2601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling affect your overall lifestyle? on: August 04, 2019, 10:16:59 PM
Gambling can definitely affect our lifestyle, there are two possibilities in gambling you will either have an abundant lifestyle or broke lifestyle. Everyone knows gambling is more on luck well ofcourse depending on the game, so if you are a wise gambler then that means you have a better self control and has a good strategy in spending your winning while if you are a greedy gamblers then you’ll end up getting broke like losing almost everything.

It surely affects our lifestyle if you are really into gambling. If you live because of gambling activities, that's where your overall lifestyle is truly affected by gambling. But if you only gamble once in a while, then I would say, it has no significant impact on your life. And as for me, I only gamble whenever I have extra cash to spare with, so I guess, it doesn't really affect my overall lifestyle.
2602  Economy / Gambling / Re: Got scammed by Sportsbook /SPORTSBET.IO/ 1800€ on: August 03, 2019, 11:44:43 PM
I’m not clicking on any of your links bur I don’t believe you’ve been scammed, no. Cash out option isn’t a guarantee on each bet placed. It’s an option!

I had 2 correct matches and they finish after finish the casino had 30minutes to refresh the result and because of that i was not able to cash out

After the other match fail they tell me that the cashout option was not avaible but how they know this when the matches not was confirmed its very weird

This are just image upload site xup.in check byself

I have here the fact in screenshoot that this casino dont refresh my betslip for more than 20minutes what is this and then telling me cashout was not avaible?

c/ximg.php?fid=28209020[/img]

I'm seriously having a hard time understanding you bud, but from the looks of it, you are not scammed but the conditions from the game let them to suspend cashouts for that particular bet. Like what LFC_Bitcoin was saying, there are some bookies that suspend cashouts on matches during injuries or technicalities in the midst of the game. Never clicked your links btw, and if you're sure that you have been scammed by the said bookie, direct it to Reputation and make a scam accusation there.

That action would be much better. The situation of the OP might be resolved in a better way if he is seriously accusing sportsbet of scamming him. Otherwise, he will not a good resolution of his issue.
2603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: August 03, 2019, 11:15:04 PM
too far for waves replace ethereum. waves doesn't have a good development as a smart contract platform. etheruem far ahead of the waves. we all know that. even though everything on the crypto market can all be possible.

I don't think waves can replace ethereum in terms of popularity of usage. Waves dex has not gain a lot of traders as compared to different eth decentralized exchanges. So getting even with eth is still very far from waves. Just my thoughts...
2604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do ? on: August 03, 2019, 10:43:21 PM
Holding vs selling should be completely up to you. Just take note that when a ban actually does get implemented, you're going to have a hard time trying to sell your coins. You need to do it secretly with a person you trust that wouldn't snitch you out.

With that said, if you chose to hold your coins, store the funds on a non-custodial wallet. and if you can afford it, I'd definitely pay for a VPN service for my crypto-related activity on the web. While they might not ban the bitcoin-related websites, I definitely would use VPN just to be sure. Even if the government doesn't have proof that you hold bitcoin, they can know that you're still affiliated with bitcoin by using your internet data through your ISP.

Yes, make sure your transactions are secure. Better be safe than sorry. But I guess, sooner or later, they will realize that banning the usage of bitcoin is not a wise decision. All the other parts of the world are accepting it, so what is so special with them that they are banning it? They will be left behind by this great invention in crypto.
2605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best solution to handle gambling addition, in a country. on: August 03, 2019, 08:52:11 PM
This is more of a personal problem. Aside from regulating the gambling industry, I don't know if there's anything else they can do to prevent the addiction. Maybe requiring casinos to impose limitations on how much a gambler can bet?

Maybe that's one solution but I doubt casinos will limit how much you will spend on them. I have never heard a casino limiting a certain gambler as they want to spend you more on them. But if in case in the future, they decided to help an addicted gambler, what they can do is give certain limits to them and be firm with that decision. And all the surrounding casinos should do the same. Because if not, the gambler will just hop on in each and every casino he can play with.

Why are there not more people posting here and showing interest? You mine and not only get currency as per usual but you also help fight one of the desieses you choose. I chose to fight cancer.
I hope this coin does well so I make a nice profit while helping out. This project actually has substance and people should support it.

Usually those projects with substance are being ignored and neglected. But the team should prove their worth to the community no matter what kind of attention they are receiving from the community. Only time will establish their credibility in this crypto market and how they are realizing their objectives for this project.

I especially liked this

Quote
Speaking to Decrypt, Ver hailed victory. “[Wright] had to pay me £60,000 ($73,000) for the legal fees too,” he said.
.

I'm amazed Craigy has $730 to his name. I presume tonight he'll have to polish Calvin's Austin Allegro with extra vigour and mow his lawn with them nice stripes this weekend.

