Been there, done that. Most of these folks are excited and interested when the bull run is there but talk with them during the bears, they'd show no interest.

The reason is laziness, because people lack accuracy, and they understand this very well.
This is true.

They're lazy, they think that money grows on the trees and they just want to take quick cash.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi, AI, NFT & Gaming on Bitcoin is a scam? on: May 23, 2024, 12:55:01 AM
Those projects should just choose another network than of choosing BRC20 or ordinals or runes protocol.

They're probably going to succeed but only for a few days or weeks. And don't add anymore to the clogging of Bitcoin's network as they are only causing the fee to go up.

Anyway, do you guys look for signs from the universe through numbers?
Sometimes.

And if this is what you do and you're waiting for a sign to quit then good thing that you have considered looking at the number 8 and signifies it as a time to quit forever.

If I am not sure with what I do or what to decide and I am totally out of my mind, I wait for signs whether to proceed on a trip or not and other stuff that I should do but not mostly with numbers.

Clever.

Every process in the monetary system has their own chunk and that's what the ads says. And yes, crypto is better as we only need to pay for the transaction fees to move along the money we transfer.

Anyway, HAPPY BITCOIN PIZZA DAY!
325  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Raising children in this current society on: May 22, 2024, 08:45:49 PM
That is very true @Op parents need to be at alert in raising their children, but the fact is that parents alone cannot raise their children. in the concept of nature-nurture controversy, the possibility of a child learning more from nature is greater than the possibility of a child learning from nurture controversy(parents). it is quite obvious that even the teachers cannot raise the children well but the irony of it here is that the child spent more of his or her time with peer groups, teachers both in schools, churches, and even at home. so, environments play a major role here.
And that's why if they are in a bad company, they'll adopt the bad attitude of those people that surrounds them. As parents, we need to guide them and still teach them to what to do is right whenever we're not with them and wherever they go.

They're going to bring that teachings until they grow up and they'll know who to be with and who to flee from.

We have no control over the environment that they are in but we can protect them through guidelines and they will listen if we raise them properly.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Story of my life on: May 22, 2024, 08:15:58 PM
Not for me.

But I think that OP and others who are experiencing the same story is probably because of placebo effect. Which what you think is happening will definitely happen.

And what others are telling that it's also happening to them is likely you are also dealing with. It's like attracting the positive and negative depending on what you are thinking.

Some says it's the law of attraction IIRC.

They know how to touch our hearts like my cat because he's so cute and fluffy, I'd give him my food as well with a few meows.

If he feels soft and fluffy to you, that's because he likes you.  Smiley
I think so.  Tongue

He likes to roll on the floor whenever I pass by through him.

Cats have the ability to make their fur stiff or soft, depending on their mood.
I didn't know about that, I thought that it was all natural and there's nothing to do with their mood but thanks I know now.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 22, 2024, 07:20:53 PM
I feel more like aside of taking a lose the Indiana Pcers team is growing and taking again a good position. Why? because they show to themselves and to us they can fight against any team and they make this again now against Boston Celtics who was again the favorite against them, so they now know they can win against Celtivs, lets see how they do in the next games and more in home games.
I was shouting while watching the game. I thought that the Pacers could have made it. With just few mistakes that they did in the 4th quarter and few remaining minutes, there's no OT that shall happen and it's gotta be their first win.

Tyrese and the rest of the Pacers are underrated. They've made it this far and get a head to head toe agains Celtics who has always been on the playoffs.

Let's see on game 2.

And next, the Mavs and the Wolves.
329  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 22, 2024, 06:47:49 PM
You can use your entire salary to gamble and nobody is going to question you about it. You are have the right to make the right decision for yourself. There is no standard percentage for gamble from your salary, your responsibilities, things you spend your money on will determine how much money you should spend on gambling.
Someone who had worked all day long until receiving his salary and spending it in betting is totally out of his mind. While I know that there are people that are totally out of their minds.

