But that doesn't stop him from being held responsible for what happen, and in your own case too.
From all that I've read about the ongoing case, Julerz hasn't denied responsibility for what happened. If anything, he has several times admitted that he fucked up by being too relaxed on his wallet security while at the same time he has offered to sell off his bike to raise cash for the repayment of the debts he has incurred on this. I hope he doesn't get tagged by some until this situation is resolved. His account and the bounty he manages here are his only sources of income, according to his confession. Getting his account tagged will destroy it and keep him out of business. That will be double jeopardy.

I would like to kill myself right now but I would prefer another alternative as I have two kids whom I would very much like to see grow up.
Gosh! Come on man. Don't get suicidal, no matter what the situation is. That won't solve anything, instead it will exacerbate the situation for those who care about you. I'm a father too and I can understand this pain of one losing their source of income. Yes, the hurtful words will come in torrents as this is ongoing but you've to grow a thick skin at a time like this by finding a way out. That way out should be centred on repaying the debts to both companies. Nothing else can be a better strategy. We all make mistakes and mistakes they say is a natural human flaw in all.
1884  Economy / Reputation / Re: I've been hacked on: January 09, 2023, 05:22:48 PM
This isn't looking good at all, even on the forum. No matter how I (or anyone else) want to say you're one of the reputable managers here, facts and concrete evidence are going to be needed to prove your innocence to start with. This isn't a situation anyone will wish to be in. My advice to you is to lay the facts of what happened bare. What you've in the OP isn't enough to convince anyone yet.
1885  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 09, 2023, 05:00:33 PM
and the other young man gave me a hint, namely for me to join this forum to ask about me, who is old, is it worth investing in bitcoin or not?
Welcome to the forum. The person who gave you that hint to join this forum just handed over to you immense key to crypto knowledge. Today, marks it exactly six years I stumbled and registered on this forum unaided. I checked your profile and you're barely five days registered on this forum, you're on a good start for the year. Just keep it up and become active here. I'm grateful to my curiosity that drove me to this forum and I believe you will discover the value of being in this forum sooner than you imagine.

On the age thing, people older than 47 years have investments in stocks and banks while should Bitcoin be any different? I know of a user here who's well past 70 years and he's a Bitcoiner. That user isn't the only one, judging by the tone of others. What makes you even think that age should matter when it comes to investment? I think it's more of interest than age.
1886  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you don't get the merit, the ranking won't go up? on: January 09, 2023, 03:22:40 PM

...so therefore i believe those people who is meriting worthless post or shitpost, cross examine them one after the other you will notice that they are into merit sharing, because no potential forum member will like to give a shitposter or worthless post that have no meaning or not meaningful a merit, either they know each other or it from it's tribe, the methods of giving out merit need to be review because many people is abusing merit system.
You now get the point I'm trying to drive in. So, when this happens we can't say it's because the merited posts have quality. Even, those who give the merit will claim the posts they merited are quality posts. This is why I continue to say it's subjective. Except you've a documented case of merit trading against a user(s), it's really not possible to dictate to them what posts to merit. Even if the merit system is reviewed today as you're calling for it, there will still be other loopholes to exploit. No system of the world is ever perfect.
1887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Store your seed phrase offline on: January 09, 2023, 03:08:34 PM
Much better if you keep your seed phrase physically. What I mean is you can write down your seed phrase with a piece of paper and keep it in your trust case or something.
This is by far the best approach to it and that's the method I adopt. However, the downside to it is how do you assess it when you're far from home? I believe it's because of this hiccup that makes people want to save their seedphrase or passwords online/electronically so that they can easily assess them from anywhere without minding the danger of a leak. This is where being old fashioned pays, if you asked me.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My MetaMask account is gone !! on: January 09, 2023, 02:30:57 PM
however there was no option to enter the old password so I created a new one
( same as the old one ) . Once I entered those details now it takes me to a brand NEW ACCOUNT with nothing on it !! ZERO assets !!
Of course, it will show you zero assets because you just created a new wallet there. Look for the "had account" or so option and pick "import seedphrase" and you will be fine. Metamask is ok and I believe your funds are intact. The only thing that can make them gone is if you compromised your seedphrase. If that happens, you should be able to see where your funds moved to. Since you haven't seen that your funds moved it means it's still there.
1889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making post for merit on: January 09, 2023, 10:47:22 AM
My first merit was like I won a jaspot of over a million dollar. I was so excited.
I guess you meant "jackpot" there. It's a nice feeling when that happens as it shows how deeply that which one receives is appreciated.

