321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 04, 2024, 09:24:39 PM
That's actually a good point, I thought that most offline casinos have the best physical apperances and ambiance. And with that, it is making people return to them.

If someone who's got a lung problem or truly sicked. There's even no need to go somewhere but just to stay at home. There's no need for someone who's on that condition to go with the crowded places where it is going to deteriorate your situation.

But let's say someone who's a smoker, stays at home and then gambles online, is that another health benefit? I guess yes, because no other people will be able to inhale those 2nd hand smoke but only his family.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Quantum Computing on: February 04, 2024, 04:05:29 PM
As everyone have pointed out, this has been discussed long time ago. But let's have it, if quantum computing really going to break Bitcoin's security, let it be and we'll see how it is going to break it because I've been hearing about it.

Like someone who just came across a topic on it while browsing then becomes interested to this topic. Honestly, I'm tired of hearing about it while Bitcoin is thriving and getting close to the one ideal adoption of it from many countries of being a legal tender. Here goes topics like this, the devs are there and don't think that Bitcoin won't even have that upgrade just as how enthusiasts with quantum computers breaking bitcoin's network.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 03, 2024, 11:22:54 PM
Also , funny how Falcons are doing great in Dota2 but they are awful in CS2 right ? I mean they do have a stacked roster but almost all of them are way past their prime.
There are teams like that in Dota 2, their team and org are doing well in some other esports but not with the other. And speaking of Dota 2, just a few hours from on we're going to see some clash again of the best teams and Team Falcons is going to participate since the venue is on their MENA region.

All teams are strong and interesting.

It's going to be nonstop action again back in Dota 2 and just watch and revert to CS when it's done.  Grin
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About PI Network trend. Is this coin worth holding? on: February 03, 2024, 09:43:18 PM
It is not a trend buddy, there was an exchange that listed it as an IOU and see on how these exchanges are also taking advantage of the situation. Because they know that they're not even going to list the actual project and the devs don't work for it.

And instead waiting for some hypes to be gone, they've listed it so that those gullible folks will be seen trading the coin.

It's a total scam and never feel regretful if you're going to abandon it because it doesn't makes sense. You guys have been told about the upcoming updates and sh!ts? Don't be gullible.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent have you hated yourself due to your gambling losses? on: February 02, 2024, 05:06:44 PM
I don't think that I have that moments that I have hated myself due to gambling and with my losses. I understand and accept any loss that I incur especially with sports betting.

I've got a lot of disappointments and losses but that doesn't make me hate myself for my actions. Maybe some of the times, I've got regrets but it didn't come to the point that I have to hate myself.

A normal reaction like cursing and regretting that I have bet when I lose sometimes but it's not that I hate myself due to that because eventually, that feeling is gone.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there Casinos that offer Birthday Bonuses to their users? on: February 02, 2024, 04:38:58 AM
That was a bonus as she works for the company but as for the casinos, IIRC, there were casinos that do this also to the loyal customers that they have. And even with not the loyal customers as long as they've been active and have sums of voluming wager to them, they'll consider it.

But as for the amount of bonus or gift, I don't think that many will receive the same amount as the casino worker. They're generous to their workers for giving that much knowing that it's a big amount against the local currency.

I'd also do the same, I'll spend it for something else and won't put it back to the casino.
327  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin.ag-⚽#1 BTC ETH LTC XRP DOGE USDT Sportsbook🏈-Over 5,000 Casino Games🎰 on: February 02, 2024, 12:27:05 AM
I am not a good poker player but reading oshambles review, I feel that the effort and feeling exerted on the article was great and full of excitement and joy.

On the positive note about mentioning the addiction, that's the point of why he's coming back because the vibe of what betcoin social poker has brought to him and some may think that it's on a negative tone but it's not.

We just found out he meant to say addition LOL
LOL, serously?  Grin

Anyway, for Dota 2 bettors out there. We've got a lot of line ups for the matches and we've been waiting for. The closest tournament to happen is with 12 teams competing for the prize pool of $1M on BB Dacha Dubai 2024 and it's just two days from now.

