321  Other / Off-topic / Re: Stop ignoring threats of violence from universities. on: April 17, 2024, 10:20:41 PM
I am angry at universities for three reasons.

1. They have promoted violence against me.

2. They have so far refused to apologize.
Don't they have a higher department where you can send this complain and report it to their superiors? It's like what branch of the government where you at that handle these universities where you can file a complain about these matters?

What violence did they ploy against you?

I can't organize a protest, because I am the only person standing against the violence.
I doubt that, many are against violence but organizing a protest, it's a different thing and if no one doesn't agree with you, maybe there's something else that's on you.
322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: April 17, 2024, 09:49:24 PM
Certainly trading can never be a lifetime job, we cannot earn money from trading all time. We must have losses at some point. If we don't have a permanent good job system, then we will not be able to cover these losses in trading, so it will have a lot of impact on our daily life. So we must have a good job system (From which we will get a good salary), So that if we have a loss from trading then we can cover that loss and continue trading again.
As you try becoming an established trader, you have to sustain it through having a stable job. But once you get there, you're starting to have the idea that trading can be an ideal thing for everyone.

It can certainly be a lifetime job.

You can be a digital nomad forever but at the same time, you can do trading as well. It could be your part time job forever but it's a skill that we have to learn in order to survive.

Losses are normal as if you're doing your own business from it.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regret in cryptocurrency? on: April 17, 2024, 09:22:21 PM
I came across a tragic story. The protagonist of the story was looking for an alternative to PayPal in July 2010. He found BTC. At that time, the price of BTC was 10 cents, but no one bought it.Like many unfortunate stories, he put it aside, and then forgot about it until it appeared in the media in 2013.
It's normal to see those stories that they've regret not buying Bitcoin when it was on the earliest days of it. Can't blame anyone for that when they've seen or heard BTC about it.

That was like the glory days of internet scams and that's why whatever they see in internet asking for investments or if it's required to invest, majority avoids it as that's the concept of scams without diving deep to what actually Bitcoin is.

All of us have the same regret, if it's not about buying early, it was selling too early.
324  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you be bold enough To introduce your gambling Mate To your spouse on: April 17, 2024, 08:52:58 PM
You just heard it and that's their business.

If you happen to be at the same situation, keep your opinion to yourself because not everyone needs to provide answers if that guy is proud or not or just someone who's happy to introduce the friend he met in the gambling house.

Well, if we overhear things and we're interested to meddle with their affairs and things run into our mind on what they're thinking, it's best to keep it to ourselves.

5 minutes left on Q4.

Safe to say congrats in advance to the Sacramento Kings. So in the first round of the playoffs, we'll see Thunders vs Kings.

That wasn’t the greatest second half, but it is always a good night when the Kings light the beam. A bit of a shame Klay had such a bad night in what was likely to be his last game in a Warriors uniform, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.
Klay was the highlight for the GSW, he literally did nothing but took that attention. It was all bad beats and shots for him, I guess we'd see an announcement of his departure and trade deals soon?

I think the Kings have a real shot at beating the Thunder, but I believe they still have to get through the Pelicans first.
Oh, yeah I forgot about the Pelicans. LOL, thanks I was just excited to see them play against Thunders but I hope they win against Pelicans.

Not yet; King needs to face and beat the Pelicans first before facing the Thunder.
Yeah, thanks mate. I was too excited when I was typing in here while watching.  Cheesy

327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling: Modern entertainment or highly addictive game? on: April 16, 2024, 07:56:01 PM
There is no other point of view about online gambling for me. It is as-is, whatever is the word is then that's it. As gambling, there's the entertaining part of it but also the addictive side which is when you're able to win some money, you'll never stop.

It's like a drug that you always want to be a winner because of the money that you may want to win.

