2801  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: May 04, 2017, 09:24:18 PM
Panic selling will happen anytime this day so be ready for it.im not 100% sure about it but i can feel it. Lol,im just joking.. there will be no panic selling that will happen this year and bitcoin will have a long run heading north.

Actually you may be right, the new users might get frightened to see the rise, and then they may start selling their Bitcoins. It might not be due to panicking, but its a kind of minor panic.
Yes, I did experienced that before, when I'm seeing the price of bitcoin falling, I'm a bit nervous and I was fear of missing some profit so I'm riding along with the dump and sells out some of my bitcoins. And when that happened I realized that it is also increasing again, so as of now, I'm not one of them anymore.

Right now bitcoin price are falling down rapidly after testing $1600+ levels. Some big whales started to book profits after that inexperienced traders get panic and keep selling. They will learn lesson over time.
2802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 04, 2017, 06:56:53 PM
actually most of the people do not have any sense of playing gambling they do not play according to strategy or planing, but in fact they play gambling for everything they have. and when they lose everything then they start thinking about how to get money and then they even do not refuse the bad idea like stealing, snatching and any other illegal way of earning money. so i think that is the reason that most of the religions state consider gambling illegal way of earning money.
Addicted things finally may lead to illegal activities like you have mentioned. Because people will be needing money to spend for their addictions and hence they will be starting illegal things, I have read one gambler went for bank robbery just for the sake of continuing his horse betting. When gambling leads to criminal activity and turning as a disturbance to society or at least for a family then there would be nothing wrong in considering them as a sin.
2803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: May 04, 2017, 05:57:31 PM
Gambling is a thing to do when I am bored at home and when I just feel relaxed wanting to do whatever I want. So I don't really want to have any negative feelings where I second guess if the results that I pick is right or not, it's all fun. The whole gambling experience is really fun to me and I can notice why I play it every so often because I have a calmer mood when doing so. I don't usually have a calm mood setting when playing other things.
When you are finding gambling as your stress buster, I believe there would be nothing wrong in going for it among many losses. But this will not be the case for most of the gamblers, they are getting their stress only from the gambling because they are going for it to make profits but finding only losses and then mental tensions.

When gambling will be giving you positive energy, I believe you should continue it by affording some money to do it even you are not getting any financial benefits.
2804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING & TRADING on: May 04, 2017, 05:24:06 PM
gambling is for those people who are lazy.
Does it mean trading is more active people or do you mean gambling is a source of earning for the lazy people ? Anyways I'm not ready to agree with you because there are people who are successfully into trading along with trading bots and not effectively working with it.

Gambling is for entertaining ourselves hence there will be nothing wrong in approaching gambling when we are finding ourselves lazy.
2805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What ROI you getting? How hard is to get 1% ROI per day from trading? on: May 04, 2017, 02:49:54 PM
Its posibble but depending on what kind of trader you are,if youre a day active trader then 1% per day is only an easy thing but still depends on what coin you are trading to and its better to have selections than focusing on a single currency. If youre capital is too big then expect you will put big amounts too on buying coins too to achieve 1% goal.
You are just ignoring the basic part of losses. There will be no trader could be having confident of not facing losses all the times, they might get surprised by unexpected profits and might get shocked by unexpected losses. This is how a trader's life will be going on.

I am not saying daily 1% is not possible for an active trader. But when we get struck with wrong calls, we first need to recover the losses only after that we can think about making 1% on daily basis.
2806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short Term or Long Term on: May 04, 2017, 12:47:59 PM
what is according to you best practice?
By experience, I learned trading with long-term targets always getting me decent profits compared to day trading. I tried many times intra-day trading but most of the times, I just faced  losses, yes the short-term targets are not working at all for me.

There are many deciding factors for these, but I have concluded for crypto short-term target will not work in our way because identifying a right influencing factor is completely difficult compared to any other trading type. This may be true because there are only very few influencing factors are dominating and deciding the price movements of cryptos.
2807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading ways on: May 04, 2017, 12:26:22 PM
You need to know that trading crypto currency is not the same with trading forex, the factor to determine the price is based on the market, so the rising price is based on pump and dump, you need to follow a lot of forum and updated news to know which coin they are interested, updated news is the most important element to trading crypto and then you also need to act quick when you trade because alt coin trading peak moment could last only for a moment, and you need to have experience in trading so start from small amount, after  a few trade then aim bigger amount
Exactly, compare to Forex trading it needs broker before you qualify to make a trade to their platform.
But in crypto trading, you can start trade even without a broker because just you have at least 0.002BTC in any exchange platfrom you start immediately as well. Then the technique is when the monitors act, traders take action at once.
What is qualifying in forex trading ? As far as I know, forex trading also could be done just with an email id verification and some specific payment processes will not require any verification too.

