1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 31, 2023, 07:20:42 PM
Yeah, that's giving the message to those that are just waiting for him to fight. He's preparing for this and doesn't want an inch of a mistake to be done.
I just don't know if he's still chasing Inoue but that might be seen in the future as of now, he needs to focus on his upcoming fight and that's just 2 months from now. It can be lesser time but it's an advantage for him since the match will be done on his upper hand.
I think he is still chasing Inoue, maybe he doesn't have the belt to chase him right now because he is just a rank boxer in this division and se he has to slowly build his reputation again at 122 lbs. And when the time comes that he is prime again in this division, he might call Inoue again.

And so with this fight, just another stepping stone for him, first is Akaho, which doesn't look good in his resume because it's controversial.

But if he can win with a big knockout here so maybe he will be notice again and given the chance to fight for the belt by WBO.
Unlike Donaire, Casimero still has the time to chase Inoue if that's what he really wants. Yeah, maybe this is a big step for him to get closer and get noticed again but I'm sure that he's also in the list of the other aspiring boxers that would like to get noticed as well so, if it's a stepping stone for him then it's also for his opponent and the others that are interested of fighting him.

Very interesting that it will be just 2 months before this fight, maybe it was a rush for Casimero to have a dancing partner because they need to rush things right now in his career. But I do agree that he needs to get busy and that his new promoter found someone that is willing to fight one of the hardest puncher in this division. For me it's better not to get ahead of himself and talk about Inoue again. Just go and fight and win and then later maybe he will be given the rights to face the Japanese monster. I think that is the smartest thing to do right now for him. Focus one fight at a time.
Don't worry about it if there have been talks about Inoue and him, we the fans are just the ones who are talking about it.
1802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmarketcap Portfolio Frustration on: March 31, 2023, 06:13:44 PM
What portfolio tracker are you talking about?
It's on the title - coinmarketcap portfolio.
@OP I haven't used this portfolio tracker and I only check it for the prices because there are other trackers that you can use. Before the most popular was blockfolio but AFAIK FTX have acquired it and we knew what happened to FTX.

Am I overlooking some functionality or is there another portfolio tracker that performs better?

I like to see my portfolio in ledger live.
https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live

You should really consider buying a hardware wallet if you are serious about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies
I also use Ledger live and it's one of the best trackers that I've ever used although that's the main require, to own a ledger wallet first.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: History of Crypto Gambling: What is the closest/best successor to Directbet.eu? on: March 30, 2023, 08:17:46 PM
That's nostalgic, I remember how were those times when they were still here and were surprised after their closure announcement. I've seen some ICO-related projects that were also casino based a few years ago but since they're likely failures, I can't remember their names anymore.
I guess aside from the one mentioned by ralle, there has been no significant casino that has the same feature as them. Maybe there will be some revival that's gonna be inspired by them but so far, no successor can be seen close to them.
1804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Paxful Rip off? on: March 30, 2023, 01:27:08 PM
Paxfull.com was a typo, it was paxful.com
Just report your transaction to the customer support of paxful and let them handle the case.
https://paxful.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
They have chat support, the paxbot and you can just chat your message there about this concern which is likely a scam attempt. If you know that the transaction proceeded successfully, there's no need for you to cancel the transaction.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 30, 2023, 12:21:15 PM
This is an easy Casimero fight. Yes, he loves to train and he's not that careless anymore. He may have been like sort of boastful but that's just for the audience behind the camera, he knows what he's doing. It may look like that he's careless and belittling his opponents on the camera but that's not all about it. That's just to add value for the emotions of his fans for them to watch more of his fights but he's a titled champion, and not just one title so he knows really exactly what he's doing and he's got the upperhand winning against his opponent for this match since he's got more experience.

