3381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 01, 2021, 08:06:49 PM
Leeds barely got a win. It was just pure luck that they had one handball at the very last even after 90th minute and with a bit of help from VAR they got that penalty (it was actually a penalty I am not arguing against that). I was expecting so much more from Leeds, they are a great team and they deserve to be a lot higher, no idea why they are not at all.

I suspect it is a bit about players being tired under bielsa which is a common thing with his play style, it keeps the players running 90 minutes so it is hard and after so many years with him, they might have great conditioning but they are now very tired, each season puts another strain on their body. I hope that they get better, they are one of the best teams I like to watch these days, I fell in love with them after the docuseries they had with Russel Crowe voicing it, that was a great series to watch.
3382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get harassed in BSC Chain Transaction on: November 30, 2021, 10:12:04 PM
In today's world kids use the word "harassment" very easily. Back in the day we faced a lot tougher situations and we were fine with it, and today you get your money in an hour and that is harassment, lol. Yeah, it is not nice to get your money late, but is it "harassment"? Who is doing the harassment, the entire blockchain? I am sorry but you probably just paid too little and that is why it took so long, there is nothing unusual about this at all.

The reality is that we just need to wait for it a while sometimes and that's it, especially during times when we have blockchain congestion and we send right around that time so our fee looks okay when we send but a few minutes later it is low. It just happens, just move on, if you are not so sure about BSC and want to move to another network then go ahead and do that, SOL has nearly free and instant transactions, go use that.
3383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a fatal flaw in bitcoin? on: November 30, 2021, 08:25:50 PM
Quantum computers. There is nothing wrong with bitcoin itself or the blockchain, but quantum computing could make it a problem unless it is used for defense and I doubt that it would be. Nobody can tell me that quantum computing could not be done, it will be done one day, maybe tomorrow or maybe 20 years later but it will be done one day. Considering how insanely faster it will become, and how we didn't even have 1gb ram up until 10-15 years ago and now have 32 gb rams, it should be clear to all of us that quantum computing will be in everyone's home and even maybe pockets.

This is the scare, the moment it can be done, that pace and power could be used to crack into any wallet ever, sure it is hard right now and takes thousands of years to even try it, but with that much power it may take seconds to crack into anyone's wallet. And that is the biggest problem in the future.
3384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 30, 2021, 07:27:01 PM
I guess Spurs is finally hit with that "rebuild" button and that is what we are seeing these days. They basically had it when all three stars left and then Kawhi situation happened. We had LMA and Demar for a while so it looked like we were just a mediocre team at best and that is what people imagined it would be like, but then both of them left as well and now we are finally living in the rebuild years. Our players are not great enough to actually matter when it is the most important part, but I believe that we should not be really that much shocked when we keep losing games.

6 wins so far and 12th in west is not good at all, we are at least 4 wins away from play-in position as well and that is not going to change unless something amazing suddenly happens. This is why I believe that we are going to have a much better situation in few years but we definitely need better players for sure, even the peak performance from these players is not good enough for contending at all.
3385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: November 29, 2021, 08:12:54 PM
Unfortunately there aren't many coins with the potential that ETH had, that is just not really that much possible. Unlike bitcoin, ETH didn't started with zero like how everyone imagines. It actually started a bit higher, like a dollar or so for YEARS before it became this great. For a while it was just 1 dollar from 2015 to 2017 or so and in early 2018 during the alt season it suddenly became 1500+ dollars and that is where the success comes from.

I doubt that anything could ever break that success ETH had, sure there are some stuff that came out and became big but the reality is that we are talking about something like a 1500x return in just few months, that is rarely ever true in crypto and rarely ever stays like that and not just a pump/dump situation. This is why I believe that we should not be focusing on anything that is remotely close to this, we are simply not finding them easily, so focus on smaller returns if you could.
3386  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: November 29, 2021, 04:29:11 PM
If you really want to invest and 100% guaranteed to make a profit, then put your money into savings account in your bank. Right now USA has like 0.25% yearly places when inflation is over 5%+ for sure. You may reject the idea but inflation is definitely horrible there right now as well. Which is a proof that savings account doesn't even make you a profit, you are losing money because of inflation, just because the number went up doesn't mean you are now richer, in fact you are poorer in that case.