But I agree for getting into bitcoin trading, we never need any platform because we can trade with our neighbor/friends forum members independently. Peer to peer exchanges will be highly effective for protecting our identity and it will be possible for every bitcoin trader.
2808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: May 04, 2017, 08:38:55 AM
I think not only patience but strategy is also important as well. You always need to check the amount of money you can use and afford to lose in trading. So put a plan of action and always follow that. So if ever you lose some money you will not be disappointed because you follow your plan of action but unfortunately is didn't give you dividends in the end.
If we consider that trading is greed then I guess it is a wrong assumption. Sometimes the needs take you to make some wise or unwise decisions in the end either you do well with them and feel proud of it or you regret for the mistake you made by investing. The human nature is to find something better and I don’t consider it greed.
2809  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the long term outlook for bitcoin price, for 2020 and beyond? on: May 03, 2017, 08:11:23 PM
In a positive environment like there will be no regulations from government and bitcoin gets power to scale and etf gets approval (for example) then obviously we can expect increased demands to have exponential growth.

Fundamentally every halving will trigger exponential growth as supply rapidly decreasing regardless of whatever will be happening around bitcoin ecosystem.
Yes I agree. The future of the Bitcoin is conditional, if the other things don’t change such as the government regulations and stuff it will progress more. As the government regulations are the most vital for any entity or commodity to survive. If the government doesn’t interfere with bad intentions for the bitcoin it will leave no stone unturned and will develop more.
2810  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: May 03, 2017, 07:51:17 PM
Bitcoin can't lead to corruption because bitcoin is decentralized and it can't be controlled by anyone, the bitcoin is known for being decentralized and if bitcoin lead to corruption then it means that it already broke its features and it will be a huge effect for the price and it will go down.

The OP is not talking about corruption in Bitcoin. He is talking about the features of Bitcoin helping corrupt people.
While that is a concern, we should not be blaming the tools for the action of men.
Do you mean to say that ultimate authority leads to ultimate corruption. Actually we have the experience to see the corrupt people that are the corrupt characters. Also we see that there are more people against corruption. They will do nothing wrong to anyone besides being powerful. The Bitcoin is just a currency like others and it depends upon the user what he/she wants to do with it.
2811  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2000 anyone? on: May 03, 2017, 07:21:09 PM
Yes. I've been saying for a couple of weeks now that we'll see $2,000 probably by the end of summer. There's just so many factors that can affect the price, it's hard to tell what it's going to do. But, if current trends hold, we'll see it within a few months for sure!
Yes, it depends upon the situation “if”. If the other things remain constant it may cross this level at the end of the summer. But we also have to be careful as we need to watch the other things, for such a prediction you need to be a keen observer. I must mention that the bitcoin currently is at to repeat what we had in 2013, yes we may see $10k levels too within this year but it may be followed by a heavy dump too.
2812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we makeing up time for the lost years between 2013 and now or pump & D on: May 03, 2017, 04:21:35 PM
Not true at all.  The amount of liquidity on exchanges is mind-boggling small and the vast majority of Bitcoin isn't even in circulation.  It wouldn't even take a quarter of that to pump up the price that far unless loads of hodlers give up and start dumping their old Bitcoin on exchanges.

Yeah. People tend to forget that it's just a fraction of all bitcoins mined which are actually "alive" and circulating. In reality, numbers we should be considering in practical sense of market cap are definitely a lot smaller.
Yes no doubt but this highly increasing price makes many of us to think of what is going to happen to the bitcoin in the future. Though it is circulating in the market but still there is something fishy. Also it cannot be surely said that the market cap that is said to be smaller is actually the smaller one as to be pretended as the bigger.
2813  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why so much spread in price today! on: May 03, 2017, 08:28:30 AM
It's a bank holiday Monday in many parts of the world (because it's May 1st), and thus wire transfers won't be happening, and fiat isn't moving. Wait will Tuesday for normal service to resume.
Hey great speculation buddy, but feeling fear that bitcoin usally falls in high number whenever we see the sudden bump in the chart. I think we see the bitcoin price again 1200$ plus or lower than that. I am not in a holiday this day and I don't what is the occasion to off in the project in many parts of the world?. Is it any festival today to see this price difference.
I don’t know where did you figured this out? I don’t see it’s price been fallen in last 2 or 3 days it was in $1,420 some five hours ago and is now in $1440. This is something happens to the price daily it both rise and drop up to this amount daily so nothing new. The other that yes it was the international labour day today so most of the places were off it’s a holiday.
2814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: May 03, 2017, 07:40:36 AM
Prevention of gambling is a difficult decision, especially if large amount that he lost in gambling. But if he could have discipline to his himself is maybe not coming back to gambling. Addiction to gambling is a difficult thing to go back for it and they know that its hard to stay away from it.
correct, that is a very hard to do. Because its not really easy due to the gambler was already an addicted, even they lose big amount of money. So I think the better way to do with it is self control must be implement unto it, even for a little by little application of giving up.
I agree with you.
If the gambler turns into large bet, he will feel like he has nothing more to lose and he will keep gambling, that's how most of the gambling addicts runes their lives.
Once you turn into a big debt it is a very hard mission to clear yourself out from gambling.
Yes, people addicted of gambling could be seen anywhere with some in the worst conditions of the life that they suffer only because of the games they played and the bets they offered or accepted. Once you lose and get debts and especially high debts then it is so difficult to quit because they find a way out for them in the game.
2815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: May 03, 2017, 07:03:14 AM
Yes,there were many children or teens now are playing gamble .Additional things is if they know bitcoins they will be more free to gamble their money .Some of the bitcoin gambling sites dont even have restrictions on gamblers because they will dont identify the user if it was underaged or an adult one.
More young people are into gambling activities though they are under the age of 18. This happens with the usage of payment gateways that provide ease of fiat usage for any need. And as said if they were aware of bitcoin the process once again becomes very simple that they can involve without much problems.
That's true, due to lacks of policy in bitcoin online gambling, that gives minors to gamble and at a young age they can start to enjoy what is gambling and worse thing is when they get addicted because they cannot easily manage their emotion. I guess parents should be more responsible now that technology are moving fast and minors are a lot smarter than before.

