681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: March 24, 2017, 04:46:02 PM
32   Siacoin Siacoin   12,520 BTC   0.00000051 BTC   24,372,603,059 SC   684 BTC   -8.54%

that's the first target after XEL release.

14   Golem Golem   37,191 BTC   0.00004535 BTC   820,000,000 GNT *   994 BTC   2.68%

that's the second target after release.

I think you're forgetting that Sia has 23 BILLION coins, Golem has 1 BILLION coins,  while XEL has ONLY 100 million coins. Multiply your numbers on your post by 10 for example for Golem (0.00045350 BTC) and you are somewhat close to where XEL will start.
so that you think XEL price will be at last 0.00045350btc?  i agree with you.

No clue what price level of .0004535 BTC means for you guys, but for me that's an ~80x ROI from my initial deposit. Yeah, if that happens I'm absolutely cashing out, and I'm sure many more will be, too.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [PEPECASH] 🐸 Pepecash / RarePepe 🦄 Spepeculation Topic on: March 24, 2017, 03:57:35 PM

Cool hype but this article is shitty. There are just over 800 people in our Telegram, Pepecash isn't being used in any major function down in Venezuela. Beyond that, Rare Pepes do not hold value because they "are tied to the value of Bitcoin". They hold value because they are scarce as XCP assets and the community assigns value to them.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Investments on: March 23, 2017, 04:27:29 PM
Hop on the PEPECASH train. Relatively new project that has a great growing community and an innovative project seeing a lot of development.

https://medium.com/@coin_and_peace/rarepepe-is-the-most-innovative-project-in-the-crypto-space-seriously-6d6b74749687#.6sj11xg8j

It's currently seeing great momentum and has already doubled up in the last 10 days. However, I still think we have room for another 400% here easy in the short term. Long term it will easily see prices similar to DogeCoin back in it's prime $70,000,000 marketcap. Currently PEPECASH is just shy of $2,000,000 lots of potential and lots of money to be made.

https://www.tuxexchange.com/trade?coin=PEPECASH&market=BTC#

Would like to second this. Pepecash is doing incredibly well while only being accessible through less-than-optimal exchange options. It has a strong community behind it and a lot of super cool stuff coming out soon. Buy in before it blasts off.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is not worth $40. Who else is shorting? on: March 23, 2017, 04:09:34 PM
Ethereum isn't worth nearly as much as it is valued at right now. It's riding the on the tail of Dash but that gravy train is about to dry out, too. Ethereum is going to reestablish itself back in the .01-.02 mark where it belongs. Who else is putting in big shorts?
How do you know that eth not worth $40 or 50 or 100 , just because that's your opinion don't make it true, maybe it pumps because some investors think the opposite

Ethereum is a joke now. Nobody thinks it's a serious, long term player anymore. It's appreciated in value solely because of Bitcoin instability and DASH pump. It can't sustain this price level, period.

Gonna hold onto my short for a bit then cash out and buy hella Counterparty, I suggest y'all do the same.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is getting out? on: March 22, 2017, 07:29:45 PM
Hold BTC

Sell BTU

Buy BTC dip

I must admit I am not following this hardfork as closely as I should be. With that being said I'm certain I do not want to support BTU. How/when will I be able to sell off my BTU shitcoins? wouldn't mind getting some bonus BTC from the hands of idiots.

687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $1000 - 10 Best Coins - GO! on: March 22, 2017, 07:00:58 PM
1. Bitcoin
2. Pepecash
3. GameCredits
4. HunterCoin
5. Monero
6. Waves
7. Factom
8. CounterParty
9. Augur
10. Feathercoin

If Bitcoin is off the table go for Litecoin instead

Also if you can short then take out Waves and throw in a short on Ethereum. Follow this and you'll be rich guaranteed.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NEW] Chimera - a Decentralized Gaming Platform - ICO coming soon on: March 22, 2017, 06:37:08 PM
does anyone know when Chimera will launch its crowdsale? thanks

They said it would happen in april

what year?

This will be available in April 2021  Grin

Honestly, whatever the wait here, if they deliver on what they detailed in the OP, with a blockchain based system amenable to a variety of games, including fast paced ones (which is one of the drawbacks of huntercoin - slow paced, basic mechanics), then the wait will have been worth it.

