341  Economy / Lending / Re: Bitcoin loan on: January 18, 2018, 06:51:24 AM
I understand I m a newbie, however I can provide all identification documents and my bank statements as well to prove my authenticity.  I understand that the loan amount is ready big.  But if u can trust me I won't let u down for sure.
People on this forum will only give loan if you have valid collateral, trust and your identification worth nothing here, we can't sell your identity if you defaulted a loan
Quote
What is considered collateral?

Collateral is something that can easily be resold to cover the loan value plus interest should the loaner default on the loan.

- The best collateral is another crypto-currency, such as Litecoin (also written as LTC).  Coins must be moderately traded on multiple exchanges.
- Some digital wares such as domain names can be considered as long as the user cannot recover it.
- Small valuable items that can be shipped though the mail - i.e. gold, silver, iphones, etc.
- Large items, such as a motorcycle or guitar can be used if you live close to the person giving you the loan.  Try localbitcoins.com

342  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: To contact Xapo Support, please use our FAQs (https://support.xapo.com/) on: January 18, 2018, 06:38:27 AM
Yes, meaning to say they still haven't initiated my transaction. 20 hours...

I am not waiting an answer,

I want to show what is xapo...
Might want to contact their support in that case, they don't reply to this topic anymore
Now, they only give support if you email them, but good luck getting a reply as their support are known for being slow
Next time use desktop based wallet instead Wink

Lol any phone number to call to? Need my password to make a new deposit and no answer from support
As far as I know, nope
You have to contact their email instead, which is disappointing for a company this big to not have phone based customer support
343  Economy / Reputation / Re: Could I be safe from negative trust if I lead ANN of a scam project? on: January 18, 2018, 05:40:54 AM
And write something along the lines.

"I do not support any scam projects. Should this project be proven a scam or dishonest in any way, i will gladly delete this post"
Unfortunately by the time he already deleted his post, some people would have fallen for the scam project  Undecided

@OP
Better do research on the project before taking a lead on a project, if it smells fishy then don't take it
There are many ICOs project that turned out to be a scam, so I'd advise to be more vigilant when being offered a job like that
By refusing a potentially scam job you already helped newbies to not lose their money Smiley
344  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin legal? on: January 17, 2018, 11:28:53 AM
The legality of Bitcoin itself depends on where do you live
Some countries allows bitcoin, others do not, and the rest doesn't really have any stance on bitcoin itself.

In my place, bitcoin itself is placed within gray zone, you are allowed to use them for payment gateway, but if I somehow got scammed I don't have any protection from the governments and its laws.
You can check the legality by consulting your local government or from this wikipedia article, they're really useful Wink

345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect is shutting down !!! on: January 17, 2018, 11:23:36 AM
BitConnect is a well known ponzi website, people has speculated that BitConnect won't last in 2018 and I guess that were true Roll Eyes
and thanks to them the price tanked down to a new low price point since 3 Months ago.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitconnect-closes-virtually-its-entire-operation-bcc-token-drops-87

From what I heard their "investors" money will be exchanged into BitConnect token, good luck with that though, its fucking worthless Tongue
The price just dropped  by 87% today and will be worse as the time passes
346  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 11-Jan-2018] on: January 17, 2018, 02:38:38 AM
the campaign is already full since yesterday . So the man post that there are a new campaign accepting new participant only today is wrong . Why he didn't post about it since yesterday . Posting this today leads people searching for free slots in campaign for a dead end is just wrong and selfish . He could post that yesterday it could be good . But posting that today what does it mean. Making fool of people ?
*Sigh*
It doesn't matter whether he posted it yesterday or next week, you guys are in a different ranks and thus, different slots of rank will be filled, see my point below.
Quote
2.This list is maintained by community, its normal to accidentally skipped a campaign or two if no people reported about it

Also, Are you illiterate or just lazy?
It clearly says Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns
If you want to find the latest campaign then you will need to actively search it in the forum and sign up before it got full

Then again, I won't expect you to be enrolled on major campaigns with that kind of quality Roll Eyes
Stick to ICO bounties instead, they're far less strick than BTC campaigns

Edit: Added 2 campaigns from yojodojo and moved Moonlite to active

Either Mitchell or Fatanut have to review this first though Smiley
347  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake translation service needs a neg tagging on: January 16, 2018, 12:41:51 AM
If someone told me that he's fluent in 3 languages I would believe him
6 languages though?
Average people would take around 4 years to learn a new language, that means he at least has learned literature for the past 24 Years Roll Eyes
My bullshit sense is tingling right now, especially with how he begged around bounties for a work