They need to compete with other online casino.  If they implement AML  and KYC rule, they will be left behind.  Most of the online casino that deals with bitcoin do not have this kind of rulings and whenever they asked for identity, the player whined about it.  So, bitcoin sadly gives way for minors to play in an online Casino undetected.
Well it is not the bitcoin actually making ways for the minors to enter a casino but the casino owner is the responsible person for such illegal facts. It is the responsibility of the casino owner to not let any miner to the casino for gambling.

But where the money… the other things comes don’t matter to some of the people and sorry to say not all but most of casinos are like this.
2816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ? on: May 02, 2017, 09:07:00 PM
Bitcoin price literally doubled in one year but since $1200 price range is a little high for most of the people they rather find alternatives to direct buying Bitcoins which would be mining and as long as people can mine for themselves with a cost of even %80 of the current market price they will definitely do it, so unless difficulty increases that much as to make it more profitable to simply buy the coins and not mining them I don't see $3000 or even near $2000 in this year.
Even if ETF approves then people will go and mine instead of buying into the hype.
Home based casual mining is long gone,it is not at all profitable to mine bitcoin with the difficultly level we have, the positive side is that since the alt coin market is rising along with bitcoin people will be investing their time in mining alts and then convert those coins into bitcoin and that is the possible situation now,the speculation of bitcoin will continue and new grounds will be broken with time.
Yes exactly it is happening now. Either way whether the people convert the traditional currency or the altcoin in the end they buy bitcoin. It means that the bitcoin market is ultimately improving. The speculation of the BTC will remain and will continue but this is not a huge issue for the BTC holders because they all are ready for the situation coming to them.
2817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: May 02, 2017, 08:04:18 PM
It depends on the amount I've won. Of course when the game is hard fought then I will keep the prize and replaced back the capital. I'm a very economically person, I don't want just money to fade without buying good things. Of course sometimes I treat my family and relatives but in most cases I'm saving the prize that I've won.
Well I play for a very little amount and even if I win the amount is not too huge to do something solid with it. I play occasionally and most of the time when I win I buy food and other stuff from it and sometimes party with my friends so to enjoy the moments. It is just a fun for me, not on a serious note ever for it.
2818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 02, 2017, 06:56:57 PM
God nooo !!! why would it be a sin to gamble. some people gamble to try their luck and some people gamble for entertainment. Gambling is fun for most of the people. Just don't gamble too much and just do it for fun and everything is still good. Wink

Why would it be a sin to gamble? If you really want to know the answer to your question, it's not the place. There are many here who convey opinions, who argue that gambling is a sin or not. But ask the religious experts, they can explain the reason to you in detail. They will not give you an indiscriminate explanation.
I am sorry to say but being honest gambling is a game of the greedy people. Weather anyone accepts the fact or not but it is the truth and to understand this phenomenon you must confirm the meaning of the word greed. I must say to you to grow up be mature and be brave enough to accept the truth.

Being greedy must be a sin as per humanity if you bother to go with respect to religion basis.
2819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 02, 2017, 06:25:57 PM
Bitcoin is also a money and also an investment for me so I don't like to treat it as a money as I have fiat money to take care of my expenses so most of my coins I save for the future to get best returns on my investments.
We can all agree on the fact that bitcoin is a currency but most of us don’t treat it as such, because us bitcoin users think of it as a type of investment for the most part like gold, we earn it we save it and we hope for the price to go up, and that is the good thing about bitcoin is that it could be used the way you want it, whether to save or spend it.
2820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: May 02, 2017, 05:55:42 PM
The only disadvantage I see in bitcoin at a moment is that the usage of bitcoin is very limited and it cannot be used at most of the places for shopping or paying at restaurants as bitcoin is still new to many countries and it will take long time to reach everywhere.
Indeed, although bitcoin is popular at the moment there are not enough investments, like for regular usage which makes it hard for normal people to find a reason to use instead of fiat, and it being used less for things we really need and more for gambling and other things like in the black market, gives it a bad reputation, but I think in the future this will eventually change as it becomes more and more popular.
