461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: August 30, 2017, 02:51:45 AM
As I understand it, the dmarket is a competitor to GAME, what are the advantages of the GAME, the project is very interesting, although it was released long ago

By the way, is there Russian sipping? Please send a link, please

The advantages of GAME include the fact that it's an actual, working product. DMarket is just another imaginarium token, a flavor of the month if you will. If you are bullish on cryptocurrency in video games, GameCredits is the only sound option to take priority in. The mobile play store is already launched with exclusive, awesome content that is going to host a crypto economy and esports tournaments soon.

464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [PEPECASH] 🐸 Pepecash / RarePepe 🦄 Spepeculation Topic on: August 16, 2017, 11:58:25 PM
https://twitter.com/Altcoin__NEWS/status/831413261677498369

apparently bittrex wants to add pepecash since february and just wait to hear from a dev or something? its an XCP asset though, so it should be pretty easy to add.

anyone know more?

Is this referring to Pepecash or Pepeclone's new shitcoin kekdaq? Bittrex has mentioned in the past they wouldn't list something under the ticker PEPE because it incites hate speech.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: August 16, 2017, 11:54:14 PM
Whatever the reason is behind this recent increase I don't know but I like it is being traded heavily. Things would be really different when MGO will be traded at Bittrex in future. It was down for some short period of time but it was supposed to bounce back because of the features and developers team working to bring the platform into existence.

what may be the cause behind recent pop up, you dont know? do you really bother to read few pages? comeon you are not a new member.  and there was progressive developement from day 1. but price was low. if everyone would count on features, price would never go under 7p cents. hope you will find some answers

If you're referring to launch of Pixel Wars and GStore, I don't think that has anything to do with price surge, unfortunately, as prices tanked right after GStore launch. Price is surging due to Bittrex announcing ERC23 support, which means MGO will be traded on there very soon.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos's list of altcoins with some technical merit on: August 16, 2017, 11:51:56 PM
I'm not going to sit here and argue about coins I think are revolutionary (GameCredits) which you probably write off as useless, but I would like to know your thoughts on CounterParty. I'm surprised you don't see it as having any technical merit.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lordmancer II - a mobile MMO RPG where a player can mine cryptocurrency on: August 16, 2017, 08:11:01 AM
Read thought your white paper. One thing I don't really understand is the statement made in the name of this thread, "player can mine cryptocurrency", I can't really figure out how you mean that the player does that? And if there is an explanation in the white paper, let me know where:)

Yup it is stated that the players earn LC doing specific tasks. Basically rewards for completing some tasks.
Which bought me to another question. Is there a maximum total coin?

But they are not mining in a technical sense? They are actually earning preening tokens, or am I wrong? +1, is there a mac number of tokens? And what will happen to the game when you run out?

According to the announcement, (under the LordCoin section) LordCoin Tokens can only enter the game when they are first purchased on a crypto exchange or with fiat. Essentislly, this project is no more inventive or revolutionary than Guild Wars gold, or any premium mmo currency for that matter. Additionally, ICO spending % (50% marketing 30% dev 20% operation) is an exact copy of MobileGO breakdown, which, obviously, raises some concerns.

At the end of the day I can't help but wonder why create your own currency for the game when you could have simply partnered with a universal gaming currency project (this would have gone great with GameCredits mobile game store).
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: August 14, 2017, 09:47:36 PM
I bought at 21k satoshi having thought that I took dip but people are suppressing heavily the price to test the strong and weak hands last time. I do agree that this dump is last because dates for some nice updates are approaching fast as well. Holding and waiting for good times is only thing to get out as successful investor now.

Good for you. I'm buying as soon as Liqui credits my BTC deposit. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I bought in at 21k... I've placed buys from 55k all the way down...
469  Other / Archival / Re: Enjincoin ICO team behaving suspiciously like a scam ICO operation on: August 13, 2017, 10:41:32 PM
Hey guys, I'd like to input my two cents. You may have seen on the front page one of my forum posts embedded in someone's deleted post. I am an active user of Enjin (though not nearly as much as I used to be- more on that below) and also one of the first to express my doubts about the project.

