2281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use your bitcoins to buy gas...get 25% discount on: August 20, 2015, 12:43:31 PM
Really wish I could use this! Only thing better would be paying directly with bitcoin... Unfortunately Shell seems to have disappeared from my country.
2282  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk.xyz is that a phishing domain? on: August 19, 2015, 02:14:25 PM
Yes, it's probably phishing or just advertising... Links there lead to nowhere.
2283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The numbers: Bitcoin Xt or Bitcoin Core on: August 19, 2015, 02:09:49 PM
The question here is more "which BIP do you support?". What if a BIP proposing bigger blocks gets accepted and included in Core? It wouldn't make sense to support XT (unless you like/use the other changes it has, but that's a different story)
2284  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Old Bitcoin/LTC/DOGE wallets on: August 19, 2015, 11:26:49 AM
pm'ed

Got your pm, sorry Hive wallet doesn't work. Sad

But it's seed and private keys do. You can probably buy the seed, import it in multibit and export the keys you need.
2285  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Brand new and sealed iPhone 6. on: August 19, 2015, 10:58:30 AM
Color and capacity? Any particular reason for selling? Does it come with warranty/purchase receipt?

Price seems too good to be true, despite your feedback.

16GB iphone 6. What color do you need?

Space Gray. I'd more easily consider 64GB. Is the purchase receipt from the Apple Store?

No receipt.

All right. If you do have a 6 64GB Space Gray with a receipt be sure to send me a PM as I might be interested.
2286  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory i18n (internationalisation) on: August 19, 2015, 10:55:41 AM
Page isn't there anymore. If needed I'd also like to contribute to internationalization.
2287  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-08-19] Blockchain.info will celebrate its 4th birthday with 4 million wall on: August 19, 2015, 10:52:03 AM
Half of them are probably empty/unused wallets Cheesy But nice milestone nevertheless
2288  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is dumped so hard? on: August 19, 2015, 10:15:47 AM
Bitcoin isn't dumping hard, lol. And it's definitely not because of a fork that's coming in almost half a year... It's just the usual suspects messing with small traders to squeeze some coins of of them.
2289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinXT, Fork, Miners... This is how they look like from here on: August 19, 2015, 10:13:18 AM
I don't think you're close... Miners will eventually converge to the same chain Smiley
2290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the lightning network solve the block size problem? on: August 19, 2015, 10:10:45 AM
Lightning Network is a great idea. But the payment still has to go through the blockchain. To me it seems like a toll gate. The cars will still end up on the main road, so congestion is guaranteed.
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIG transactions with Multi-Sig Addresses on: August 18, 2015, 10:03:02 PM
Maybe an online wallet moving funds? Some organisation storing funds securely? Not sure...

Also, can block winners be multisig addresses? I'm not sure they can.
2292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No less than 250 Bitcoin XT nodes are virtual servers, likely free trials on: August 18, 2015, 10:00:51 PM
I don't see any issues with that... I've configured nodes both on VPS and on a server of my own. It depends on what's cheaper and on what you feel comfortable with. I'd be more worried with fake nodes than with nodes running on VPS's
2293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this cracked me up. bitcoin xt logo on: August 18, 2015, 09:58:27 PM
LOL, this one was nice, good try Tongue
2294  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk.org SUPPORT PORN ? on: August 18, 2015, 09:57:27 PM
Nobody "supports porn", but I don't think it's actively censored. The thread has a NSFW tag, so I see no issues about it...
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XT: It's On! First block was mined by an XT miner on: August 18, 2015, 08:31:05 PM
It would be cool to keep this post updated on the succesive amount of blocks mined, to get an idea of where it is going.

There's already such thread
2296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If BitcoinXT is implemented how easy would it be for devs to change more things? on: August 18, 2015, 08:08:22 PM
It will be as easy as it is now.

I think a blacklist can be implemented in an individual base... Some miners (can) specifically blacklist transactions without using a particular client.
2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big block support observer on: August 18, 2015, 07:59:25 PM
And we have the first block mined with a client with big block support!

Block 370434 by Slush
2298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XT: It's On! First block was mined by an XT miner on: August 18, 2015, 07:57:31 PM
Good news! Let's see how does this unfold.
2299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is going to sky rocket. 1000 BTC ATM's going to greece! on: August 18, 2015, 07:55:51 PM
This already has a thread on this subforum
2300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinWallet says Bitcoin stress test in September will create 30-day backlog on: August 18, 2015, 06:25:13 PM
and if everyone automatically starts paying higher fees then CoinWallet might have to spend a considerable sum.

Now this would be nice Grin