No need to expand any of the meaning there and it's just either of the two, you have fun because you enjoy or you are gambling because of the money.
In my opinion online gambling is both a means of modern entertainment and a game that can be very addictive to anyone who plays.
because, gambling as a modern entertainment tool is only used by gamblers just to have fun in their spare time and those who are curious want to try it.
However, online gambling can also be addictive or addictive to everyone who plays on online gambling sites.
because you have tasted victory and experienced profits.
In online gambling, a player has experienced victory and made money, a gambler still wants to try online gambling games again. Because not only is it a means of entertainment, online gambling can also make money.
make money easily by playing and getting profits. So many players who initially want to try become addicted.
and vice versa. If a gambler experiences continuous losses, he will continue to have the ambition to return the capital he has spent. And this will make every player addicted, because online gamblers will have the ambition to return the capital they have spent and the losses they have experienced.
I couldn't agree more.

It is addictive whatever you treat it. As an entertainment, as a machine to make money or whatever your preference is. As long as you get hook on it and you've been doing it constantly.

You'll get used to it and that will practice your mind and body to do just the same again because the sensation and emotion is already there that have been developed when you've done it for several times.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: April 16, 2024, 06:31:02 PM
Don't use up to 10% because for me that's quite high already. 1%-5% is fine but when you go more than that then that's sort of alarming honestly.

But if you can take the loss with that amount that you're going to do with your salary then there's no problem at all and all you have to do is be good at managing not just your budget but also your emotion.

Yeah because it's not only about the money but also the mental capital that would require you to risk such amount of money. You don't want to lose all the money that you've just worked hard don't you? Which means that you should be only betting the amount of money that only seems insignificant for you. That you won't stress about it even when you lose. Because regardless if your new or a professional, you are going to lose in this game. So if you aren't prepared for that, you may lose your sanity. Increasing your risk doesn't only equate increasing your profits, it also increase the amount of stress you are going to carry.
If you happen to practice that kind of percentage monthly from your salary or even every 15th, that might go deeper and will become a habit. That instead of allocating it to more important things.

That part is going to the gambling funds that's quite a lot and if you lose, you might think that it should be recovered and then where you're going to get your fund again?

From your salary and that adds to the percentage and if you lose, you'll have more and it's a repetitive cycle.
329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Budgeting is overrated on: April 16, 2024, 04:17:47 PM
People have different opinions on budgeting because it has made them feel restricted and takes away their freedom to enjoy life.
Who are those people? They perhaps didn't lived like they're all alone with their lives. Budgeting isn't overrated, it's actually a survival life skills that everyone has to learn.

While it's like a mandated skill to be learned by most of us, there are people that can't do it because of their lifestyle.

Well, we've got different ways of how we deal life today. If they feel like they're on a handcuff, that's what they think what's good for them.

Less than 24 hours and we're going to see Lakers and Pelicans. I'm stuck thinking on which team should I go but my heart is with the Lakers.  Cheesy
Lakers gonna play hard even if that means they'll be facing the Denver Nuggets in the first round.
There are speculations that they might purposely tank in this game to avoid the Nuggets, but I think there's no basis on that because the Lakers wants to be a champion and they'll face any team that will be match with them,  even if that team swept them in the WCF last season.
I'm not thinking about them avoiding Nuggets and purposely going to lose against the Pelicans. But what happens, happens.

It actually is an advantage because whoever loses on 7/8 still have the chance for the loser bracket to play for the 8th seed.
They cannot take chances on that as if they loss tomorrow, there's no gurantee that they'll win against the Warriors or Lakers.
Every game is very important to them and they'll treat it as a do or die game.
What I mean being on that place is actually an advantage, win or lose, both of them takes two chances and won't get an instant elimination.

Everyone is really looking at the Lakers and Pelicans match, do that point that the odds are literally 50/50. So there could be sentiments for the Lakers but we can't discount the Zion lead Pelicans wanted to prove something as this is long overdue. First time that we will see Zion being healthy and have a good chance to make it to the playoffs.
No doubt that a healthy Zion is a threat but we'll see his flexibility.

On the other hand, the Warriors are the favorite over the Sacramento Kings. So it's going to be a great play-in regardless on who will make it, and who will not eliminated. So let's tonight, most likely a lot of fans are going to tune in to watch.
Not surprised which is the favorite on this match but Kings has been doing great since last season.

