1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The total limit of bitcoin on: May 01, 2023, 12:38:05 PM
Looking at the basic fact about the limit of bitcoin according to the protocol for the bitcoin network,it was design with a limit of 21 million coin.
My question now is are cryptocurrency miners be unable to generate new bitcoin after it reach the 21 million coin limit?
Since there are over 19.15 million bitcoins in circulation if am not mistaken.
The keyword was already said, limit.
No longer possible to generate new bitcoins after it's been reached. But you don't worry about that because it's estimated that it will be more than a hundred years until the last bitcoin will be mined.
So, we're no longer here anymore and that's likely.
While the answer to your question is, miners will work just to confirm transactions by that time if Bitcoin still exists by that year.
that's an interesting point too.
Yeah, interesting and yours as well. Any thought that you're having is valid but I don't think that most of us will still be alive by that time. Even if I'm also a bitcoin believer and holder, we don't know if by that time bitcoin is still a thing. But as of now, it's here to stay and we're all looking forward to its future. It's good to know about such situations and about these things but then after knowing what will happen by that time, it's best to have that focused thought into accumulation and that's much better for us to get back on track and that's to accumulate as many bitcoins as we can. It may not be a whole bitcoin but you're doing your thing and you've got a progress.

These were really crazy thinking and one of the worst effects of gambling addiction. But don't think that it's just with a gambling addiction but also with other types of addictions where the vice is requiring money. I don't get it that these people even think and try to harm their own relatives just because they're too severe with the situation that they're in as they want to gamble. He's an old man and sad to see that he's come to an end in his old age like this.
You are right, factors causes addictions.
Let us not talk about the extreme mile of an addict, So many things in life contributes to the WHY behind every addiction. Before an addict crosses batteries like stealing just to satisfy his or her desires,  breaking up in a relationship order than elude the act, and so many detrimental decisions,  there is something merchandising the whole heart. The first and most important thing I will mention is depression.
A lot of people are depressed in different ways which one wouldn't know if not told. The hunt for money has frustrated so many life such that they have no hope than gambling and this is the first cause of addiction before the effect of addictions.
And this is the next level of addiction. A lot of factors, personal and nonpersonal can make someone this crazy. It's truly a madness and effect of those factors that one can do.
A depressed person wouldn't do this and wouldn't harm anyone and will just think of his own welfare. But this is another different situation he thinks that taking money from his very own relative and blood will make suffice it.
Well, it's very clear that doing such should never be tolerated, and if someone is feeling to do something crazy because of gambling, think of it many times.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: April 30, 2023, 01:07:36 PM
Gambling is a huge business but not for us. You can make it as a business if you've got networks of referrals or you're an influencer that's known in the gambling scene. But if you're just someone who casually gambles, yes, this isn't a business but just some way you want to enjoy and expect a little to get some profits and it's not daily. It's a terrible idea to quit your job and replaced it with something you're still unsure about. His emotions got him that he'd be lucky every day but that didn't happen, well, he's got an iPhone, he bought his hoe an iPhone and enjoyed it with his money. Maybe if that's what success to him, he'll just rely on that memory he's got but still too hard to deal with in that situation.

It's quite proud to see that you know your category in that statistics. But having it said that you're in this particular category publicly isn't good for your privacy of broadcasting how much you've got currently. Even if we're in the forum, it's all on you whether to speak of how much estimated you've got but then since it is only a range. I highly doubt those that are in 0.1% will say it or even those that are part of the 1% club based on that image.

It was a massacre honestly when I watched Team Aster and Execration. It's like Team Aster is playing against bots, I know it because that's how the bots are responding whenever I'm playing with them. Well, they've got 1 win now but against TSM and that's also a team that's being crushed on this major. It's now being crystal clear on what are the teams that will be out after this group stages.