Making post because of getting merit make one get discouraged after making several posts which you think will merited but not merited.
That's why, like a butterfly hunter, you don't go chasing a butterfly with a net. Just be still with outstretched net and the butterfly will gently come to you or fly into your nest. Don't over stress for merit. It will come when it will.

Take note merit system was implemented to combat spam there are lots of newbies before that keeps spamming or making garbage posts...
Oh, dear! This place is very sane and tidy compared to what is obtainable in other fora. This is great kudos to both meticulous members here who report these spams and the mods who also clean them up. I once moderated for a forum and can say that here is almost spam free when aligned with that other forum.
1890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcointalk is the best forum on: January 09, 2023, 08:10:53 AM
Yes, you can say that again, and again and still be correct. At the moment, this forum remains the best. It's not just because it affords users an opportunity to earn through posts made but because here serves as a repository for crypto knowledge. It was curiosity that drove me to this forum and I believe it was the same thing that drove so many others here before and after me. Here, there's a great effort at keeping shitposting at bar but we can't say the same for other crypto fora. I was once a moderator at a crypto site (it was something created like BTT) but the level of spam posts on the site was crazy. The site owner seemed to turn a blind eye to all that. So, no matter how hard we mods tried to combat it the spam kept increasing and that really pissed me off.
1891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you don't get the merit, the ranking won't go up? on: January 09, 2023, 06:32:04 AM
...and to earn a merits will be determined by a quality post, with quality post you can be able to earn merit.
This is the part where I disagree with many a user here because I see a lot of shitposts that get merited. Meriting posts isn't wholly a quality thing but subjective. It depends on the judgment and mood of whoever is sending the merit. Again, we can be right to say that certain users find it appealing to merit certain users more than others. The reason is best known to themselves. So, don't conclude that everyone who regularly gets merited are all quality posters.
1892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 08, 2023, 06:35:17 PM
Here is how you to make money trading.

Open 2 accounts, one in each exchange.

Open a long position in one, and a short position in the other. Make a video of both.

The one that you made money (no matter which one) make an online course about trading showing your video. Then sell it in Twitter/Instagram or any other social network to teach people how to trade  Tongue

I see so many "traders" selling courses. They are the ones making money.
Funny, indeed. However, despite how sad this is; there are people who cash out through that process. This is why I find it difficult believing that those who sell signals on Telegram are genuine traders. They're mere signal marketers who prey on the naivety of lazy traders to enrich themselves. Genuine traders are not likely to have much time on their hands to be dishing signals while they're on trades.

OP, don't let the losses of those you know discourage you from believing there are profitable traders around who live solely on trading. They may be infinitesimal but surely they're there.
1893  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can newbies know when it's a good track of conversation on: January 08, 2023, 05:06:18 PM
but i want to ask, how can a new newbie know when it right in conversation with people questions. Is it also possible for someone to know when it is responsible to answer question of people correctly.
You're free to respond to other member's comments, provided you're going to flow with their stream of thoughts. Don't let the ranks of members intimidate you into believing you aren't qualified to respond to them. First thing is to understand what's being discussed before you make your contributions. Otherwise, you will be making spam or shit posts but thinking you're saying something reasonable.