Lakers at 8th, not a bad position to be in, they could beat Pelicans and even finish at 7th as well, going from 9th to there within two games is definitely a big achievement without a doubt. I understand that people may look at it differently, but I do believe that's actually an advantage for Lakers.

332  Other / Off-topic / Re: What meaning do you find in scammer and spammer…..? on: April 16, 2024, 09:44:13 AM
The only similarity between spammers and scammers is that both are used in negative context, meaning that they're not beneficial to their recipients, other than that they're both very different in meanings
Scammers are no doubt is bringing negative context to everyone because they all have intention to fool and trick people.

As for spammers, in the context of it, that's subjective. Some may say that someone is a spammer because of how he's passionate with what he shares and others don't find it interesting but instead they find that guy a spammer.

But all of us have that description and thoughts about spammer, right now, there's another context about the spammers and that's with the bitcoin blockchain that we all hate as they increase the fees.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: April 15, 2024, 11:42:19 PM
Casinos tend to win more than individual gamblers overall, as they have a built-in advantage known as the "house edge" in most games. This ensures that, on average, the casino profits over time, even though individual gamblers may experience wins in the short term.
And no matter what happens, casinos will always win because they're a business. This is a establishment that needs to earn money from their customers.

As the customers, the gamblers. They also have the means to win sometime but it's not possible that they'd win the same as the casino at most times.

It's easy to understand how the business of casino works and what a gambler's stand on this one.
334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mindset or skill set? on: April 15, 2024, 11:05:37 PM
Having both is the best.

Having a good mindset is talent while being skilled can be learned by someone through training. So, combining the both of them is actually a gift that you'll be able to overcome things.

You're going to think of positivity and you're always having that thought outside the box and executing things through your skillset will make things easier.

First, when you receive your monthly salary, only use 1%-10% or any amount you can afford to lose for gambling.
only use what you can afford to lose in gambling, so that when you lose you will not feel bad at the moment that something big has left your account like the way some people use to feel bad when they lose money.

337  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ways to Increase the likelihood of having twins on: April 15, 2024, 02:16:51 PM
I believe that it is hereditary but if there's a way for a couple to boost their cells or eggs to have that chance of getting a twin then I don't know about science since I didn't studied that.

Much better for those that have read this and wanting to try then it's always best to the medical professionals or doctors that are majoring into this kind of studies and cases.
Like yours I believe this is hereditary because if this can be treated to become successful
then rich family can have their own set of twins but it is not that easy to turn into reality..
My grandma has her twin sister but none of us till my generation that has a twin coming from birth.
I think that they can have some modification through genes through science but it comes with a hefty cost.

But mainly, this is like a gift from nature and it is hereditary. I haven't looked yet with the studies that have successfully modified it with couples that have no history and background of having twins in their family.
338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crafting a safer strategy for growing your crypto portfolio: on: April 15, 2024, 11:10:10 AM
Have you explored such opportunities before? Feel free to share your experiences.
Not really.

But based on my own observation, it's more profitable to just HODL it and wait for better prices to come. Being active trader is a good one when you want to increase the size of your portfolio.

I am not saying that I've got a huge size of Bitcoin that I am holding but I am very much satisfy and I want to add more. As a passive holder, you'd see that there's greater gains with holding rather than being active trying to beat the market and other traders.

What is up with Bitcoin transaction fee since two days ago now?
Before we've got the ordinals/brc20, I think it's about the runes.

--> https://decrypt.co/221962/bitcoin-runes-launch-at-the-halving-heres-everything-you-need-to-know

Or this has something to do with the massive sell off? Can massive sell off be thr reason behind the transaction fee spike?
I think the higher than price of Bitcoin, it can be the time where the fees can become more expensive but not yet this time.

So what your thoughts are?

What did you dived for and what's the kind of deep that you've got for us for having that project? Because it seems that you truly are optimistic with this project and you talk a lot about it.

Or in fact, you're part of it and working to this brand?
