3262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Rent mining rig on: March 14, 2013, 07:13:51 PM
Hi again,

Ok, I saw the snapshot. Your rig is around 3MHs, so the total payment will be 600€ / 777.3$. And each of the 5 payments will be 600€/5 = 120€/155.6$. But that is if you are really achieving 3MHs in the litecoin pool (real case) scenario. So i suggest to pm me, give me your paypal account that I'll send the monye to,  and I will give you my username and pass in the pool-x.eu so that we can see the real hashrate and begin!!! Smiley

You can also do some tests on your own if you want, to check with what parameters you'll get the max hashrate with cgminer or reaper.

Hi again,

You suddently disappeared. Is everything ok? I thought we were close to start the business..

With the rate of LTC going up, I'll stick with mining for myself for now. This is what makes things interesting for me. I am also in the process of adding a few more GPUs to the mix. Maybe later if you're still looking we can talk further.
3263  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinabul.com/ ---NEGATIVE FEEDBACK--- on: March 14, 2013, 12:33:52 AM
It's at the top right under currencies. You can select USD or BTC. The TOS is also vague but does mention $100 not BTC.
I guess this sort of question should have been asked before ordering....ambiguity at its finest and it does seem a bit shady.

Fake reply 1. These forum rules are silly. I have to make 5 posts and browse these forums for 4+ hours before I can actually post what I came here for. I certainly hope you don't punish people for making fake posts, I mean, that would be ironic, considering you're punishing people just because they want to use your forums.

3267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying 1.5 bitcoins on: March 13, 2013, 04:23:54 PM
I already used that garbage website. The fees are way too much and you have to wait 48 hours before they send you the bitcoins.

Sometimes you have to start somewhere. Search the board, there are a few that will sell small quantities of coin for PP.
Good luck to you.
3268  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinabul.com/ ---NEGATIVE FEEDBACK--- on: March 13, 2013, 03:34:57 PM
If coinabul immediately converted your coins to fiat ($/EUR/whatever) upon receipt of the order, they would send back newly priced coins on refund.

And what's the excuse for accepting orders from countries they don't ship to?

None unless it's a software issue and that should have been fixed long ago and still no excuse.
3269  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinabul.com/ ---NEGATIVE FEEDBACK--- on: March 13, 2013, 02:01:34 PM
Was the silver sold in USD( fiat wound be a better word) but let you pay with BTC? If so and BTC rose or silver dropped in price you still received the USD(fiat) equivalent, correct?
Waiting time sucks but sometimes that just how it is. Bad customer support is inexcusable though.

Edited to include "fiat"

How can I proove that I am legit? what if the agreement starts after 1 minute that I've seen the Hashrates in the pool?

and after that minute you stop ..

do u suggest something else?

Interesting. I can foresee some issues that may crop up. What rate are you proposing? PP the only way you will pay? If the hash rate fluctuates (and it does/will) will you panic and refuse payment?
Spell out some ground rules and see where it goes.

I would prefer PayPal because I do not have any BTC, only LTC. I am interested in any rate above 2GHs.. the more the better.
It depends on the price that you'll ask for your rig & electricity. I will not refuse payment once it's agreed, no matter the difficulty raise (which already
goes crazy) or the LTC price. But you cannot change the price during the renting time neither. Also, we could break the total price in even more parts, that way you will be more sure that I am not a thief.

If I were interested then I would want to be paid in BTC/LTC. That would be much better than PP.
Ok, so lay out a rough contract including your offer of rent and some ground rules, most things being negotiable. You do realize your offer would have to be tempting enough or the miner would just mine for themselves?

3273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is my Radeon 7950 temperature so high? on: March 12, 2013, 01:10:53 AM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150590

That's the one I have

I just put it on my old PC the way I would with a gaming GPU

I set it to 1025 MHz and 1450mhz clock because that's what github told me to

Should I install some kind of cooler? I also noticed that it only has one fan on it and most 7950's have two. I feel like that might be part of the issue, so I might return it and get a sapphire

Drop the Mem speed considerably, it won't live long at those temps. All my GPU's are hotter mining LTC than BTC but none are near your temps.
3274  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: POLL: Is TradeFortress a scammer? on: March 11, 2013, 07:57:21 PM
This thread is totally useless.