Doing this is on the next level of craziness, you don't gamble with all of your salary but yes, you're free to do that and no one is going to stop you because that's your money and not ours.

They're so adorable!

And they know we think so!!  They know how to manipulate us by looking cute.  I spend more on my cat's food than myself.  :/
So true.

They know how to touch our hearts like my cat because he's so cute and fluffy, I'd give him my food as well with a few meows.

Dogs > Cats
I know that they're cute as well but it hits me differently with kittens and cats.

That's so cute.

Make more posts about cute cats that you see on the web or if you have your kittens in your home, you can make this thread as a compilation of their pictures.

They're so adorable!
332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading belongs to everyone? on: May 21, 2024, 11:47:10 PM
And that's why it isn't suitable for everyone. There are so many traders that are doing it because they know how to trade.

There is no luck all the time and when people have no knowledge of trading then there is no way they can execute consistently. Never try it if you don't have good knowledge because it will only cause problems.
I may say that some did it by luck but that's inconsistent and we only choose the consistency if it's with trading.

Quote
While some new traders that think they can survive with the market's behavior are just giving up when they're not able to make it.

As they say, those who wins are not giving up and the losers are giving up.
Basically trading requires money and when someone experiences losses every time in trading then I am sure they will never be able to survive.
There is always a process required and it is impossible to be involved in trading just by relying on luck because if this behavior is implemented then I am sure people will fail to understand trading.
Even people who really understand how to trade experience losses at certain times, only they are able to recover in the next trade because they have much better mental preparedness.
Yes, even the best traders also losses sometimes. And that's the market behavior that I am telling, while them being experienced they are also moving on the point that they are doing it with the futures.

So with sudden fluctuation, they get liquidated so if they don't see it happening then the newbies are prone to it.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 21, 2024, 11:17:00 PM
Any sport can be a worst to bet on depending on the hobby you are having and also the opinion that you have based on the actual situation of their federations.

IMO, there's no way to know if someone is telling the truth that they're corrupt because there's always the hidden secret and not-so secret turn of events from the call of the referees.

They shouldn't just call on the referee but also the judge or scorers if the fight ends with an unanimous decision.
Exactly, any sport is prone to this kind of issue, even how popular the sport is. That's why there are some gamblers who are just betting on huge tournaments or for example in specific sports, the tournament or league is the most popular one, or some betting once the tournament is already in the championship or finals, just making sure they are safe for some match-fixing or any related issue.
Yes, the bigger ones are unlikely to have this kind of issue but they can never be safe from so called "mafia".

Exactly! It really depends on where do you want to place your bet, Everything seems possible, sometimes our instincts or what we expect to win can be defeated depending on the flow of the game so we can't really be complacent even if we have memorized the tactics and strategy of the party we support.
So as a bettor, you know what are the potential issues that a certain match can be with. But if you are mostly following the professional scene, you will not need that much effort with it.

But as I've said, they are unlikely to be dealt with such but you'll never know.

I am an android fan while my wife is an iOS user. What I don't like with android nowadays, the cheap ones have got the bloatwares.

Those crazy ads that you have no option to remove them will pop up when you do something important and they're annoying. They said that the newer versions don't have them anymore.

If it's about cheap and saving money, the chinese phones are great for that but I think they're designed for kids and gaming. But if you're a grown up and adult, you want a peaceful phone that can stand by for so long and won't invade your privacy.

335  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be wealthy you need action on: May 21, 2024, 10:09:40 PM
Another important point is not to give up. We must make our best plans and work well for our goal. Acting in a planned manner often leads to the goal.
When you think that your plans are going to work, and you start to see its failure within the first tries. It's fine not to give up but when you have done attempts several times and it's still not working, you may consider to change your plans and not to give up.

Sometimes I advise people if their best option is to give up even if they've got detailed plans and executions, they can give up if that's going to give them peace of mind.

