2661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: July 14, 2018, 03:46:02 AM
I think the only way to trace is your bitcoin address. Frpm bitcoin address to a bank where you withdraw with your money. Because the transaction will be record on where did you deposit your money
Yeah, I very much agree. The only way the government can possibly detect your use of Bitcoin is via the transaction and exit strategy you use.. For example, if you withdraw money from your wallet into your bank account/paypal this would be traceable.

It becomes an easy way to track someone in their country from the withdrawals they make with the earnings of Bitcoin.

They will have to learn where the BTC comes from so banks would have to trace back and that it should lead them to the known sourced from their database. If the banks can't recognize where your coins are from, they will hold it for further questioning.

Its probably convenient for them to just allow cashouts from BTC address directly related to exchanges that are connected to banks and these exchanges are the ones that will have records from used which is why they are already starting to collect data from us by KYC.
2662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency – the future of money! on: July 14, 2018, 03:39:08 AM

The Germans and Japanese are adopting cryptocurrencies in their daily lives, and comes Thailand too the world should have know by now what are to be replaced by these technology. The old market are going to be replaced soon as the government are discussing about regulations, this is an epic transition and we are about to see how blockchain are changing their views.
2663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New 10 x P104-100 Mining rig on: July 14, 2018, 03:36:00 AM
5500$ for 400 MH? What the fuck? Why people pay so much money? I can´t believe it.

That is a very huge amount to spend for a mining rig, I'd rather be sticking to GPU and then mine some other coins. I am building my rig now and haven't spend 2000$ for it yet. I think I'd be deploying it soon.

with Nvidia  you can mine equihash144_5 forks (BTG,XSG,SAFE,LTZ,BTCZ)... which seems more profitable atm, no nicehash, no asics.

Will the AMD rx series work for these coins too? I can see some of these coins are already valuable. It must be worth mining. They are asic resistant?
2664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Bubbletone Blockchain in Telecom on: July 14, 2018, 03:18:38 AM
Hey guys, if all of you there are people who want to know how much the money has been raised by the bubbletone's stage of ICOs.
To get all information about the results of private sale and pre sale, please follow the link: https://medium.com/@bubbletone/dear-friends-and-partners-21ac8e858c34 this is good information for us to know bubbletone's funds in the ICOs.

That is surprising because during ICO their website already claimed they got about 51%, there were no updates about it even after few months of extension, I think the ICO lasted for about more than 2 months, that's very long already. It was the time where the prices of the tokens are also dipping as traders were dumping. I guess they were not sending it to the ICO projects like this one.
2665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum? Trade or Invest? Buy of Sell, What The Hell? on: July 13, 2018, 03:30:57 PM

If you don't exactly have plans how to trade and profit well, its best to just keep your coins on your wallet and hold. Both of them are good as investment, you can't go wrong in keeping your tokens for a very long period of time. think of it like you keep your money in a token just as you do in your bank account and go on with your day job. You don't have to participate in the economy and trading, you will be profiting from it while just holding.
2666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin Shares (KCS) is Mooning do you Like Exchange Coins? on: July 13, 2018, 01:25:23 PM

Not a fan of those exchange tokens but I do have binance which is where I trade the most. I don't have an account in KCs yet but I might try one day when a token I got is only listed there Smiley BNB I think is the first to have had such concept which BNB token is used for the trade fees.  $3 is cheaper than BNB though so I guess its still a good opportunity to start buying KCS before it shoot to $12.
2667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Ethereum on: July 12, 2018, 08:23:23 AM

ETH has laid a good foundation and developers and made use of the smart contract to have funds for their projects to materialized which now we are using some of these projects now. These projects are proof of what the smart contract can do for the ETH's price and also give opportunities for more developers for their projects.
2668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is the RX 580 8gb nitro+ gpu worth buying at $315 on: July 12, 2018, 06:43:42 AM
Just wondering if miners still feel this card is worth putting money into this late in its life cycle. I am looking for opinions so let me know please.

Its not worth it, especially because its this late in the mining life cycle.

That card will barely even make a dollar after electricity costs. And thats not to mention the upcoming ETH E3 ASICs that are about to be delivered by bitmain next week. Oh and lets not forget the fact that ETH is switching to POS real soon as well. There are so many reasons not to buy mining hardware right now..

Can't it be used to mine some other altcoin like XMR? How about the newer coin today like the fork EINC?

I think, I have recently been planing to mine altcoins which I have bought two GPUs for a rig that I have been planing for months already. Now that we have learned ETH is turning POS then the rest much have something in mine which coin to mine after. You think ETC or the EINC will be good?
2669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Bubbletone Blockchain in Telecom on: July 12, 2018, 05:50:12 AM
what is shown on the bubbletone flowchart on the website really surprised me that blockchain can be used to provide a breakthrough in the field of telecommunications. you will get local rates abroad without having to replace the SIM card mobile, amazing!
Yes, their approach is an innovative solution for telecom industry.
This technology could have various benefits and use cases, these references are helpful for anyone who want to know more

If you have installed the app they've had, it does work like a regular chat but will ask permission to access the text messages of our phones, don't you think this will be a security issue one day? I think this has been asked here before I can't find it, its buried already in the pages of this thread but maybe if the team can help us here. How do you manage security for the users?
2670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IML] [ICO] IMMLA - First International MultiModal Logistic Application on: July 12, 2018, 05:42:45 AM

The team still are trying to make this work?

