301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your thoughts on energy projects? on: June 17, 2018, 10:30:13 PM
Smart resource consumption I think is an inevitability and one that is enabled by blockchain. It's simply superior to share energy and not waste when there is no need to, and blockchain is the missing component that can allow simple sharing. I think it's viable to participate in energy projects, making sure of course that you're getting involved in a solid project and not some snake oil.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is there a possibility that Ethereum will reach $200 this year? on: June 17, 2018, 10:26:16 PM
Popular opinion suggests that prices will achieve ultimate volume when resources put into crypto becomes equal or less than the value earned. Essentially, when miners start to see losses, the bottom is in. I think the bottom is much higher than a $200 ETH.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tether manipulation did not let this market grow organically! on: June 17, 2018, 10:24:26 PM
I think the real offender was the ICO craze. Every time people buy into ICOs with crypto they already hold, they essentially double or sometimes triple the mcap of global crypto. For example if I hold 1 BTC, some entity hosts an ICO which I buy into, there is now 1 BTC worth of coins and that 1 BTC that the team holds. If you take ETH to get NEO to participate in NEO ICO, that's 3x an effect. If you start with dollars, then it's 4x. Coincidentally, when ICOs had to start paying operation costs, they had to sell crypto for fiat payments. Now those duplicate gains are being erased.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My personal research on what ICO to invest in to ensure your investment.. on: June 17, 2018, 10:20:57 PM
I would say, do not invest in any ICO that's attempting to create a "financial ecosystem". There are HUNDREDS of cryptocurrencies who make that their aim. It's the low hanging fruit, so to speak, because just the nature of being a cryptocurrency means you are working towards some financial platform. I write for nulltx (formerly The Merkle) and probably 1/3 of sponsored content we get are for "fintech cryptos". Especially when you already have Stellar, Ripple, Salt that encapsulate pretty much everything needed for fintech.

I'd be careful with esports tokens. Gamecoins have been hit exceptionally hard this bear trend and all leading projects seem to have faced massive legal and otherwise obstacles. Not to mention, there are gaming projects worth less that offer more than this ICO.

Stealth project does look nice. I'm not sure if 30 mil hardcap is too high, but seems to be a project that should see serious adoption.
305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Shibes.Poker - Longest-running & Friendliest Crypto Poker Site now accepts BTC on: June 17, 2018, 06:37:00 PM
Is Poker Shibes still active? Looking to get back into some crypto poker... I know most rooms are now dead or dwindling activity. Can I find a table on Poker Shibes?
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: June 17, 2018, 06:15:48 PM

Glad to see one more non-bounty hunter Wink
Hey you you said unfortunately this is all true,
as for you do you keep holding?

Yes ,my plan is to hold on til the pump if it ever happens .

It is frustrating with how far behind everything has been. In my phone's notepad, I made my crypto predictions for the upcoming year. For GAME/MGO, I expected a breakout in July. I supposed its still possible, but the idea is all the core features released and people beginning to play Pixel Wars and what have you. I'm certain we will see this eventually, Pixel Wars looked great in Beta. Everything is just moving at a snail's pace.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elite [MANDATORY UPDATE] 1.337% APR | POS ONLY on: June 17, 2018, 06:01:11 PM
Has there been much update on the Minecraft server? Patiently awaiting its release Cheesy

Hey..its coming along well. Will keep you guys posted.

Wonderful! I've been playing Minecraft for years and still come back to it each summer with my old group. Really excited to earn and trade 1337 on the server!
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: June 16, 2018, 10:27:30 PM

The development of the coin is active here?

Something from the roadmap is delivered?

what scares me most is that 95% of folks posting in this thread are bounty hunters.

you right, only bounty hunters here cuz all investors have abondoned the ship. SCAM confirmed

Dont agree with you.

I've been holding GAME since 2016 and continue to hold MGO from ICO. Yes I'm down from initial purchase but also have swing traded and arb'd pretty effectively and averaged down. I still believe in GNation and MGO. I'm holding for when GPlay goes live and everyone and their dog is playing Pixel Wars (try it if you get a chance, it's super fun). At that point GPlay profits will be dedicated to buy-back and burn of MGO, which will shoot things northwards very quickly.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A library of valuable crypto articles on: June 16, 2018, 04:00:50 PM
MARKET Protocol's medium has a ton of great, in depth educational articles. Much of the content is focused towards financial markets and derivatives exchange (which the project is focused on) but there is also good content on the tech behind smart contracts. https://medium.com/market-protocol They are also posting new stuff about once a week and all seems to be worth the read.

Thank you for this article!
Was not able to post the last days, but now i am online again!