I think anyone can make typos, so that's not the big sign of fake translations. But claiming to know so many languages and that too so different ones, is what surprises me. For example, one might know Hindi and Urdu or Arabic and Indonesian, but being fluent in Urdu, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian, Hindi and Portuguese at the same time is almost impossible. Most probably Ambreenamin is using machine translations. I can't say of other languages, but "Google Translate" spits out garbage while translating Hindi....
Even though typos are bound to happen, a good translator always proof-read their work because it is part of their job
The word "Thread" and "Threat" is typed in a very different layout on keyboard, try it if you don't believe me Wink
one more point, he does that more than once, if its typo it shouldn't happen so often
348  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Uquid card will be deactivated again on 26/01/2018 on: January 16, 2018, 12:25:39 AM
Quote
You have 10 days to utilize the balance remaining on your card/cards issued by Paynetics under the agreement with Cocsi Ltd /Uquid/.

No offense, but are there still people using Uquid? It has already been proved tons of times that this card provider was a shit.

They were not acredditing the pending balances, they were just taking you money with invisible fees, they are a dissater, and i heard about people who never received their card.

It is just healthy for the entire crypto sister, just knowing that another shitty company will disappear makes me feel confortable.

I once tried to register on uquid, the website went offline the moment I pressed sign up Tongue
Good thing I didn't continue my registration, those first impression were awful

On another topic, it's getting harder to get my hands on bitcoin debit card, many exchanges decided to close their card service.
I hope they find a new card provider who could provide bitcoin based card, a bonus point if they can delivery it outside EU Tongue
349  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 11-Jan-2018] on: January 15, 2018, 01:34:51 PM
yeah this is a topic  for updates and adding new signature campaign but you still find campaign closed still on the list and still people posting applications waisting time for nothing , it will be much better if moderators and admins who take care of updates give more care about this . people here want to contribute to this forum and work hard but everything is getting worse day after day . give more attention please
1. Don't quote the whole post, it's unneccesary and long.
2.This list is maintained by community, its normal to accidentally skipped a campaign or two if no people reported about it
3.Again, this list is maintained by community, not mods, they're not getting paid for updating this list, it's voluntary
4.Posting an application on signature campaigns only take a few seconds, few minutes if you got slow connection. I won't exactly call that a time waster
5.You don't need to be enrolled on sig campaign to contribute to the forum
6.You are also free to update this table

That being said, I've removed InsurePal

350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hasn't Bitcoin been hacked in the past? on: January 15, 2018, 01:19:50 PM
Important detail: Bitcoin itself has NEVER been hacked. Only some SERVICES using bitcoin (exchanges).
There is actually a vulnurelability for bitcoin existed back in 2010, but it has been patched since then and the coins did not exist anymore
Although it was the very early days of bitcoin, so bugs and exploits are bound to be found Roll Eyes

351  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blitzmining scam? on: January 15, 2018, 01:14:39 PM
Anyone was also scammed by this web/guy??

Already reported the police and waiting for information
Wait, did you get scammed by blitzmining or not?
I doubt the police can do much, especially local police

If you want it to be effective, simply report to its hosting provider or domain registrar, they can suspend either the server of its domain
whois should be able to tell you where the domain is registered from and its hosting

p.s please don't bump this topic anymore, the discussion is already ended long time ago and if you somehow got scammed by them go to scam accusation section Wink
352  Other / Meta / Re: Account stolen on: January 15, 2018, 05:44:28 AM

353  Economy / Marketplace / Re: bitcoin price from 20$ down to 13$. What do you think about this decline? on: January 15, 2018, 05:24:08 AM
It's a correction from how I see it. The price rose so fast last year between the last week of november until december the price of bitcoin almost doubled and the dips wasn't big at that time. Imo Bitcoin will still increase in 2018 but it won't gain much against other coins. It's better to experience the small crash of bitcoin now than having a bigger one in the future.

