321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back to the Green Green Grass on: January 18, 2018, 07:20:19 AM
What a very good morning today, the market is back in green, I did panic for a while as I was thinking bitcoin is going to heavily
dump below 10K but not it seems like the price is already stable, thanks I did not pull the trigger to sell.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: January 12, 2018, 05:06:57 AM
Yes, bitcoin is freedom. Because nobody controls the movement of btc, No third party link to btc.. aside from that, it also gives opportunity to everybody who wants to have sideline, at any moment and time. you can transact and make business with btc as long there is internet conmection:)
The government is promoting centralization because they want to control and monitor people but bitcoin is decentralized
so we can do everything we want as we can hide our transactions if we are good enough in doing it.
Just be sure you understand how the system work and the nature of bitcoin especially it's volatility so in the future there would be no problem.
323  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 12, 2018, 04:51:48 AM
mag cash in at cash out ng ating bitcoin. I'm sorry pero never ko pang narinig ang ganyan, pwede mong bigyan ako ng link na sinasabi mong video?
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 11, 2018, 05:09:33 AM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?

Oh well, firstly I would say that is pure common sense. Basic examples would be rain does not fall upwards and people don't like loosing money. If you invest in a project based on rain falling upwards or people willingly loosing money you should not be an investor.

And then comes experience. I am not saying that you do not need pure theoretical knowledge, I am saying that experience will teach you 100 times more.
Experience will give you an edge because it will help you make a good decision.
Theory is not always applicable in actual practice so it's necessary that sometimes you have to rely on your experience as well.
Investing is risky but when you are experience it will lessen the risk.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: January 11, 2018, 04:54:44 AM
That's definitely true. It gives more advantages to have bitcoin instead of cash. And I think the biggest reason of having bitcoin is it's decentralised which means we can manage and monitor our own money. Simply,  we become our own bank. No one can authorize it.

Decentralization will be the future and it's not only bitcoin but altcoins as well, we have a very strong market and innovative product has been invented
to help cater the needs of the people. Cash will still be useful but bitcoin is here to change the traditional system and we have already benefited and satisfied with the system of bitcoin.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 11, 2018, 04:25:29 AM
For me, both. Save some money in the bank, and fhe other half invest it online, in bitcoin. Because saving money in the bank will not get you rich. But invest will give you a chance to get rich.
That is good, you need to ensure your savings because investing has no guarantee that you'll be successful.
Putting your money in the bank as your savings will give you an amount to use in the event your investment will not succeed or if there is an emergency
situation where you are urgently in need of money.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: January 11, 2018, 04:13:27 AM
Trading for some people is just a form of gambling. But with good analysis, even if you never can be sure, you can achieve a satisfacatory rate of precision in your predictions, an make a good profit.
It's not a gambling and don't think you are gambling because you will lose in the long run.
Trading is profitable especially if you have spent time to develop your skills and you yourself are your friend, your decision matters
so never make a decision when not carefully plan and research.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: January 10, 2018, 12:01:38 PM
Why would you hold a shiny rock over stake in a new technology already integrated with several platforms across the globe?
That's right mate, bitcoin has the real use compared to gold and although only few people have already known about bitcoin
but eventually in the future this will become popular and when the demand increases the value will follow.
We have to believe that it will change the financial system if we are investing with bitcoin because the ride is long and we have to be strong to survive.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bank on: January 10, 2018, 11:51:06 AM
Did anyone think at this? How would a bank work? How could you loan bitcoins and get interest for them in an economy with just 21 milion BTC limit?
There will be no area of verification for the bank loan of bitcoin, unless you give your wallet to them and the password to guarantee that you will lay. Likewise, bitcoins price is unstable, so how can they measure the interest rate for that.
Bitcoin is anonymous while bank impose to implement the KYC system.
If there is a bitcoin bank we should be following the law on the banking system and it will already defeat the purpose why bitcoin was created.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: January 10, 2018, 11:43:56 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

The major reason why I am still working with Bitcoin is because of the profit that I can get  from it. Bitcoin is like a gift to everybody because of the opportunity that it can give to everyone. Anyone can be part of it and can benefit from it. You can expect a big amount of profit but on the other hand a big losses is possible too.
Just trust bitcoin and it will help you change your life for the better, bitcoin is quite a risky investment but it gives us better chance
to be rewarded in the future. We can work or invest with bitcoin and if we have the trust to hold it for long term then maybe we can make a fortune on bitcoin.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: January 10, 2018, 11:30:04 AM
for my opinion bitcoin worth because the high price value of it and become popular all over the world
It's not only the value because it will just follow when more people will use bitcoin.
We know that the value will increase when there is a demand and as I can see with the status of bitcoin now, the progress is really good
which means it can explode its value in the future and that is why I am holding it for long term.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 09, 2018, 02:12:35 PM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?
Bitcoin is a good example of making money from money.
This is a high profit with minimal overhead cost at very high risk.

