321  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can unnecessary taxation be avoided when withdrawing crypto profits? on: November 23, 2023, 10:10:26 PM
50% being a full time trader? That's nuts, you're trading for your taxes.

I thought the news about the proposed tax percentage on India is crazy but no. The one that you've mentioned there in Belgium is a lot crazier than of the 30% in India.

Try to find the local community there that are into crypto. We're not from your country so we don't basically have the idea on what must be done. I guess those people in your local that does the same have been doing some things that can be suggested to you.
322  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will SEC delay on Spot ETF approval do to Bitcoin's price? on: November 21, 2023, 08:27:26 PM
No one knows how much the price will be pertaining to this delay in approval for the applied Bitcoin spot ETFs. And with the possible drawback of Bitcoin's price, what's possible is due to the correction that we need to see and I think it's happening now.

But to look at a greater correction, I don't think that we'll see that prior to halving and with the potential of approval for any of the Bitcoin ETFs that has been applied.

One time will come after the halving and whether these ETFs approved or not, we won't be depending to its delay and everyone's mind will be focused on the actuality of Bitcoin and the mining rewards that has been halved that shall price drive the demand and price higher.
323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your solution to pay less Fee ? on: November 20, 2023, 09:19:12 PM
The solution is not to transact at these high fee times. If you can pay what the network is requiring you with the high priority, no one can stop you in doing so.

But if your transactions are just like measly amounts then you don't have to sweat on it. Like what everyone is talking about waiting for it to drop down, that's what I am doing. I am not in a hurry and my transactions can be delayed so that's totally not a problem to me.

And to those that are in different situation and you need to do the transaction as much as you can. The alternative is to use altcoins that have cheaper fees yet fast in confirmations like LTC which is what everyone trying to do now.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you in profit? on: November 18, 2023, 10:35:22 PM
You are not alone, if we're going to general everyone's experience we're on the losses right now and we're probably just doing it to forget the losses and keep going on and record a new start.

IMO even the professional gamblers, they've got larger losses but they forget about that the next day they win bigger profits. The idea here is that, as long as you can bear the losses you make, that's nice.

And if you're making a profit, make sure that you'll allocate that to something important so that it won't be taken back whenever you're about to loss. That's the point I guess for most of them that are wise enough and learned from their experiences.
325  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Gigd.xyz a Bitcoin friendly service marketplace. on: November 17, 2023, 10:02:24 PM
You should have chosen a better domain, this .xyz sounds like not serious honestly and that's why we barely see those real marketplaces that have this domain.

Moving on, if someone sees this $50 bond thing, they'd definitely going to flee away from your marketplace. Even if you say that it's refundable. Someone who just seen a platform that has this amount of charge for freelancers and employers will definitely choose the other platforms where they don't need to have such bonds to avail their services.
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status on: November 16, 2023, 10:29:43 PM
That's a good comeback that you have given these words to assure that those have thought that you did an exit scam will be refunded/reimbursed on what's left on their accounts on your casino when you have decided to stop operations and gone.

It's the first step that you need to do so that you'll clear the mess that you've left and I think that there are other things that you have to do if you want to retain that reputation that you've got once before.

It may not be easy and quick but you just do the right thing to clear your reputation and retain it back.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2023, 11:46:09 PM
Harden curse is real but I don't know the articles that are popping everywhere are true about him ranting on the locker room and even Kawhi didn't skip that part of his.

Draymond "may" had the good intentions, like protect your friend, but headlock, and for that long, wasn't the way to do it. It's famously known that Draymond is a dirty player, he was the reason why Warriors lost a whole title, because he kept on kicking others, dude is a dirty player through and through, and this was one of those moments when he did what he does, and I hope he gets at least a few games suspension.
Dray is like the gangster of the team and he's ready to go all in if ever one of his brothers get in trouble. But his approach is wrong while there's no real danger on it, he's the one that brings danger to the team and to the ones he thought brought danger.