It would be even better for Huntercoin holders if Huntercoin could be incorporated into the system in some fashion as I asked about, but even without that, getting in on the ground floor here is a pretty compelling reason to own Huntercoin right now.

I would have to imagine HUC would be compatible with the Chimera network. Even if there is no special framework in place for HUC incorporation, I'd imagine game devs can choose to incorporate it using their own systems. In video games today, some games are already in place that utilize Bitcoin and other altcoins, no reason why they couldn't use HUC, too.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: March 22, 2017, 06:30:25 PM
Really hope the launch gets botched and market dips below ICO price for a while, so pissed off I missed this one, just got to get me some EK's
It almost always does. That's what i'm counting on, at least.

And I don't think the launch needs to be botched for it to happen either.
You might get surprised on this one.
Also, like your signature 0.3 BTC to 50 BTC ! Wow! I'm tempted to sell everything I have to get as many 0.3 BTC as I could  Grin

Watched about 2 seconds of that video. He starts it off focusing with Steemit. Steemit was a bullshit pump and dump that preyed on individuals outside the crypto sphere. Nothing worthwhile about that coin whatsoever.

In regards to XEL. Great to see progress coming along! I can smell the mainnet launch, it's just around the corner!!!
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund - Decentralized Solutions on Gamecredits Mobile Store on: March 22, 2017, 06:27:06 PM
I want to formally share our MobileGo discount schedule

Week 1:

15% discount all currencies

+7% additional discount when using GAME (GameCredits)

Week 2:

10% discount all currencies

+7% additional discount when using GAME (GameCredits)

Week 3:

5% discount all currencies

+7% additional discount when using GAME (GameCredits)

Week 4:

+10% additional discount when using GAME (GameCredits)

I've been sitting on a pile of GAME for quite some time now, think I'm going to put some of that towards MobileGO! Great to see bonuses for GAME hodlers, and great to see this project moving according to schedule. Really excited for what's to come in the near future!

The first booster pack test sale just went through with no errors or problems (on test net)!  Supposedly we could be seeing booster packs on main net as early as Friday!

I heard this as well! That's BIG news!

I also came across this article today related to the game developers: https://cryptoinsider.com/venezuelan-developers-using-bitcoin-rare-pepes-fight-dismal-economy/

Yeah that's amazing stuff.  I'll let slip something else; me and an artist are working on the first Pepe charity card - it will be a limited edition with proceeds from the sale going as a donation to a very worthy organization.  More details to come later, but this is going to be a very cool thing for both Pepe and the charity involved I hope.

Fuck Ethereum, Dash, and all the other shitcoins pledging to make a difference in the world.

Pepecash is out here doing just that. Believe in Pepe my friends. For the first time in my life Bitcoin doesn't hold the largest % of my crypto portfolio. Pepecash does, bois.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / How long does it take for Poloniex to process withdrawals "Awaiting Approval" on: March 18, 2017, 01:19:37 AM
I made a Litecoin withdrawal to an online merchant. The merchant uses a timer- if the currency is not sent within the alotted time, the transaction is cancelled. Dumb of me, but I sent the coins directly from exchange to merchant. Unfortunately, the withdrawal did not go through automatically, probably because I'm on vacation so this took place from a new IP. I sent a support ticket to hopefully speed up the process. Asked a mod if it's possible to cancel a withdrawal awaiting approval, and it's not (coolio).

Poloniex promises that withdrawals will be manually approved within 24 hours, but I have far less than that time so I'm fairly anxious.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NEW] Chimera - a Decentralized Gaming Platform - ICO coming soon on: March 18, 2017, 12:55:13 AM
swap HUC conditions are already known?

You will receive some number of Chimera for every 10k HUC you have. If you have 10k HUC you will get X CHI. 30k will get you 3X CHI. 12k will still only get you X CHI. It's been said many times in this thread already take a look next time.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XVE] "The Vegan Initiative" [BOUNTIES - RELEASED][ICO ON COINEXCHANGE.IO] on: March 18, 2017, 12:09:30 AM
A ven diagram representing the people interested in crypto and people interested in veganism is going to be damn close to two full circles. Who exactly is the market this is supposed to reach? Liberals aren't exactly the type of people who are on board with Bitcoin.