Now, from an investing standpoint- I think Enjincoin is a terrible investment. I don't think Enjin will be able to market or even make their userbase (who are gamers and children, not crypto enthusiasts) acknowledge Enjincoin. I think their plan for adoption by giving Enjincoin to communities is going to fail- I think many communities are going to have buyback programs for the Enjincoins they hand out, where players can trade back the coin they earn for incentives within the community- thus defeating the purpose of having players actually use and trade the coin.

With that being said, I do not think it's fair at all to consider this project a scam. While I'm personally cynically on the need for an Enjincoin to achieve these purposes, I think the team of this project is more than legitimate, and I think the product they set to create is easily tangible and will come to fruition. I could not say this about 95%+ of recent and current ICO projects.

In regards to the dropping playerbase, I can attest firsthand to, in my opinion, what is leading to this decline. The people who used to play Minecraft are not the same as the ones who play now, and those who play now play differently. What I mean is, all the servers millions of people were playing 3-7 years ago all shut down, and they all used enjin. To give you a firsthand example, this is the enjin community for a server I primarily played on for many years. Notice how the home page has over a million impressions. Thousands of people played on here. http://thesavagerealms.enjin.com/ It's been down since 2014 I believe. This isn't a standalone incident. All the popular servers (a majority of whom used Enjin) have been overtaken by a more casual brand of Minecraft, one which does not really sustain any forum activity. Beyond this, the few popular servers modeled after the old ones I've run across have implemented their own dedicated forums. This can be attributed to more professional servers (popular minecraft servers make millions of dollars, which has translated into more professionals being on board server teams) which have the resources to build their own websites and forums. With that being said, there are still popular servers that use Enjin. Here is one I play on from time to time: http://www.dungeonrealms.net/home

Basically, what I'm trying to say, is that although I'm very skeptical of Enjincoin from a financial standpoint, I'm not sure if it's fair to accuse it of being a scam. This is a company with millions of users that has been around for about a decade. I'm not sure if that could be said about any other ICO team to date.

Here's proof of my enjin account, which I've been using for maybe 6 or so years: https://www.enjin.com/profile/1221375/wall?sesstoken=7b4aa4bda749fb6730c6d73e0180a09f

Has the gamecredit platform started running?
Look forward to buyback plan

Yes! It's up and running. Very slick and easy to use. Check out play.gamecredits.com

Right now, the game everyone is excited about is Pixel Wars. It's an MMORPG by Datcroft, and it's going to be the token game for GNation's introduction to E-Sports. People are gonna be able to participate in tourneys and wager against one another.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: August 13, 2017, 10:10:07 PM
After playing Pixel Wars for a few days now, I have to say I'm very excited to see the climate around the game once more players are involved and tournaments take place. I couldn't be any more bullish on GAME and MGO if I tried.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: August 12, 2017, 03:51:05 AM
Really great updates, I'm pumped for what's to come. Pixel Wars is very fun to play, and I know this is just the beginning of what's to come.

My major concern now is how GStore connects with the billions of worldwide gamers. There seems to be a lot of advertising and pushes to raise awareness to the crypto community, but where are the efforts to bring in the non-crypto gaming community? That's when mass adoption will take place.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: August 10, 2017, 07:20:32 PM
Wow nice update to the products page!!!!

My favorite:

PIXEL WARS: "A Massive Multiplayer Online RPG game for Android and iOS. It has an incredible engine able to smoothly render epic 100-player battles. Supports GameCredits out of the box."

Big-time user adoption incoming. Holding this one. Check  it out!

I'm really excited about Pixels Wars. Been bugging Jack about when it's launching since it was first announced. I can't wait to play on it, and hope I can translate my success in the game to MGO earnings! If this game is as great as it looks, I think a lot of people will flock to G Store.

Hey Clover, new art showcase looks beautiful! Can't wait for what's to come. How can I purchase the booster cards? I've been trying to find out where to do so but I can't seem to find where to go to make the sales.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 06, 2017, 10:14:05 PM
Yesterday, while I was loopy on pain meds (just got my wisdom teeth out) I sold half of my XEL and put in a buy order to buy back 10% lower. The only problem is I didn't make a buy order... I made a second sell order... and checked today to see all my Elastic was gone. Tbh I want to off myself.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RUSTBITS ICO Ends July 31 - 19M tokens sold - RPG Adventure Card Game on: August 05, 2017, 09:30:49 PM

I think it's about whether you've collected free BCH. From the BTC obtained in the ICO.