It was a total massacre, Execration was like just surviving and not at war, they are struggling to survive in this match and it was very one-sided, and it was all because of 1 man that Execration was like that it was a sure win for Team Aster when Sumail join the team it was like a very different team they are facing,
Poor SEA and China regions, most of them are struggling with this new map except Team Aster. The plays of Sumail really suits the team and then having no idea how to communicate with them, it's just all about passion and hunger to win the matches they're playing with clicks them in communication. It's most likely that the three SEA teams will be eliminated at the end of this group stage. While for the Chinese teams, there could be one or two that will get in to the next stage.

Isn't it that it adds some flames when it's the institutions that are selling something positive? Have you guys remembered when we're on the bullish days and then everyone is also bullish which it turns out that we're at the near end of the bull run during those days?
I don't know, I'm not just confident with these institutions keeps on giving that high predictions although I like it to be optimistic as I can be but whenever they're too bullish like it's unlikely at the current form of bitcoin, that gives me that scary thought.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 11:25:55 PM
So, they make an accusation without the real basis of their accusation and just made a fake accusation? Well, that's why gamblers are being thought of for something bad like this.
They can't stand on their own actions and they should be the ones responsible and accountable for this loss that they've made. I wouldn't find any fault with others if it's obvious that I'm the one at fault and lost money as I gamble. They wouldn't lose money in the first place if they have never gambled at all. It's a crazy statement and they'll for sure going to bring this false statement forever in their lives.

I want to absorb that winning aura that you've got mate.  Grin
Currently, I'm into Execration and Team Aster today and they're just about to start the first map. Team Aster got 2-2 yesterday while Execration got 0-4 yesterday. Just an FYI for those that haven't known yet, Sumail is playing for Team Aster as a mid-stand-in. There's a handicap between him and his temporary teammates as he's in the English language while the entire Team Aster roster is Chinese. Sure there is a language barrier but the first day seemed to be good and no problem at all.

It was just lucky guesses, but I am glad to share it with you guys if I surely can with the game Execration VS Team Aster, it was a win for Team Aster total domination and Aster was doing badly in their previous games but with the addition of just 1 player Team Aster is now a different team Sumail Dominated the game he has made multiple kills in game 1 and 2 it was a total domination for Team Aster,

I don't want to discourage you but they've been telling you that it's gonna be on exchanges, they'll have their own exchange and everyone will profit from it. And it's not just a year or two but ever since it has existed, they've been telling those promises.
Now, I think that this KYC procedure is just gonna benefit them, the developers and not those who are mining them and there could be more and something else beyond that.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 27, 2023, 03:31:22 PM
Execretion is terrible so far, so betting against them seems profitable as well.
They are on a losing streak, 0-8. I thought that they can at least get some wins from their recent matches but they're all zero and beaten up. Yeah, looks profitable if going to bet against them. But I'll try to avoid it by tomorrow since they'll be against TSM another team that's on a losing streak but compared to them, TSM got 1 win overall in their matches unlike Execration, they've won nothing.

My EG bet should've been a win if it weren't for that unusual draft, instead of going for a traditional mid hero they prefer to go for a Rubick mid during the first game which ended up going in TSM's way.
It would be much better if they've assigned Silencer as their mid instead of Rubick. Well, they're still in the experimenting phase I guess and if I'm right, this is the first time that they've got a loss having dark seer.
1693  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Projects Visibility (Sig Campaigns) in Bitcointalk. on: April 27, 2023, 12:28:03 PM
This a cool thread, the great information is being merged and collected for everyone to see how much budget is being put into all of the existing campaigns in here. And I was mindblown and late to realize that I'm in a campaign that has the most participants, kudos to our manager Hhampuz for doing all of the hard work plus the other campaigns that he's also managing and also to the other managers as well.

1xbit's manager has already said that the campaign has ended and locked the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5447897.msg62144278#msg62144278
So I guess that should be removed from the list just as what we're seeing on the overview of signature campaigns when a campaign is done and has ended, it gets removed.

