Any issues with the bot? It's being a bit hit and miss, Sometimes it says signature deleted, sometimes it shows me the correct info...

Maybe Mayweather will understand everything is not -fiat- money. Hahaha. A guy like this will either despise Bitcoin, or be like 50 Cent saying "all money is money"

I'm also curious about the outcome on this. I see OP doesn't have negative trust anymore, so this bug was most likely real and important.

There is a bit torrent with the blockchain if I rememeber right. There is also someone in the market place selling USB drives with the blockchain pre loaded on. That is a great idea, it is not smart to download all those 30 gigabyte everything you reinstall your computer. Better to have the chain on a USB stick. Peace.
The torrent is useless now with Core 0.10 And you don't have re-download the blockchain everytime you format your computer. Simply don't delete the blockchain folder... Put it in your storage partition, and just point Bitcoin Core there Why is that? Is the torrent not compatible? What part of the Bitcoin-core installation folder to you need to back up when reinstaling? Is there a part of it that is the block chain, or can you just save it all, and put it back on the drive after you have reinstalled? Thanks The torrent is compatible... But with 0.10 you have no advantage in using it As for the blockchain, you have the datadir option as replied. The default dir is on %appdata% in Windows and .bitcoin in Linux. I always have it in a separate partition that's never formatted.

The same impact the Bitcoin Bowl had? What impact did it had? Exactly: what impact did it had? Have you noticed any impact in the Bitcoin community/features/price whatever after the bowl?

Same crap all over again. Media makes it look like Bitcoin is the news here. I don't really see them advertising these kinds of stings when fiat is used. Looks like Bitcoin is the new voodoo doll/smashing puppet

I need to sign a message from an address created on breadwallet. Seems like neither MultiBit nor Electrum accept seeds from breadwallet... I though all of these clients accepted the same BIP 32 seeds? What do you recommend for this? What client should I use to restore the breadwallet seed and sign my message?
I believe hive is using the same bip32 default wallet structure. We don't recommend typing your recovery phrase into other wallets or devices though. Each new device and wallet increases your exposure to malware and security flaws. I know it risks my privacy, but I accept the risk I'll probably just create another seed afterwards. breadwallet is compatible with Hive (mobile and web, not Hive for OS X), but that doesn't help much since Hive can't sign messages. breadwallet will be compatible with MutliBit HD once MultiBit HD Beta 8 is released (or if you want to compile it yourself), but it is not seed-compatible with Beta 7 due to this bug. Edited to add: those are the only wallets I know of that are compatible with breadwallet. Electrum 2.x is definitely not seed-compatible with breadwallet (Electrum 2.x has chosen to not use BIP-39). In general, compatibility between deterministic wallets is a complex issue. There's a compatibility table available here if you'd like more info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1000544.0Thank you for your reply and your link. I'll try to compile Multibit. I'll report here if I can. If I can't I'll just wait for the next beta

Same old story. If you can't beat them, join them. They are seeing amazing tech growing in front of their eyes, and while we use it against , them want to find ways to use it in favor of them... Good luck

I will be considering buying avatars. I wonder what the 'competition' does.
You should definitely consider it, that or the personal message under the avatar

I don't really think any altcoin is beneficial to Bitcoin adoption. Bitcoin is the door to other altcoins, tops, never the opposite I think. Even if you start fiddling with an altcoin before Bitcoin, it's because you've heard of Bitcoin first.

if i run a full node how can i know or see that it is being used instead of staying active for no reason?
If you have more than 8 connection, you know you are serving as a node. Also, there a list of reachable nodes here: https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/ You might end up finding yourself there. If you do, you are a good node

This was posted by Kim Dotcom on his twitter I don't think this would be a cool way to spread the word... People don't usually like to get bent fiat notes, I imagine what would it be if it had something marked... people wouldn't like to pay with one of those. Maybe something less intrusive would work Beat me to it. Kim Dot Twat wants to ruin Bitcoin now. https://twitter.com/KimDotcom/status/582050310132117504Ruin? Why are people saying he will ruin anything? I think it's illegal to write on cash, but I don't think a merchant will not accept that buck.
It's not illegal I kinda like it. To me it seems like effective guerrilla marketing or something Banksy would do.
Yep, makes people remember Banksy, definitely... And that one time he forged a million pounds and ended up not distributing them because they were too real, lol
