1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: October 14, 2019, 05:24:59 PM

We are all victims, we are all gullible.

Projects were very much attracting at first like they can achieve what they promise in the roadmap but it failed us. We only knew that it failed us not just because of the token price. Some ICO team are sincere to be fair but some of them just empty, they don't even have connections to big names in crypto. Worse thing is that we failed to see it from the beginning and supported them with their bounty campaigns.
1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Claim the #2 Position? on: October 14, 2019, 04:24:45 PM

Every time it ranks up to #2 spot, there is always a shilling account who will post that it outrank ETH like its one of the best thing that had happened. Why should this be a big achievement when its always going to dip again. Its been that way for years nothing happens to XRP, no developments but spends all for its marketing. Now, you look the rankings again and its ETH is on the 2nd position.

1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph main facebook page was closed or deleted? on: October 13, 2019, 03:51:46 PM

It does happen when a fact checker sees a news site is spreading fake news and I guess the competitor reported them. This could just be a suspension as facebook will just warn those facebook page for several times before they will really close down for good it continues to violate.

Now I'm not sure if cointelegraph is really speeading fake news but what I'm saying is what probably had happen or it could be the cointelegraph deleted it.

Are you referring about this THREAD just found this on the forum and one of the user here accuse that Cointelegraph is spreading fake news then now their facebook page is not accessible so maybe the OP of that thread reported Cointelegraph though Coindesk facebook page is up, what do you think?

Probably. Most of the time these media sites are just publishing news that will benefit them and will go to lengthy to attract traffic. They will publish without even confirming the information they got to verify the truth. Since facebook is involve in cryptocurrency, maybe its time to really have FACT CHECKER for this industry.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypcore Dynamic Stable Coin on: October 13, 2019, 03:42:24 PM

You can join based on your skill set, we currently have the following positions which remain unfilled: Legal adviser, Financial adviser, Marketing Adviser, SEO expert and a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

If there is anything you can do please let me know.

Thanks but no thanks. I use to work for a team but I end up being an accomplice to their scaming.

If I have to join from now on, I'd have to make sure they have proven record not just having a working product because even so they can end up a scam. I can probably work for some project when project token is already listed in an exchange and had continue to work on and will pay BTC because that would mean they have something to lose. And I hope anyone who aspire to have a career in crypto should think this way as well.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sugarexchange.io will ever come? on: October 13, 2019, 02:54:48 PM

Did heard of the project so I tried looking for its ANN thread but its not missing.

The only I found is this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2804408.0

One user speculated that its token will actually go up to $10 each, seem a bit stretch and some already claim scam. The website is up https://sugarexchange.io but exchange isn't yet launched. You can't really force them to work harder to make the launching of it faster, teams are waiting for the bullrun as they can't run it while the market is going to imminently kill the project.
1706  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [Advise]Bounty Campaigning is a way of showing youre talent in different ways. on: October 13, 2019, 02:37:34 PM

1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC blocks Telegram with its $1.7 Billion token sale on: October 13, 2019, 01:30:44 PM

$1.7 B can't just be ignore so SEC has to step in.

I guess today there ain't much left for Telegram to do but wait for the SEC's decision. I don't know if can make arrangement to pay SEC, all it needs is just money to collect. Shove some cash to their mouths and Telegram can move on. They can refund all those who invested but distributes their token freely, I don't know if SEC can get money from them with this.
1708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH blockchain based decentralised exchange on: October 13, 2019, 12:43:54 PM
Personally, I am glad that the McAfee exchange was released. What I’m not happy about is the amount and volume of trading on this exchange.
Another dex with liquidity problems, as well as all other dexes. In any case, this is another opportunity for the crypto market, the more of them the better it functions. I will observe the development.
This exchange has only been launched in the last few days and there will undoubtedly be a lot of volume issues. I think McAfee exchange has a very difficult interface to use and this directly affects investors here. In my opinion McAfee needs a more effective strategy to build the image of this exchange because so many other decentralized exchanges are doing better than McAfee at the moment.

I personally like the idea of no fees when trading of this exchange but the exchange website is very difficult to access and often lag.

Lag happens most of the time on many DEX including that forkdelta.

I'm still marveled with the idea that the exchange isn't asking for fees when we all know how greedy this guy is. I wonder if there is a catch to this offer. Anyway, I would probably be seeing people using this exchange due to this followings in crypto. People who are not in this forum will definitely be there.

1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 13, 2019, 11:54:22 AM
Of course they can still scam investors. I have met many such projects since 2017 and I am surprised that they are not affected by the law

Coins listed in on exchanges tend to become scam even after all they've accomplished.

Teams who didn't ask for funds are pretty much confident they can't end up scam because they didn't ask anything from investors, they are just releasing and distributing airdrops of their token. They reason out they didn't received money from anyone but when exchange listing comes, its when they greediness burst out.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good signature campaigns to join on: October 13, 2019, 07:25:02 AM
Just weird, when you give a suggestion to other people about the best signature campaign which pay in btc and which pay in their own token/project but you are not a part of participant to those campaign.
The reason that i haven't joined them is because they either require kyc which i don't have or i didn't meet the requirements.

There are bounty campaigns for article, youtube review, twitter and reddit as well.  Its all for you preferences which one you want to join. Not too many are joining the signature campaign but mostly are into twitter and facebook. Article/media campaign pays a lot with just few efforts that you can do in less than 2 hours unlike doing signature campaign that you have to keep up everyday.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins accumulated by institutional investors on: October 12, 2019, 04:40:08 PM

There are people monitoring btc addresses which tend to send message to them either by email or text when large amount of BTC is being moved, it being moved means it could be dumped. 1000 BTC is a big amount for a wallet but it could also be owned by an individual not an institution. Or they the really divide their coins to several btc wallets to protect themselves from not getting all the amount by criminals.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypcore Dynamic Stable Coin on: October 12, 2019, 02:48:33 PM
Why no team members information has been announced. It's a vital subject I think.