Yes, of course! Would like to know what you think of nulltx.com (formerly themerkle.com) as a source for crypto information? I'm a writer there and try to prioritize informational articles above all else. Have written several "beginner guides" and a number of posts about certain aspects of crypto, from bounty hunting tips to macro trends.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Prices on: June 16, 2018, 03:57:55 PM
The price incongruencies is arbitrage. Especially on smaller exchanges, people who buy in or sell out with market orders can dslodge a coin from it's price across other exchanges. Arbitrage opportunities used to be much more blatant- 20% or more every day back in 2015-2016. Unfortunately now the trader is in constant competition with bots who perform arbitrage automatically. Driving the profit margins of arb down massively.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your opinion about Wanchain and Icon on: June 16, 2018, 03:52:34 PM
so apparently the popular Icon (ICX) is having issues with their smart contract and the token is now disabled, that's all I know about Icon: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/8rfm9w/all_transfers_of_the_800m_marketcap_icon_icx_are/

I'm an ICON holder, but this news is very unsettling. Essentially, a network-breaking one character typo went unseen by all the covers and testers (if any). It begs the notion that ICON isn't prepared for it's valuation.

Regardless, the concept behind ICON is fascinating and there is significant value behind the "blockchain of blockchains" approach pioneered by ICON. ICON is seeing worthwhile use in Korea and that growth should certainly expand to other nations globally. I'm still holding for the long game.
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin hold $6,075.04. on: June 13, 2018, 11:40:53 PM
If $6,075.04 is not breached it will be a good opportunity to buy in on BTC and ALTs
This could be the magic number!

Cost of mining if I am correct in China is about $3500+- and we can go to that level. However, next levels could be $5k - very psychological price.
By the way, we saw miner in China been working for a loss previously for short period of time. However, in the longtime crypto community is growing, thus long-term price may grow quite a lot.

Recent post on /r/Bitcoin suggested that institutional investment is waiting to the point where miners are in danger of losing profitability. I imagine that some of the inefficient and higher electricity cost set ups are beginning to approach that point in time where they are gonna be dangerously close to mining at a loss. When we get to the point where hashrate stalls or even reverses due to the decreasing prices (which may be dangerously soon?) Things should begin to shape up for the better.

Here is the post https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8qfbwd/heres_what_institutional_investors_are_waiting_for/
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin hold $6,075.04. on: June 13, 2018, 11:38:32 PM
My technical analysis suggests that the true bottom will be $6,044.72. So no, the magical $6,075.04 mark will not hold  Grin

But in all seriousness- whether we've hit the bottom or not - most of the bear trend has ran its course. If BTC drops to 6k or holds at 6.3k, or falls into the 5k range- doesn't really matter. It will hit 19k and beyond again eventually, and I think the trend of everyone losing money is nearing its termination.

315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) The Drops - What action should be taken? on: June 13, 2018, 01:49:14 AM
TRON (TRX) Increasingly Dropped - After a successful MainNet launch, TRON (TRX) appears to be preparing to restore investor confidence by ensuring that the system does not run into problems during and after token migration. With a major exchange that supports the platform technically, others have come out to register tokens.

Justin Sun, founder of the platform seems to be on top of the entire process and creates much needed hype for independent blockchain. However, there are indications that investors are getting impatient when it comes to TRX prices.
The coin is overvalued, which in principle is now displayed on it. Yes, there was a surge in price and demand, but it seems that the excitement has passed and the tron has returned to its usual indices of an unattractive middle.

Simply put, Tron fundamentally does not belong as a top 10 market cap. Yes, an argument could be made that is offers more utility than BTC/LTC/BCH (which is still a stretch), but the fact of the matter is there are dozens of projects with greater potential and fundamentals than Tron that are being valued far below it. TRX could very easily fall to the low end of Top 50

317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Best SEC-Compliant ICOs? on: May 21, 2018, 06:01:41 PM
Hey all, I'm looking to put together a list of current ICOs that are compliant with the US SEC. Of course, most offerings do not meet this criteria, so I'm sure this is a very niche list.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: **Crypto trading signals** (share what you're targeting) on: May 21, 2018, 05:56:12 PM
-Coin: WISH
-Price: 2k sats
-Target: 20k sats
-Stop-loss: None
-Reason: Small cap coin with just a 5 mil market cap. Currently offers Ethereum and Bitcoin smart contracts, NEO is slated by the end of May (team has never missed a deadline). No reason this won't go further up.

-Coin: CHI
-Price: 2k sats
-Target: 200k sats
-Stop-loss: None
-Reason: Currently in ICO, Chimaera is the first second generation gamecoin. They've built a custom blockchain with a gamified-lightning network (called game channels) that solves the cost, speed, and scalability issues that plague Ethereum games. From the creators of Huntercoin. They've only raised 2 mill currently.

319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COSS set to be on the same trajectory as BNB & KCS. on: May 21, 2018, 05:45:03 PM
Fiat gateway flopped. I've been holding COSS since $1 and it's my worst performer. COSS needs to get people interested in trading by offering a sleek UX/UI. People didn't flock with fiat even though everyone said it would happen. Hoping the exchange can get it together soon...
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Decentralized Autonomous Organizations Running/in Development? on: May 05, 2018, 02:07:33 AM
Hey all, I'm doing a research paper on blockchain technology as a mode of production, in which a large portion will be focused on the concept of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations. I know of two current ones: DASH budgeting and DigixDAO, and one in development: Chimaera DAU.

Of course, I know there is potentially others currently up and running and I'm sure plenty more in development or conception stages. Does anyone know of some other examples of DAOs I can explore further?