No I haven't collected it.  Technically it's there, but I haven't gone through any process to access it.

I think you have to do it.
Support the project with free cash. Someone wrote above that the price is currently 50% of the price ico. This is strange because the project looks interesting.

It is better not to worry the team about BCash tokens, the tokens are there for claim and he can use the fund when he deems fit, we should trust him with his decisions on how to make the project successful

Realistically, the BCH could be used to fund Bittrex addition requests. Last I heard, you can get added for 3 BTC. Not sure what the price is currently, but I'd assume that ICO BCH could cover the fees for listing on there.

EDIT: @Clover- where can I go to purchase the Rustbits playing cards?
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RUSTBITS ICO Ends July 31 - 19M tokens sold - RPG Adventure Card Game on: August 05, 2017, 06:47:54 AM
So the current situation is a bit disappointing. But I think Dev will somehow improve it.
Dev what do you think of exchange - liqui.io? Or bittrex? Is there any chance that the coin will hit the big exchange?

I'm working to get the token listed on other exchanges, but I'll say, it's the most difficult part of this project.  What's happened in the coin/token world of late is that the exchanges are bombarded with requests to add coins and tokens and most have become jaded to the requests. Some still have an open mind, but it's all about getting on their radar. Have I submitted to polo, bittrex, and others? Yes, absolutely... Do I follow up in slack, emails, and their ticketing systems, yes.  That being said, so are all the other 1000 coins in this forum, so it's not easy to convince them that I'm A) legitimate and B) we have a following with demand.  I'll tell you what I've been telling everyone else, that getting added isn't easy but I'm working on it and that I also need the community to help by also asking them to add rustbits. It's a dual effort, they more demand they have, the more they're willing to add the coin. Join the bittrex slack and tweet them and ask them to add rustbits, every bit helps: http://slack.bittrex.com https://twitter.com/bittrexexchange

A good exchange to shoot for is tuxexchange, which is a small (yet professional) exchange that specializes in counterparty assets. It's where pepecash is traded mostly. I'll ask about rustbits integration in their telegram channel. Very interactive people who run the exchange, I'm sure I can at the very least get them to consider it.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: August 05, 2017, 06:07:34 AM
Hi Dev's

Taken from white paper:

"The Opportunity With MobileGO Crowdsale
With a $50 billion mobile market, acquiring just a fraction of market
penetration results in large revenues: 0.2% market share alone is $100
million a year"

You are in lala land if think you can get anywhere near $100 mill revenue of those numbers.. How much of the $50 billion mobile market will/do use Cryptocurrency as a form of payment ?

MobileGO provides incentives for Gamers (universal currencies, real world payouts, betting systems, tournaments, etc) as well as incentives for developers (lower fees/quicker payouts). It's not unnatural to assume that MGO has potential to take over a tiny fraction of mobile gaming, since they provide a product which has advantages over existing competition.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: August 04, 2017, 09:54:20 PM

Sounds like a lot of butt hurt from you two. If folks in slack learned to scroll and search, I guarantee you he wouldn't be as "offensive" or "arrogant". Dealing with the same questions over and over again from NOOBS who don't know where to direct questions (when bittrex?? --> ASK BITTREX) or where to look for answers (there's a search bar! OMG! GOOGLE!) really does cause frustration. Miko works hard to make sure slackers don't get scammed, so I commend him for his efforts and hope he stays around.

You'd expect a moderator of a major platform to be a little more professional. There are more professional ways in talking to potential investors and traders. It's just not a good look regardless if this Miko character is in the right. You don't see reps of major corporations telling ppl to go fu$k themselves on public forums do you?

Agree with this 100%. I haven't spent much time in the slack, but if the assertions that this MODERATOR has been publicly bashing supporters of his foundation, then that is absolutely unacceptable and he is entirely unfit to hold a public position. Look at how Jack handles himself, he doesn't tell people to go fuck themselves even tho he gets asked "when bittrex" 1000 times a day.

Few free bucks if anyone wants it: buy MGO on Liqui and sell to me on cryptopia for a profit. I can't seem to deposit onto Liqui right now, not sure if it's because I'm on mobile... But I really want more MobileGO!!!
