301  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 13, 2023, 08:21:37 PM
Do you still use Banks ? Im using only cryptocurrency debit cards and they always work better than bank.
So Im still surprised If anyone still use Banks they are old
I still use them, the older the better because they've proven themselves for so long.

Do you use more crypto or banks for your daily or average transactions ?
At this time, I've got more transactions happen in crypto because of my trades but if it's about doing things on my daily life, money has to go through the bank and use it with things like bills and groceries.

Do you have had problems with hackers or someone steal money from your cryptocurrency or bank
Of course, no one wants to be a victim of hackers and don't want to experience stolen money from our banking accounts.

Do you think banks not working reliable any more ?
They're just fine for me but the purpose is what it is and I don't put a lot of money in them.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copytrading with Binance Leaderboard traders on: December 12, 2023, 11:09:03 PM
I am not a fan of copytrading but I am starting to see the sense of it. Or I am just fed up by those contents of forex traders that are copytrading the best in the leaderboards.

Does your service have a stats on how many have registered or you have in a group? does this have an actual software where users meet or you have a certain group where you just drop all of those details. Sorry, I don't want to dig a lot on the thread if those were already answered.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wiser? on: December 12, 2023, 09:55:22 PM
Mr. Bob, he buys on $40k without having any trouble and thinking of the price might go lower during the next months because of etf's, halving and many other factors that will push the price up.

While for Mr. Thymos that will DCA, he'll get those quite high prices in the DCA but that's still a good strategy but much better if applied during the bear market than the bull run.

And for Miss Alice, I still like her because she's still got tha 50% Bitcoin on her portfolio.  Tongue
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: December 12, 2023, 08:54:54 PM
Let them just learn their own lessons at their own pace and time.
We can't force them to change their path and believe that they will really change for the better.
At least we can always give them some advise on what they should do and shouldn't do because we've gone through with a lot of things especially in gambling.

It's true that we can't force them but leaving them some words of wisdom and tips might just teach and make them remember the important lesson that they'll realize soon.

Sometimes they need to realize things on their own because the change will come from themselves.
Yeah, some may become expensive realization or if they listen, it will cost them less money.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: I spoken with very old and smart person. About economy and future on: December 11, 2023, 06:51:57 PM
But I agree that it is now the younger generation who will feel directly about the economy in the future.
It's because that they still have a long life to live on and has got longer years of stay here. And listening to an old man about the future about economy, he's seen what's happening in the world. Take good life advices and news that you might refer while looking at the performance of your country's economy.

So as young people we should not close our eyes to the current situation, even if we do not understand at least we know what is going on.
Better or much preferred to say about the young professionals. Because the real young ones don't care at something like this, economics? What the heck is that, that will be their reaction.

But as for the young professionals, they are more conscious these days with global economy.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does technical analysis work in crypto trading? on: December 11, 2023, 04:55:14 PM
I understand that I'm newbie in trading, now I'm trying to learn only the right things and not get lost because of other concepts and other people's opinions. Thanks for the advice and for guiding me!!!
Good luck with your trading journey. Remember whatever strategy and trading style that seems easy and working on you, stay on it. You don't have to be much of an expert because what's important in trading is profitability regardless of the strategy you use, whether TA, FA, smart money or anything that you use as indicators that shall depend your decisions.

@shisotsu, look at the quote that I've made and what oshosondy has said about it. Don't ignore the warning that he has given and the highlight that I've quoted for you as a reminder.

Did you know that this is plagiarism?

Quote
Smart money refers to the capital that institutional investors, central banks, and other financial institutions or professionals control.

Any ETA when it shall be integrated?

I've got the node setup- along with the channel. Just waiting on some design changes to the deposit and withdrawal pages in the account section.
Thanks, I guess that I'll just have to wait on that when everything's fine since you're going to discuss and announce it here once it's fully integrated and done. While the fees for Bitcoin are still fluctuating but I think that there's a development, a better one but can't still say that the fees are cheaper.

