2501  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What's up with Coinomi fees? on: September 26, 2020, 03:10:52 PM
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I tried again a few hours later and the order was correct that time ("low" was the lowest fee etc.). Other than resynchronize, I haven't done anything else. I'll try your suggestions @BitMaxz if I encounter the same issue.

~
Are you sure are you making those simulations with the same address type and same amounts?

It is possible that you the total value transacted (and then changing the number of inputs). This can have a great impact over total fees. Actually, number of inputs is the greater variable that controls total fees.
Address type and amount should be the same. Everything was all set and all that's left to do was choose the transaction fee. All I did was switch tabs from low to high priority.

I would have funded this loan but I can only send you funds from Binance, which charges 0.0004BTC for withdrawal fee. Too costly! I hope somebody would take this. If there is none and you urgently need the money, please tell me. Thank you very much!
I can cover this pero hintayin ko muna confirmation mo (@Maslate) dahil may nauna ng offer.

Ikaw nalang mag fund Bttzed03, sorry Darker45, masyadong malaki yung fee ng Binance.

Thanks to both of you.

@Luckb.it Mods it seems as usual gamblers are waiting in the background, and they’ll jump in the action once there’s less time left, hence in my personal opinion this contest should really spice up in the last few days.

Maybe you are right because once the 100btc gets wagered the users will have another week to get points, so, in that week everything could change, i have the feeling that some whales are waiting for that week to come and fight for the prize.

Anything can happen in this crazy gambling world Wink
Although I have zero chance of breaking into to the ten, I still feel like the added one week for the competition is a bit unfair to the early active participants but that's just me. It will be entertaining to watch how the leader board will change in the final week though.
2504  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My newbie tanong on: September 25, 2020, 03:30:32 PM

2506  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Accidentally send erc20 to kraken eth address on: September 25, 2020, 02:23:19 PM
Will it not affect transactions of ethereum and tokens on their platform if they do this?
It should not, the public key should always receive the token/coin. Maybe at that time they will disable all the withdrawal is my best guess.
Yeah, withdrawal will most likely be suspended.

In his TOS is clearly emphasized, "No, you cannot deposit ERC-20 tokens to your ETH deposit addresses on your Kraken account." https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048128112
therefore they have no obligation to do anything here. Also, they can't do anything with these tokens because that would be some kind of theft.
~
if they wanted to spend time on such things, they would not set such a deposit condition.
I don't know. Maybe what Tether did when they helped refund $1 Million USDT wrongly sent to a DeFi contract address and Binance refunding BNB that will be sent to BSC thru the BNB Pioneer Program will change how these centralized coins and exchanges handle these things in the future. Perhaps OP just needs to push more for his DAI to be returned.

2508  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Accidentally send erc20 to kraken eth address on: September 25, 2020, 06:22:53 AM
It's a risky job for them. To recover this amount they have few hundred thousands dollar worth of coins will be at stake. Depending on their setting it could be very complicated because I am sure in their cold wallet not one person is holding the keys. But again for a person, $10k is a very good amount of money. And considering this, I hope Kraken will take the risk and help the user to recover his fund.

There are exchanges that will recover funds, maybe not necessarily straight away or for free, but recover they will. A bigger exchange should have the resources to account for occasional asset recoveries, and if they don't - they could charge the user for their mistakes, just not 100% Tongue
Will it not affect transactions of ethereum and tokens on their platform if they do this? I mean suspending deposit/withdrawal. I'm comparing it to what they usually do whenever they have scheduled/sudden maintenance in cases like token developer makes some changes.

I agree that they should charge fees for fund recoveries.

2510  Bitcoin / Wallet software / What's up with Coinomi fees? on: September 25, 2020, 04:31:33 AM
I was trying to compare recommended fees set by Coinomi and I noticed something odd.

Low: 0.00016
Medium: 0.000069
High: 0.00021

As you can see, "low fee" is higher than the "medium fee".  I even resynchronized but the result is the same. Is it just me or is that a bug? I tried to check for updates on google play but it appears I have the latest version (v1.16.5).

I haven't noticed it until now because I always customized the fees when sending.

Kung high fee ang gagamitin i'll include it sa repayment. Tumatanggap din ako ng altcoins except sa XRP.
Based on personal principle ba yang anti-XRP  Grin

Anyway, I can take also the loan at 10-15 sats fee/b which is around .00003 - .00005. Almost the same recommended sa mempool.space sa ngayon.

Hintay na lang din ako confirmation mo.

If Adesanya vs. Costa is hard to read, then how about the Polish Power vs, the Devastator? The co-main event is harder to predict for me. One good hit can end it in seconds of the first round. It would be nice if both of them have the chin to take each others punches. When two fighters with serious KO power collides, it's a treat if they can slug it out for three or more rounds.