You'd think that by now he could have learned to code if he used the time to read instead of bitch.

I would have to agree. I would love to see this resolved but it doesn't look hopeful.
3275  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: POLL: Is TradeFortress a scammer? on: March 11, 2013, 07:16:44 PM
This poll is for sublime's Scammer list - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=149147.0;all
My summary/viewpoint :
1) I had a horrible experience trying to get my site coded by TF.
2) He intentionally scammed me out of 27 BTC.
3) He knew he did not have the level of skill or experience required to sell web-programming services for a commercial bitcoin accounts based website.
4) He misrepresented his experience by failing to correct my mistaken belief that he coded a bitcoin accepting website in the past, specifically https://bitzino.com/ the website in his forum sig. This obviates any claim of "buyer beware" for his services.
5) He attempted to do what was necessary to present the appearance of successfully coding my site, but as the code/final site provided reveals, this was still a non-operable site that did not forward bitcoins correctly and was written so poorly and has so many bugs and non-usable aspects it is unsuitable to be sold as commercial website design. The only publicly released version of his final product (as of now) is available here:
http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/398233/Moneypak-zip.html
direct link - http://94.75.216.85/en/file/398233/Moneypak-zip.html
I have stopped hosting it since I don't want customers to associate this non-functional and unusable site with my domain. I am instead paying for a complete rewrite of the site.
6) TF has not released a functional version of the website I paid 27 BTC to be completed.
7) TF agreed to pay arbitration, but never filed the case and instead slandered me in emails to the judge.me arbitration service and has not paid the fee for the case I filed at judge.me.
Cool I've agreed to send any funds recovered from TF to charity.
9) TF Scam thread with lengthy details here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126588.0;all
10) TF Review thread with more details of our dispute here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=146319.0
11) TF solicited more work from others, using the non-functional/unfinished web-development he did for me, but few others were actually scammed and one user reports a good experience, however their site is apparently non-functional as of this post (see above threads).
12) Careful review of the evidence in the linked threads will prove TF is a scammer and not a proficient web-developer.

This thread is totally useless.
3276  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Trade Fortress on: March 11, 2013, 07:16:14 PM
Back on topic. I think I've mentioned this before, but I believe it still applies: it's not a scam even if your claim is true. What happened to you is that you paid TF for a website and he delivered a site that you're not happy with and that you claim was poorly designed. It's a case of buyer beware to me. You're well within your rights to give him a negative review if you're unhappy with his work (which you've already done), but claiming that he stole your money doesn't fit the situation.
If you had paid TF to design a website and he ran off with your money, then you'd have a good claim to label him a scammer.
I see your point, TF elaborate methods of covering his tracks after taking the 27 BTC seems to have insulated him pretty well from accountability in this forum.
I guess if TF ever successfully finishes the job I paid him for, then your view would have more grounding, but as of now, the last work I received from him was non-functional as I described in the other thread (with links to the web-code available above for inspection).

You are a broken record.

1. You refused to let TF "finish" any work. Another has looked at the code and disputed some of your claims.
2. You used bad judgement by paying the total cost upfront
3. You keep on and on and on about how you were scammed. You were not. You didn't like the product so you hired another for less money. What were the terms of the contract? Post said terms.
4. Carlos L claims no code was changed, you stated it was. Which is it?
5. You have made it nearly impossible to get a judgement by interfering in the arbitration process. Why again did you do this? On purpose?
6. Keep repeating 1-5 until everyone's eyes bleed.

My bank don't allow transfer money to Mt.Gox. If allow then I invest my own money.

There are other places to buy BTC.
3278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC loan on: March 11, 2013, 02:03:08 PM
Every day I lookink for best invest in loans, I look for people who have good reputation.

So, why don't you put your own money behind your investments? If you are successful you won't need a loan to buy loans to sell to pay off a loan.
3279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC loan on: March 11, 2013, 01:52:32 PM
I use it to build reputation on BTCJam. I invest on other people loans.

Collateral? What happens if you make a bad investment? The loan stops existing?
3280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC loan on: March 11, 2013, 01:35:48 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm new in BTC and I need loan to build reputation on BTCjam. If someone can give me this loan the https://btcjam.com/listings/2394 .
