Hilarious that people are reading everything in all these Havelock threads and still trying to "invest" in their "funds", though.
I'd tell you not to give your BTC away, Phildo, but something tells me you won't listen!

Did these come from the camolist batch? I've noticed those rolls have fetched some of the nicest brass grades I have seen.
Some of my half-roll fetched MS67 after I sold 'em

Just imagine if he had the 10btc coins and an elusive 0.5 S2 to really complete the set...
They're not elusive, people are just cheap. I could find you 4 or 5 of them by the weekend! EDIT: ...but you're on your own with grading. Blazedout419's MS-70 with a chunk missing out of the rim should give you an idea of what an ANACS slab is worth.

I'd offer 0.75, escrowed. There are MS70s floating around.

LELELELELELELELELEL this fucking place. All the popcorn in the world will not suffice.
Pretty soon someone (else) is going to discover that 90% of traffic on /r/Bitcoin is just Markov chains talking to each other.
Bitcoin: We swear it's going places

iPhone won't focus very close; try backing up until the coin is in focus and zooming w/ photoshop or similar. If this is an MS-70, what's ANACS gonna do when a coin without a ding shows up, give it a 71? Slabbed coins...

Is that a scratch on the case or a ding in the coin?

Late night bump, only two coins left I have an 0.5 silver S2. Not for sale -- I said I wouldn't sell another one via this site -- but I'd been asking 25 BTC. First roll, PGP chain of custody, perfect condition. Good luck with your search!

It sounds like you're not as committed to bitcoin or want to hedge your bets by owning a ton of fiat while the price is low.
It sounds like you're smoking your socks. You think I'm buying /Zimbabwean Dollars/ as a hedge against... Bitcoin? Seriously? I've occasionally wondered if the only reason you post on this forum is to earn satoshis via signature campaigns, but I find myself wondering less and less as time goes on. ...what's your interest in buying "stacks of worthless currency"?
About the same interest I have in Casascius coins -- I like looking at different types of money.

I was curious to see what they would go for ungraded. I think every coin for sale right now is already graded...these might be the steal of the century! If anyone needs different angles of them let me know - they are clean coins.
I have two ungraded all-silvers for sale! Dat thread hijack

If the winner would like a couple of Casascius aluminum blanks tossed in let me know!
Some of my aluminum Casascius blanks have recessed areas on the back for a privkey, others don't. Just noticed today!

How can one be sure the manufacturer didn't copy the private key and cashes in unused coins after some time?
You can't unless you were there to witness the destruction of all the keys and any media they were stored on. This is where trustworthiness comes into play, and you have to believe and trust in those who made the coins that they did what they say they did. Plus, having the private keys to millions of dollars worth of BTC in your possession is a great way to get kidnapped. But still, I guarantee there's at least a couple of physical crypto vendors out there who have a copy of every private key they've ever generated.

I think that we need a section on the forum for the physical coins, can we maKe a pool? Or a formal request?
I agree. It could be split into manufacturers of coin....ie Casascius section. It would be nice to have the info on the makers in their own section, rather than searching the web for it. I think there is a thread that has many of the major makers listed and their websites. i will try to find link. Gross, no fuckin way. You'd have a thousand noobs clamoring for their own subsection just because they queefed out a bunch of stickered rounds.