He will definitely trained hard and maybe look for a knockout, he needs to win impressively and send a message to the rest of the super bantamweight fighters. This is an opportunity for him to show that he still got it, can knock out his opponents. And yes, usually if you have new manager you want to show them that they are correct in picking you up. And I believed that he is still chasing that big money fight against Inoue and so he pick a Japanese manager because it's going to be an advantage for him to negotiate as both are Japanese. So good move for him to get out of MP or whoever his last manager is.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another saga looming to hit bitcoin. on: March 30, 2023, 10:43:40 AM
As you have said, it has already affected the market quickly. But as time goes by, this news will just affect the market temporarily in a quick manner and then the market will go back to its former and will recover hastily. Even if there will be more bad news than this from Binance. The market has shown how resilient it was and that's why, that news will have a significant impact at the beginning but then, it will just make the bitcoin stronger.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 29, 2023, 11:11:57 PM
I don't much care about the rewards/bonuses  of casino's and am sure for any gambling site to have enjoyed a long age then it must have a good reputation hence the strong community.
Another two factors are the method of payment and KYCA,  every gambler would support a fast payment system of any amount won and for KYC I don't support gambling site that claims not to have KYC policy for I feel my account ain't really safe security-wise against impersonation. I take priority to these few features in any site before others.
Although that adds fun when we gamble and that's the encouragement that some gamblers are getting because of the bonuses that casinos do offer. But yeah, it can be one of the last priorities of someone who's rating the casinos based on the features that we want. However, the more active these casinos engage with their communities through bonuses, they're also more likely to gain gamblers through it. As far as everybody's concerned, KYC as the main priority that everyone is looking at. Anyway, it becomes ignored when the casino seems good enough to be trusted by most of its gamblers. But since the poll is made and we're various gamblers in here, we do have our own preferred features and it's good to see that there's a variety of it.
1808  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: March 29, 2023, 09:55:11 PM
If that's what they can afford to spend, maybe they're not all dependent on their monthly salary and they've got something else as a source of their money.
Because if you do gatherings most often, that's certainly hitting their budget and incomes but if it doesn't look affecting much to them then that's nothing to worry about.
But such a lifestyle shouldn't be copied by you or by anyone here, we all know how tough life is these days and we need to be frugal with how we spend our hard-earned money. Yes, it's fine to celebrate occasionally but you don't have to be showy to your friends or relatives just to be said that you're elegant or sort of a rich person. Most rich people are even living frugally and only spend on things that truly matter to them and not on fancy dinners and celebrations.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 29, 2023, 08:59:26 PM
Yes, but we all know that Casimero loves training, you can see it in his blog. So for sure he wouldn't take this fighter very lightly because if he lose this fight, it will be over for his dream to become a world champion in 122 lbs.

And with a new manager which is a Japanese, he might want to impressed them with a huge win against Nghitumbwa. Casimero has the experience as well, he knows how hard it is to win in the enemy's soil, so he will prevent that from happening to him. If he wins, they the doors will open up for him to even fight Inoue because of his Japanese promoters.
This is an easy Casimero fight. Yes, he loves to train and he's not that careless anymore. Blacklist Rivalry VS Geek Slate +1.5 or Match winner

For me Blacklist Rivalry have upper hand in this match, their team chemistry is now good and they showed it to the last game. They are in the middle of the standings with 1 Win and 3 losses while the Geek slate have 0 win and 4 losses. We can already see who has the upper hand in this matchup. For me, SKEM is struggling so there is a high chance that Blacklist can pull this thing out.
I am watching this game right now, the first game was done and it was an easy and quick game for Geek Slate. Honestly, I am not impressed with how the run of Blacklist is going with this DPC tour. Geek Slate is much better and from the performance, they've shown in the last tournament in which they participated. On the first game, skem was Lycan and it was a smooth game for them and Blacklist struggled. Well, the 2nd game is ongoing, and hope that there will be a tie in this series so that it will reach until game 3 which is the decider.
These are the results of my predictions earlier:

SMG VS Army Geniuses  +1.5 or Match winner - LOST

SMG is so strong, they 2-0 the Army geniuses, I though that the AG will have the game number 1 because they have good intro game wherein the pudge and nature's prophet have good farming and laning stage. But they struggle in the mid game and teh SMG fully take over the game 1. In game number 2, yowe picked Tinker again but it is not enough to tie the match, the SMG really destroyed the AG in game number 2.

