DP is used so much because it can be useful while not having much items. Just as long as you have phase boots/BoT and a wind lace you can be a walking machine gun when you hit 6. That's why the carry position is sometimes filled with a DP and the mid lane is filled with a farming, right-clicking hero because it is safer and faster to farm mid and take stacks. The buff is not much though, but it helps DP survive early and mid game with the mana cost reduction on swarm, some damage added in siphon and extra MS on Exorcism.
True, she doesn't need that much farm and still can be useful in all terms of the game, early, mid and late game. That's why some other teams are putting her in the safe lane while the mid hero becomes their main carry like an agi hero to help the late game. Whoever created this meta, that guy is really genius.

Many heroes now are being use as pos1 just because they have a buff skill like undying that recently used by Ana on SEA qualifiers.
Almost every hero now can be put into pos1 or safe lane. As long as it works, there's no problem with that since it's team work that will make everything happen.

WEU is exciting, Nigma and Team Secret has to eliminate each other.
2682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else feeling let down by crypto Play to Earn gaming sector ? on: September 15, 2022, 10:42:35 AM
Play to earn trend is not working well. Many best gaming project failed which is very bad sign for play to earn gaming projects. Axie was good game and many users took interest in this game and after that many new gaming project launched
It worked well but temporarily. It was a good run with Axie but it's not really that maintainable and the same goes with the other NFT games that have been part of the craze.

but it's did not give long term profit to users and now many gaming project failed to launch.
It's because they're hard to maintain, economically wise, they really can't. Besides, too many scam projects rode the popularity of it and that has pushed a lot of real investors and enthusiasts to stay with it.
2683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 15, 2022, 08:58:04 AM
An era has ended but has opened a new era. From PoW to PoS and sure a lot of moments, experiences and memories will be remembered with the end of PoW.

Hello people,

I have some ETH on Ledger Nano and some ETH on Kraken, and now I wonder what is the best place to park them before the merge. As I understand, there is a chance that there will be a new coin after the merge and all ETH holders (apart from exchanges who do not support it) will get this new coin also at the 1:1 ratio compared to how many ETH they hold.
But will I get this on Ledger automatically? Or what do I need to do for this?

What is the best place to park my ETH ahead of the merge?

And.....how big is the chance in % that there really will be formed a new coin after the merge?
I have kept my ETH on Ledger Live and just waiting for their announcement if there really is a new coin. But for now, there's no need to worry as the merge is successful and ETH is now a Proof-of-stake.
2684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 14, 2022, 08:23:33 PM
So, what do you say, does crypto casinos really care about money laundering?
I'd say yes but they can't stop it coming to their platforms because they're uncontrollable when it's about the volume. They might take some and stop for a little while but to stop them completely, I don't think that it will happen. But since a casino is also a business, if the transactions are volumed up, will they still worry about it? Well, it could be a case to case basis and there could be casinos that have a strong integrity, we will never know and only time can tell for the others.
2685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 14, 2022, 07:21:28 PM
Yup, the SEA region isn't on the same tier as WEU or China region right now but the potential is there. Indonesia and Philippines with occasionally good players appear from Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. What we lack is mental fortitude for SEA region Dota2 players.
There's the difference between the two regions but all I can say is that they've got their own play styles which makes them have those tier 1 teams. I'm just waiting for the T! and Execration to see how ana and topson adopted the play style of a SEA team with kuku, xepher and whitemon. Within a few minutes, we'll see how they're going to play against Exe although it's not really that a strong team compared to them. But it's that everyone is excited to see these two former two time TI champs play on SEA.

