1861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 01, 2020, 02:24:43 AM
When will we see some real activity and live updates on ETH blockchain? Any news about that?
Unfortunately, there's still none. I'm only relying to the known news websites for latest updates.  Undecided

We are here like confusion with the policy steps of the next ETH, for the time being the best decision is to wait until early next year to start for the changes and updates needed.

It would have been nice for the official ETH team to at least post regular real updates here in this forum rather than just on their Twitter
Vitalik already forgotten where he has started.  Undecided

The ETH upgrade and re-launch might be just what the market needs to start gathering more interest.

The whole crypto market has been looking very bad recently, it needs picking up.
Yes. It's probably what ETH really needs right now. The interest of the people for the update/upgrade is being talked right now and once its launch becomes successful, we might see ETH to increase again hopefully.

The Ethereum upgrade is going live on January 2!
Okay then, thanks for the link. I assume that other links will come out too to tune in for this live.

very quiet here.
anything new ??
except the bear market, that is not new.
Ethereum 2.0 and how can you expect everybody to make a noise if we're all just waiting for the turnover?
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 19, 2019, 10:19:22 AM
As i read in one artcile Ethereum 2.0 should be run in July next year. Does this means that on this date Ethereum will move to PoS?
Wait for further announcements. It might change or it could be the final date. We're all just waiting for the final date and it could be earlier or longer so you have to be patient with this update. We all want it to become smooth, all of us wanting it to see the surge in price and get your ETHs finally on its stake.

Ledger Live Adds Support for Tezos and Staking, Adds Features to Hardware Wallets

Hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has announced the latest version of its Ledger Live application, adding support for Tezos (XTZ) and Tezos staking.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ledger-live-adds-support-for-xtz-and-tezos-staking-incorporating-software-features-into-hardware-wallets
Ledger won't let themselves be at the end of the race, this is a good initiative for them and it will also start the other wallets that support Tezos probably might do the same thing. If I'll stake Tezos, I'll choose to keep it to a ledger wallet than to an exchange.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin's price is disappointing!!! on: December 04, 2019, 03:55:23 PM
If you can not handle other altcoins its normal for you to invest in bitcoin or ethereum other altcoins are hard to predict prices if the price of bitcoin is almost dropping and it will cause other altcoins.
There's a domino effect if bitcoin is stumbling, this would affect the other altcoins and that's a very known character of btc. The price are disappointing if most of your portfolio lies on altcoins and you don't prepare on this situation because you have invested into altcoins.
But while you're giving them a reminder to invest on bitcoin, I doubt it that they'll listen to it if they are currently in loss.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: November 25, 2019, 06:08:48 PM
lower high happens
I'm looking into this(all-time lows) perspective now and I don't want to lean on the all-time highs as per the market situation. I think by next year we'll see another all-time low and that will happen as expected by everyone. This market is becoming better and if all of you want to succeed and survive the bearish that we're facing right now. Don't listen to the FUDs that are spreading on media, it will make you emotional and can break your confidence.

Hi there guys, i have one simple question about eth 2.0, what is need when the time comes to migrate mine eth to the 2.0 version, currently i hold them in MEW, do i need to move them somewhere else or ?
Nothing, the network will adopt automatically once it's ready. Unless you want to stake, it's another story.

1. There is no way to know until when they'll follow their plans, it all depends on how the team manage to become hyper active and work for it.
2. Yes, if you are experienced but I'm not discouraging you to stop. It's a good experience after all.

eUnited - mibr: mibr ML, 1.36 @ BETSLIP
Good luck on this bet, I'm watching the live now and the scores on par 11-10 as of round 22.

That was close. GG mibr won 2-1, barely. I know a lot of people who went -1.5 handicap on mibr. Sadly, they all lost. mibr is so unstable atm.
Grats to them. Do you have another prediction for the round 3 matches onwards for the Blast Pro Series?