Now, a fun question.. which of this wins do you think was the nearest or closest to a jackpot?
Though I have no idea but those wins that you've made, boy, you're killing it. Congratulations on those nice wins that you've got for this week and more to come tomorrow and the next days.  Cheesy

311  Economy / Economics / Re: The bad things will make people hate fiat currency no trust in goverments on: December 06, 2023, 11:29:14 PM
Problem is not that only poor people suffering now the problem is that rich and wealthy ones start losing their wealth and that's when goverments have problem
It's a global issue that everyone has to deal what's with the crisis that we're suffering right now. There goes the wars that affects a lot of commodities that we need and that sums up to the result of high prices of oil.

And when oil prices goes up, then everything is going to be a domino effect which we don't like to happen. It's being harder this time compared to the old days.

But are we going to stop with that? No. We have to keep on living and moving on because we're still alive and that's why with the next years to come, there could be some more interesting retrieval and redeem that shall come.
312  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 l0tt0.com ⚡ bitcoin games like you've never seen! 🏆 on: December 04, 2023, 06:48:46 PM
and very important to add other deposit options if possible.
They also stand to their tag about "bitcoin games" but who knows if there will be changes in the future.
They announced integrating a bitcoin lightening network deposit and withdrawal option, hope that solves the problem and need for a deposit of withdrawal option.
That's a good solution and still, they won't sacrifice the label and focus on having the entire platform in support of Bitcoin only bets.

It's gonna be Bitcoin and Bitcoin - Lightning Network so there goes the options for everyone. Any ETA when it shall be integrated?

what a win!
a hit on every line.. at the end of the day it's not the size that matters. :cough:
Without the image and context of what you've said, someone might think of it with the other meaning. Yeah, it's double meaning LOL.

Anyway, a win is a win, congrats.  Grin

just not many games listed yet,
They have to maintain what they've known for because of their name.

314  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The fate of mixers. on: November 30, 2023, 11:11:30 PM
As we have seen with centralized exchanges, even the strictest KYC policies and blockchain surveillance aren't 100% effective at preventing criminals from using their platform. Anything that provides privacy will be seen as a bad thing by law enforcement so I suspect that even if mixers tried to be compliant there will still be sanctions, fines and arrests.
And that's what we're seeing right now. They're not directly telling that mixing coins is legal but with their actions, we see that it's looking like an illegal action and they have to take down.

But that's possible in the future that they will only "clean" coins on their end because they have a business to protect. Anyway, we're already seeing the defeat purpose of Bitcoin that it's for decentralization while exchanges are forcing centralization together with government policies applied to us.
315  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Now Red 🚨 for Exchange Influencers on: November 29, 2023, 11:22:28 PM
As we know that crypto exchanges security issue is increased in these months. Binance and kraken already sued by SEC. Now it's time for influencers. All big influencers promoting Binance and other exchanges are now in real danger.

If anyone don't know ,I want to tell you that Recently legal action has been taken against famous football star Cristiano Ronaldo for his partnership with Binance. This news signalling challenge for crypto exchanges hiring influencers to boost their visibility. This news indicate that regulatory are not only focus on exchanges themselves but also all individual influencers are now getting red signal. Authority now looking to tight grab on influencers. Source

What do you think this news will have any bad impact on Binance?

Will next target will be Messi influencers of Bitget exchange?

As topic said , Crypto influencers are also not save and they will face security issues.
I think for SEC or any regulating body, they should make a standard and lists of guidelines for these exchanges to avoid getting sued. It's important for them to make guidelines and definitely the registration that they need to comply for them to make sure that they're complying.

And on the side of influencers, whether they are celebrities, athletes or just common social media influencers. They need to check always the rules of what's right or wrong on their end because it's not only about the partnership that they're signing.

But also the effect that will happen to them afterwards because the company that they signed might not be able to protect them if they're also sued.

Remember the centra debacle, it's a scam and the influencers of got sued. But on this case, it's different but the main company that they've advertised got sued too.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 28, 2023, 11:14:46 PM
So as expected earlier, the San Antonio Spurs led by a rookie phenom has lost 12 straight games. Luckily for Wemby, it is not the worst, the longest losing streak on the Spurs' franchise was 16. At the moment, they are on a long rest which can re-energize them a lot.
It's just too good when the start of season came out and few games were actually good for Wemby and the Spurs. What's not good is that most fans have a lot of expectations coming from a rookie. There is no doubt that he's good and a candidate for rookie of the year but it's not just enough to bring a team up on his shoulders.