Knowledge, expertise and patience are the good characteristics of a successful investors.
Bitcoin is a high risk investment but it can give us a good reward especially if we really trust bitcoin and we hold for longer term.
This is gambling since no investment that can guarantee profit but we are willing to risk because we have seen people who are early investors
who are already very successful now financially.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: January 09, 2018, 02:04:03 PM
Buy bitcoin in low price is the best thing to do the after you hold it ,Sell your bitcoin in high price is an opportunity to get huge profit , but we can not predict when is the right time to sell because the price can be increase more anytime.

We can't really say that selling bitcoin is a big loss since we have different way of thinking and different needs as well. For some maybe they find it as a loss foreseeing the bigger opportunity that it might increase in the coming days but to those who badly needs money, they will consider it as a blessing. Whatever it is, it depends on the person's strategy and necessity.
Having bitcoin in your wallet is like holding an opportunity that might give you a lot of profit in the future, that is why we are advice to hold
longer as the trend says that the value will rise overtime, however there are situation in life that we need to sell depending on our own purpose but we should always remember that we should not sell everything we have. If we have a chance to buy back then let's do it.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: January 07, 2018, 10:21:13 AM
As for now, I cannot compare them because cash and bitcoin is very different. Of course, all of us needs cash because it is world widely use and accepted by most. Bitcoin for me is just a store of value. I buy Bitcoin instead of letting it in bank. In that way my money's worth is not depreciating.
Banks are only good if you are saving money but when you are investing you need to choose bitcoin.
People are getting used to a traditional way of investing but bitcoin is quite different that is why since it's new and revolutionary it has great potential in the future.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 07, 2018, 10:15:44 AM
The future of the paper money will still be good, because the paper money still would be the most effective to the payment because it has the risk of smaller in an appeal to the digital susceptible by hackers that can take the digital we whenever
Paper money is very useful to us now and even in the future to come.
I think even with the active development in the digital currency side we cannot erase paper money in the circulation as it's very useful
to the majority of people, we can have a lot of choices or option to use to transact so that is good for us.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 07, 2018, 06:10:55 AM
Yes! You can positively make money from money by just investing it nor trade it. You can multiply your money in investing. Physical money can be damaged but  bitcoin can't be damaged.
As they say, it takes money to make money and that can be possible only if you are investing.
There is no impossible in this world if you work hard enough because the opportunity is very big here and we have already seen a lot of investors
in the crypto who have achieve the profit they dream.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: January 07, 2018, 05:59:18 AM
bitcoin for me is work and money because it earns you money even at home and does not make it all you need to do to invest money and wait for the value to increase and then you will exchange your money and you will earn even if you do not.

We have different definition on bitcoin but definitely we all aim for money, some people says it's investment also because they can
buy it and just keep it and wait for the value to grow, it's risky but I am still happy to see the growth and success of bitcoin as it continue to rise
despite the FUD and the bad news, people has more confidence on bitcoin now.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: January 06, 2018, 11:53:22 PM
There is a smal possibility that you can manipulate the price of bitcoin. That is if you have the large amount of bitcoin in your hand that you wanted to use that on your own benefit.
Only whales can manipulate the price of bitcoin but as holders are increasing they also slowly loses their power and in the end it's just
a battle of whales with the same intention but different strategy so one may lose and one may win but for use to ensure profit, we should know how to hold longer as that only our only chance to benefit on the success of bitcoin.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: January 06, 2018, 11:42:57 PM
They decided to prolong their money on their wallet inhoping it will increase as the price of Bitcoin increase in the market so that they will benefits more.. the higher  the value the greater the exchange for them... More profit...
Our hopes will come true, the price of bitcoin will continue to increase in the future and we should always be positive with that
as it has already proven how strong bitcoin is. When we expect smaller we cannot make enough money, we have to take bigger risk and believe
that this technology would change the world.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: January 06, 2018, 12:11:50 PM
It is intermational currency since the begining, we can use it anywhere on the globe to buy something that accepts bitcoin as payment. Its making progress everyday.
There is no hindrance for everyone who want to use therefore it's widely use and as an international currency it's faster in terms of transaction
compared to using the bank to facilitate your fund transfer or transaction you want to do.
Bitcoin as well provide privacy and that is very important because bank secrecy law is not applied all the time, it's hard to trust.