Welcome to law.

I assume the cases against Hodlonaut and Peter McCormack will end the same way.

Are they basically of the same premise to this case?

Yeah, similar cases. Hodlonaut isn't located in the UK, Peter McCormack is.

He has no reputation to sustain in his residence country (according to what he said this time because in his BS copyright claim he's a resident in NY), so he has even less reputation to be damaged elsewhere.

He's a clown, only he doesn't know it.

Or maybe he knows it but pretend not knowing it for the sake of publicity.  Grin He is like banking on his media's presence to get value for this coin but in reality, there's nothing in it. I wonder how long naive people will support this project.  Roll Eyes
2608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Worthy to invest in Grin on: August 02, 2019, 09:07:42 PM
Grin is a new coin and I have heard a lot about it. Bitcointalk forum admin has started to accept grin as a payment method. Is it worthy to invest in grin now? The current price is $4.50 or something like that. What do you think? Will it increase or decrease more?
I am in crypto market just looking for the coins that can bring high profits in the short term. I do not invest in technology because currently very few people can understand blockchain technology.
My comment on grin is that it has gone through its peak. Its price has been as high as $ 14 and now its value has fallen dramatically.
Although it is a great alts, it takes a long time from 6 months to 1 year to revive the price of the coin.
With such a professional team, the price of grin will definitely increase but not much. It may rise to $ 4 by the end of the year.

There was too much hype around Grin, and the coin, being very popular for some time, then fell a lot. However, the project is not bad at all, and we can expect the new wave of Grin's popularity. It can touch 5-6 dollars this year already, which could be the perfect move in 2019. Besides, Grin market cap is great, and it takes place among the top-50 tokens.

I agree with this. There was hype when Grin was introduced to this forum. Yet, it also experienced a decline of price and now, it is gaining its momentum again. Its charts are saying something positive for this coin. And considering that it is in the top 100 of altcoins, I believe there's still something in store for this project.

2609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: What the next 4 years look like? on: August 01, 2019, 09:26:47 PM
Maybe ethereum will be more profitable after 4 years and lot of erc20 tokens will established a good market. Ethereum contract network will be more valuable on that maturity period of 2 years. Bearish market will always be there but not that worst as we compare of these recent times.

I just hope eth developers will find a way how to cut the number of crap eth tokens created. Find a way how to lessen those nonsense eth tokens which are created for the devs' pockets only.
2610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling affect your overall lifestyle? on: August 01, 2019, 07:58:07 PM
With the way gambling has been elaborated in the OP which many players go through then gambling will make your lifestyle very difficult and boring because you will be a broke gambler chasing your loses and bad social skills.

Gambling has known to destroy a lot of families and we all know that. Not only your family but your own self at first. If a gambler doesn't know how to hold himself in front of gambling games, he will probably end up broke and have a messy life. So as we can see, gambling has really impact on gambler's life but as for me, since I am not a regular gambler, it doesn't affect my lifestyle.
2611  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: July 31, 2019, 08:01:50 PM
Know your customer can be find find the wealth of any person, it has advantage for the Government and the company you are going to invest but not much for the people who are getting verified by giving all the personal documents. So you need to be very careful before completing know your customer future on any website particularly online websites.

It is our responsibility to check the integrity of the site where we are submitting our personal information. Because we never know where will it end up with. So whatever might be the repercussions of what we are doing, it is our own fault.
2612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trends in altcoins today on: July 30, 2019, 10:41:28 PM
it all depends on how much money you have to invest. if you are a millionaire you can buy a lot of good coins with passive income

But that passive income is only possible if the project is really good and has very strong foundation. Most projects promising passive income has good trading activity in the first couple of months but later on the enthusiasm of traders die down so at that point, you are not sure anymore with your passive income as the value is likely to go down as well.
2613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I love the speculators in Bitcoin. on: July 28, 2019, 09:31:30 PM
Well done explanation!

I also think of that practice to support our fellow Crypto friends. There are merchants who really support Bitcoin and I love the way they value customers and the Crypto market. If we support them then I think they will grow and will be a living testimony that Crypto can work effectively.

I think we can encourage our local merchants to do that also because they can easily convert it to fiat using an application in our country.

The number of merchants will grow in the next coming years because they will realize the benefits derived from using this technology. Maybe for now, their main reason why they are still hesitant is volatility. But sooner or later, this bottleneck will be addressed.
2614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank Of China Is Promoting Bitcoin And It Sounds Very Bullish! on: July 28, 2019, 08:20:01 PM
Mass adoption will come anyway. Not only China, all countries will accept it in time. Everyone has to face this fact. I hope today's small investors don't sell their investments for small profits.

