Miami do have young guys and I think Iguodala will suit them well.
Giving them a veteran perspective and everything he knew about defense.
Iguodala's vast experience and reliable defense (but yet to be seen this season) definitely made the Heat trade one of their young guys and that $30M two-year deal. Surely he can be helpful with this young team, I'm just not sure how he and Jimmy will blend together. Maybe I'm just overthinking here.

I still cannot believe how Iggy changed from a high flying offensive guy to a defensive one.
He is definitely a valuable piece for GSW back then.
Not everyone can transition like Iggy. I guess the presence of both Curry and Thompson made it easier for him to just focus on defense while providing offense when needed.

More details on the Andre Drummond trade:

The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired center Andre Drummond from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for guard Brandon Knight, forward/center John Henson and the less favorable of Cleveland and Golden State’s 2023 second-round draft picks

Poor guy had some tweets and seems heartbroken  Cry
It's all business in the NBA

~
I think you are, Iguodala is a good team player, he played with the Warriors and had success even not being a starter and we know Heat played the same style, they trust each other and they gave each other a chance, so their minutes are well manage.
There's no doubt that Iggy is a good team player. It's Jimmy that I'm concerned about for some reason.

I reckon that Conor should make him interested. Fight Justin Gaethje on lightweight or welterweight and then fight Jorge Masvidal on welterweight. A victory on Jorge would light his star brighter and cause Khabib to be very jealous and fight hehehhe.
That makes sense. He thinks he can always beat Conor no matter how many times they fight and that's probably why he said "... to beat up that idiot again" in a press conference. A win over the BMF holder would send everyone nuts and would want to fight Conor again. I'm not sure about the being jealous part though, Khabib doesn't seem to concerned about the spotlight unlike some other guys (Conor, Diaz, Gaethje and other loud-mouthed fighters).

Are there other websites that propose the same?
There are plenty actually. eToro has already been mentioned and there are at least four more who have been around for quite some time according to this article

Take your time to read the above article as it gives you pros and cons of each platform.

Here's a more detailed article if you want more.

I don't trade that often and I don't feel the need to subscribe to these platforms. Maybe they are created to help amateur traders like you and me but they also come at cost. Perhaps it's better to use the money to buy some trading books instead of using it to pay for subscription fees.

Indeed, McGregor must climb from bottom to top before facing the camp once again. Well, that's good for him anyway to keep his fire burning Cheesy. The feeling of being an underdog is the best fuel for him to grind more (and I hope not only on striking but now mainly on ground lol). I also don't think beating Cowboy is enough for him to get a title shot.~
He said so himself that he isn't there yet during his octagon interview after he KO'd Cowboy. That statement alone suggests that he is extremely motivated to get back into the top spot. Aside from the record of knocking out guys in three different divisions, I think he is also trying to be a three division champion. All he needs is one or two more fights for WW title contention.

~
Khabib might not be interested in the rematch as he defeated Conor without a shadow of doubt but i am expecting them to rematch next year or the year end card.
Khabib isn't interested but his father is. The old man means business and even talks about getting Mayweather.

Being a champion is paying up.  Grin
Unlike veterans which are just given $5m per year. With him it takes a lot of money because of the ring.
~
It sure does. Iguodala's manager/agent knows how to leverage his client's past achievements. He is also well rested now and his championship experience could help his new team come playoff time but I still think the Miami Heat is taking a huge gamble also here IMO. But hey, who knows if they can be able to knock off one of the East's favorites (Celtics, Bucks, 76ers, Toronto).

3388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Regularization in Different Countries on: February 06, 2020, 04:14:11 AM
That map from Wikipedia is somewhat misleading. Our country is colored green and from what dothebeats described
Quote
the green-colored countries are the countries in which you can openly use bitcoin without the fear of being persecuted or deported.
It's openly being used here because the government authorities doesn't apprehend anyone who uses bitcoin to pay for goods/services. In reality, it's not actually recognized as a legal tender. What's legal/regulated though are Virtual Currency exchanges. Through these platforms, you can freely exchange virtual currencies such as Bitcoin to fiat and vice versa.

~ Even Running Exchanges are Banning The people and not Returning Funds.
We've seen plenty of cases where funds were locked by exchanges because "user violated TOS" or "flagged for suspected blah blah blah" but funds were usually released once the user complied with KYC verification or some other proofs.
3389  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BitSpark, Pioneer of HK-PH Remittance via Bitcoin Closes Down on: February 06, 2020, 03:10:55 AM
The HK protest and the nCov were just salt to the company's wound. Reading the blog, it was clear that they were already having difficulty internally

Quote
Unfortunately due to internal restructuring that hasn't worked out, and a decision taken by shareholders internally, we have made the decision to close our doors. While the HK protests and now virus epidemic haven't affected us much, it hasn't helped either.

When a company tries to restructure, it most likely means something isn't right. Sa tingin ko the chances of them recovering, whether or not may protesta or epidemya, is slim.

On Houston Rockets small line up (some dubs it as "dead line up"), send your prayers to PJ Tucker  Grin

In another transfer news, Miami Heat has acquired Andre Iguodala from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Justise Winslow.
The guy has signed a 2 year, $30 million extension. He's been asking for this and causing some unrest in the Grizzlies young core. I hope he's happy now as he prepares for his retirement.

