341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise? on: April 05, 2016, 09:48:27 PM
Bitcoin is expected to rise only after the days of halving. Till halving price drop can be experienced rather than a price increase.

lots of people are expecting a pre-halving pump. also what makes you think that the price will likely to go down instead of up before the halving?
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar Opened , your first impressions ? on: April 05, 2016, 09:32:46 PM
I have a question,Will openbazaar act as escrow? How is buyers and sellers protected in Openbazaar?

the escrow will be the users. and escrowed transactions will use 2 of 3 multi-signature address.
343  Economy / Lending / Re: Paypal / Coins.ph account as a collateral? Also I'm a newbie ;p on: April 05, 2016, 01:40:40 AM
Anyways, my question would be, do lenders here accept Paypal / Coins.ph and even FB account as a collateral? Including ID's, Proof of Billing and Payslip of course. Given that the borrower is a newbie?

most doesn't because they are not considered as valid[1] collateral. most of the users who accepts ID does it to steal your informations[2] for nefarious purposes.

Bears gonne get TRAINED!
openbazaar pump 3..2..1....

hasn't that been out for a few weeks?

that was on testnet mode. now it's the real thing.
it's still a bit hard to browse around the listings though.
345  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Openbazaar question on: April 05, 2016, 12:16:04 AM
Are they even up yet? I tried their website that was posted on another thread but it was idle and not going anywhere. When does it officially open to the public to start using their service?

they're up and running as of 6 hours ago.

So how are they moderating the payments?
Are they using some form of escrow? Otherwise it would be a scamming fest?
But in a decentralized market escrow is pretty inpossibru?

https://blog.openbazaar.org/how-moderators-and-dispute-resolution-work-in-openbazaar/

they uses 2-3 multisig address. so the escrow can't do anything with the bitcoins without the consent of either the buyer or seller. at least this will make things a little safer.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: OpenBazaar is OPEN!! on: April 04, 2016, 10:18:36 PM
this. is. awesome. I checked a few hours ago but their homepage still says "running in testnet mode". looks like they didn't update it yet.
gonna try out the real thing now.
347  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: April 04, 2016, 06:00:16 PM

348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to refind Account ? on: April 04, 2016, 05:36:30 PM
I doubt anyone can understand you, friend. ask someone from the local board of your native language.

1. Was there in 2002 one or 2 Sites for buying Bitcoins ?

if you're asking if there was a site accepting bitcoin in year 2002. the answer is 100% no.

edit:
looks like you edited your post. well there was no bitcoin 10 years ago. so you're probably mistook it for something else.
349  Economy / Lending / Re: need around 0.005 - 0.01 - to fill transaction on: April 04, 2016, 03:37:50 PM

I have seen some screenshots by other users in which the post count along with the activity is shown below their name in the threads they have posted.
But i cannot see such in my browser (Chrome). Why is this so ?
You can activate it in the profile layout options for your account.

close but it's not on layout options.

354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: incorrect btc with linux core version 0.12.0 64 bit imort privat key on: April 03, 2016, 03:46:08 PM
o thank you
yes core
do i put that code in the terminal ? in linux ?
you see i am totaly new to linux
i will try it
thanks
and i will post if its sucressful

if you're talking about the dumpprivkey, you do that from the built in console.

if you're moving the whole wallet like shorena suggested. you won't need the terminal/console.
355  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.5 BTC for investing on: April 03, 2016, 03:36:19 PM
steam account are not valid collateral. get a valid one.
also you need 0.5BTC as you wrote on the subject or 1BTC as you wrote on OP?
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: incorrect btc with linux core version 0.12.0 64 bit imort privat key on: April 03, 2016, 02:34:21 PM
ok i see
well the old wallet is still on my win pc
still running
do you sugest i create  the privat keys(plural) again?
and would you be so kind and give me a link where i would find a step by step instruction
becouse it seems i did miss something last time i did the paperwallet

what's your old wallet? electrum or core (or others)?

for electrum right click on an address and choose private key. or, if you want to export all of your addresses, choose wallet > private keys > export.

for core go to the console and type:
Code:
dumpprivkey [address]
357  Other / Meta / Re: how to upload a picture? on: April 03, 2016, 12:07:36 PM
you can only post a picture once you reach Jr. Member using this tag:

you upload them somewhere else like imgur. you can't embed videos here, but you can post the link.
358  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: April 03, 2016, 11:54:44 AM
Looks like weekly payout did not go out today.  Sent a PM still a great campaign I have to be getting close to a year or so in it.

Would appreciate 2016-04-03 payments going out.  Thanks!

I have not been paid for entire month of march.
No one has answered my pm's
No one has replied to me here.

maybe because they haven't seen your PM. bitcoin_boy$ was last active on April 02 02:02:46 AM and your first post on this page was a hour after that.
359  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking For a Micro loan on: April 02, 2016, 10:57:43 PM
whoa whoa.. take a breath, man.

here's what you need to know.
1. reputation loans are frowned upon here.
2. almost all of the users here won't give a low ranked member a loan without collateral.
3. list of valid collateral.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: incorrect btc with linux core version 0.12.0 64 bit imort privat key on: April 02, 2016, 05:42:16 PM
no still does not work

hmmm. doesn't work how exactly? did the client opened or not at all?

i do remember when i erased a file in the appdate when i used windows
then the wallet had to rescan

could i dó that in linux too ? and if so what file would i have to erase ?

I don't know about erasing anything (nor do I think that it's a good idea). but importing a private key will make qt rescan.