That's a good question! Someone recognized that The Vegan Initiative logo is a Venn diagram. For me, the three circles in the Venn diagram represents the human being, the environment and health/happiness condition. These three together form the Vegan philosophy, which is what The Initiative is based on.
To give you an answer, here's another interpretation of the three circles: cryptocurrency enthusiasts, vegan people, and financial freedom. I'm trying to combine all the bitcoin nerds/enthusiasts together with Vegans and people following the Veganism philosophy. Each one is skeptical about the other, well that's my mission!
And what's your personal interpretation for the Venn diagram? Wink
I want to demonstrate that Veganism and cryptocurrency can live together and through the website I want to let bitcoin people know the Vegan world, and I want the Vegan people to be aware that financial freedom is possible thanks to cryptocurrencies!
It's not impossible, there's much to do but I'm sure slowly we will succeed if we work together!

Why would a vegan care about cryptocurrency? From a political standpoint, the views of the average vegan don't favor Bitcoin/altcoins. Why go after a niche with little to no compatibility when there are so many more untapped niches that actually have some overlap with crypto? This project seems to be in pursuit of crypto fish, not vegans.

696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAMEUNITS] 🏆 THE NEXT GENERATION GAMING CURRENCY | CSGO GAMBLING SITE 📈 on: March 12, 2017, 09:35:28 PM
What makes this coins a "gaming currency"? You can already use several other cryptos to gamble on CSGO? GameCredits, HunterCoin, BitCrystals, Hyper, GoldPieces, Digibyte, etc. etc. etc. are all branded as gaming currencies. Difference between them and this is that each one of these coins, in some way or another, are actually used in conjunction with video games, beyond just gambling. What's the catch here? Why should anyone buy in to Gameunits if they want a gaming currency?
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NEW] Chimera - a Decentralized Gaming Platform - ICO coming soon on: March 12, 2017, 08:30:21 PM
got it!

time for everyone to buy a little more to cap their stash up to a multiple of 10k  Shocked

Bought HUC upon Chimera announcement... unfortunately only had 6800~. Either way, good profit from the news on my investment. Sold out since I don't know how I feel about rounding up with expensive HUC, but the BTC profit will definitely help with my BTC deposits towards Chimera ICO.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Checklist before investing in a Project on: March 12, 2017, 08:25:23 PM
Meme potential/meme integrity needs to be considered. Shitcoin investors love their memes. Coins can be extremely profitable without providing any real world value so long as they provide some dank and spicy meme for their community. (i.e. dogecoin, trumpcoin, memetic, pepecash, etc.)

Pepecash is a very strong currency solely because its meme implementation and potential.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLRY] **BILLARY COIN**| Multi Service Payment Solutions | on: March 11, 2017, 08:50:36 PM

700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump coins history? on: March 11, 2017, 08:37:45 PM
I get into one scam coin that i still remember, they goes with name TODAY (image coin) Here is their ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1569405.0
Exchange where they are listed https://yobit.net/en/trade/TODAY/BTC

Also i have invested few in Cryptojackscoin (CJ) and make nice profit almost 10x during their ICO but after that huge pump, they got dumped hard  and i don't have any idea about what is going on but it looks like dev have disappeared for more than a month now their ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1659790.0

Thanks for the links, TODAY coin seems really nice example of what I'm looking for, a real pump and dump coin.

Do you happen to have more coins like that with charts?

Feathercoin and Quark are good to look into as far as old timers are concerned. Pascalcoin was the most major recent pumpNdump. Check out Steem as well. TrumpCoin and ChessCoin might be worth a look, too. You can find plenty of examples of PumpNDumps on yobit. There is(was?) even a coin called ponzi or trollcoin or something that paid its users to pump coins by using keywords in yobit chat.

Feathercoin is pretty old, I remember reading the name before, is it still alive using pump and dump?? or some dev keeping it??
I'll be watching yobit for a bit to see more coins and hopefully find a way to extract data form it.

Anyone wants to contribute more coins names and info??

Never really been involved with Feathercoin but I believe it's still alive and kicking. It gets pumped about once a year or so. Also, someone listed some more coins in response to my list. Can't attest for all of them but Paycoin is really good to look into, can't believe I forgot about that shitcoin.