Vici Gaming - beastcoast: Vici Gaming -1.5, 1.61 @ BETSLIP
You became wrong with this prediction and bet. I'm surprised to see that Vici Gaming lost to an underdog team, Beastcoast. This team is a true beast and they've been beating the asses of these known teams. It's too early for VG to go home but well, they've lost and Beastcoast deserves to go to the next bracket. The next match for Beastcoast will be VP/Alliance and I think they can kick the asses of any of these teams. The upper bracket is just with Gambit or TNC.

~
Very sad, I'm still holding and waiting for the take off. This is an all in to me and will wait for the best news that I'll ever see in the future. I'll just have to go on with the market now and I still believe that we will see a good volume for BTX for the next months.
I'm remaining my optimistic spirit here.

This means that this project was just named after the Games of Throne series and by means isn't connected to the real management.
And saying that this is just an experiment project, risky for investors.
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✅ GreenCoin.online 🌏 - Google Challenge ✅ on: October 18, 2019, 08:12:30 AM
I've used your exchange before and sold those greencoin token that was rewarded. I can see that your exchange has improved a lot but I can't see a way to sell those greencoins on your exchange. It's not on the 'want to sell' and also on 'want to buy'. It's on other DEX but not on your exchange, why it's like that? I also saw this page, https://greencoin.online/buy_crypto_exchange/ I think that this shouldn't be part of your service. You might just want to include it if someone is interested but you should focus if you're an exchange that provides service to buy and sell.
Thanks for checking our service.
Without doubts our token will be listed on Green Exchange in future Milestones. It has no trading activity right now, so its not so easy to Sell instantly.

Our proposal to move forward step by step. From First Milestone to Second...
Our priority right now is to deserve trust. After first Milestone, participants will see result.
Okay, because it's your main exchange and you should able be to trade it there before it's listed on other exchanges. Keep improving your service and exchange and customers might come to you. And I hope that you won't be ending up a scam because I've seen you are working hard on this project ever since.

1878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2019, 08:55:46 PM
I've been taught by those people who are good in finance that rich people take loan for business and investment. But they all understand and can calculate the risk that they take and they are the ones managing the flow of their investment. Unlike taking loans for bitcoin, the risk that you will take is unmeasurable and you don't have a way to control it. Majority here tells you that don't do it which I also advise you to. I hope that you won't experience losing as the market stumbles together with your debt.
1879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: October 12, 2019, 10:13:30 PM
I've seen Dash pumped last time but it dumped quickly, what's the reason of the pump?

This is will no any answer, market has own way to up or down, flash or pump, all about price speculation can be a factor. It's mean, it happens as token holders/community wants. So, trades carefully, i think current market still not stable, so anything will happen very fast.
But someone answered it below your post. Anyway thanks for that reply.

I've seen Dash pumped last time but it dumped quickly, what's the reason of the pump?

The Dash coinbase is reduced compared to other currencies.

We have a lot of master nodes with staked coins, and this leaves a very small float in the exchanges ... for both the pumps and dumps.

The rise to $ 1600 was fed back by this fact. With few purchases at the beginning the price rose a lot, which caused others to run after the price for several weeks.

This is likely to happen again in the future, since even though the monetary base is greater today in Dash than 2 years ago, technological advances and current master nodes would justify that any strong entry or change in trend triggers the price so exaggerated

We saw it a few days ago in the Coinbase exchange where the price flew in a few minutes ... because that can be transferred to the rest of the market if there is a clear trigger.

A currency that works at the Dash level and offers 7% returns to master node holders is something that has worked, works, and will work in the future.
Your answer make sense, I was surprised to see that it had pumped for a while and then get dumped. I know that there were pump and dump coins but it's Dash and that was a bit shocking to me. Anyway, those who have made money out of that pump surely bought back at low price.

I've seen Dash pumped last time but it dumped quickly, what's the reason of the pump?

Big wale manipulators are selling their last coins. They are waiting on big alt sell walls of early crypto times, they can buy into. But the walls do not come any more, sorry for this.

You should keep in mind that science evaluated apes as better investors than human "intelligents", long term. On the stock markets apes are not present, because human "arrogants" are suppressing them as "simple minded". Perhaps animals are playing here against human "rationality" to buy back their woods. I wish them all the best.
That's kind of deep comparison though.  Smiley
