The more the merrier won't apply here if that happens and that's like limiting investors to a certain line of selection. I get your point. However, trading is more of practical realities than theory (reading). This is simply why most people who can teach trading suck at making profit trading. Emotion is the bane of trading. It takes a heart of steel to not close one's trades in loss when price is heading to SL. Most times, price won't even get to the SL before it reverts but emotion gets in the way while one watches it move and then closes it prematurely. Trading isn't a simple business. It takes a lot to succeed at it.

Anyone who's patient and takes things slowly will hardly fall prey to the modern day scam. Most of these scammers adopt almost the same format to dupe their victims. As per assessment of the project, from where I stand, I believe it's a good one. There must be a strong reason why so many exchanges are struggling to list this same coin. We may not see the reason now but definitely there's something that endeared those exchanges to Shiba. Buy this coin and keep it.

Will you say that about Ethereum too? Even if we don't trust any other coin, I don't think ETH deserves the lashing others get. I've said somewhere sometime that if Bitcoin had the ability of the smart contract ETH has that has actually developed this industry by allowing many projects to be birthed on its chain, its price would've soared way more than what we've now. For me, ETH isn't just any other coin. It's a major player too like Bitcoin.

Well, this thread was opened about four weeks ago and from hindsight I'm sure you would've discovered if what you thought was a bottom then was actually what it was by now. The worse anyone can do is to tell you of a certitude that here's where the bottom or top is or should be while price is still active. However, from what I see it's looking like price is on the upscale. Even if it bounces off to break support, it won't dip that much to cause another scare like what happened during the FTT saga late last year.

Soon we will discover that this range which seems impossible to cross now will look like child's play by this time in 2024. Anyone who has money to buy should do it and not unnecessarily wait for it to dip further. Buying BTC at anything less than $60k is already at a discount let alone anyone buying around the $24k or $25k region. Don't over speculate and then perpetually wait in vain to make any entry.

You're right with the quick moves. Each time I see such I always expect a correction too. We've often be told that price behaves like kids on errands; it doesn't head straight to the target but will often branch off before getting there. Price Action doesn't move on a straight line upward or downward. However, looking at the monthly close, I won't be shorting Bitcoin for whatever reason. I will rather stay on the sides whenever I think I spot a dip than trigger it.

Sorry, there's really no shortcut to it. I know there are users who are going to tell you to buy low and sell high. That's a generic suggestion anyone can make. Regrettably, none can pinpoint where that low or high is. Those who even give that type of suggestion are likely to be among those who are often caught unawares and they end up selling low or buying high which is against what they preach. To the best of my perspicacity, I don't believe there are actually overbought or oversold situations. At least, not while the market is still active. We only get to find out such a situation on hindsight and not while price is active around that region.

Someone like me also fell prey to such assumption back in the day. I bought anything that had "bit" or "bitcoin" to its name. How funny and idiotic that sound to me now, looking back. I think that age is still tender (I speak personally, anyway) for me introducing my ward/child to this forum. I don't even want my kids accessing the internet without restriction or under parental control. We don't know where their curiosity will push them into and they veer off the track. I can do the teaching with them, show them stuff but won't allow them do it alone. I'm a bit old school on this. The globe this day isn't a friendly place to allow kids wander on their own. Again, on the gambling section here, kids should be under restriction.

That was the first thing that came to my mind while I was going through the OP. I won't bother scanning any QR despite knowing it quickens my access to the "blinded" coded information. I don't even like doing a QR that isn't on what I know. The few things I had done it would be to pair devices or a mandatory stuff that has to do with my other devices. Apart from that, I steer clear. I don't like surprises when it comes to online devices. One will never know what's at the other end of the code. It doesn't matter how reputable any user is perceived to be, I should've a glimpse of what I'm scanning before doing so.

A lot of traders and investors have turned less than that amount to thousands of dollar. What's crucial in trading and investment is the knowledge and this surpasses the capital thrown into it. One can easily blow that same amount without having the basic knowledge of trading. It doesn't really matter the amount put aside for trading. Seek technical knowledge first. It's important.

Your major problem isn't the capital. In fact, if anything, that shouldn't even come as a concern to you at this moment. The first thing you need (and it should run into months) is to acquire the basic skills for trading. You can start with learning about Price Action, candle patterns and Money Management. Babypips is a great site that teaches such stuff. It was a major part of my learning curve.

Your last line caught my attention more, thus my reaction. Introducing the heavy and deep part of cryptos to very young people and at the same time restrict them from the distraction it affords is a difficult thing to do. We really may not be able to know where to draw the line. In my case, at a point my young son badgered me to teach him stuff about this industry but I struck a deal with him to wait until a certain age. However, he reads some of my posts here and other crypto activities and trading I do. I don't want the financial gains derived from cryptos distract him from his basic school studies, I often hush him. I have on few occasions caught him brag to his peers that he knew things about Bitcoin 😂. Kids and their bragging rights. For me, he will get there one day but for now I've made him realize that there's always time for everything.

If by below $20k you meant $12k, o seriously doubt we will get that roughed out to that dump. I would've expected that around the period before Bitcoin started pushing up in January. Since we didn't and Bitcoin is looking good in every sense of it at the moment, I don't think it will dip that much to that point. We can get it below $20k but I won't expect it to crash to that $12k region. Besides, we've to reckon that 2023 is expected to herald a bull rally as halving is next year. We know how positive all the previous halvings have been on Bitcoin and the entire crypto market. I expect same again.

I know you're trying to keep to that principle of "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" but what if that basket is the only available one to you or if it's the only one that will be useful to you? Quite alright it's good to have more than one stream of income. However, what happens when there's no other stream of income is for one to emphasize the one at hand by finding ways to be better at the game.
