1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Choosing a Bounty Campaign? on: August 06, 2019, 04:19:01 PM

I'm one of those who had joined a scam project in the past. Even to day I was able to joined some scam projects and I think this is because those teams got some advisors that were very known in crypto like Mcaffee which in the end the token weren't listed in any exchange at all. They are just too good at deceiving, not paying the campaign hunters at their expense of promoting their project.
1922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: August 06, 2019, 01:48:19 PM
They may have squash it years ago but things change, I guess during that time they were just spreading fud and have bought more BTC all for their investment.  Cheesy

The government of China is now working with some crypto projects such as GOOSEQ which is a logistics related project. Since they are doing this right now, they may be able to support more projects. The developers in the country is taking it very seriously like this Goose Q which also partnered with big telecom in providing Simcards for the truck drivers in their project.

1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can exchange services sell my personal data? on: August 06, 2019, 01:07:43 PM

Though exchanges are earning a lot through the fees from the traders I think there is still possibilities that they'd be selling the information to the 3rd party. I have been receiving emails from new exchanges lately, I don't know them, never heard of them but suddenly I got some emails introducing themselves and ask if maybe I'd be interested to join.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Length of time you recover after getting scammed on: August 05, 2019, 02:28:12 PM

I may never really recover what was lost from me until maybe BTC wil be worth $100K and the tokens I hold will multiply up to about 1000x. I experience longer days thinking about it so I have to collect thru the bounty campaigns I'm joining for maybe when BTC rise high I can trade better with more capital. Scalping for few bucks a week is not enough to recover.
1925  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BEATS STOCKS on: August 05, 2019, 02:07:22 PM
Sooner or later you won't be worrying about volatility after prices soar up so high you'd forget how much each coin was when you bought it.

I don't want to click that link. Stocks is already known by most so they don't have to search about it. While for bitcoin, more and more people are becoming curious about it so they are searching about it.

A simple comparison chart --> https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=bitcoin,stocks

Seem true. Bitcoin is becoming more popular now. Anyone with some money can get into crypto and become a bank. The new market has emerged and the old might just be forgotten unless they adopt the blockchain technology.
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin DEX soon on: August 05, 2019, 01:47:01 PM
You will realize how difficult it is to promote a new exchange when you have your own exchange.

You could list shitcoins to attract attention to your exchange but you'd be disappointing users after that though and when that happen there is no assurance if your weidex will still be remembered to be a good exchange. Forkdelta will only be remembered when users are about to dump tokens only listed over there.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no? on: August 03, 2019, 06:58:16 AM

Not very profitable. But you get to accumulate lots of these tokens to hold. There are projects that are profitable though specially those projects that distributes dividends even when it weren't listed on exchanges. And these are the problem with the tokens in the 2019, they are not listed on exchanges because its hard to get there these days. Its not even easy to get listed on Binance DEX.
1928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO] I-Chain | The Revolution of Digital Advertising on: August 01, 2019, 05:15:27 PM
If they are going to ask us to use browsers so they can use it to advertise the users how is that not a privacy exploitation?
But this is simply just building a community of people who will use the kind of blockchain-based browsers. To be specific, the only product they will be creating is the browser?

Users can choose not to use the I browser, but if they use I-CHAIN browser, it means they are ok with I-CHAIN to use their data, which is why I-chain will pay for them. I-chain doesn't mean to not use user data, but to pay for user data. Of course, in the case of protecting user data security.

Isn't it the browser that the users wanna use to earn ICA?

To make advertising very effective they would have to collect the right data which means personalizing adverts displayed to each browsers. It would make sense if they ask KYC.

Nice project to develop browser powering blockchain technology. I think it's like brave browser. Grin

It will be similar but i-chain is backed with iClick a leading digital advertisement company.

Aiming to end the exploitation of user personal data by advertising agencies while they are part of it. Its like killing all your competitors with such project you can definite monopolize but of course its your community.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Learn about the TRON Price Predictions for 2019 on: July 31, 2019, 04:53:50 PM
it looks like tron give up to develop its smartcontract and majority of dapps built in tron platform are gambling or casinos.
It has a lot of potential to become the big platform especially for gambling game but it looks like the majority of dapps still interested to use bitcoin as a base coin.
I have seen a lot of betting service in the service or gambling section and it much better if tron can attract them all.

BTC and ETH started with less than a dollar. It should do the same with Tron. During tis pump the price hit up to $0.3 which could bounce up to beat the last price if bullrun will happen. The gambling dapps alone can do that. I don't know if they really had abandoned the smartcontract development, its going to be pointless if they do because all are aiming to one direction which is to dominate.
1930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Operating Online Casino -- Need License? on: July 30, 2019, 04:31:19 PM

It won't be long til we see user game-protect coming to reply here declaring the casinos you said are operating illegally. I don't play much of casinos though so I don't know much about licenses but as long as your casino allow people to play and you pay them fairly, I guess you can operate. It doesn't matter when you will suddenly tick and turned scam. Any of the license casinos can still be a scam.
1931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your crypto on: July 30, 2019, 03:05:33 PM

Same with me here. I can easily lose a usb drive that contains all the files I need to live. A hard wallet will probably not last a a year to me. I'd rather be storing my coins in an installed wallet in my phone because after all I am not going to lose a phone since its constantly being used everyday. For ERC Tokens, its just the MEW, neverminding updating the browsers all the time
1932  Economy / Economics / Re: (36%) of U.S. investors would consider buying bitcoin on: July 30, 2019, 01:59:10 PM
Consideration could just mean reading a little article about bitcoin.   The actual number of people that will put their money on the line after seeing something drop over 80% is still really low.  Elderly people don't want to risk their live savings on something so speculative.  If you already have a nice amount of wealth saved up there is no point to risk it on one of the riskiest assets, no one knows how long bitcoin will last.