It was a correction when Segwit was introduced. But then it should have positively grown back to $17K. It is not. Korean government started banning exchanges and traders if i am not wrong. This caused drastic fall in bitcoin. I assume, bitcoin value should be retrived back to minimum of $15K in a week time once the banning is over and people start using local exchanges.
Funny enough, those news about Korea banning crypto caused a civil war between their govt
https://cointelegraph.com/news/nothing-finalized-south-korea-govt-ministries-diverge-over-crypto-ban-proposal

The price should stay $13 until we heard the status of Korea whether they are going to ban crypto or not
Until then, buy and hold, Remember that Japan is also a big user of Crypto (and actually backed by their govt)Smiley
354  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing Bitcoin Cash From Freebitco.in? on: January 15, 2018, 05:19:05 AM
It's simply not available, they gave you Bcash, but in order to withdraw you must convert your current Bcash back to Bitcoin, ridiculous I know Roll Eyes
If you're lookin for Bcash then you can go to faucet made exclusively for Bcash

So glad i have found this post. I am still collecting my free bitcoin but i am not aware that i cannot encash it. Convert it to bitcoin is a benefit my question is can i use my wallet app address instead of freebitco.in address that they gave me so i can transfer my balance there?
If your App is Bitcoin wallet, yeah you can transfer your coins from freebitco.in into your wallet using your bitcoin's address
355  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I Invest in Bitminer.io? on: January 15, 2018, 05:05:46 AM
You can report bitminer.io at https://actionfraud.police.uk/ since the address belongs to that country, and maybe you will recover some of your money.
It' wont do much
the UK address most likely belongs to hosting company or something like that, if you report the best that they can do is to suspend the website, which can easily be hosted back on another provider
Honestly, the only way to kill Ponzi is to not invest anything in it and let the website dead
alas, people were too greedy and bought it anyway Sad
356  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Where do you store your electrum 12 word phrase? on: January 14, 2018, 02:08:17 PM
i just save my seed on keep.google.com like a TITLE so i create 12 title if someone ask its save i think yeah because only me know my gmail account  Cheesy

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.  Cheesy

ha ha ha may be this a stupid things but not many people know that it is electrum seed  Grin

Not if your hacker are avid cyptocurrency user, which most hacker are Tongue
For sake of security I hope you were joking, or at least you've put 2FA on your Google account

Just make it simple, memorize it like the good old days
Your brain can't get hacked and have it seed stolen

This sounds very complicated.  The thing is this is way too much words.  I really dont think many people here would remember the 12 world phrase.  Let say they do... now you have to make sure you got it all in the right order.
It's actually doable with a few hours of memorizing, either forcefully or by making your own little stories
357  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 14, 2018, 08:44:37 AM
Hey guys,
Anyone knows a trusted provider for virtual debit card?
Most of my transactions are taking place online, so I won't need a physical one

I've been using Shakepay these past months but they had to stop (Damn wavecrest)
I need the one that can be registed by outside EU customer

I tried Mona.co but it seems they're in ICO stages and no virtual option (although their physical card looks sick)

Hey Zazarb,
Is it possible for me to trade your Paypal for my BTC?
I'm currently looking for $30 in Paypal funds
359  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WageCan - Gold card on: January 14, 2018, 04:29:58 AM
Hello
Is this card working with PP and i can withdraw money from PP to it ?
Not sure, but it should works as I've tried this with other card provider before

Quote
Is this card not blocked by Crest and working now ?
Wagecan card provider is not Wavecrest, hence the reason why  they can still distribute cards outside EU

Quote
Is this card have support secure online payment technology Mastercard® SecureCode™ or Verified by Visa. ?
Not sure, you have to ask their support, but most Bitcoin Debit Card doesn't have mastercard securecode for sure

Quote
Is this card have support secure online payment technology Mastercard® SecureCode™ or Verified by Visa. ?
You must be so desperate to waste $225 on plastic debit card

This is my main reason why I won't buy Wagecan, ridiculous price and the fact that they didn't have Virtual Card available
I'm using most of my money for online payment, it's not worth it to have physical card for this reason alone
360  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit deposit missing. on: January 12, 2018, 03:01:48 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2728351.0

Looks like you're not the first one to have issues with Ecash deposit.
Yobit customer support are well-known to be slow and bad, expect a response in a few weeks or nothing at all
Seeing how you're not the first one to have the same exact problem, I'm gonna gues Yobit is scamming out of their users until there are further notice from Yobit itself.
For now, don't get your hopes up so you won't feel disappointed if they really did ran away with your ecash