This means if you are taking some risks and investing in other stuff then I have to say it is definitely a lot more possible that you could get richer as well. Maybe not everyone realizes this, but the reality is that taking that risk equals to finally being over inflation and finally getting richer. This is why "safe" is not the way you want to go.
3387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 27, 2021, 11:41:43 AM
It looks clear to me that Rangnick is a very temporary solution to a permanent problem. They signed a 6 month agreement with a guy who didn't even worked as a manager for a while now, and they are going to get through the season with him until they find someone much better by the end of the season. I get that some people may like him, and dude studied in UK as well as far as I know, he was a manager for a long time as well so he has the experience for it, but became general manager and other positions after a while.

I assume they really want Zidane and Zidane said he will rest this season, so they found a temporary solution until they could speak with Zidane again, or see what happens with PSG and Pochettino deal. If they could at least be in champions league level at the league then they would probably have a great chance to get a good manager.
3388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 27, 2021, 08:44:09 AM
what would be the right strategy of Diversifying Crypto Portfolio...
For crypto portfolio, you may not need to go beyond bitcoin. Some people may suggest to go with ethereum or bnb but I remember these same people were suggesting about litecoin some 3 to 5 years back but as of now litecoin investments are in negative in BTC value.

It would be a better practice for not looking into diversifying within crypto investments but you may extend your portfolio with stocks/bullion/real estate. A truly diversified portfolio must include all types of investments and not just one segment like cryptocurrencies. So, for crypto segment, choose only bitcoin and for stocks go with your countries fundamentally stronger projects. In some culture, people do treat gold and real estate investments as part of their spending like life's basic need but I recommend to do that purposefully.

Overall, diversifying portfolio after bitcoin investments may get negative growth in long run. Because, 99% of altcoins may not sustain in long run.
3389  Economy / Economics / Re: Prospective retailer on: November 27, 2021, 07:21:11 AM
Considered an exchange before with my friends, but owning a swap is SO MUCH easier. You basically take the pancake router, which means you are using their liquidity at all times and you are earning a slight share from every single swap made in that pair. It is not really awesome unless your token is awesome, you are not going to attract too many customers this way. However, if you could somehow build a project that could redirect people to pancakerouter via your own swap, then you are going to end up with a lot of income, and I mean A LOT.

People are making thousands of dollars per day easily with this method. Starting an exchange with high security is a difficult thing, but starting a swap is easy when you compare the development time, it is the marketing that takes time in both of them and you could easily fail if you are not careful.
3390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 26, 2021, 09:39:05 PM
As a spurs fan, it is great to see Derozan finally getting the attention he deserves. He was great with us as well, even though he wasn't set with our young core and he was covering a position that could be better used for giving experience to young players since we wouldn't be able to achieve anything anyway, we always knew that he was a great player and provided so much for us. I am glad that he found home at Bulls and he is playing so well there, I would be very upset if he just didn't get anything done there.

Derozan is the type of player who goes against the wave of three point shooters in this era and play however he wants which makes things a bit more challenging for other teams to defend. Everyone is so used to covering the paint and perimeter that players like Derozan who can score from midrange gets great shots due to lack of defensive help.
3391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the Deep (Bitcoin). on: November 26, 2021, 09:15:36 PM
There's no doubt that Bitcoin will rebound again. However, I wouldn't buy anything at the moment. Consider the different support levels for Bitcoin, figure out which one holds, then act accordingly. As of now everyone wants to go shopping on Black Friday.

For now, get some popcorn and enjoy the display. I have my USDT ready, if the market turns favorable, I'll get in.
I would say buying right now is not really that terrible idea neither. I am not saying this is the best optimum price you could buy, there could be other places when it falls down that you could buy, all I am saying is that buying right now is not the best but it is not the worst neither. So if anyone wants to really buy bitcoin then they could buy bitcoin and they could wait and even if it falls down a bit more (not guaranteed) you could just wait it out and eventually you will be in profit.

