2681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the most innovative technology on the internet on: July 04, 2022, 06:22:51 PM
So to this point Bitcoin can be said to be the global digital currency because Bitcoin has no restrictions and is not controlled by anyone.
Nah! That's not true. I don't even see it ever happening. My reason for that is because of certain encumbrances of Bitcoin like internet and literacy level. Bitcoin can't be embraced in areas or countries that lack those two major items and there are countries with low level or absent of those two. Again, you've to bear in mind that despite how high a value the British Pounds or Euros are, they still aren't more globally accepted than the US dollar. Quite true that Bitcoin is a phenomenal of the 21st century but it's not a global digital currency.
2682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt-coin do you trust the most? on: July 04, 2022, 06:13:37 PM
My trusted altcoins: Ethereum, BNB, Dogecoin
Good to see someone root for Dogecoin in an unrelated comment. I like Dogecoin too after I discovered its ease of transaction. It's cheap and fast to make payment using it. I don't get it when people say it's a joke coin or meme as popularly acclaimed, as if it's utterly useless. Perhaps what is dragging its price that down is its huge supply. Other than that, doge seems a great coin. My alts pick will centre around exchange and launchpad tokens, I like Cartesi and Cifi by the way too. Then ETH also comes in, dragging Dogecoin with it.
2683  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kucoin help - Just signed up. on: July 04, 2022, 04:37:00 PM
OP should do a thorough research before sending their hard earned cash to Kucoin. There's a recent withdrawal restriction rumour there and then a debunking news from that quarters from Kucoin's CEO. I would believe that there's no fire without smoke. I think there's something going on there now that you may want to watch carefully. You can find news story here – KuCoin CEO slams insolvency rumors citing “no plan to halt withdrawal”. I didn't point this out to scare you but to alert you.
2684  Other / Meta / Re: Curious Question about Meriting on: July 04, 2022, 04:09:20 PM
I like the way BlackHatCoiner tabulated it but the problem would be if that user is going to always remember how they compartmentalized them at each merit giving opportunity.

That you actually went ahead to click to their profile, copied their bitcoin address, and then sent them some bitcoins?
I believe this option may be the last users have contemplated for worthy posts. They would rather splash enough merit on it if it saved their lives or assisted them greatly. May be for other worthy course, they would give sats. I haven't thought of sending anyone sats in place of merit myself, anyway.
2685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin's price "basically a fire sale"? on: July 04, 2022, 03:41:04 PM
I rather buy, then price dips; than I didn't buy and price starts soaring. I will keep hitting myself for missing an opportunity. Once I buy I know there's no way I'm going to sell in loss. That's the kind of mindset I've come to develop about Bitcoin. It hasn't disappointed in that regard.

In this bear market, many people are fearing, and becoming panic. For this they are selling their Bitcoins in such a low price.
These paper hands will soon understand how unwise the decision they're taking now by selling off in panic are like others before them. They too will definitely learn.
2686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 30k Range again on: July 04, 2022, 09:24:10 AM
If btc would go toward 30k range most of investors will sell it again. BTCBTC
There will still be some investors that will buy at that point. That's what makes the market complete. Someone will be buying at the same time someone else is selling. Remember that there were buyers that made price possible even to $64k while some lucky dudes sold off at that point. However, let me quickly state here that there will be another stage of resurgence in price even to the point of a fresh ATH. Only those who will hodl till then will be highly profitable. I've read reports from some quarters that Bitcoin had never dipped this deep and that it signalled something sinister to Bitcoin; but I tell you, buy more if you've to. It's all noise. Bitcoin isn't going to die, at least not now.
2687  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back at 20K. Imagine who sold at 17.7K. on: July 04, 2022, 06:55:03 AM
Some people are simply born weak. I'm confused why some people are in panic when Bitcoin fell to $20,000 as if it's their first time experiencing a bear season. But even to those who are first timers in the market, haven't they seen the overall Bitcoin chart? I'm really confused. Haven't they seen the price history of Bitcoin? Even to first timers, they should have heard for once that the price of Bitcoin has always been following bullish and bearish cycles.
You say all that because you now have the expertise of a veteran and patience of a firm believer in Bitcoin. I bet you also panicked expectedly as a noob when you witnessed for the first time Bitcoin dip. If you didn't, I did. Anyone observing Bitcoin plummeting will panic because of its volatility when it does that. So, I don't blame any noob investor who panics because of that. My blame and disappoinment will be on veterans who should know the modus operandi of Bitcoin. It's always after the rain comes the shine – in this case, after the bull comes the bear. It's a circle.

2689  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do we spot the crypto bottom? on: July 03, 2022, 07:29:21 PM
No one can tell the exact, or can predict it.
Instead what we can do is just calculate and predict it by evaluating the situation.
In my opinion, if you seek for extra profits or become too greedy, then eventually you will miss the best time to buy the coin.
I just shared a similar perspective a while ago. No one can be that shrewd as to continue to wait for Bitcoin to fall deeper that it's doing now. It has already offered its fans enough discount. Yet, those who wished they had bought in when it was $50,000 or $40,000 or $30,000 still dillydally on it now that it's below $20,000 aren't smart. The best option and strategy for anyone interested in getting Bitcoin or other alts of their choice should be to DCA on them right now. Investors shouldn't be too greedy to squeeze out every juice in terms of cheap pricing from every project.
2690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin (BTC) Crash To $13K After The Fed Rate Hike? on: July 03, 2022, 06:30:21 PM
Focus now turns to how the token could react to a Fed rate hike later in the day.
Bitcoin is a coin, not a token.
2691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone bought Bitcoin/altcoins already? on: July 03, 2022, 05:31:57 PM
Anyone who hasn't taken the discount advantage Bitcoin is offering around this time would be missing out big time now. Despite the fact that I (some of us) still expect it to dip more, it's safe to DCA on it instead of waiting for a price level that may not come. We can't be too shrewd and not buy in because our expectations of a further dip forecast. It may happen, and it may not also happen to get there. I always take the liberty of Bitcoin not going to disappear overnight to buy whenever I've loose cash. Even if it dips after I buy I don't panic.
2692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I lost my trust wallet! Pay reward! on: July 02, 2022, 07:22:49 PM
You have more than one account on trust wallet and but you only backup the recovery words that was empty, what kind of bad security idea did you follow.
I believe that wasn't deliberate if it actually happened. It happened to me when I started using Trust Wallet. I backed up the first account erroneously believing that all other accounts I opened in that wallet had the same passphrase. How dumb that was, knowing they had different funds in them. I guess that was OP's thinking too.