It's already listed so don't miss it out folks. And this is going to be a long tournament, more than a week. And after this, we've got the ESL One Birmingham and DreamLeague season 22.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Viewpoint of a fan gambling on: February 01, 2024, 04:40:20 PM
Depends on the odds. Even if I'm a hardcore fan of some players or teams, if the odds are not worth placing a bet, I'd rather skip betting.
That's true, depending on the odds. Even if we're hardcore fans of a team but if the odds are just going to allow us to win even less than the amount that we bet, it's not justifiable to take that risk.

Because you know with these odds that are too small, it's better to just leave them alone and have a moral support without the need to gamble. With those bets that you'll put on those matches, there's a bigger chance that you might even lose and there can be some twist and turn arounds that you're not expecting to come.
329  Economy / Marketplace / Re: need flash btc for legal work on: February 01, 2024, 12:11:58 PM
OP is like, "Hey, we need this flash btc and contact us to telegram so that I will disclose the details there but not here".

Also, "I've got a brand new account and whoever goes first is the one whom I will trust but that's already the pay".

We're not born yesterday and whoever goes into this likely scam will regret his actions. Understanding the term flash btc is likely you'll give him your btc in a flashily way and its gone.

I just illustrate my intention in other comments if you can provide me with flashes just let us talk
Nope, I can't provide that.

As you're saying that you are asking that on a freelancing website seems to be sketchy and it's the same here. And that's why most of us here think that it's likely that it's not real and a potential scam.

If you've found people to continue the offer on a telegram transaction, it's either you or the other guy are likely to get scammed.

It's easy to change the details there and no one's safe there. Whilst using an escrow here, they're reputable and going to make the transactions safe and verified.
But still, you can't control everyone by thinking about sketchy offers like this.

331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: January 31, 2024, 10:06:17 PM
That is true every time when ever we do gambling we always have to keep one things in our head and mind that gambling is all about luck it fully depend on luck whether you will won or whether you will face losses. So if we lose the gamble then we should take it easy, And we have to agree with that losing are also the part of gambling so before doing gambling we have to set our mind on that way.
Yeah, take it easy when we gamble and when we lose too. That's one hard thing to absorb when we're gambling and if the amount is higher. It is making us hard to accept that fact when we're losing because that feeling sucks.

IMHO, blaming has been a culture for most when they are disappointed wants to find no fault to themselves. If someone has that attitude then he/she has to change for the better.

Learn to accept the losses and never blame the casino or anyone that you've been losing money because before you gamble, they didn't even pursue you and it's a personal decision to bet.
332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always Make use of notepad app before posting on: January 31, 2024, 12:04:24 PM
Most of us here are not English native speakers and that's fine. If someone is struggling to post in English language, there's always the local board of your country where you can discuss and practice.

I agree to the folks that have said that preview button is enough or even without the need to preview it, just read and review your post before pressing that 'post' button.

I know that with these tools will make you look good but use them as a guide until you think that you can stand alone without them.

But it's not an issue whether you use them or not. Whatever makes you feel good and free, follow those tips.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bullish 2024 ! on: January 31, 2024, 06:53:17 AM
I mean, does the emergence of many new projects like this indicate that bullish is getting closer? What do you think ?
Probably. Because if these launched are launched during the bear market, I don't think that they will ever be good projects that will reach the success that they have during the launching that they've scheduled.

It's a sign that we're nearly approaching to the bull run and look at most of the projects nowadays that are launching, it's either they have good luck of making a good launch with their airdrops and followed by having a huge cap after wards.

But then, the true test for them will come if the bull run is done if they're going to stay on this market or they'd be the same and stable.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2024, 03:49:05 PM
Yes, that's basically why Bitcoin was made and that's to be used as an alternative currency and payment method for fiat.

You're one of the contributors of Bitcoin economy if you're spending it for goods or anything that you're going to pay for it. I am not saying that spend all of it for paying Bitcoin but you have to save for yourself as well.

