961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: July 02, 2016, 10:49:41 PM
Hey guys, I just stumbled back across miningrentals.com and noticed I still had a significant balance. I rented out a 400Mh/s scrypt miner, and connected to the mining pool over here: http://p2pool.e-pool.net:8897/static/. On my rental page, my hashing power is staying at a flat 0 on the rental page. On the pool's page, it shows my miner working at 23~MH/s, but it is also rejecting about 98% of the hashing power. Did I do anything wrong? And should I go on to another pool? Or am I being scammed by renting a miner that is currently offline? I wanted to use the ispace pool, as I've mined there in the past with no troubles whatsoever, but when I tried to log in, I couldn't remember my password, and it locked me out after 3 attempts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WAVES : Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 02, 2016, 08:04:45 PM
You guys should stop arguing about the price. Anyone who invested in an ICO Scamcoin that hasn't split this far in is just asking for their money burned. Lifespan for these thereum tokens are a week or two, max. It's your own damn faults for getting too greedy and trying to catch it at the top as it came tumbling down.

Is it too late to join in on the twitter/facebook/newsletter campaigns? Also, are the mining bonuses still available? This looks like a fun little coin, unfortunately I didn't see it sooner.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【BOT】C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader 4.0 LifeLicense 14 API -25% OFF!!! on: July 01, 2016, 10:21:18 PM
I've been following this thread for quite some time, but always been too hesitant to buy. A few questions:

Is the current 25% off advertise already factored into the prices shown, or will it be 25% off of that?
What single market do people use most? Poloniex?
What is average ROI and how much principle BTC is recommended for trading?

Thanks!

Hi,
25% must be applied on the total value.
If you wants CAT + Poloniex you will have 0.5 + 0.15 = 0.65 - 25% = 0.4875

After Cryptsy deception Poloniex is the most used exchange.

You can trade with any amount, but if you trade with 0.1 BTC you can't have a fast ROI.
Of course if you trade with 5-10 BTC you can ROI FAST.

BUT, any person must understand that a good bot is something that allows you to create your strategy, and not a magic money machine.
Se if you create a terrible algorithm, you will loose money.
And i like to be very clear on this aspect : never believe someone who tells you that with his bot you can press 2 button then go to sleep and check your gain next morning

 Smiley

Oh I see, so the .5 BTC base price gets you all the "Free" markets, and you must pay a premium to get Poloniex and others? Is there any deal to buy the program for just a single exchange? Like, for example, just for Yobit?
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Memetic - [MEME] Memetic Core 1.0.2.5 Mandatory Update r5 - Bittrex - Memech on: July 01, 2016, 08:58:55 PM
This coin is embarrassing. You know, when it first launched, I thought Memetic (Pepecoin then) was a great idea. I was duly awarded, and thankfully, I took my profits and exited early.

Why is this coin embarrassing? Well, the focus of this coin is still Pepe. I don't give a shit how inclined you all are on altcoin markets, you are all fucking novices when it comes to meme markets. Pepe is a DEAD MEME. The rare pepe economy collapsed MONTHS ago. Pepe isn't even the top frog anymore (See: Dat Boi). A new era of memes has taken center stage, an era dominated by Songegar, Trump, and, of course, Dat Boi. If you guys want to see this coin rebound at some point, you need to do a complete overhaul of the aesthetics. A Pepe based 'meme' coin is only destined for failure.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO CLOSED | RISE WITHDRAWAL ENABLED | MAINNET LIVE | TRADING ON BITTREX on: July 01, 2016, 08:50:31 PM
What was final ICO price in USD?

Actually i bought rise at 0.0068

Received 9900 after paying 0.09btc

Then when the ICO ended which wasnt long after my Rise Balance dropped to 4422.025 and the line " they're worth more" was supposed to suffice.

Still doesnt make sense to me and once launched it never really went beyond 1600 sat but was listed around 1968.

So as much as I'd like to say I purchased RISE at 0.0068 with the 50+% cut they took away from my coin balance I was charged over ICO price so there's no profit here at this time.

If Rise doesn't do what it's name suggests then yes I'd probably see this as a scam on that " reorganization of coin amount alone". That was a sneaky way to charge people more for less.

I guess I'll have to see how this goes but this is my first ICO and most likely my last with the exception of BRK which is already on Bittrex.

I jumped on Nautilus at a great time so tripled my coin there. No ICO buy in yet it worked in my favor .

Since you're new to the whole ICO Scamcoin phase I'm going to give you a few tips to better invest in the future:

1) All ICO coins are Scamcoins. Don't regard them in any other way. The thereum bullshit they claim to do is a load of garbage. They are all shitcoins.

2) The more "freebies", the worse for you. Affiliate programs, huge giveaways, generous campaigns, all bad. People who get free coins don't have to worry about ICO prices.

3) The sooner you sell off, the better.

4) Traders get less stupid over time. With every coming ICO, it will be more difficult to make a profit.

Glad to see Billary is still booming! We should expect to see a significant increase late in July when Hillary is officially announced as the Democratic candidate during the convention. After that, steady rises throughout the presidential race, with another BOOM when our overlord is elected president!