What's the decision on him, will he get some few games of suspension?
328  Economy / Economics / Re: How to survive hyperinflation? on: November 14, 2023, 11:09:34 PM
How do you strategically navigate hyperinflation to safeguard your financial well-being?
Fortunately, I haven't been in a country where I live that has hyperinflation but if ever that I'll deal with it. The typical arrangements that I have been doing to cope up with the usual inflation is what I'll just do the same thing.

Would you invest on crypto, stocks or household when the cash is not the king?
Cash is still king by that time IMO, usually with the assets that we have, sometimes that they're hard to liquidate and that's why I'll still keep some but obviously.

Aside from crypto, I'd avoid stocks and government bonds and if possible that my money is enough then I'll go ahead with the real estate and some golds and jewelries.
329  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can anyone recommend an event where one can test their trading skills? on: November 13, 2023, 11:07:45 PM
Demo as they say and you don't actually have to go with actual defi trading demo accounts. Go with most of the known trading websites for fiat because they're the ones that are offering demo accounts for you to just get to have the idea of how trading goes.

But if you want to have the real test of the crypto market, there are some crypto exchanges that do offer that and one of them could be your choice through this article[1].

330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you securely manage and store your Bitcoin wallets? on: November 12, 2023, 11:48:27 PM
First is to never publish your Bitcoin wallet's seed or recovery phrase on any social media or messaging app where you will message yourself or own account for it.

Someone might snatch your account, hack and gain access from it and from there, you know what's next to happen. The culprit will easily have access to your funds and thanks to your strategy for being ignorant.

There are many ways but I think that's the most important to don't store your keys on cloud spaces or storages or apps that are connected to internet.
331  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Best Bitcoin Chart Ever on: November 10, 2023, 11:31:28 PM
While, I'd like to congratulate you for having that accurate prediction because we don't get that a lot.

And if you want to know my future prediction, it's of $178,000 in Oct-Nov of 2025. Do not sell. All the best!  Wink
This is what I need now. I'm trying to hold and don't want to get some profits right now although for some reasons, it's making myself think that I should get at least a few from the current situation of the market.

2 years from now, that's all I have to wait?  Tongue

But it is also possible that we get more and pass that price.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anyone saw mempool right now? Mempool spam on: November 09, 2023, 09:02:34 PM
What further steps will look like if this spam continues?
Bitcoin's price will continue too.  Grin

I don't remember this happening before in history
Remember the time when ICOs have been that much and it has affected the ETH network. The fees for a coffee was about $10 and I think we're going back to that time.

Because IIRC, the fee for Bitcoin transactions during that time was also high back in 2017 bull run.
333  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Tomorrow you wake up, You got 50000$ in your hand. What will you do? on: November 07, 2023, 11:18:10 PM
If that's enough to buy me a comfortable house, I'd love to do it. It's been one of my goals to have my own house of my design but I don't think that's going to be enough considering the inflation and cost of materials have been increasing.

So, as a solution, I'll just put it all in to Bitcoin and the roller coaster ride determine its future use and that might be my ticket to that house that I have been dreaming of designing.

And if there are some excess, some vacation to release the stress hormones that I have acquired all of these years.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 05, 2023, 11:41:56 PM
Boston Celtics is very strong this season and they are undefeated. 5-0.
This is a good start and they've always been like this. And speaking of Boston Celtics, I just want to recognize one of their players since I saw this fact that's posted on the web.

It's about Derrick White that has managed to 157 times for the team and missed 2 games. And those two times of being absent were actually has a good and valid reason.

1st was when his first baby was born.

2nd was for the same reason but for the 2nd.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the odds of guessing someone's private key or seedphrase? on: November 03, 2023, 11:05:27 PM
Until quantum computers become a thing and is made available in the commercial markets, then it's nearly impossible to crack a private key. Even if an attacker wants to use brute force to gain access, the required efforts far outweighs the potential reward which is why no one really attempts it.

Also, it's worth noting that the SHA-256 cryptography algorithm hasn't been broken yet.
This is what they say about quantum computers but until we haven't see it happen, it's unlikely that this is possible through it. I think that I have already heard this like more than 6 years ago but with how fast technology evolves today, I don't think that we should worry with quantum computers and they'll just mostly used commercially.