There were accusations already about this project, I don't think they did collect a lot of funds but if they really can come up with so little that they got from the community and develop the project successfully, it will be rewarding for them. Good luck to the team though.
2671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If money/resources were not a factor, how would YOU promote mainstream adoption? on: July 10, 2018, 06:09:53 AM

There is nothing more powerful motivation than to give incentives to people in social media sites to use crypto within the social media site. If Facebook will really be creating their own coin, its really going to influence the people worldwide. If the facebook token will give profit to the holders, the world will change over night and will register to exchanges to buy tokens. I think I could be one of those who will promote facebook token to spread the world.
2672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / how much killowatt needs to run a mining rig? on: July 10, 2018, 05:28:08 AM

how much kilowatt does my set up needs to run this mining rig?

i'm sure this will need a lot so i have to compute how much will it consume and is it worth the time. i'm just going to altcoins though. the set up would be just 2 computer with about 4 GPU on each. i wouldn't consider the aircondition for now just the 2 computer and 4 GPU each.

2674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: July 07, 2018, 03:40:55 AM

Solving blocks is essential to have a successful transactions within the blockchain, if mining will be stopped there has to be an option that are to be introduced like POS otherwise that would be asking the token to be stopped totally and can't be sent anymore to any address in the network. All these will still depend to the team if they decides something else but then again miners are going to rally together that might again result fork.
2675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: July 06, 2018, 03:01:10 AM
Why some people want the Ethereum to over come Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profit from ETH or what?

It's not necessarily that people want Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin. By looking at the technology Ethereum provides, it simply just has more features than bitcoin. Don't get me wrong i love bitcoin most, but the technology that Ethereum offers is so revolutionary that it is unlike any other (at least until every other coin out there copied it).

NEO I believe is better than ETH if we just talk of passive income. It can do everything what ETH can as well its just that its a Chinese token. The users are just not attempting to make it look like its better than BTC and ETH. If it explodes just like ETH had, users will eventually claim to surpass bitcoin. In our minds we always think of what can go high and the more you do that when you hold more it in your wallet.
2676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Bubbletone Blockchain in Telecom on: July 06, 2018, 02:45:26 AM
Hi
Latest blog post have listed a few countries that their citizens won't get their tokens.
So what could they do? Do you refund them? Do you let them to sell their tokens to someone else?
Or bubbletone will simply scam them because they are citizens of a poor county?

Which blog post is that?

I can't find that information on their medium blog. If my country is listed then I'm going to ask for refund too. I'm not sure whether they have published such list before but they should have like the rest of the ICO who restricted some countries. If you can post the link of that blog post please do.
https://medium.com/bubbletone-blockchain-in-telecom/reminder-kyc-is-a-must-for-receiving-your-tokens-970200f7ea6f
They should make this list before, it is really unprofessional, and they did not clear what these people can do.

Thanks. I got it. Mine is not listed. KYC is just something that hurdles progress in crypto, those countries has to be approved after all they are part of this world. Basically that just get them behind while the rest are off to go. Financial freedom is just too hard to achieve for the individuals in those countries, maybe we can all say this is still centralized crypto sphere.
2677  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S tells China and India to stop buying oil from Iran on: July 05, 2018, 08:07:55 AM
Washington may slap sanctions on governments that fail to reduce Iranian oil imports to "zero" by early November, a senior State Department official has warned. But some partners seem reluctant to follow the demand. The US administration has been pushing its allies to follow US President Donald Trump's lead after he decided to pull out of the landmark nuclear agreement between Iran and six world powers. A senior State Department official told reporters on Tuesday he had been traveling to Europe and Asia to convince allies to isolate the "stream of Iranian funding."

India and China traditionally used to get a waiver from sanctions and kept trading with Iran even before the 2015 agreement, so speculation is rife as to whether they will manage to find workarounds this time. The State Department acknowledges that cutting off Iranian oil imports completely is a “challenge” that no country “wants to do voluntarily”.

https://www.rt.com/news
For that to work the penalties will have to be greater than the reward of getting cheap oil and the question is the US government willing to go that far? Even if that means China and India could retaliate with their own sanctions against the US? I understand that stopping the Iranian government from getting nuclear weapons is important but even if they were successful in their attempts to reduce Iranian oil exports that will only make the Iranian government even more decided to get nuclear weapons.

That is exactly what might happen. They weren't successful disarming North Korea, that will encourage Iran to have their own. That country has been up for more than centuries, IRAN was once called PERSIA, its been established since the dawn of time compare to US that is a pride to them. They have to arm or Israel will crush them if things go wrong.
2678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How anonymous is Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2018, 07:44:59 AM

There are tons of reason why one would want to be anonymous, you can do whatever you want, you can use XMR and PIVX.
The problem is what when you try to exchange your coins into fiat, that's when you will have to reveal your ID. Those who wants to buy paypal account perhaps are also trying to hide their ID and use someone else account.
2679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are falling! on: July 05, 2018, 07:33:59 AM
falling bitcoin prices are not always a bad thing because the falling prices are actually awaited by some people so they can buy bitcoins at a cheap price because they know that bitcoin will definitely rise again so it will get a profit
Today the market is green and the price increased a little bit. We should understand one think that bitcoin should not be valued in price because it is not for making money. It is just like regular currency but the difference is that it is digital and possesses no physical existence. But the good thing is that it will be usable around the globe and you will need no other currency.

Not that you won't need any other currency but bitcoin or any other altcoin will have to exist along with the fiat other wise we won't know the value of each without fiat like USD. Never mind the falling price it usually does as the market determines how much will 1 bitcoin be, it it drops then a trader will have more BTC if he buys it.