Anyway, the Spurs isn't all about Wemby but it's a team that has a lot of players too. They just need more experience and hone it until the coming years. And no doubt that there's still a room for growth, not just for Wemby alone but for the entire team.

I guess their next game against Atlanta is crucial, they should win it and cut the streak while they're at home. Otherwise, I'll start betting again that they'll make history in their franchise since they're facing stronger opposition after their game with Atlanta.
I'd certainly avoid betting with or against Atlanta. They're too unpredictable, if we bet on them, they lose and the opposite if we don't. LOL. What a ritual.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: November 27, 2023, 11:30:52 PM
Probably it's because that with government intervention on Bitcoin, this gives us the thought that 'yeah, they're supporting Bitcoin' but if we clear that path on the actuality is you're right. Many of us seems to unnotice what's actually happening on Bitcoin and they've got more control on it and can easily done than Monero. I just hope that purpose of Bitcoin won't be defeated and someday, we don't have to rely on these cexes and governments. But the truth is, this is inevitable for it as part of "adoption".
I don't consider that they, governments want and are doing it because they are supporting Bitcoin. They are doing this because:

They can not stop Bitcoin.
They can not stop their citizens to access a big innovation in human history.

So they have to create as many barriers as possible to reduce the adoption growth of Bitcoin and want to do more regulations to control financial flows in society. They are doing this to help central banks have more tools to trace their citizen financial flow and gain tax for their government.

Are they doing this for benefit of citizens? I see no.
Well, for those countries that have strict implementation of their rules. Adopting it and having all of those regulations can still be said that this is favorable to its citizens that are in Bitcoin.

They don't have to hide in shadows but you know these times, it's better to remain unknown and lowkey with all of the crimes happening related to Bitcoin robberies and violence that were reported on the media.

I have put apostrophe on it and that's what I am highlighting that there's a meaning about the adoption and of course the thought about making us think that they're supporting it. In every support, there's always the agenda that they can't deny like those that you've mentioned.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: November 27, 2023, 12:12:02 AM
But when you've said about it gaining lots of adoptions from exchanges, you have to consider the news of it being delisted mostly in popular exchanges and I think in some other global exchanges as well.
As far as I see it, being delisted from KYCed centralized exchanges is a good thing - it proves that Monero works, the government are unable to trace it or deanonymize it like they can do with every other coin, so instead they are resorting to delisting it. Delisting shows that it works. And as I said before, no one who actually uses Monero cares about this since they aren't using KYCed exchanges in the first place.
Yeah, it's actually good riddance since the main purpose and what monero is boasting for is its privacy and anonymous feature which is ideal for people that want to keep themselves anonymous. And if it's on a centralized exchanges that asked for the user/trader's identity through KYC, that defeats the purpose of it. So, it's truly a good thing and a blessing in disguise for those that sees it being delisted.

But it is understandable that it's still needed to stay in some major exchanges for its liquidity and volume. IMO, we will not see it as a stand alone crypto like mostly used only for P2P trades because of these cexes that won't delist it.

There's a big issue on it and as we can see, it's being cracked by the governments.
So is bitcoin. We are seeing mining pools like F2Pool censoring transactions the government tells them to. We are seeing wallets like Wasabi censoring inputs the government tells them to. We are seeing regulations which will ban self custody and mean bitcoin can only be bought, stored, and sold on fully KYCed centralized exchanges. And yet no one seems to care that bitcoin is marching towards a government permissioned network. Bitcoin is being cracked down on by governments even more strongly than Monero is. The difference is they can't do any of these things with Monero, so they are just forcing it to be delisted instead.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: November 25, 2023, 10:18:13 PM
I like Monero and there is no doubt if the topic to be discussed is about privacy, it's the most recommended cryptocurrency to use.

But when you've said about it gaining lots of adoptions from exchanges, you have to consider the news of it being delisted mostly in popular exchanges and I think in some other global exchanges as well.

There's a big issue on it and as we can see, it's being cracked by the governments.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: November 24, 2023, 09:10:45 PM
And what you can see from those posts that they're discouraging gambling and they tell people to gamble for fun at the same time are promoting casinos.  Grin

It is no doubt that someone can achieve success in gambling but these people are also right that not everyone can have it just how those successful lads took it.

But you're also right that instead of saying no, they can figure out how to manage themselves way better than the others that are irresponsible when they gamble.