I think they are not interested or comfortable with introducing them to world. I may be wrong also. But I got this picture from whitepaper-

They fit right in scam accusation thread. Not that its true but just an accusation.  Grin

Not posting a real image of the people behind the project can be taken as a warning that the project could end up scam. And they are always right about it. There may have exception which team was legit even if there will be no ICO nor IEO, we'll be happy to take airdrop coins if it end up in the exchange.

1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram (TON) project has been halted by SEC on: October 12, 2019, 01:13:39 PM

What else? Of course, stop investing in that project anymore. Remembered what happens with Kik a few months ago?
https://www.theverge.com/2019/9/24/20881515/kik-messaging-app-shut-down-kin-cryptocurrency-fight-sec-ico

there is no reason for us to continue our investment after we got this notification from SEC, it is completely dead for me.
they do not have another different choice other than closing their project.

Terrible thing to happen and so I guess GRAM will be off because they already did in once for being very assertive.

on one point: I hate it when big corporations infiltrate our crypto market, they never have good intentions even if some could make profit off their backs
on another point: This is outrageous from the Trump controlled SEC, if it was an American company collecting this money their reaction would be totally different, they'd try to control it but not shut it down like that.

Isn't the GRAM developer from US? Was assuming they are. I have no idea so what jurisdiction do the US SEC have to projects outside US, I don't understand that part. Do they have the right to shut down projects from Estonia or so?
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 12, 2019, 12:05:01 PM
I agree with op's assertion, however I would point out that ICO team members using their own, verifiable pictures and whatever other docs they release to the public is an excellent act of faith on their part.  Of course that doesn't mean investors cannot still get scammed, and examples have been pointed out where that happened.

But when you see an ANN thread for a new project and it comes to light that the team members are all fake, or they're using cartoon avatars instead of their own pictures, that's a sure sign that the project is a scam.  That's happened more often than not as far as I can tell.

So I would say that it is *necessary* for those faces to be real, but it is not *sufficient* to ensure that a scam isn't in progress.

RachelX VR project recently did an IEO to 4 exchanges including Vindax and Latoken, their team uses their images but were cartoonized of some sort. I was surprise no one really post a scam reputation about the team and the project. None of the scam busters were trying to question them.

I can see the ANN thread created were bumped by newbie accounts almost everyday but I see they go on, maybe because they were doing IEO but if they were doing ICO, thread must have been filled with scam accusation.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✈️✈️✈️AERON✈️✈️✈️ - [Saving People's Lives] on: October 12, 2019, 09:49:34 AM
WHERE IS THE ERC20 -> BEP SWAP FORM?

I do not want to sign up for Binance, KYC, or buy their garbage token

I want my ETH back but I can't swap out of ERC-20 all the changers do not accept the ERC20 and there is no swap form on the website (there is only EOS swap form)

I changed into this with a changer and no ID, I would like to change back without ID

Why are we all being KYC-Trapped like this? And why pick a garbage chain like BNB?

Why force everyone to use Binance? Force them to make accounts and KYC? Force them to buy BNB?

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

Is the binance DEX asking KYC documents?

I was also trying to convert my ERC Aeron token to BEP but I can't find the form to swap it because I already tried the binacne DEX with the BET tokens I have. The only I use is the binance dex and was able to withdraw my funds back to my EOS account without submitting IDs. I'm wondering what you meant by you can't swap out of ERC-20.

I'd like to swap my AERON to BEP and this is the form I'm looking for.
1717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: October 12, 2019, 09:40:42 AM
Some of these scammers can really spoof some emails or make a response like they knew what they are doing. They could be the ones pretending to be admins in the telegram channel of some developer's team, an unsuspecting user could fall into their trap and will send money to them and then binance still will be to blame. Binance can report the linkedin pages to the linkedin itself so they can check the impostors pages to take down.
1718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 11, 2019, 07:45:35 PM

It does matter specially the ones with less capital like me. Trading fee matters which is BNB created its native token for traders to have less fees, everybody grab a bag of it for its use. All the more with the withdrawal fees, if I have to pay 0.001BTC for the withdrawal of BTC I look for solution to that. I can see people would just trade their BTC with XRP to go out of the exchange.
1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram (GRAM tokens) to be live in few weeks on: October 11, 2019, 05:24:51 PM
Telegram happens to be the social media app I use the most than any other I have lately, so it would be nice to own some GRAM tokens but for it's current price seem a bit pricey,  maybe price will go low once it goes live, after all this is the normal trends of tokens this days, once listed on exchange price normally dump, so I will wait a bit and see how things turn out, no need to rush.

Most if not all in crypto are using telegram since most of the teams developing a project are there as part of their channel to announce what i going on. I don't however see it would go up the moment its in the market unless the price starts very low like $0.01. When they say $3 and lets say I got about a million of the token, I might just login submit all the documents I got for KYC just to dump. There would be 1 in a million of the investors who wouldn't think this way.
1720  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where do you stand on abortion? Let's have a civil debate. on: October 11, 2019, 04:33:42 PM

I have high regards to government which countries who can allow and give rights to their citizens to kill themselves in the name of freedom. This should go along in the issue of abortion where pregnant women to have rights to decide for abortion. We give them rights to chose and vote, abortion should be a right for them as well. Not a question whether its murder or not unless defined in their law its murder which is punishable by the law that CIVIL society shall witness.