I watched both games, and I can proudly say that we taught ana and Topson well. They now know how to tip enemies who made bad decisions that ended up on them getting killed Cheesy Execration has a very strong midlaner but a so-so carry. Bob wins both laning stage against Topson, but T1 just knows how to put pressure on sidelanes and once the pressure is made, they'll just send the 2 supports on mid always to get that mid lead erased from their enemies.
Tipping was part of what they've got for mind games while they were on OG. Bob did play well and we can say as an individual player, he's got the talent but still, it's a team's game. Everyone was hyped with the first and second games, many have thought that there would be the 3rd game but there's none. I have noticed that the two lanes of T1 were just easy and most actions in the early game started in the middle lane. It's actually a good strategy and made a lot of space for ana. T1 will be against RSG within a few hours but before them, it's going to be Polaris and Talon. I wish that Talon and T1 will face on the semis.
2686  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebuttal: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset on: September 14, 2022, 06:26:47 PM
I know that there's a huge gap and belief between poor and rich mindsets. But what I've come to realize is that when you're in a better state and you're already rich, you tend to belittle those people that are in an unfortunate situation. They may also have the same thinking as you as a successful person but they can't just turn themselves into that one because of what they're facing. It's true that poor people are less privileged but it doesn't mean that they've got poor mindsets too.
If there's one factor which makes the gap far between the rich and the poor then that would be money and not mindset. Like you and the op said, many poor people doesn't have a poor mindset but they only lack of resources to get to the position that they want to. Also, not all rich belittle's the poor but there are rich people who are very humble as some of these rich do also came from a poor family before but they grind hard only to get on the place they have now. They know how hard it was to become a poor person, that is why they don't underestimate them but they try to help them instead and encourage the poor to not lose hope.
And that's what I admire from those rich people, those that are very humble and know where to stand based on the status of the person to whom they're talking.
They're not boasters and they understand the importance of how to talk property when they've got everything and still being calm at the same time.
2687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here to discuss UNUS SED LEO coin on: September 14, 2022, 12:43:28 PM
I have always seen this coin on the coinmarketcap and it's one on the top. I'm curious about it for a long time but never done any research since I haven't seen someone made a discussion about it here in the forum.

I'll try to summarize it since i was a fan for a long time. Still am. It's basically a token by bitfinex, i can't remember if they collect a funding to recover from the hack or something but basically they are constantly burning it by buying it from the market at market price with some % of bitfinex profits if i recall correctly.

Difference between Binance BNB burning and bitfinex UNU SED LEO (LEO) is that while Binance burns 50% of the tokens, Bitfinex is trying to burn 100% of LEO.
Now best thing in this is that while they are not obviously burning "everything" as people aren't selling everything to them, then the price target can be ANYTHING, because supply drops all the time while people sell and people can decide to set their sell orders anywhere and there's always some buying power left as long as bitfinex is operational.

Here are the burn stats: https://leo.bitfinex.com/

It has slowly been rising and while ago they bounced as it reads in the white paper that if they would recover the stolen btc they would use them to buy back the tokens. And in last february they caught the hackers

-> https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/two-arrested-alleged-conspiracy-launder-45-billion-stolen-cryptocurrency

Now imagine if US justice system decides to give them back the stolen btc. They would be legally obligated to use all of it for buying the token from the market. That would mean historically most gains that one token has made in a short time.

Edit: Even though the price target could technically eventually be $10M per coin depending how fast they get to burn it. I don't think it would be a instant speculative moonshot without recovered funds, but a slow rise.

Disclaimer: I've never heard about fameex that second poster is advertising with op and i wouldn't recommend using it to buy.
My take on what you've said is, it's helpful for me and the details you've shared has given me an idea that it's a token made by an exchange. Now that someone has shared some details about it, this is making me curious more now and urges me to make my own research based on these details.

A chance for going to the International 2022 in Singapore and meet the sponsored team Evil Geniuses
Those fans of EG and at the same time that weren't able to secure a ticket will probably join the contest. There have been reports that most of the tickets were already sold and that's due to the scalpers that were able to reserve and bought the tickets very quickly.
The International is just one month away and I know that everyone's excited about it. While we're hyped with the qualifiers, it's more hyping when it's the TI and you get to watch live, good luck to the participants.

Hello community,
plz share valuable thoughts about crypto, is crypto safe or not for long time,
Very much here to stay.

does i invest full money in crypto
If you're in doubt about whether you will invest your money, all or not then you did the right thing of asking first because it shows that you're interested in it.
But, don't invest wholly if you don't understand it the whole time. It is a matter that you should DYOR before doing anything else with your money.
In investments even if it's bitcoin, you can't skip the volatility of it, and if we can take it easily. Maybe, you can't handle it well. And that's why you have to test and do it when you're ready after your research.