970  Economy / Services / Re: [SELL] spammer hunting services for signature campaigns owners! on: June 20, 2016, 07:10:26 PM
I saw that Rollin.io has a bounty sistem.
As for what I saw around managers aren't quite doing their jobs!

I mean just checking last posts on 50 users doesn't mean that he sees if the user is double posting a post from page 2 on page 9!

What I'm offering is a bad ass mother fucker service! All users involved in dig campaigns are knowing that spam is not tolerated and if I mark them as spam I will prove that their post is spam ! This being said the promoter is not forced to pay the user anymore with 5 BTC but instead he will pay me 75% of what the users should have received! It's a win-win-win situation! I win, promoter wins and forum wins!

It's not a win for the signature campaign. It doesn't matter if a person is spamming or not, they are getting the exposure they want either way. Yes, they employ anti-spam rules to keep the forum clean, but in the grand scheme of things, they get the same service from their participants if their posts are spam or organic. Paying you 75% of what they would be paying someone to host their signature on hundreds of posts for essentially nothing is not a sound business decision for them. Maybe you could get business at 5% or something.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES Price speculation on: June 20, 2016, 07:07:04 PM
there so many speculation i heard about that waves will become 20$..
that's why during ICO i bought 500 waves, for trial only..

I'd be surprised if WAVE can maintain a price of 20 cents. Take away the hype and FUD and it's just another shitty ICO Scamcoin. Lisk is already dropping and it's unlikely WAVE will be able to maintain a price higher than LSK. If you haven't sold already you missed the bulk of your pofits.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves is selling on bittrex tonight lets see what the majority will do on: June 20, 2016, 03:48:22 AM
I already sold out all my WAVE on yobit today for a healthy profit. Will absolutely NOT be dabbling with them on Bittrex. It was a good ride, but the wave is coming to shore soon. Perpetual dumping will take place when Bittrex launches WAVE support. It's ultimately an ICO shitcoin with no real use, it's going to die off soon enough like all the others before it.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: DAO Attacker Identified!! on: June 18, 2016, 08:58:15 PM
Looks like the guy is allegedly bribing miners to refuse any sort of fork. If that's the case, they won't be able to get anything from him outside of court. This is bad news for Ethereum. Terrible, even. Regardless of the outcome, Ethereum is going to be hurt in the longrun, and DAO is as good as dead.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 18, 2016, 08:53:52 PM
Waves could be 0.001 on yobit soon even with deposits  Shocked

Looks like price will rebound with the initial dumps, I'd expect it to stabilize somewhere between what it's at now and .001. Once it launches on Bittrex we'll see it dip down again, then reestablish at a new high. Unsure as to what the outcome will be when added to poloniex.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Spells of Genesis - Innovating the Game Economy with BitCrystals (BCY) on: June 18, 2016, 08:51:34 PM
Hey everyone, looks like BCY are cheap as hell right now. I transferred about $100 worth of BTC over to poloniex, going to try to buy a good amount as close to the bottom as possible, because I definitely think it'll be rebounding soon enough.

Anyways, can someone give me a run down on the current state of the project, and what I need to know? Or link me to some place I can educate myself? Thanks!

976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 18, 2016, 08:48:37 PM
yobit puts some fake trades in history so they can foul some guys to trade, lol so desperate.

Proof? Oh, you have none.  No need to be so butthurt that you coin is going down in value by the minute.  Kiss

Go to yobit BTC-WAVE, click on 7 day chart. See the grey columns? That means 50+ BTC "bought" at that point in time. Now look at the order book and riddle me this: how can you buy or sell 50+ BTC worth of WAVE in one go, without significantly moving the price up or down? That's proof enough for me. Same can be observed at LSK and ETH at yobit, by the way.

I have the suspicion, that the price dump at yobit is either initiated by yobit itself to revitalize actual trading, or by someone who wants to buy Waves elsewhere (probably here in the market section).

The price dumped happened because they tweeted they would manually be accepting WAVE deposits... First people to deposit dumped, not that hard to conceptualize. I don't think any foul play is going on, higher volumes earlier with little price movement were simply a sign of a lot of action on either side. IOf course the first people to sell instantaneously will take that option, that's only natural.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: DAO Attacker Identified!! on: June 18, 2016, 08:34:05 PM
Where did you hear the news from? Also, what is (s)he being charged with? Post a link or it's just a made up rumor.

Ironically in another thread there were people saying the attacker was planning to sue the ethereum and DAO devs if they try to change the code to stop him claiming the coins he has. The DAO rules say the code is the final decider in a legal dispute, and the code's rules allowed him to attack the DAO, so it could be argued the hack was legal.

===== BEGIN SIGNED MESSAGE =====
To the DAO and the Ethereum community,

I have carefully examined the code of The DAO and decided to participate after finding the feature where splitting is rewarded with additional ether. I have made use of this feature and have rightfully claimed 3,641,694 ether, and would like to thank the DAO for this reward. It is my understanding that the DAO code contains this feature to promote decentralization and encourage the creation of "child DAOs".