Is the notification real time or there is a few seconds/mimutes delay? Does it monitor all liquidity pools on all exchanges?

My telegram is acting crazy at the moment. I can't verify the all features mentioned in the OP.

Whoever made this bot could have thought of a better name. It sounded like a bot that will notify you of all airdrops happening on the ethereum blockhain.
2515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: September 24, 2020, 11:48:46 AM
If I see a slot machine in a gas station and I'm not familiar with licensing and other paper/technical works, I'd most likely think that it's okay to play. With a few change to spare, I might as well take my chances.

These illegal slot machines probably makes money money from thousands of customers who thinks that^ way.
2516  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoWow presents the Most Amazing Bitcoin Casinos! on: September 23, 2020, 05:45:53 PM
does your review site cover casinos that accept cryptocurrency? searching through your website I haven't seen a casino on your website that accept cryptocurrency or recognize any of it.
I saw three. Type "bitcoin" in the search box > Payment providers and you'll arrive at https://www.casinowow.com/payments/bitcoin

@CasinoWow You might want to review your definition of a cryptocurrency.
What is a cryptocurrency?
Cryptocurrency is a virtual currency that is mined online by machines / computers that follow algorithms and code patterns. These codes are then stored in Blockchains and sold to investors.

The value of the currency is determined purely by its popularity, as it is not tied to any resource, mineral, or rate of exchange etc. Bitcoin and the like are administered and traded by way of Bitcoin wallets that work very similarly to e-wallets. The currency is not real money but can be traded for its value in cash on a Bitcoin exchange.

Cryptocurrency is not centralised, like money is by Reserve Banks, and is therefore very volatile.
There are basically two types of cryptocurrencies - a coin and a token.

Coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash and Litecoin are mined on a daily basis and each new coin is added to the circulating supply. Coins like XRP were premined. A coin has its own blockchain. Tokens, on the other hand, runs on top of another blockchain and are not mineable. They are simply minted and distributed via token sale or airdrops.

There are cryptocurrencies that are centralized in nature like XRP. Some even argue that only bitcoin is decentralized.

2517  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Ethereum Wallets on: September 23, 2020, 02:28:31 PM
More Wallets:

1. Crypto.com - Mobile (android, ios)
2. Flare wallet - Mobile (android, ios); Desktop (windows, mac, debian, ubuntu); Web (coming soon)
3. Sparkpoint - Mobile (android)
4. MYKEY Lab - Mobile (android, ios)
5. Nash - Mobile (android, ios)
6. Swipe - Mobile (android, ios)

~ I'd also like to see a comments column with a few words on some wallets, at least.
~ Do small reviews of all wallets did not become, as the theme is not about reviews of wallets. If you need a guide and functionality, the Internet is full of these articles about almost every wallet.
Perhaps another column to indicate a wallet is custodial or non-custodial would be good enough?

Others might want to see if code is open source or not but I don't think many care about that when it comes to ethereum wallets.
2518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright To Face Trial on: September 22, 2020, 12:00:46 PM
Craig Wright Must Face Trial Over Alleged $11B Bitcoin Fortune as Request for Summary Judgment Denied
...
Stick him in jail & throw away the key.

FYI, this is not a criminal trial. It's a lawsuit. There is no jail.

Craig Wright claims (without proof) that he is Satoshi, and that he has a million or so bitcoins (including bitcoins that were proven to not be his). Ira Kleiman claims that his deceased brother was partners with Wright and that his brother's estate owns half of those bitcoins.

Here is my prediction of the outcome: CSW will lose and Kleiman will be awarded half of the bitcoins. CSW will never deliver because he doesn't actually have them, but he will claim that he lost the keys in a boating accident. The lawsuits will go on until CSW loses everything.
Hold on. So in the end, Kleiman still gets nothing even if he wins this lawsuit? If so, I don't know why Kleiman is clinging to the idea that Wright is Satoshi.

IIRC, there was another case that requires him to prove that he is the real Satoshi. Somebody please refresh my memory on that.

2520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 22, 2020, 11:18:43 AM
^  Yup exactly.  But as I think more about it, I could see it going over 2.5.  And it's one of the bouts that you don't really know what's gonna happen just like Whitaker vs Romero.  So as a safer bet, I'll go for the over 2.5 rounds.

Edit:  And Costa has good cardio for a guy his size.
I agree that it's one of the unpredictable fights and that's due to Costa's punching power.

His cardio is only good for three rounds if he contunues with his striking. Rewatch his fight with Romero and you can clearly see he already slowed down in round 2 and looked gassed out in round 3. I dont think that's something you want if you'te going to bet for over 2.5. Adesanya will pick him apart in the later rounds if he survives the early Costa onslaught.

If Costa will mix it up and stick to his ground game, then that's a different story. Based on the videos we've seen so far, that doesn't seem to be the case.