Let's be honest 70k is not that far away and we all know that either in a week or in a year it will be 70k+ so buying right now is not a bad idea. I lowered the BTC part of my portfolio because I believe 10x is more possible with other coins now whereas bitcoin making 10x doesn't look that possible for the time being, it will be possible in the long run so I still have a huge part of it on bitcoin but lesser compared to past.
3392  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far will Bitcoin price correct? on: November 26, 2021, 08:22:11 PM
After experiencing a correction, many analyze with the right support to buy but at the end of this month bitcoin support area is 50k or after 30k maybe we will see it soon, I don't know if this is the effect of Christmas or the holiday season, this correction is clear a lot of noise with support in the lower area.
If this holds up it means bitcoin is pretty strong, but still I wouldn't take it for granted with some of the analysis and I'd like to see how it turns out at the end of the year.
I would say that Christmas is part of it for sure, I mean every time we get closer to December we end up getting a bit lower. I am not saying that it is a must, we had 2017 where in December it went up a lot, so it is clear that we have other days we end up with bad results as well as good results. This means that as long as we are talking about December increases and decreases, Christmas is only a part of the deal and not the whole thing.

So, if you ask me right now we are living both the bad part of Christmas, following a big fall already doesn't help, and we already increased a lot so it is not even a full drop since we are so much higher compared to last year hence making it harder to keep going. All this and then some gets included whenever we are talking about something like a fall or increase, it is always a lot of reasons and not just one single reason.
3393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: November 26, 2021, 05:51:22 PM
I am not entirely sure about Tera and Theta because I do not have any investments on all of those. However I know that the others are definitely looking like they could survive 5 years. We know that ETH will definitely make a profit in 5 years, that is a good one, ADA seems like it had a hype and reeled back to reality and I am not sure what it could do in 5 years, it depends on their development and if they could do smart contracts properly and there could be good projects then in 5 years it could be great, if not then they will fail to develop properly then it would go down for sure.

Avax seems like it has a decent future, it could be definitely going to a higher level in 5 years. Only thing that we could believe in right now about Dot is that it is doing fine for now but it is another uncertain thing because 5 years is a long time. All in all I would believe that we should be not really believing what coins could do in 5 years and understand it today, we should just hope for it to do well.
3394  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think does this Cities have that we dont? on: November 26, 2021, 11:53:08 AM
Not worrying about justice. I know that "justice" may not be something that many people who live in those places realize that they have and very valuable but for all of us who live in other nations we realize that justice is the most important thing. When your nation is so corrupt that you find out your president stole few billion dollars from the citizens and it didn't even make the news, I do not mean any consequences, it literally doesn't even make the news because news is afraid of the president and doesn't deliver that news, so you find out about it on social media.

This is why justice is important for innovation and planning for the future. If you do not have justice, then who will make innovations? Nobody would be caring about getting better because they do not have a hope that it will be supported and someone close to president could literally steal it anytime they want.
3395  Economy / Economics / Re: Can civilization revert to a barter system on: November 26, 2021, 09:51:04 AM
CBDC will not be the only method of payment that you are forced to use. They are creating it for an alternative to crypto basically, we still have fiat both in banknotes and also digitally in our bank accounts as well. So, you will still be able to pay cash or with credit card as usual without any change in that regard as far as I am aware. You could totally ignore CBDC if you want to and use the old method, or could go with crypto debit cards as well which are getting more and more famous. These days crypto debit cards have huge cashback rewards as well so you are saving up a lot on small stuff, like how netflix is getting 50% back and all that.

So, all in all I would say that barter will not be needed at all, it is a very old system and very rarely used in small sectors. I had something like that offered, a barter credit for half worth of my house while other half would be in cash, but I rejected it since I am not a business and can't buy anything with it, so it is out there but very rare.
3396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: November 25, 2021, 09:29:01 PM
A loss to City by PSG doesn't look that great but considering they got the first game I would say it is totally fine. The only problem is that they have a tie with Leipzig and Brugge which never really made sense to me. Leipzig doing horrible at bundesliga right now and not like how they were last season, and brugge is ... well brugge. In any case, PSG needs to do a bit better, but it is totally understandable to be failing in chemistry so far, they are going to get better and play much better together the more games they play.