I am disappointed by those who are characterizing the use of this intentional feature as "theft". I am making use of this explicitly coded feature as per the smart contract terms and my law firm has advised me that my action is fully compliant with United States criminal and tort law. For reference please review the terms of the DAO:

"The terms of The DAO Creation are set forth in the smart contract code existing on the Ethereum blockchain at 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413. Nothing in this explanation of terms or in any other document or communication may modify or add any additional obligations or guarantees beyond those set forth in The DAO’s code. Any and all explanatory terms or descriptions are merely offered for educational purposes and do not supercede or modify the express terms of The DAO’s code set forth on the blockchain; to the extent you believe there to be any conflict or discrepancy between the descriptions offered here and the functionality of The DAO’s code at 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413, The DAO’s code controls and sets forth all terms of The DAO Creation."

A soft or hard fork would amount to seizure of my legitimate and rightful ether, claimed legally through the terms of a smart contract. Such fork would permanently and irrevocably ruin all confidence in not only Ethereum but also the in the field of smart contracts and blockchain technology. Many large Ethereum holders will dump their ether, and developers, researchers, and companies will leave Ethereum. Make no mistake: any fork, soft or hard, will further damage Ethereum and destroy its reputation and appeal.

I reserve all rights to take any and all legal action against any accomplices of illegitimate theft, freezing, or seizure of my legitimate ether, and am actively working with my law firm. Those accomplices will be receiving Cease and Desist notices in the mail shortly.

I hope this event becomes an valuable learning experience for the Ethereum community and wish you all the best of luck.

Yours truly,
"The Attacker"

That message should be taken with a grain of salt. The verification signature was badly muffed, it's not even verifiable. Absolutely no proof that this message did come from the hacker. Either way, there is definitely a controversy as to whether or not he should be held accountable or even have his earnings rolled back via a fork.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There was no DAO hack on: June 18, 2016, 08:28:27 PM
Bitcoin survived well from previous problems and correction hard forks. So did the Monero. I think Etheruem will also survive.
Stop posting nonsense and read the thread. fluffypony has already explained why the situation with Bitcoin can not be compared to this one. Bitcoin was broken at the protocol level and a fix was applied. ETH is not broken at the protocol level. Reverting anything means that they are rewriting history and that the blockchain is not immutable, nor decentralized. I can't say anything about Monero as I'm not familiar with their situation (past).

Exactly, this is quite the predicament for Ethereum. If they do nothing about the event that has taken place, they have just forfeited a very, very significant amount of ether to a 'theft'. If they do roll it back via a fork, they disprove any value Ethereum was alleged to have.

WTB Waves 0.00030 (5000)

Yes! Finally someone wanting to buy under ICO price and 40% of price here. How much can. You buy?

Idiot.

As stupid and ridiculous of an order he is making, he's allowed to list whatever rates he is comfortable buying it. Who knows, maybe someone dumber than him will jump on his order?

when will be launching on exchange for sure?
20 or 25th of june?

20th June on Bittrex Wink

No Chance!!!  I am calling it now!

25th at the soonest.  Looking at the past history of this coin, more delays expected!!!!
There is more chance me waking up to find an extra 5" swinging between my legs than Waves going to exchanges on the 20th.

a

I still don't know why they are bothering with a low liquidity exchange as opposed to Polo first. Lisk raised half the amount of money and they were able to secure that exchange ahead of time with an NDA. Yes one of the few things they got right on launch. Smiley

We have Bittrex. I don't care if it's late, I want them to make sure it's secure and communicate the progress with investors. This is the part mxxxx seems to miss in his post. Rather than pointing a finger at profit driven traders, he can learn more about transparency.

Good luck Waves team. I believe in the project even if I'm not a big fan off some of your recent actions.
My plan is to enable exchanges one by one. I don't understand why we should rush it and be at all exchanges at once.
Rush slowly.

And why was Bittrex chosen over Poloniex for launch?

Its called strategy...

If you want to sell your coins and leave the project, open on polo.
If you want to buy more coons before you do a release you open on bittrex.

That doesn't make any sense at all? WAVE and BTC are going to flow into whichever exchange lists them first. The only real variable that matters is the volume the exchange can handle. I'm guessing they are rolling out with Bittrex first either because they are easier to work with or offering some sort of payment to give them the opening WAVE exchange opportunity. The first exchange to allow users to exchange waves will see a huge surge in volume, which translates into more money for said exchange.

As a larger trader, I'm probably the minority so I just concede. I personally would never trust any significant amount of Bitcoin on these lower tier exchanges. 20 million raised and we welcome this masterpiece on #17. I give, I will wait for Polo.

That's a valid point. I'm trading in relatively small amounts that I feel are safe to take in and out and also that I can afford to lose. I suppose that changes as an individual's volume climbs. Do you think there are more whales on either side (buying/selling) that could potentially lead to a manipulated launch by starting on bittrex, or do you think it will just result in less noise and lower volume?