This is a way to advertise the platform that pays him on this is I will not be surprised because he has great influence in making people see another way of making money with gambling. Know his followers now will start watching this anf thinking of going into gambling so they can win this kind of money even though they don't have the skill ana courage to put things in the correct order.
IIRC, it's been said how much or the estimated amount that he's getting paid for it. At first, it became a controversy and many became curious if he's really advertising it or if it's just a coincidence that he's played there and won that much.
His influence is great and that's why he's got this sponsorship from them and we might see the same strategy from other casinos and exchanges that will hire celebrities for being their ambassadors.
2694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA's EuroBasket is rigged with a proof on: September 12, 2022, 12:49:01 PM
It's Fiba Euro and I wonder if there's really an intention to do this. IMO, this is just a coincidence. Well, these circumstances and results can be shown maybe a few times in a life time.
But to think that this is a rig, I don't think that the whole FIBA EURO will put a stain on their reputation for being a league that's known and with reputable players/athletes.
2695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all crypto gambling charges expensive when it comes to USDT? on: September 11, 2022, 04:03:48 PM
Many prefer to gamble with LTC as well because it is still cheap and it’s network is good as well. You can aslo add to the list doge especially on a site where it’s accepted. Many site offers a lot of crypto to be used on their platform, better to known it first and choose what’s the cheapest network to deal with, Erc20 for gambling is not good at all because of the expensive fees. Choose what is more convenient for you that can work for you.
It's cheap and fast, it's like a lowkey in terms of speed and fee and that's why I still use it for some transfers that I do, whether it'll be from exchanges or a casino or just simple transfers. That's the purpose of these casinos for having various support for different cryptocurrencies, so that their customers will have that confidence wherever they want to gamble, deposit, and withdraw for our own's sake of having that low fee per deposit and withdrawal we do.
It’s always good to have alternatives, I don’t use BTC and USDT for my gambling activities, I still find them expensive as well and most of the time LTC is my choice for a cheaper fees. If you are playing on a site that offers a limited accepted crypto, I guess it will be hard for you to deal with those fees but if it’s ok for you, then it’s your choice after all. Erc20 is still expensive to transact, this has been the problem for that network that ETH can’t still make any solution on that.
In USDT, there's the choice to make it cheaper in fees through trc20. Only if that casino where you're playing has that protocol and choice but if not, then just stick to LTC as it's underrated to have that cheap fee and speed.
And if you're on those casinos that don't support either, then you just have to stick with the reality and just withdraw looking at the fee accepting that you have no choice.
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 11, 2022, 02:41:43 PM
Jake Paul is cherry picker because he needs to protect his boxing record, funny to say but it's true.
Well, he really has to pick his opponent because, in every fight, he's always the main character. It's his show so he's the one to choose his challenger.

Enticing old retired basketball players, washed out MMA fighters (probably they were paid), might in the future fight some retired old actors from Hollywood. Fighting a younger guy or a real boxer will never happen, obviously the result is obvious. He's just tanking his stats because it has a value to offer and that will make them more money.
Unlikely to happen but he might give it a try if the hype is for real and too big to decline for him. That's where he's getting his radar if there are fans that would like to him fight depending on the hype it gets upon being challenged or advertised.

While on the NA, Team Felt was already out and they were the team that has to continue playing with just 4 members as one of them got disconnected.
Too make things even worse for them, they were firmly in the lead without about 13k gold lead and cruising towards victory. And of course I had Felt +1.5 @2.8 on my ticket so I felt the injustice of disconnect more personally this time. Same thing happened yesterday as well, we shall see whose turn to lose by technical error comes tomorrow.
That was unexpected and I think that also happened in some teams in the past. But yeah, that's really injustice, and teams that are participating in this life-changing and grandest tournament qualifier should make sure that they've got 2-3 ISPs so that there's a back up for them.
It's a normal thing for these pro teams to have it but sad for them, they haven't seen this coming. I guess for the other regions that's about to have their matches, they'll make sure that this won't happen to them or else, they're going to waste that opportunity if they really had it.
2699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 10, 2022, 11:29:44 AM
Is Terra Classic recovered and worth the investment?
No and no.
Why it would have been recovered if it's already that down and unlikely to go back to its former because of its supply and the fiasco that it was involved before?
And being worth as an investment? It's only worth it for those that have bought it at the lowest and sold for profit but in holding it as an actual investment that has the plan to hold long, not worth it.
2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Merge will change Ethereum blockchain consensus on: September 10, 2022, 09:27:38 AM
I do not believe that it will go above BTC that easily, it will take a while before it could do that but I believe that it is possible and people are overreacting on it. Just focus on the fact that bitcoin is the first one, and eth could get close to it at least, could it go above it? Possible, I believe it is possible but even if it doesn't, what if it just gets close to it?
Possible but I don't think that it will happen. Let's just think of any possibility but going with the reality, it is very unlikely. The changes that ETH is getting are essential and have to happen and as for bitcoin, it will stay no matter what the changes are for the projects like Ethereum.

Right now, if you check the marketcaps, it is under 2x difference, meaning if ETH goes 2x higher while btc stays the same then eth will be over it. Even if it doesn't happen, what if it is just 20-30% difference instead of 100% difference? That's still quite good.
The market dominance for ETH and BTC is 2x and yeah, that's not really bad at all and it only shows that these two are reigning in the market. There's no need for any comparison between these two, they're like queen and king of the market.