Remember that wealth can't be measured if you have no peace of mind and it's draining you up to your soul.
Quitting is never an option. You can change plans but still focus to the same goal, to make decent earnings and be profitable in the long run. However, not everyone has the potentials to invest because no matter what they do, failure is inevitable. With that, if quitting will be the best option to save them from losses, then let it be. But know that we should not stop from seeking earning opportunities even if it means shifting careers, otherwise we will end up with financial struggles and we’ll starve to death.
It is an option.

When you think that you are doing all that you can but the one path you have chosen as a profession or a business person is too saturated, you have to give it up.

That's why we believe that giving up isn't an option because there's the thought that giving up is just for losers. No, it's an option for you to get redirected to a better choice that you probably haven't seen yet.

And that's why the bold part that you have said contradicts your own words.

When someone experiences failure on the first try, of course this will make it difficult for someone who is mentally weak to try again, but for those who have a growth mindset, of course this will make them find out where they made a mistake so they can correct it and try again until they they achieve what they want to be realized.

Choosing to give up and not continue with the plans we have made is sometimes a good thing, because if we force ourselves to do this we might experience failure which will make it harder for us to face and I think giving up is indeed the right choice.
Giving is sometimes a good thing when you're tired and can't do it anymore because you only see the negative out of your efforts. But if you're going to do a lot of excuses and you only want to quit and forget about your dream, it is your reason and so, simply quit.

The winners don't give up but it's best to say that they take a rest for a moment and gets back to their grind and do things on their own again. Moving forward to the goal that they want to achieve and that is becoming a successful person.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 21, 2024, 09:06:17 PM
Well, anybody will be totally in disappointment with what happened. I agree that they still did great this season, after winning the last season's ring, they still made it far to the playoffs.

The sad truth there, it seems that the Nuggets only has three players.

Jokic, Murray and Gordon.

Only Jokic is the consistent amongst the 3, Murray had on/off performance, and Gordon wasn't able to contribute and stop ANT as well. Porter Jr, who average close to 20 points didn't get double digits in the majority of the game and his shooting is awful.

While the Wolves has a lot of players stepping up, like Gobert, although a liability in defense if he faces Jokic, he was big in the middle and even scored a lot in the last game. So with Naz Reid who played good defense on Jokic, while Alexander-Walker put Murray on lock mode. KAT is big if he is not in foul trouble and as former 3 point champion, he shoots from that range uncontested and makes it.
Yeah, Porter Jr was also their contributor but for the past games he didn't do that much.

Great defense against the Nuggets is their weakness. And that's where the Wolves are great, now we're going to see the first match of the conference finals.

The Boston Celtics vs Indiana Pacers, the crowd favorite of course the Celtics.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 21, 2024, 12:21:33 PM
Yeah that was a crazy game but it wasn't ant who won them that game it was the other guys.  Naz Reid came up huge.  Jaden McDaniel had a quiet 23, and that putback by KAT on that offensive rebound was so clutch.  First time in history anyone has come back in the playoffs down by 15 or more.  Gonna male for a great wcf (which the NBA finals winner should come out of).
No doubt KAT shined on that game. And the solid defense against Jokic did also helped him not to have that scoring position.

It's so frustrating on the side of the Denver Nuggets when they're almost sure going to end the game with a lot of lead. Coming from 20 points lead to losing the game on that game 7.

 Undecided

That was really disappointing and you can see on the interview of coach Malone.

Michael Malone Upset at Reporter's Question After Nuggets Game 7 Loss to Wolves

But they need to move on now, at least they won a championship last season, so they just need to improve this team again. Probably it's also time for them to think of getting rid of players that are not so useful in the playoffs, Jokic and Murray will remain as they are the bread and butter of the team, but they should be sorrounded with great role players, so they'll time they'll not choke.

At which moment did you abandon your original life
Original life? is there another life that we have to live on? Because AFAIK, the life that we're living right now is the original one.

and challenge the unknown?
Life is full of challenges and we have to deal with them, whether we like it or not. We only have one life to live and we're going to pass away on this world so, if you are dealing with such difficulties. Think of it as they're just going to pass by and you'll eventually able to surpass and overcome those.
