The risk is the same than the other type of investment such as stock market, VUL, mutual funds, etc. Why is it? Volatility is there and you must be aware of it before investing. Most of the newbies are investing to crypto's and hopes that they'll earn and take out the profit for a very short period of time. Some are in success and some failed, to those who failed, they are the ones who are complaining that the market is too volatile but the fact they never understand on how crypto works. Friendly tip. Don't ever invest more than you're okay with losing.

I've been keeping up with Bitcoin and investing for the past year, and Im wondering if anyone thinks it will drop back down to 6 - 6.5k in the upcoming months?
I've read a lot of projections and there is a mixed consensus but several "vets" agree it's due for a big drop.
What does everyone think?
I don't think we will see bitcoin go back to $6,000. We've been there so that's basically enough for itself to recover. What will be the "big" drop they are expecting? Did we already have the biggest drop for the entire bitcoin history and it's because of the FUDs and statements that came out from various economy experts? I'm bullish on bitcoin as long as it stands on $8,000. no, 2014 was worse. in 2014 we had an 80% drawdown. so far we have only hit 70% off the 2017 high however. 2014 was the worst year in bitcoin history. mt gox blew up. REAL fud was everywhere. Still a close one but comparing the both from two different heights the biggest lost for many is from the recent one. And what's new today? I guess Mt.Gox has never got out of the issue and is still remaining involved from the current bear market that we are with. |

What do you guys think in a near future there gonna be coins like "Bit-America" or "Canada-coin", backed up by public assets, would that be a good idea
There's one already the "Petro Coin" a coin from Venezuela. I would invest if these big countries will make their own coins but I doubt that they would do. They are against to crypto's so why would they create one? Another thing is this is not the section for this topic, move it to altcoin. |

With so much predictions came from fundstrat, they are pushy with the price and that's how they encourage investors. But still they failed, most of the predictions are failing and the fuds are the ones emerging. They are not losing anything when the fundstrat army predicts but only their credibility.  |

Do you think BTC will be able to touch $15K in the month of july?
I still have the hope that we'll see it on July whether it's $15,000 or $10,000 as long as there's a progress it's not a problem. Or it would be able to recover it's price of Jan 2018.
$20,000? that's too quick unless the bullish trend will be the same just like last year. Do you think it can cross $10K before july? Month of June is going to be crucial or not ?
If not the past months are crucial then this year is going to be crucial. I'm hoping that $10,000 will be crossed for this June and moving forward on July. |

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. It could be a weakness but it's impossible for that software to guess the seed/private key of an individual. It's why satoshi is genius by thinking about private keys, usernames and passwords aren't so improving the security through making a private key is the best. There might be people who are trying to decode it out but they'll just give up because they will figure it out that it's very impossible to fetch someone's private key by just guessing all over the years. |

Bitcoin would be the coin all the time that will has the most market cap and this is why the price is still quite good although it came from a correction. After Facebook and Google, now Bing bans Crypto Ads. Perfect FUD for bears to drop the price further.

Much better idea compared on going to yobit itself. Id rather choose up on directly purchasing tokens from the main website itself. I'm not really against on Yobit but its performance and experiences to this site which really give me some nightmares wayback when I'm still using this exchange where I able to withdraw for a matter of 3 months and after that i promised not to used this site anymore. You are assured that you are not scammed unless the ICO itself will turn to be a scam. And to avoid anything that you don't want with yobit, simply don't use them. We all know that they have a very poor service so why still use them? Yes they are not scam but if you are going to visit the reputation section then you will be able to evaluate that yobit is untrusted, I have seen that one of their investor have mistakenly send 10 btc to one of their Admins and almost three months the case was not solved, so suggestion to OP, no, or else you can't have technical problem issue guide, and the response of that exchange site is taking too much time

There are alts that are being pumped now just don't look at the top 100 and if you want to invest, you better start looking for a down coin to do it right now. Many experts write that bitcoin should grow in the near future, and the altcoyins will go down a little. But this is temporary, the manipulation of the market.

They aren't scam but they are the worst exchange after all. I withdrew all the funds and would not advise making deposits there.

This is the basic strategy when investing once dropped so buy more. Be observative on the price because of unpredictable but if you are sure with the future why not invest more then collect profit afterwards of rising price.
The strategy is well known all over the world that you must buy during the lows and if you are buying during the peak then you are a newbie, you're feeling is FOMO. Most of the newbies are doing it that way, they are buying when the price is high and they are sell on panic so don't be like them although I'm pretty sure that all of us went through experiencing that wrong way of buying. Today it has dropped to $8,500 so it's a good approach to buy. Correct! You will lose a lot if you will consider bitcoin falling if it's price is going down. Instead of thinking that this is a night mare to the crypto world, why not take it as an opportunity? Be open- minded in things that are uncontrollable. Bitcoin is volatile and it is normal to reach the lowest point of value and luckily to reach the high point. There is no highest point in bitcoin because it can increase higher any time. I've been telling this to many but only few are listening. I've been also part of those newbies before who are panicking during the baddest days of bitcoin but instead of being discouraged, I've learned a lot from it. Use the volatility as an opportunity and chance to recover some of your losses when you bought during all time high's. And if you see it red, take it and advance to the next type of trading. Don't just hold and take profit, hold, trade and take profit. |