You can use it with both things, for spending and holding. And don't feel bad whenever there will be some chance that you'll get to spend it.
335  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy ideas on: January 30, 2024, 12:31:32 PM
So, it's all about exchanging of ideas and helping one another with what we know. As usual, there are things that we know and the other members don't.

While some information and knowledge that other members knew, we don't. With that, it's the typical exchange of information and giving ideas to each other.

This is the forum is all about and if you have something to share whether they're news, knowledge, tricks(legal), life hacks and anything that's helpful with our daily lives living with Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies, you're free to do so as long as they're posted on the right section.
336  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈Learn How To Arbitrage and make thousands a month🏈 on: January 30, 2024, 04:06:25 AM
It sounds easy and by the books it's possible but if I'm going to do the actuality, I'm expecting that there will be some mishaps and it won't really be 3%-5% having that thousand of bankroll everyday.

As for you Tim, it's best to prove it to us and like giving some stats and updates if that's not bothering you on a daily basis or even weekly. That's going to make it interesting.

I know that arbitrage still works but proving that to myself makes me wanna go off from it.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are every activities/competitions with stake known to be gambling? on: January 29, 2024, 06:53:06 PM
As long as stakes are there then it is gambling. If there are no bets involved, you wouldn't call it a gamble but when using this term and defining your decision like it is all what you've got and you have taken a risk, then it is a gamble.

So, the common use of it is when we're placing bets to any sporting activities and in return, we've got a potential to win and of course, losing is there too.

Come to think of it when you do not put any bet and just play sports, there's no gambling activity involved and it is not the same.
338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a crypto investor, the less app you install the better. on: January 29, 2024, 10:25:11 AM
I second it's the same for the desktop users that are into crypto. The risk is on those folks that are mostly getting into airdrops and joining those tests and requirements that they need to fulfill through downloading certain apps from those projects.

Before downloading, always verify the source of that app. Because if might look genuine and official but with a few jumbled characters on its name, you might not notice it quickly when you're not meticulous on it.

If you are not the type that downloads a lot of things, you have nothing to worry about.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready for the Bitcoin bull market? What's your plan? Some ideas for you on: January 29, 2024, 06:36:29 AM
Good recommendations, I think it's best to DCA out late 2024 or early 2025 whenever the time may be,
Don't wait for the market to get up before you'd DCA. The best time to DCA is today and when you've got money, I think by that time when the halving is done we'll see it quite hard for some price drops.

But since we're not yet on the halving, there's still a possibility that we'd see it go down a bit. Maybe going back to $38k and quite lower than that. If you think that it's best for the last 2024 before the actual bull run for which likely on 2nd-3rd quarter of 2025, we will see.

and then when the cycle hits a bear I will most definitely be buying back.
Mostly this is the best strategy but we don't know how many will just spend all of the profits for the things they need and won't be buying back.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hey Gamblers, Here's Some Questions for you. Would Love your Responses on them on: January 28, 2024, 11:26:46 PM
4.What do you mean by that? But in my understanding, they've got reminders at most times that we should gamble moderately and they've got feature about being self exclusion.
Some of the corporate social responsibilities that may be expected from these online casinos may include;
  • That they ensure that their online platform is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
  • That they work together with other online casinos to establish and promote industry-wide CSR standards
  • That they ensure that they avoid any advertising and marketing practices that may mislead the public.
  • That they ensure that they adhere to strict AML policies to prevent illegal financial activities within their platform
  • That they protect their clients by implementing robust security measures to protect user data and financial transactions.
  • That they engage with local communities through sponsorships, events, and initiatives that benefit the community.
  • That they adopt eco-friendly practices, some of which are energy consumption reduction through the use of renewable energy sources, and strategies to  reduce waste.
  • That they partner with and support local charities or NGOs.
Do you have some reference for these responsibilities?

So, they are a lot of it and it's not just a few responsibilities that I know and when you've said corporate social responsibility, it means that they're a bunch of it.

And this is basically like also giving back to their customers and anyone that they can as they operate with their business.