Day 2 of the Berlin major has come, did you guys cast all of your bets already?  Cool
Everyone can get the idea of the winning heroes of each team during the first days and I'm sure that many of them will ban it for their matches today.

right now both my bets have won I was really late in posting this but here it is I was gone betting with both Shopify Rebellion and Tundra Esports against Invictus Gaming

If it has been confirmed over with 600 confirmations then it should be to the wallet where you've sent it. As you've said, it's the right wallet or this could be an exchange wallet? Tell us more about this because we're not fortune tellers to tell if your wallet is from an exchange or a typical desktop/mobile/hardware wallet where it should be. If it's the latter, try to update the wallet and that's probably one reason why the balance is not appearing or displaying.

Standing is 0-1 in favor of BC but this 2nd map seems to be gonna be taken by them.

Watched that game, they were basically throwing that 1st map. It could have been easy 2-0 for them
They've won the 2nd map and yes, it could have been a 2-0 for them. Day 1 has ended and just as we're talking about the SEA region, all of the three SEA teams didn't ended well especially Execration. It's said that they're low morale after this day but it's not yet the end of their journey. Yes, this may be the first day and could be a deciding factor to gain confidence for all of the matches made. But then, we still have 4 days remaining left until the group stage ends and that's a lot of days and a lot of things can happen for most of them.

SEA is considered one of the weakest regions and that's why the confidence that you're feeling about a SEA team like Execration is bearable.

I should have added disclaimer onto my last statement about that region. If it was Talon than I'd be happy to bet on them considering they were pretty good on the last Major but probably not on the other teams
Speaking of Talon, we're on the same thinking on them. I think that they're the strongest team on the SEA region right now and as of typing this, they're having a match against beastcoast on the Berlin Major. Standing is 0-1 in favor of BC but this 2nd map seems to be gonna be taken by them. It's first time again to see an omniknight that's doing well on such major and take note, this omniknight is mid and played by mikoto which the ones that I usually see in tournaments plays the pos 5.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: April 26, 2023, 03:16:58 PM
my problem is I don't know how, if anyone is into such sports where should I begin? Any special UFC or Boxing platform where I can read news and updates about such sports?
Just visit the Gambling Discussion and you see the variety of sports threads there which are including the two sports that you've mentioned. A lot of discussions are being made there and that will be a big help for your start.

How do you bet on such games? What are the things to be on the lookout for? Because I believe this is different from football ⚽, I also don't have access to satellite dish like my relative does, this is how he is able to get the best out of these sports.
It's not different from what you know about football. You just need to place your bets on the sportsbook that you've chosen, if you haven't chosen any then you may start your sports betting journey through Duelbits.  Wink
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple removes Bitcoin Whitepaper in the latest beta version of macOS!! on: April 26, 2023, 12:39:24 PM
Just in: As the title says, apple has now hidden the bitcoin whitepaper from its latest macOS ventura 13.4 beta 3.
Not hidden but has entirely removed it.

With every institution trying to get their hands on bitcoin, does this new action from apple mean that they are not much interested in btc?
I don't think so but it's not just their thing to add that into their latest versions.

Why are they trying to hide the generational financial innovation? I would like to know what thoughts you guys got in your mind about this.
They're a tech company and as a corporation and management, they've got other things to look upon, and having bitcoin's whitepaper isn't part of their thing. But, with their Apple Pay, in many exchanges it's possible to buy bitcoin with it and that's why I think that they're not really interested in it if so, they should have banned those types of payments through AP.

How about an early Major bet to start the Major discussion?

Obviously GG to win, its a no brainer. We know how good they were in Dreamleague so thats pretty much a guaranteed there and I am never convince with the SEA region team, therefore Im taking PSG.LGD to win as well. I also got a single slip on GG, thats how confident I am with that bet though

SEA is considered one of the weakest regions and that's why the confidence that you're feeling about a SEA team like Execration is bearable. But with the matches and the progress that I've seen with them, rock bottoming up to redemption that they've got and managed to get into the international stage again is one of the good progresses that this team has taken with the set of new and younger talents that they've got. And in terms of experience, without a doubt that PSG.LGD is taking the lead and advantage between the two. Still, it's a team game and one mistake of one can change the entire game's result and that's why Execration still has the chance to win despite being low. And regards to GG and EG, it's the same situation as the first said match. Good luck with your bets though.
