whales to set us on track to 1k!

Don't fool yourself. Around 950 the first people start dumping and around 970 the sheep will completely panic and sell till we're back at 900. At least that is most likely to happen.

We for sure got there quicker than i expected. And i also hope i was totally wrong. I think everybody is getting tired of seeing 900.
I definitely am. I'd like to see $500.

Huh? Why?
To buy more coins because I barely have any.

So you want the Bitcoin economy to drop billions so you can buy a few extra coins? Uhm wow.
Yeah, I do. Who in their right mind wouldn't want at least a temporary decline to get more coins? Its not like Bitcoin is going to die if it drops to below $500 for a couple months.

And how often do you want such a massive decline? Just once so you can buy more coins or like every month so that all the new people after you also can get cheap coins? And for how long? Bitcoin has been around for 5 years. So another 5 years or so? Longer, shorter?
I would like to see massive declines maybe every month or so while it continues on a net uptrend. Do you just want it to reach a new high and stay there for a couple weeks then jump to a new high and another new high and another new high without ever dropping? That is what most of you sound like on here - you always think the next ATH is just another week away. We don't have to have all or nothing in 1 month's time. If we get to $10,000 or $100,000 within 5 years, I'd be more than happy with that. But I don't want to see it go to that within the next year, I'd rather things go silent for a while.

We must introduce this guy to bitcoin and bitcoin to this guy. Amazing speech! Shocked

No. Stop introducing people to Bitcoin. We don't need more people coming in an buying up coins right now. Don't you want to accumulate more coins? If yes, then stop spreading the word about bitcoin.

This pretty-much sucks... I've been waiting to buy in since Dec 17th when it hit $455 on Gox. I think we are still in the hysteria from the last price jump. So long as nothing significant is announced, interest will fade again for a short time. At least, that is what I am hoping.
273  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 16, 2014, 11:06:10 PM
Whatever the platform is it should be one which will be available to the most people, we don't want to have the only ones knowing about the shares being us.

which is why it should be on crypto trade
Which will get shutdown and then nobody can trade. How does using colored coins limit access?

If anything it might help there are very few people who actually use CT. Being the first on CC could actually be a benefit to shareholders because there is no short term risk of the exchange being shut down since it is decentralized.
CC could allow us to sell to whoever, whenever, without needing to sign onto an exchange. Its possible CC is the better way...
274  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 16, 2014, 10:46:52 PM
all you need is a program to assign shares to each user according to the color coin assignments, and then divy up the money according to what % they own of the total shares. It requires a bit of simple programming, which Ken should hire someone for.
Wink

Bitcoin is in Beta.

Colored Coins... that way if all goes to shit I can at least claim to have some of the first shares ever distributed in a decentralized manner using colored coins.

I don't need to answer to you, dude. I've been a shareholder since IPO and I've been a regular in #ActiveMining for several months. Sorry I don't post in this clusterfuck of a thread enough to be considered important to you.
You signed up on Sept. 20th.

Should have at least got pictures of the inside... why didn't that happen?

What specifically did you ask and talk about?

I was expecting a Q/A report... even if he deferred, state it.

Believe it or not you can't just whip your camera out and take pictures on private property.

You also don't get to "expect" anything. I already explained that it was told to me to wait for Ken for the questions so that's what I'll be doing. I already told you that I'll be writing a report and it might not be exactly what you want but it will be what you get. If you want something specific then go visit yourself (they have no problems with visitors) or find someone you trust in springfield to do it.
Did you ask if you could take photos? That is what I am wondering...

BG: "I asked if it was OK to take photos inside the building, but I was told not to."

BG: "What is the capital of Mongolia?"
Gerald: "You'll have to ask Ken."

So, you asked Gerald no questions? What did you all talk about? SuperBowl?
