rpcport=y port=z
Where can i find this information ? for this coin ?
port= 15714 rpcport= 15715 Can't you just use any open port you choose? I always do. You can specify the rpc port that in the conf file. You need to use the p2p port for the coin. There is no problem to use any arbitrary p2p port for wallet specifying it in .conf like Yes you are correct. I was mistaken.

I implemented payment id into my pool code running at https://cncoin.farm. Please check it out and see if everything works well for you. You can mine directly to your account at poloniex or whichever exchange you want. Please do not recommend your pool users mine directly to exchanges. I have seen Poloniex say explicitly that they do not appreciate the practice. Encouraging that kind of behavior may discourage Poloniex (or other exchanges) from adding Aeon or other CryptoNote coins in the future. This is about more than just Boolberry. If we want to see CryptoNote coins traded in more places (like China) then we should discourage sending dust to exchanges. Lets make things easier for exchanges not harder! Aw, man... Well, I guess that was a waste of time. Maybe I'll just increase the minimum payment. Not a waste of time at all. Increasing the minimum limit if using a payment ID would solve the problem of dust. A 1 bbr plus transaction fee minimum if using payment id would probably be sufficient.

That was the premine. Where do you think the airdrop coins came from? The premine consists of 8% of the total supply of 21 million coins, meaning the premine consists of 1.68 million coins.lol i never saw any evidence of the airdrop as described in the op... so let me get this right pre-mine of %8 plus %10 of all mined blocks so all in all %18 of all coins go to the company based in chicago? :\ sounds legit Airdrops are a terrible way to distribute initial coins. There is no way to know who actually received the coins or how many were actually distributed to individual users. Many use multiple accounts to claim coins and it is very easy for much of the initial distribution to remain in the hands of the creators. I have seen it happen with many cryptocurrencies. NEM is a good example and similar to this initial distribution by airdrop. I'm sure that there will be discussion about the airdrop distribution that will plague decred forever just as it does NEM. Regardless, I did receive my 282 coins as did many others. I do not believe that the airdrop was actually distributed to 2971 different individuals. 840,000 / 282.63795424 = 2971. I spent no time or energy developing this cryptocurrency so anything I did receive was for free. Was the airdrop open, honest, and fair? It definitely was not an open process. I'm not going to get into whether it was honest and I don't know how to determine if it was fair. It is what it is.

Windows wallet won't boot GUI and online wallet won't accept my seed. Also, says can't read the key file. ? Help The Windows wallet is a command line wallet. You'll need to run it from the command prompt. I am not aware of any GUI. I couldn't get the web wallet to work either so I used the process here: https://forum.decred.org/threads/prerequisites-for-mainnet-unofficial-airdrop-import-mining-guide-use-at-your-own-risk.472/ The "Running Daemon i.e. dcrd.exe" and "Importing the Airdrop seed & Creating an address for solo mining" are the sections you'll need to follow. When you're done if you run dcrctl -u username -P password --wallet getbalance from the command prompt your balance will be displayed
|
|
|
Thank you sir. That information was exactly what I was looking for. I don't understand what went wrong using the web wallet but I prefer the local command line wallet anyway. I was able to import my seed and got the following results: D:\decred>dcrctl -u xxxxxx -P xxxxxxxx --wallet getbalance 282.63795424 So all is good.

Check in explorer if your address was credited with the coins at airdrop
When I put the address i get from verify.bat into the explorer it shows 282.63795424 DCR so I must have done something incorrect with the web wallet. I can't imagine what but I don't care for web wallets anyway. Is there a location with documentation on importing the seed into the command line wallet? I've been looking but haven't found anything.

|
Am I doing something wrong? I created a web wallet, imported the 33 word seed, and find I have a balance of zero. I can't think of any reason I would be denied participation in the airdrop.