When i was reading the post's of others i find out this particular board is for new people, can i make suggestions in another place that is not this board.
Beginners & Help is a good place for beginners as it helps them get their questions easily answered by more experienced members. It's a kind of congregation for newbies but it doesn't mean newbies can't post or start threads anywhere else. Threads are placed in sections that befit the questions asked in the OP or its content. Of course, threads are also moved to the relevant board if they aren't placed in the right board or section in the first place.
1894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can trustwallet be hacked. can the owners take money of all the users? on: January 08, 2023, 04:50:25 PM

Trust wallet imo has been compromised since Binance took over, if one day Binance comes under investigation and shuts down like FTX. What do you think will happen to Trust wallet? Is that a risk you’re willing to take?
Do you have any evidence to that effect? Please, don't bad mouth another person's business on the ground of suspicion. You don't know how far reaching some of these comments can be on business owners. According to the principle of law, everyone is adjudged innocent until proven guilty. I don't own any share in Binance or TW but I'm simply stating my experience using either of them. I won't say something is bad just because others are saying so when I haven't had an unpleasant encounter with it. While I ain't vouching for TW, I also won't bad mouth it either.
1895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can trustwallet be hacked. can the owners take money of all the users? on: January 08, 2023, 12:22:36 PM
I don't know about other wallets you listed in the OP but I can say a thing for Trust Wallet. Yes, I've read about it being a closed source type of wallet and many have pointed to that as its major vulnerability. However, I know I've been using TW for two years now or so and I haven't had any issues with it. My funds have remained intact. While I don't want anyone misquoting me on this, I'm just sharing my experience without mincing words
1896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 08, 2023, 05:44:05 AM
I don't believe, "You Learn More from Losses than from Wins" because that's incorrect. One can learn both ways. In fact, I learnt more from my wins than I did from losses. You talked about losses like anyone wants to have them and then readjust from such. If there's anything losses will even do to beginners, it's to scare and discourage while introducing them to reality.
1897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know what is the use of rewards, and since when rewards are given to m on: January 07, 2023, 06:38:19 PM
what are the benefits of the reward?
Well, we can say that the benefit of the reward is "ranking" up, simply put. Before the introduction of the merit rule (reward, in your word) in 2018, ranking up was almost an effortless engagement. It was basically just write whatever you felt like writing and then wait for activity count to go up to expected rank. That was it. Once ranked up, one is able to get better renumeration both in signature and bounty campaigns based on one's rank. Members in the same signature campaign do similar task of meeting up certain post count but most payments aren't ever the same because of difference in ranks. May be that's about the major benefit with difference in ranks. Nonetheless, there are campaigns that have the same pay rate for all like what Chipmixer does.

How can you tell if the price is at its high? You can sell earlier, and then the price will still rise, or after the sale, you can buy too early. This is easy to say when you already see the graph, but it is difficult to do when you need to make a decision in real time.
This is the same position I've continued to maintain, and any keen trader or investor will also tell you that there's nothing like an overbought or oversold position. We only get that information or such position on the hindsight and that's after price has left the region. In the real time, no one has a way of finding out while it's happening. We often see the RSI (for those who use it) indicating such oversold or overbought situations while price still continues in the same direction.
1899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Suggest Some Free Crypto Trading Signals on: January 07, 2023, 05:15:43 PM
Those who are genuinely trying to help OP by making valid suggestions should know that OP isn't seeking any help because they're the owner of that site they indirectly advertised through that link. If in doubt, check OP's profile and you will find the same site. It's a shame that someone is trying to hoodwink the community by shilling something in pretence. I won't say much on this but I sincerely hope the rest of us know what to do on a situation like this.
1900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Nobody dont help us the traders let's help ourselfes now idea on: January 07, 2023, 12:14:28 PM
You should know that trading isn't crowd funding. It's not like anyone should even force anyone into trading. So, what's the point of asking anyone to pool resources to achieve a certain perceived objective? The whole idea of what you're suggesting has already fallen flat on its face. You don't build liquidity that way, dragging investors into what they don't have a clear picture of. They're bound to lose interest and want out. By the way, whose wallet is going to control the donation? Let's start with a response to that question first.
