2601  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lindsey Graham: Donald Trump 'Selling Fear and Prejudice' on: July 27, 2015, 05:17:22 PM
these candidates from the nwo are in panic mode right now really worried that he will win the nomination.

Is Lindsey Graham still self-identifying as male?

If this drag queen can call himself a boy then so can Lindsy.

2602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mass adoption? Seriously what would price be? on: July 27, 2015, 05:06:51 PM
Seriously, no one here has a clue. Not that you wont get a bunch of confident answers.
2603  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lindsey Graham: Donald Trump 'Selling Fear and Prejudice' on: July 27, 2015, 05:05:12 PM
I heard some republican strategist this morning going on and on about how the Donald should not point out his party's problems. "He needs to be attacking Hillary because he is not a real candidate!".
Well boo-hoo, lol. He is the leader and is on top of the polls weather the republicans like it or not. They are embarrassed by his raciest, dumb-dumb talk; but in fairness he is talking to raciest dumb-dumbs. Those are the republican party voters.
2604  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how to accept payment with bitcoin on: July 27, 2015, 04:56:25 PM
Yes bitpay and coinbase are the leaders. What I think you want is a "payment processor".
2605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT a currency debate! on: July 27, 2015, 03:53:34 PM
Let's see, it is a medium of exchange and a store of wealth. So if it's not a currency then it's... a carrot I guess?
2606  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What is now the best wallet app for iso? on: July 27, 2015, 02:53:29 PM
I need one to recommend to people who want BTC and want iso.

You mean iOS right?

Assuming you mean a Bitcoin wallet for bitcoin. I have to be careful cause the MODs are sticklers for altcoin posts in the Bitcoin section. BUT seriously Bitcoiners don't dismiss GETGEMS as a Bitcoin wallet. IF you completely ignore the gems element you still basically have the best BItcojn wallet and app on the market today I believe. You have a wallet, ability to connect with friends on the Telegram network, connect Coinbase, send Bitcoin as a text message! Make group Bitcoin payments and much more including a growing store presence in the form of gift tokens. Plus it is probably the best way to introduce friends into the Bitcoin world. Here is the most recent development update.

Oh lol, I do mean iSO. It has been a while since I dropped the iPhone.
And yes, I am looking for  bitcoin wallet for iPhone use. The best would not share the private key, but I am unclear about what Apple allows at their app store. I would also prefer a U.S. based business.

2608  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of places to buy firearms for bitcoin on: July 27, 2015, 02:10:55 PM
Thanks for the great thread!  Never thought about BTC being used on firearms, with shipping to my local FFL this could be a fun thing to do one day.

I enjoy target shooting as a nice hobby.  Something I still cannot explain no local big box stores have 22's in stock. Walmart actually has a small line of people when they know they are coming in.  Is everyone's ammo situation like this?  I've had to order online and actually got better prices online but it's hit/miss on getting those.

The project I have put aside I still need to do is shoot one of the green tips.   Need to find a hunk of metal I don't need.  But thats on my list sometime to do for fun.

Hey your welcome.  Cheesy
I know what you mean about .22s. They used to be they cheap option for shooting. The NRA studied the reason why .22s have become rare and found it was a bunch of factors, however the main reason was because they are less cost effective to produce than center-fire ammo.
If you want to shoot green tip (M885) then you are in luck, they are cheaper than ever and it is fun to see what they can do. Frankly I find them less fun to shoot because they go through anything but leave the same hole as any ammo. For fun try shooting a 1/4 inch steel pipe. You should be able to catch the hardened steel core.

Then how about "Lowest fees and Fastest transactions".
2611  Other / Meta / Re: The most contributed to the forum on: July 23, 2015, 05:54:55 PM
I think DannyHamilton should be on such a list!
I second DannyHamilton and Deathandtaxes.

i'll add them to the list, would be great if you explain the reason so people here will get to know why. Smiley

I would bet DannyHamilton does more to help out new users than anyone else. I think he does a great job!
2612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Entrepreneurs should leave the US now on: July 23, 2015, 05:46:31 PM
This crazy broad law means the FBI can put you in jail for 5 years anytime they don't like your business.  Nearly every version of bitcoin business exposes its principles to 5 years of jail on the whim of the FBI.

Well, obviously it does not say that.  Roll Eyes
2613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be the time for TV ads about Bitcoin? on: July 23, 2015, 05:10:17 PM
It would be pretty cool seeing a bitcoin related ad on TV. Sort of like the first time I saw Bitcoin being mentioned in financial newspapers.

Actually, didn't Bitpay already do some ads during the super bowl?

I watched the entire superbowl and don't remember any of that.
...
It was the "Bit-Bowl" in St. Petersburg Florida.
2614  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War on ISIS: Can we even win? on: July 23, 2015, 03:23:41 PM
"Unconventional and irregular" fighting is the definition. Conventional warfare is still considered...
I think we are mostly on the same page with this. Maybe they are a guerrilla force with limited conventional capacity?

Here are a few recent examples of their more advanced capabilities and some of the uniforms that different units use. I watch a lot of these videos and it has been interesting to see how much more professional the fighting has become. Better training and watching your comrades die I guess.

Last weeks attack of an Egyptian Navy ship:

Uniforms that the better units wear:

Heavy weapons: (your totally right that these are hard to use and move undetected. But they can be disguised or you can wait till a sand storms comes)
DAESH with captured armor column:

DAESH in Libya last week:

Here you can see a little of their planning and mixed use of conventional assets, like heavy rockets and drones, and new guerrilla tactics like VBIES. (suicide car bomb).

2615  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CHATTANOOGA SHOOTING: 4 MARINES KILLED in GUN FREE ZONE - Update: 5 killed on: July 22, 2015, 07:17:00 PM
Want to die in a gunfight? Here's how!

Just convince yourself that children throwing schoolbooks at a gunman is safer than an armed response.

The link below is for ALICE training and is all the rage among school leadership. In their videos the gunman is always befuddled by a second grade kid throwing a math book at him.  I guess that's why all the worlds armies carry books instead of guns these days.  Roll Eyes

But seriously, if your child is receiving this sort of non-sense training in school, you may want to set them straight and disabuse them of idea that anything less than a gun is needed. It is truly dangerous misinformation. You can see the "technique" at about 6:00 on the video. Don't ever do something this stupid.

You want SureSpot. End to end encryption, full deletion permissions, and open source.   Wink

https://www.surespot.me/

It's free, but the author has a bitcoin address in the app for tipping!

Let me get this straight.  This app is designed to run only on fully compromised (back doored) devices right?

Lets move past that for a second and assume we don't care about those players who have that access, and are just trying to fend off script kiddies and low level advertisers / spamz0rs.

Now, where is my private key stored?  How do I verify that I have the public key of your private key, in other words how do we know there is no MIM going on?

Is a key fingerprint easily available?

I use only jailbroken phones that I modify. It runs fine on my BLU phone. If you are concerned about what it does then I suggest you download the source and compile it for yourself.
When you want to invite someone it can be done in-app. You just need their username to directly connect to them. This app is not tied to a phone number or an email, or identity at all. Not that my phone is connect to me anyway.  Wink

How many babies have you adopted? Or are you saying you want your tax money to raise these kids? Or are you just making rules you think other people should follow? Or something else?