I used the pump to sell out my positions.
Anyone intrigued by this should first consider that the wallet crashes and often prohibits you from moving large amounts of money. It took me approximately 30 transactions to simply move my BBR from wallet to exchange. Annoying, slow, BROKEN.
This coin is sad. You should either spend the energy to fix it or give up and let it die.
Well that's too bad. Sorry to see you go. If I remember correctly you were asking questions about mining some time back. If you had other issues I'm sure someone would have helped you out had you asked. I don't have the wallet crashing issues that you describe. As far as moving large amounts, it depends on how they came into your wallet. If you were mining on a pool and received many small transactions then you may find that you need to consolidate them before you are able to send a large transaction. It's an issue with all cryptonote coins have but I think there has been some progress with that issue in other cryptonote coins like Monero and AEON. I haven't been keeping up so don't quote me on that. I'm sure that if improvements in sending transactions have been made then crypto_zoidberg will pull them in. He might have already addressed that issue in the project he's been working on. The blockchain has been running 1 year, 9 months, and 18 days for a total of 658 days. It's been holding it's own with support from a small handful of dedicated people for the last year. crypto_zoidberg has recently popped in and fixed some issues and will hopefully be around more going forward. BBR has never been a coin based on promises. It's always been a coin based on tech. I'm confident that BBR will be around for the foreseeable future and that additional technological improvements will be implemented. Hopefully you'll change your mind and reconsider BBR but if you don't it's understandable. The more the merrier. Regardless, thanks for giving it a look. Good luck with your future endeavors.

wtf?
Care to revise your statement? I think volume has about doubled since you said that... OK, I'll revise. WTF?!!! Was the Boolberry GUI released and now it's mooon? A very functional official GUI for BBR has been out for quite some time. As for the spike in volume I'm as curious as the rest.

I only get one single connection These are the nodes I get from a getpeerinfo in the Credits debug window: 54.86.211.22 89.13.165.155 115.28.132.245 I'm syncing up now but six weeks behind so I don't know if I can sync yet. Will let you know when/if it finishes.

I still can't mine. Syncs ok, but all shares reflected. Maybe brand new amd drivers not compatible with opencl miner?
solo miningin mbk's daemon? try removing the poolstate and p2pstate files still. Sounds like they're syncing but getting all rejected shares when mining. I've had a similar issue before on Windows. Nothing but red in the window from "share check failed". Uninstalling and reinstalling the AMD drivers corrected the problem. That was using mbk's daemon and mining with r9 280"s

I'm using catalyst version 15.7.1 and am currently mining. I haven't used any drivers past that version. I would roll back your drivers to an earlier version and see if that corrects it.

Hi Folk! Sorry for being away all this time, was really busy with preparing public betta of our second project. I've reconfigured first seed node and in process of re-configuring others nodes. http://boolberry.com/state.html is up again. Zoidberg The wallet doesn't want to download any blocks. Its stuck on Connecting. Did you delete p2pstate.bin and poolstate.bin then launch using the priority nodes? You'll want to delete those files and launch boolbd.exe from the command line. Windows boolbd.exe --add-priority-node 66.228.33.249:10101 --add-priority-node 59.120.166.36:10101 --add-priority-node 62.201.213.25:10101 --add-priority-node 95.85.21.33:10101 --add-priority-node 107.170.97.197:10101 --add-priority-node 107.170.228.11:10101 --add-priority-node 180.97.28.56:10101 --add-priority-node 66.228.33.249:10101 Linux ./boolbd --add-priority-node 66.228.33.249:10101 --add-priority-node 59.120.166.36:10101 --add-priority-node 62.201.213.25:10101 --add-priority-node 95.85.21.33:10101 --add-priority-node 107.170.97.197:10101 --add-priority-node 107.170.228.11:10101 --add-priority-node 180.97.28.56:10101 --add-priority-node 66.228.33.249:10101 After it syncs then exit and launch the GUI. I have 8 connections

Likely due to the fact that it's an installer file. D/L the zip and scan those. Nothing to see. These files have been around for over a year and nobody has had any issues. Why would you use an installer when you can just unzip the application files anyway?

I like the fact that this coin isn't pushed by a bunch of shills. Lot's of disparate hero, senior, full, and other members. No talk of moon, when exchange, etc.... I like it.
