3081  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Wird mein Coin jemals wieder etwas Wert sein? on: March 03, 2019, 07:04:28 PM

I have not heard of such a project yet. I think that if you have such a request, then most likely such opportunities will soon appear

Thanks for a response that says nothing. If I look at your post history, you seem to only post negligible one liners as signature spam.

I know solutions already that comes near to what I search. Steem or Qora are examples. Also storage solutions like StorJ or Maidsafe. However they do not let me store explicit files so that they can displayed as HTML or just a text file. That's why I'm looking for possible projects that allow this and which I do not know yet.
3083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: March 03, 2019, 02:14:56 PM
I was amazed by this NEM's robust development and documentation and comprehensive knowledge base which I seldom see in other crypto projects as evident in their OP. This only shows that it one of the best projects I've seen so far. Good luck. Smiley

So true. In such difficult times, the strength of the community becomes apparent. NEM has had a strong community and developer base since the beginning. In addition, it has recently been cleaned up from the inside. That's why the project will be back on track in the medium term and will be one of the top projects again in the long term.
3084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Hosting simple website with blockchain service? on: March 02, 2019, 05:09:49 PM
I am wondering if there is a blockchain project which let me decentralized host a simple HTML file as a website (mutable or immutable)?
3085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 02, 2019, 01:07:50 PM
It doesn't work for me, no matter what node I use. I use IOTA light wallet 2.3.1.
Since 2017 I'm trying to open the wallet to access my funds but allways see the message "could not connect to remote node". How can I access my funds now?

Download the current version 2.5.7
https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/releases

As @dogebearman posted, you are using an outdated version that is not work properly anymore. Upgrade light wallet, or better, switch to Trinity wallet.

Is there any progress in counterparty development? Any plans for the near future? At least something that let me (and probably others) continue to believe in this project.

John McAfee as Advisor

I was thinking about to contact you, then I read the quote "The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." that is assigned to John McAfee. In fact, this words were part of the famous Apple commercial "Think Different" and the author of these words was Rob Siltanen. Be careful when quoting Wink
3088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best ethereum wallet mobile? on: February 28, 2019, 12:07:54 PM
What ethereum mobile wallet do you use?

If you only want to store and transfer Ether (and not other tokens like ERC20) then I recommend BRD wallet (https://brd.com). I have used it for more than a year now, to pay with Bitcoin and Ether mobile in locations and crypto events.

Mind map of current frauds:

Good and helpful post, even I agree with odolvlobo on some of his points.
You should still add explanations or descriptions to the individual types of frauds. I think most people hear these fraud types for the first time and can not imagine anything like that. This would make your post more informative.

How long does it usually take to pay out the affiliate commissions?
I am waiting for two days now. Payment status is still on pending. Thanks!
3091  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The cost to build decentralized cryptocurrency exchange like Binance on: February 27, 2019, 09:23:19 PM
The question is whether it is still worth opening a centralized exchange. Many exchanges have recently closed, as they can no longer be operated profitably. In addition, centralized exchanges are increasingly required to execute KYC and AML, which requires additional resources and generates costs. A exchange has to grow big fast , otherwise it has no chance to survive.
3092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Gamecredits - the forgotten coin that was once in the top 20 on: February 26, 2019, 03:48:21 PM
All games in the gaming store will be purchased exclusively using Gamecredits. More excitingly, most games will be less expensive to purchase inside the Gamecredits store than virtually anywhere else in the world, due to partnerships the Gamecredits community has developed.

That will push the price downwards even further. Because only people will pay for games with Gamecredits that already own the coins. The shop or the platform will certainly sell the Gamecredits immediately for fiat money. Why would anyone without Gamecredits yet make the complicated detour of first buying Gamecredits to buy a game if one could do much more easily with fiat directly?

26 weeks: 0.005 btc (money back)
Note: you can run this on multiple accounts, or if you are like me, I have played a bit with the gamble feature and I get 1200sats per spin (rather than the 100 in the example)

Price: 0.05 btc

Do you see what is wrong with your calculation? You need 260 weeks for ROI. So, five years overall. Any average programmer can program such a script in 30 minutes. It's no rocket science what would justify such a high price.

You can use vps, but I guess that won't be worth it either unless you are getting it for free.

A virtual private server costs at least $3 a month, this is more than the script brings you in. And the purchase price is not yet calculated.
3094  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: "Mobile Wallets - Wallet-Apps" Empfehlungen? on: February 26, 2019, 03:31:55 PM

3096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: February 26, 2019, 02:04:54 PM
which node do you use?
i always connect with the node nodes.iota.cafe:443 and have no probs so far

In the afternoon, I made an iota transfer to Trinity and still didn't enter, can anyone help me? How long does it usually take?

If a node does not work just look up on Iota.dance. It shows a list of nodes including respective health, neighbors, version and milestones. Every of those parameters should be up to date. Then everything will work fine.
3097  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Modum - Diskussions Tread on: February 25, 2019, 08:00:31 PM

3098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: February 25, 2019, 06:19:04 PM
That kind of incident happened lack of knowledge and our greedy nature when we take action without making any research and letting know who is behind the scene. The people must have to understand how this ecosystem than we can reduce the risk factor to being get scammed otherwise we will hear this kind of sad stories.

The scam only works because people don't think if they can have a few bucks for free. Then they invest blindly. It will take a while for the last one to realize the intention behind such assets. They have to learn it, even if it gets expensive for them.

Nonetheless, it is slowly getting out of hand and Waves should consider making such assets as possible scams or, on the first trade of new assets, display a message box indicating that there is a possibility of a scam including information about knowing scam patterns. At least, this could increase the awareness.

https://nulltx.com/nem-price-rises-quickly-as-traders-target-0-05/

Well, after all the turmoil lately, there are good signs when NEM is slowly rising again. Just 14 percent in the last seven days alone. I am convinced that with the new leadership, NEM will rise even more in the next bull run and make up for the losses since January 2018.