Blacklist Rivalry VS Geek Slate +1.5 or Match winner - WIN

I thought that the blacklist will be 0-2 with the matchup between geekslate, but they did a good run where they achieved reverse sweep. In game number 1, Raven has a good farm and aslo laning stage but Karl and Kuku are both gap in their lane and for me it is the reason why they lose in the game number 1. The blacklist have good run in the game number 2 and for me this is where raven showed that he is still the best carry in the SEA. His sniper is really really strong. They destroyed the GS in the game number 2. I like the pick of the Blacklist in the game number 3 even though their mid game is not that good. For me this game was considered as comeback because Sf is so rich in that game, but they able to turn the tide of the game.

Entity VS Gaimin Gladiators +1.5 or Match winner - WIN

Gaimin is so strong, there is no doubt about it. They are playing out of the world. they only proved that they really deserve the number 1 spot in the WEU. They literally beat the entity with 2-0 in their favor.

I'll post again my predictions and analysis for the next DPC matches
Nice, congratulations on your bets/predictions and there's more to come from SEA and other regions if that's what you're focusing on. I wish that some SA fans and bettors would come and join these discussions. GG is making it, they're still kind of underrated despite that they've won the Lima major. And now, they're on top 1 on their region and will probably sure to qualify the Berlin major.

1811  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi all, I am new here and I need some pieces of advice and guidance. on: March 28, 2023, 12:33:00 PM
Hi all, My name is Abu-Naim, I am new here.

I discovered this forum while conducting research for bitcoin-related advice before beginning any Bitcoin investment because I lack sufficient knowledge about bitcoin.
When I first discovered this forum, I saw so many topics in various sections in which I was trying to ask some questions, but there was no way, I only see previous and next topic up there until I registered an account, and now I see that I can reply and create my own topic as well, I hope I am fully welcomed.

Please direct me to the sections where I can get good recommendations on the types of wallets to use, as well as basic information about the wallet and how the Bitcoin wallet works.

Thank you all.
We've got stickies on this section and you probably haven't seen that one but it was already mentioned by princess.
And for other additional information about wallets that you may want to use. I'll give you a tip that always rely on good sources provided and given on this thread. Avoid downloading from unverified sources and since you've sid that you've landed on the forum as you're researching about it. I guess that you'll be fine because there have been fake wallets that are downloadables not just from their unverified websites but also they're scattered in google and app stores.
1812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 28, 2023, 10:48:33 AM
Which do you prefer, traditional slots or skill-based slots?
I'll still prefer to get into the traditional ones but I know that changes are constant and there will be games like that which is like the revolutionized type of gambling for specific games like slots. It's new to me to see a slot that's skill-based. There are interesting thoughts made on that article and it's true that the era will come for this type. Everyone should check and read it out as it might be something interesting that you're also eager to know.
1813  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is right about Bitcoin? on: March 28, 2023, 09:22:20 AM
All of those, actually it's not a problem anymore on how people address bitcoin as long as it's not all about the "dark net money". If you get to hear and read those negative terms that have been used about bitcoin before, those terms are way much better than it was.
It all sums up with the same definition and you don't have to stress yourself from it as all of those are totally fine and acceptable and way easier to understand no need to be technical depth and use of technical jargons.