At current price it's $346K (blood market). It's a lot of money.
You're indirectly trying to make OP cry; that's if their story is genuine. I said that because we've seen such sob stories that end up not been true.
2693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: July 02, 2022, 06:23:41 PM
~
if we believe in what we choose, then the current downturn conditions will be paid off in full with favorable returns in the future. just hold it with trust, we will get the benefit.
You're right. Investment in Bitcoin demands patience to be able to be profitable as an investor. It's a long term investment that shouldn't be seen as a shortcut to riches. We can look at altcoin investment as short term but certainly not Bitcoin. There were some that bought Bitcoin at ATH in 2017, just the same way some also bought at the last ATH in 2021. Of course, many of those who bought at those points would've panicked and sold off in loss but those who're still hodling till date and will hodl till the next rally will be happy for it. No doubt, Bitcoin will achieve another milestone. It's just a matter of time and who has patience for its wait.
2694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today is the day on: July 02, 2022, 06:00:19 PM
I also think this is the right time to buy bitcoin at a low price.
We may not see prices this low again in the future, especially if the bitcoin price can reach above $100k.

Remember when you were saying 45k was a perfect buying opportunity?
Lol 😆... But you didn't expect anyone would've a perfect handle on the prices of these things. Did you? The best anyone would do is speculate on price. I understand that user's near certainty on Bitcoin price and I know it was occasioned by excitement. Sometimes people get carried away that the dip at the moment would be the bottom and then price springs another surprise, continues on a downward spiral. This thing happens and it's the same reason most early adopters aren't hodling Bitcoin till date. They got deceived by Bitcoin fluctuations and felt the prices they were selling were the highest Bitcoin could get to. I've read reports were some dudes said Bitcoin was going to see $10k. We may get there to that price. We may also not get there. It's just mere speculation the way I see it.
2695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: July 02, 2022, 03:01:56 PM
~snipped~

It would be a better decision to buy coins after confirming that the market has turned bullish. In this case, the purchase price will be higher than the minimum, but this will prevent more significant losses that will necessarily occur if the market continues to decline after the purchase.
What you're proposing here is "chasing price". I don't see it as a good investment strategy. Why would I wait for price to turn bullish before going in when I believe the crypto I'm buying is a good one? If I believe that it has utility, I go in and not wait for someone to FOMO on it. Those who fear to lose anything at all in this game are those who end up losing. The plan should be to spot the one you want to buy and do so when the market seems silent on it. FOMO shouldn't be a thing with shrewd investors. To this point, I side with virasisog on their position.
2696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better than DCA is DCAing when fear is high on: July 02, 2022, 10:42:23 AM
Those who know charts can find proper bottom and do dca there
I tell you of a truth, those who are absolutely sure as in the Nostradamus style that price has hit a bottom won't need to do a DCA. They throw in all, I mean all, and buy at once. Why would anyone begin to make purchases in bits when they're convinced that price will dip further. None, of course. I like the DCA strategy because it offers investors an opportunity to get cryptos they wouldn't want to miss at a perceived cheap price.
2697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: July 02, 2022, 08:43:54 AM
What are your current opinions on the cryptocurrency market?
My opinion on it is, "Don't fright" for this will soon become a past confined to history too like others before it. I've said it before that what users here who're interested in investment should be doing now is to start buying their favourite cryptos ehichy they couldn't get months ago. Don't wait for an elusive bottom. You're likely to miss that point. Instead, do a DCA and leverage out.
2698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: July 01, 2022, 02:27:58 PM
Honestly, that's true. CZ couldn't have been truer than he said it. Unfortunately, that type of headline panics many and make many very scared of buying in. They think buying at a time like that would be highly suicidal and a financial waste. Even Warren Buffett said that investors should take the advantage of fear to buy in and the greed of others to sell off. I suspect that even those who know that Buffet axiom hardly put it to test. Nonetheless, wise investors see that media FUD on Bitcoin as an opportunity to buy at a discount and they utilize it.
2699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fear of losing my coins grabbed me by neck on: July 01, 2022, 10:43:57 AM
Mobile wallets have been considered one of the most at risk wallets (after Web wallets).
I think a better part that can trigger this issue is with sites the mobile wallet owner visits. If the user has a habit of visiting porn sites they will easily be exposed to malware vulnerability. This expectedly also exposes the wallet to hacks and attacks. I've been using mobile wallets as long as I can remember and I haven't had any issues with the various ones I have used. I make sure I'm extremely careful while installing them. I don't copy to paste passphrases. Just generate the passphrase offline and write them out on a sheet of paper.