Except they have shit ton of money they'd like to waste without any expectations of getting something back.
That can be an expensive experiment for them just to have nothing in the end.

Honestly, when I have first read the news about superstars uniting in the LA Clippers, the first thing that came to my mind is bout them gonna explode with that roster.

Yeah, explode in a negative manner that they need to build chemistry again and it is possible that the management might do some trades again in the middle of this conference.

I am not optimistic with their roster, having plenty of superstars doesnt guarantee a ring.

It will be fun to watch them, but I don’t see them getting beyond the first round of the playoffs. An odd pairing of defensive specialists and a ball hog. I wonder what Kawhi Leonard’s true feelings on the trade are.
I've just watched them against Lakers and honestly, Kawhi did well together with George but it wasn't a good ending for them. Still gonna wait until this full roster gets inside to play together.

Who's going to be the leader, the playmaker and the one to adjust for their different roles.

Joel Embiid got fined $35,000 today for his “suck it” celebration gesture against the Blazers on Sunday. I actually found it pretty funny.
Haha, he's just a fan of that gesture. LOL.

338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: October 30, 2023, 06:33:48 PM
I don't!, no stash for trading all that just for BTC investment and HODLing so on, how to accumulate using DCA strategy.... 30% of monthly income for BTC investment and the rest for living and other needs.
Nice to see that you've got the status to put 30% of your monthly income to BTC and you're firm in holding that.

You are right with the implication that 30% is a lot to be investing into bitcoin and/or otherwise saving, jossiel..

Most people have trouble saving any income and frequently, 10% of their income can be a reasonable and even a somewhat aggressive target for a lot of people (even though surely some people have more discretionary income than others and if they make a lot of money, sometimes they can live a kind of minimalist lifestyle and end up getting up to decently high savings/investing levels).  Many of the normies can make quite a bit of progress just by going from near or at 0% to 10%,
Yeah, that's already a lot honestly. But if he can afford that, I'm cheering him up as it's kind of seeing someone doing better in life and that's why there's a reason for them to cheer and be happy for them.

There were moments of my life that I can't even afford at least 5% of my monthly income and tried to get into some level because I want to maximize that time because price of Bitcoin was quite low during that time.

and surely if they can invest/save more than 10%, then the is o.k. as long as their other financial matters are in order.
Yup.

As long as his financial status is fine and can afford to do that and instead of doing something with his money to nonsense things, this is way better than of those.

Nice to see that you've got the status to put 30% of your monthly income to BTC and you're firm in holding that.

For me trading is too complicated and there is more risk of greater loss than profit, here we have to understand all the patterns that are needed and the pressure of the mind because we have to choose the shitcoin that is traded, so I don't do any trading except BTC investment.
You're right.

Trading is riskier than holding and as you accumulate, you just do the sequence and the practice that you've been doing monthly or whenever you've got more spare money to do so.

The pressure is real when you're needing to get that losses you have just made and when you can't, the mental effect to you is greater because it's going to give you mix feelings.

HODLING is the best, no pressure, no need to think of what you have to trade but just to accumulate and sell in profit whenever it's needed.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 25, 2023, 10:36:52 PM
Jokic is hands down the best player in the league right now is barely a debate.  I know I know embid with his mvp but cmon.  Take jokic off the Nuggets and they'd struggle to qualify for the playoffs.  He can do everything at a high level and has one of the best basketball iqs I've seen in awhile.  Dude rarely makes the wrong move whether or not it works its the play that shoukd be made.  I enjoy watching his game so long as he isn't shredding the Knicks up.
There is no debate for that and that has already proven not just last season but also when he's won the MVP for consecutive seasons.

No contest that Jokic is like the new category and basis for most centers and he's added up a new role to his position.

Many say that Embid is too overrated and if that rumor is gonna be real for the Knicks, that won't still be enough to stop Joker and his team.
