startet mining when DGCS was still mining on SHA port but then was grey listed and gone. wth?!

and crackfoo..check orbitcoin on neoscrypt pls. its bugged like hell. blocks are added after or every xx minutes.. sometimes 30min sometimes a hour later and never confirm?!
i have still immature coins after 7 days on DHKWtVUo8ZhE38fQzhrsLjTrTaC7DuTbho.. i have it on 9BGgVW7AJDtW42uRXdhRd2HBqEJbQ2qVea too.
We dropped it cause it wasn't getting mined and was just using resources. I've put it back on and i'll give it a week, but I don't think it'll be profitable to mine enough. It's why we suggest to use BTC as your payout as this can happen anytime with altcoins. Yeah, something fishy with ORB and some recent changes to my code. It's off the stratum for now until it's sorted. |

Because it's someone else's block that made it into the chain. what do you mean?multiple persons find the same block at the same time or how does that work? Exactly, and whoever get it into the chain first wins, and all the others are orphans |

I have got a problem.
I use Pool Suprnova and my miner tells me "Pool 0 not providing work fast enough" all few seconds and the hashrate decreses by 50% and climbs again.
That's super annyoing and it costs a lot of hashpower.
I changed the Port to another diff. but still the same problem.
Is it a problem with the pool or with my miner?
I use cgminer 3.7.2 on Windows 7 64 bit.
sent PM as well, but have you tried another pool? Would be a good test to confirm if it's you or the pool. |

Yes, it should correct itself on the next payout. In 10-15 mins or so. Looks like it has, new timestamp and a tx id. Thanks. Great. Found a bug from the addition of DCR since they have longer addresses so will work on fixing that so it doesn't happen again. |

tbearhere - have you checked the ports? Some of them are not the same as hashpower.
Yes I did.....but rechecking again. Thx EDIT: bingo..... found it one port was wrong. I had port 5433 instead of 4533 for lyra2v2. Thx again  Happening again. Looping around. Crackfoo was the pool down? It's working now but was the pool down? shouldn't have been... I was tweaking some neoscrpyt settings as there seems to be 4-5k miners connecting |

Yup, happened on zpool too. Shark was reporting the same btc value for a block as darknet when it should be about .17 dnet. I don't think it affected the profitability calculations. When things settled down I got pretty much what I expected on both pools. when the quark algo jumped to 0.8 estimate on hashpower, I went to zpool to have a look and it was at 0.3 there. my pending balance on HP went up to X then dropped instantly to X/3. so yes, the estimates were screwed on hashpower but not on zpool, as far as I understand. I noticed the issue a lot sooner which was on cryptopia and no longer send SAK there. |