Sherrif seems to actually did alright for themselves, considering they worth 10% of most stars as a whole roster, I would say getting that 2 wins was more than enough for them, now they will move to Europa and probably lose there too but getting this far is more than enough for a team like that. Aside from that nothing really worthy of talking happened, the games were pretty tame.
3397  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a clear sign of high inflation? on: November 25, 2021, 08:16:02 PM
This is both good but also very bad at the same time. It is bad because it shows that inflation has cost the nation a lot and we are going to pay a lot more for everything we buy, even though we look like we got "richer" in reality our money stayed the same so there is really nothing that helps us in this regard.

However, it is good because we may not have any money to invest at all and it would mean that we wouldn't be able to invest and we would be missing out on this. Imagine yourself being one of the people who are out of work because of the nationwide strikes and now you need to spend the money you have in your bank account, or maybe not even have anything in your bank account, that is the worst situation you could be in at that moment. This is why even though inflation is bad, at least having enough money to take advantage of this increase in stocks is good for all of us who invested into it.
3398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive vs seasonal trading on: November 25, 2021, 06:59:34 PM
If they focus on trading for sure no one really earn a living out of it since all the time we trade its like we gamble our money to win or not and even how experience you are in trading's still we can't deny that we still lose once the market moves unexpectedly. That's why its not good to listen with people who always create hype and always tell they are earning passively since one thing is for sure here they are just trying to convince us to buy what token or coin they told so that they can earn extra profit for pumping it even a little bit.
I agree with that when it is low market cap coins, but when it is the high end ones then I am not entirely sure if that would be said the same. Like for example if I talk about how awesome bitcoin, eth, ada, bnb, sol and whatever is, is it still "shilling"? I mean we are talking about something that is already at top 10, which means it is already loved by everyone and then it shouldn't be really shilling but more about how it is actually quite decent to suggest something at the very high level since it is already at high meaning it is already decided to be a good thing by the whole community.

Aside from that I agree that people will suggest what they are doing, otherwise why would you suggest something you are not doing, if it is so good then go ahead and do it yourself. So, it is not that people suggest it because they want you to do that too, they suggest what they do because they believe in that and doing it themselves as well.
3399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Target Price Methodology on: November 25, 2021, 06:24:45 PM
Use trailing stop when you are not sure about when you should be going out. This means when it is going up, set the stop loss higher and higher, which means the moment it starts to go down, you will be automatically selling but still making a profit.

So, let's assume you bought at 50, you set a stop loss at 45, then it becomes 55, you change your stop loss to 50, it becomes 60 then you change yours to 55, it is 90, you change yours to 85 and keep doing that as long as it goes up. This is only applicable if you do not have a set target price. This way if it crashes suddenly, you still get out and still making a profit at the same time and benefits you greatly. However if you really want to decide on target price, then you should learn more about technical analysis. In TA you have a lot of indicators and people make their strategy based on that indicator.
3400  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador develops further its bitcoin strategy on: November 24, 2021, 09:04:02 PM
Lots of Negative Nancy replies to this innovation in here, but they are missing the bigger picture. El Salvador introduced this, because they want the mostly poor citizens to pay less remittance fees for international money transfers and they want them to pay less Banking fees.

They also want to create a city with less taxes and also an opportunity for international Crypto mining operations to relocate to, with renewable "clean" energy. They also want to create a tourism magnet for all Bitcoiners around the world... where you can pay with your favorite alternative currency.  Wink
There will always be a lot of negative reviews whenever someone does something good for crypto. I hate Elon Musk with a burning fire but the things he did for crypto is marvelous, and I support him only on those crypto views because everything else I hate him.

It means even if you dislike El Salvador, even if you dislike their president, even if you dislike the idea itself and how the money could be used differently, even if you believe this is a great idea but won't be done and used for president to steal money from public, whatever the reason you are not supporting it, it is clear that it will be a help towards crypto world and we should be very happy about it. Even the "news" of it helps crypto and that means as long as there are good news on crypto then we should be supporting it and I am 100% behind this new idea since it will help me grow my portfolio.