1815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: March 27, 2023, 07:30:42 AM
I really need a clarification on this. Is chasing looses in gambling same as looking for closure because i recently read an article on reddit where the poster said that he will gamble untill he wins just to look for closure. I have been thinking about this for sometime now because closure has the same characteristics with chasing looses which is even when the gambler is loosing he will still be gambling just to recover all his looses.
It depends on the gambler, if you're looking for closure you can depict that in some other ways. But if you think that chasing your losses are the ones you're signifying so that you'll find closure then that's it.
There are so many ways to think of but if that satisfies you as you try to find it, you think of it as your gateway to getting satisfied. Usually, with these chasing of losses, we just want to recover our losses and that's the main reason and there's no need for any closure because we always get back regardless of the result.
1816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: March 27, 2023, 05:29:37 AM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .
Trading and being an investor are different paths. but since you've mentioned that you're starting up, it's best for you to try these two and see if one works for you very well. My advice for people starting out is to avoid trading first, you need to check and see how it works properly, and initiating through investing and buying bitcoin is the best first step that you can do. It's right that you want to start and you need somewhere to start. Don't jump quickly to being a trader without knowing how risky it is which is the same also as an investor that it has got risks.
But the difference is that being an investor, you can be passive and learn the market as you watch it. Eventually, when you're able to see how the market works then you'll have the idea how to trade but to give you some tip, most traders are losing.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 26, 2023, 09:09:04 PM
Or are they even cooking at all? All I can see was this OG is just a bunch of kids that destined to be relegated on Division 2. Clearly Yuragi can’t carry the team while DM can’t do what ATF doing which is a secondary carry at all. The only player that performing well is BZM which do an amazing job but he alone can’t carry the team.

I don’t know what’s happening to Yuragi but he seems loss his confidence after multiple failure since ATF. Maybe ATF is the real carry of OG. There’s no way to recover this team unless Yuragi awaken on his deep sleep. This is not his original game during his initial sign up on OG.
I think when OG released Ammar, the adjustment was different. Look at Nigma, the transition was so quick and Sumail said that he's become flexible on his team and he's happy with that motion that's happening in that type of setup. It's true that OG needs to at least rebump what they've got and they are on the verge of losing this dpc season and get nothing from it. The spot might be better for another division 2 team and they just need to swap places and I agree with DTB that they might need to get to division 2 and extract all things needed to be done for them to get back stronger.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 26, 2023, 07:41:41 PM
That might happen since casinos are regulated and they'll just have to obey and adhere to whatever the government will tell them to support. So, as part of CBDC adoption and usage, it's very likely that it will be used through it. But then, there have been hot eyes on the casinos and they might think of money laundering and that's gonna be an ugly impression into it so it could also be slashed to that usage. Well, it's up to them and only them can decide whether they will allow it and be enforced or not.
Yes, it could trigger money laundering using other forms of money, especially if the casino doesn't report its finances in detail. But if the casinos obey the government, maybe the casinos will use CBDC and leave the old methods because of the regulation. But I don't know whether this method can comfort gamblers because if they feel uncomfortable, they will move to another casino. And even though the adoption process is starting to increase, it depends on each gambler because they will feel that comfort later.
And what's good for them is if it's registered on their issuer which could be their central bank and it's got a traceable item or code then they'll be able to figure out if it's been used in money laundering or not. But I don't think that it will be quick that they'll leave the usual methods that they've got. The more, the merrier in terms of accepted payment methods and that's favoring more their customers instead of abandoning one method where their customers have been used to.
1819  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can divorced couple reunite?? - please share experience on: March 26, 2023, 06:38:46 PM
It is not forbidden to go back to each other and have a new start. I've seen stories of relationships that have gone through a lot and then still managed to break up, file for divorce, and then went silent for years. But in the end, they were still the ones that have feelings for each other.
Sometimes the reasoning is about the shared responsibility towards their children and then that builds up the fire again for them to understand and reminisce the times that they've been together. And that's why I believe that even with break ups or divorce or worst, as long as there's a chance, a couple can still be back together again.
1820  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price and my mindset on: March 25, 2023, 01:58:56 PM
There is no need for you or anyone to post how much they've got with their wallets. It's not really a requirement when you post a topic or a thread that you're making. Good luck also with your new ventures that you're about to make from the profits you've made on bitcoin.
It's a good decision and wise move that you're going to use your profit into another investment or business to grow how much you've got. Just take profits when it's necessary and you're too happy to take it and not when you're forced but, sometimes it's good to cut loss if needed.