These fake/phishing sites just keep popping out of nowhere don't they? Can anyone link me to a comprehensive list of fake Trezor wallet or other hardware wallet websites known to date? If there is none yet, I think there should be one. I would like to use it also and update a topic I made in our local board about crypto wallets.

I spoke against a service provider. He gave me feedback. I'm surprised by his feedback! Not only me. He gives feedback to those who have said against him. I think we should do something against this type of service providers. I think he should be tagged.
I'm not exactly sure about tagging. Other than the claim that he is a telegram developer, there is no concrete proof yet that what he is offering is a scam service. Telegram has tagged some accounts before so perhaps we can also report this @daviddeav account to @notoscam and see what happens. I just did.
3394  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PH Lending History/Summary (as of Feb. 5, 2020) on: February 05, 2020, 08:36:44 AM
To borrowers, lenders, and other readers/followers of this thread:

You may notice na magkaiba ang mga remaining balance na kalagay dun sa main lending thread at yung nakalagay dito everytime may partial payment kagaya ng case ni finaleshot at Darker. That is because I have applied all of the partial payment to the principal balance at hindi ko na hiniwalay pa yung para sana sa interest payment. This is to keep things simple. Kung magbibigay man ng payment breakdown ang lender/borrower, I will apply the said allocation and adjust the table if need be.
3395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 05, 2020, 08:00:49 AM
For some NBA transfer/swap deals, there are reports that the Timberwolves, Hawks, Rockets and Nuggets have reached a four-team deal.

Here's how it looks according to this article

Quote
The Wolves are said to be shipping Robert Covington, Jordan Bell and a 2nd-round pick to Houston; with Clint Capela and Nene on to Atlanta; Keita Bates-Diop, Shabazz Napier, Noah Vonleh, Gerald Green and a Houston 1st-round pick to Denver; as well as Malik Beasley, Juancho Hernangomez, Jarred Vanderbilt, Evan Turner and a 1st-round pick (Atlanta via Brooklyn) heading to Minnesota.

What do you guys think of this four-team deal?

It looks like Rockets is really going for a small ball this time but I don't know how that will work for them with Harden on the ball most of the time. The clear winner for me is Atlanta for getting some reliable bigs but it's probably too late for them this season. Denver has a strong squad already and might have added more depth that will probably help them during playoffs.

People from third world countries are probably easier to scam, but unfortunately, greediness and gullibility is universal.
Yeah, spot on.

On the bright side though, the joint effort by the authorities to bring down an OCG is highly commendable.
*meanwhile the Philippines..*
It will take a lot of investigation of the investigation of the investigation of the scam case.  Will take eons to apprehend those criminals.
To be fair, it took them time also to build a good case against the OCG.

I get both your points though. We've gotten used to news of our local authorities being slow with all talks/interviews but little action. I cannot say with 100% certainty but I think our forces have gotten better due to the foul-mouthed leader (I guess you know what I mean) Grin Case in point: KAPA.

JJ says THIAGO SANTOS was 2-3x the man DR is- DR might be in trouble
JJ is extremely motivated for this fight alright but I want to give credit to DR for getting getting him riled up like that. I have never seen JJ so aggressive in pre-fight interviews and face offs since DC. It's not easy to play mind games against someone like JJ but I think DR has gotten into his head.

Hearing JJ talks about being disrespectful makes me laugh. Someone who has gamed the sport using substance is disrespectful.

1. Yes, I've been hired on both platforms at smooth naman yung payment kasi automatic ng pasok sa account mo after ma-verify ni employer.

Latium - https://latiumsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034067471-What-if-I-am-Not-Paid-for-a-Completed-Project-
Quote
If you are not paid for a project you feel you have completed you have the ability to discuss the issue with the Employer through the chat option provided by Latium.

Arbitration and Mediation options will be available on Latium in the near future.

When bidding and working on projects, please be aware of the Employer payment rate you will see next to their avatar. If an Employer's payment rate is low, they are more likely to not pay.

CryptoMarketAds - I can't find info yet but sent a question to their support. I'll update once I get an answer.

Never knew that Latium is already an established freelancing platform now noong una nakikita ko lang ito sa mga signatures at sa Announcement and Bounty section so far talagang lumago sila. ~
No problem. Dati, native token lang ang payment nila pero ngayon nakapag-expand na to major cryptocurrencies which is great.

I plan on updating this thread kapag may mga bago pa akong nakita.
Sa feedback naman, you can read my reply kay jakelyson at yung comment ni rhomelmabini
3399  Local / Pamilihan / Crypto and the Gig Economy (Pang-extra income) on: February 04, 2020, 12:20:38 PM
Seeing how some are interested in earning extra income from platforms other than bitcointalk, naisipan ko lang din i-post ang mga platforms na alam kong pwede pagkakitaan.

  • Gig Workers - independent contractors, online platform workers, contract firm workers, on-call workers and temporary workers. Gig workers enter into formal agreements with on-demand companies, for example Uber, TaskRabbit, to provide services to the company's clients. source

......more platforms to come