The numbers in surveys like this isn't always as accurate but its something to gauge. More people are going to cryptocurrency investment when they learn about it and Its those believers that we are after. We can leave the traditional people be traditional but come the adoption as its gradual, they will start learning all these cryptocurrency technology thru the phones.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can libra upset world economy if not regulated ? on: July 29, 2019, 07:07:39 PM
The world is physical, I don't think digital things can upset the whole world.

Taking out the banks in the picture is already a disruption and this is what the US government is trying to prevent from happening. It has to be regulated. Facebook is just a social media networking site but all of a sudden becomes a bank of everyone they don't even have to go physically but will also open the users to the new economy of tokenized digital assets. So what will happen to the old ones like FOREX and stock market?
1934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weekly Bull Flag and a Falling Wedge on: July 29, 2019, 06:28:25 PM

This is a game of speculation. Though there is a sign that this could go up for bullrun, RSI does say something else. The resistance is getting stronger that it already tried several times but failed to break out. I wouldn't mind to wait for months but bear market is not something that I can monetize. How low do you think it can go?
1935  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is there a need for tools for sig campaign management? on: July 29, 2019, 06:19:08 PM

I guess it can easily be manipulated as bots can be outsmarted by the clever hunters. Yobit campaign still uses this even today.
This is why there is the need for Bounty Managers just so every posts will be checked and this will also lessen the difficult job of Moderators of this forum. If you can make a not strict enough to monitor individuals post, I think some companies that will do bounty campaigns might just try your solutions.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: TRONscratch | Fair PvP Games on TRON Blockchain on: July 29, 2019, 02:55:33 PM
First dapp rating that list it https://dappradar.com/tron/431/tronscratch

What do you get after holding TAC tokens? This price is quite expensive, 80 TRX, meaning it can grow again, and I still don't understand the morning TAC holder will get TRX Dividend.

Hi, I am the CEO of TRONscratch. I guess you are new to gaming and gambling dapps. The point of playing the game isnt to mine TAC, the point is to earn more TRX, the TAC is just a bonus. At least weren't the first dapp with this kind of program. Basically by tommorrow you did be able to play TIC-TAC-TOE and ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS against your peers provided you can stake 10, 100 or 1000 TRX before you are paired to an opponent. If you win you walk away with 90% of you and you opponents combined stake. TRONscratch takes 10% of which 10% of the admins profit goes back to those who freeze TAC. All this happens transparently and automatically through smart-contracts on the TRON blockchain. Plus 80 TRX to mine 1 TAC is the cheapest mining rate out there. Do note that we would be listed on exchanges and this isn't the market value.

You need a video explainer, then check this out: https://youtu.be/6E1Y4gdHTao

Damn! Easy to win TRX with TIC TAC TOE. Would you know if someone from the other side is playing in auto?

1938  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: July 27, 2019, 02:28:22 PM
I'm sorry to interrupt your speech Grin
Buyback is real mate https://twitter.com/EOSBetCasino/status/1148538248656019457

However, the token burn is still speculation. It is still unclear about the buyback mechanism, how will they do it, how much, what would they do with the buyback tokens, etc.
It is good for EOSbet.io's supporters with the real-buy-back from the team. However, to help the buyback succeeds, I think the team should announce publicly and transparently on some essential things:
- Mechanism
- How long will it last?
- How much tokens will they plan to buy back?
- How they use those buy-back tokens?

I think they should just buy back those tokens distributed from the campaign and not those mined by the bettors. Doing it on Binance DEX would mean all of those going into the exchange will end up into their hands. It shouldn't be the question of how much they plan to buy back but since the sum o the tokens were 250k, I guess they can take them all unless someone decides to hold.

1939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: July 27, 2019, 02:23:04 PM
We all share the same control the market but those who understand well can see when the prices are going to spike up. Today seem to have taken a nose dive. I really think the price can dip into the 6-7k before it can fly up again to $10k, it has to go that low for the chart to show its oversold.  So if you plan to buy, do it when the price hits this low. Lots of big opportunity here so just be grateful to those whoever controls the market.
1940  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Duterte halts lotto, other gaming schemes licensed and franchised by PCSO on: July 27, 2019, 02:06:10 PM

Let’s hope nalang na maging ok ang lahat, and all those gambling license will surely be renewed after the drama of Duterte. Cryptogambling will still be ok for us, and ngayon naman wala pa naman licensed na cryptogambling dito sa Pinas.

Pwede bang madaya ang coins.ph? Palagay ko kasi ay hindi dahil na din sa different levels of verification nila:
Level 1: Email/phone verification
Level 2: ID and Selfie verification
Level 3: Address verification
Level 4: Custom verification

I just don't  see how their process of KYC can be cheated. Siguro ibang tao ang magve-verify tapos ikaw ang gagamit ng account. Yun lang ang nakikita kong way. But I don't think it's cheating dahil legit pa din naman na information ang ibibigay mo sa coins which is backed up by legitimate proofs such as ID, Barangay Clearance, and the like.