Yes, finally they realized that banning bitcoin usage will not do any good to them. Because if they will do so, they will be left behind by this blockchain revolution. This is really quite good news. And with the population of China using crypto, no wonder we will expect the price rise of bitcoin.
2615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Good Site for Esports Tipsters ? on: July 28, 2019, 08:12:42 PM
None. Most of them are usually padding the stats and/or does not correctly display past match history between teams. Speaking of eSport tips, I think I might have to start my own considering that I have been following the pro scene between three different games (CS:GO, Dota 2, LoL) for a couple of years now (5 years, lol), and never really had the courage to share my predictions even though I myself have won lots of items on 2018 alone. But yeah, most tipsters for eSports are unreliable, and you have to create your predictions yourself and study the game and the teams thoroughly to get that winning beat.

I might have to look into starting my own thread here, I guess.

That would be nice to share here in the forum. Are you going to give tips for free?  Grin Also, in eSports, you need to be an ardent supporter so you know the ins and outs. If you will rely on tipsters, the chance of winning is still slim. I guess. Better rely on your personal knowledge in a specific eSports game.
2616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: July 28, 2019, 07:15:20 PM

Actually using this cryptocurrency without using KYC can also be used by anyone. But most of the companies, for example, are KYC verification exchanges. Their strong reason is that when our data is lost, they can reset our account with proof of the KYC we use.

But unfortunately, there are fake projects that take our data to negative things. I think before we give the data to them, we must first verify their project.

This is our responsibility as a crypto user, to verify their authenticity as a project or exchange. Because they might be collecting our data for their personal gain. Before submitting your docs, you need at least do a research of these companies, if they do exist or just dummy ones. Once you submitted, you can't retract those docs, right?
2617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔥 SMARTX 🔥 MINING BLOCKCHAIN-DAG | WECHAT TEAM | 43% TOKEN GIVEAWAY on: July 28, 2019, 07:01:10 PM
hi guys, who can briefly explain to me what is DAG?
DAG stands for Directed Acyclic Graph and can serve as a viable alternative to blockchain technology as shown in cryptocurrencies such as DagCoin, ByteBall, and IOTA. ... In blockchain technology, transactions are grouped and are confirmed by miners and subsequently added to the chain.

I guess ByteBall is a good example but I don't know their development updates as of now. They gained good attention at the initial phase but I don't know if there are still a lot of users of byteball. So with SmartX, can they sustain the eagerness of their miners in the long run?
2618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: July 28, 2019, 06:03:37 PM
My life is luckily away from gambling because I'm afraid in the consequences that might came up to me when I became addicted to it. There's a lot of degenrates here who doesn't care about the causes and just thinking about their personal goals. When gambling, we always need control because controlling yourself to avoid addiction is like controlling your good future.
Well, if you gamble just for seeking profit and will make money then, that is not the right decisions. Controlling your self is just an easy way and we can gamble anything we want or something If we wanted to break our boredom and need something entertainment. Mindset is difficult to set if you are in addictive already.

Actually, there's a lot of entertainment we can choose except gambling. If you really wanted to avoid being addicted and just want to entertain yourselves, you can do sports or other stuffs that will benefit you a good and healthy living right?

If I'll entertain myself, gambling is not included in the list.

This is very right. Entertainment comes in different forms. And if you want not to be stressed brought by gambling activities, better choose a different form of entertainment like sports and other hobbies. It is all about what you choose in life.
2619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I lost 200,000 EURO on Bitcasino.io on: July 27, 2019, 11:33:40 PM
OP, stop chasing jackpots. You’re already independently wealthy, you don’t need to gamble with such huge amounts chasing jackpots. If you really have to gamble & with such large stakes go & play poker in Vegas. You’ve probably got a much higher chance of winning lots. Speak to micgoossens, he’s a good poker player. He might be able to point you in the right direction of where to play etc.

I know a lot of online casinos are provably fair but also if you like to play roulette a lot do it in a physical casino not an online one.

I always feel you have a higher % of coming out with profit in a physical casino rather than an online one when playing roulette or card games.

This 100%. Agree with everything.

So maybe the OP is heading now to Vegas or Macau.  Grin I wonder what he's real life like without the gambling aspect. Can he live without playing in casino, whether physical or online? Curious here...
2620  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: cryptoroulette.world SCAM!!!!! on: July 27, 2019, 10:48:59 PM

No they don't have any official account on here (at least until now). People shouldn't fall for this scam just because of warning from DT member, they should be smart like OP to avoid this scam attempt.

@Op, move this thread to scam accusation
True also if they don't have any existing account here isn't there an account that was used to make any post or place any advert about them here on the forum.
Scam accusation need more hard handedness not just to advice about not falling for it but put a red mark to anyone promoting or supporting scam project consciously

People should be aware of their activities so OP should really move it to scam accusations board. Though not all users are heading to that section, still it is better to warn users about such shady business.
