Alright, let's post some updates from @giammangiato

What to expect next from the telegram notification bot:
Quote
* Merit sender and topic link. As on the Merit page.
* More sentences than quotes. It would be good. 6-7 words are not understandable.
* There is no need for notification when the name is mentioned in the quote in quote.
* You can add Trust notifications weekly. Those who add or remove you trust list. Like this page. Or you can link directly, when the update takes place. Usually @Loycev updates on Tuesdays.

3404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NitrogenSports forcing me to rollover my deposit once? on: February 03, 2020, 11:45:15 AM
~
IMO if this wasn't in the TOS then the casino deserves to be shunned and perhaps even a scam report written against them for malpractice and attempting to extort BTC newbies.
IMO, if this is not in their TOS, Nitrogen would not hold the funds and require OP to do the rollover requirement. I am not sure if which part of the TOS ~
OP already mentioned that NitrogenSports showed him a clause in the TOS hidden under the Cashier rules.

~
Anyhow, it seems like that they won't budge. I've completed my rollover now (very reluctantly) and hopefully they do free up my account.
They also did show me a clause in the terms and conditions that is well hidden under the "cashier" section. Whether or not this was reasonable is up to you to decide Undecided

Written somewhere in the cashier rules is this:
Quote
All users are required to make a first-time deposit and provide significant action (one-time rollover on funds) before being able to withdraw any winnings from poker free rolls, contests, and free bets.

Police Forces in Belgium, France and Israel Stop Scam Promising 35% Returns on Crypto Investments

Quote
Police forces in Belgium, France and Israel have reportedly put a stop to an international scam promising high returns of up to 35% on crypto investments. A big French private company and a French local authority are said to be among the 85 victims of this network. In total, 10 suspects related to the case have been arrested.

~

I wonder why the article doesn't even mention local news sources. I'm pretty sure stories like this would have made it in main stream publications. With just estimated amounts scammed, this is looking like a made up story by the author. Not even the name of the group was mentioned and other relevant information. We have to be more careful of what we read these days, even articles from known crypto news sites are just pure rubbish Grin

edit:

The article is quite vague, but upon further investigation, the news have been sourced out of EuroJust. If you're interested, read it here: http://www.eurojust.europa.eu/press/PressReleases/Pages/2020/2020-01-30.aspx

The 6.6 million scam must be the total of all the stated amount by victims and their investigation when the members of the OCG has been arrested.
Thanks for this. Even the source article is quite vague but it's better than the one in the OP. Where did you get the EURO 6.6 million by the way? In both articles, it's EURO 6 million.

On topic, I honestly didn't think people from the so-called first world would still fall for this trick. I thought those from third world countries are the usual victims. On the bright side though, the joint effort by the authorities to bring down an OCG is highly commendable.
3406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nitrogen Sports Slip Is Not Right on: February 03, 2020, 07:16:20 AM
Unless you have more proofs like screenshots of their platform having some sort of glitches when the lines suddenly changed and the odds appearing different from what you've chosen, they will probably continue to ignore you. If there will be others who will claim that the same thing happened to them, that might increase your chances of getting a refund at least.

save a lot of fees compared to usual payment processors like WU or alike.
Yes, malaki nga fees ng mga international transfers whether done thru remittance centers like WU or bank transfers. On paper, Bitwage has an advantage over both platforms.

I don't think they have a formal partnership kasi you would just input the BTC address that you have from your coins.ph/wallet. ~
Regardless if formal partnership or not, coinsph should at least introduce the platform to its local user base. The fact that they've entered into some agreement is enough reason to do that IMO.

Pa share naman nung tweet mo para ma check din yung progress, or keep us updated here. Sa mga may makakapag contribute, I would be willing to add some more information related to it or something.

3408  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcoin Payroll on: February 03, 2020, 04:51:26 AM
I checked the coinsph site to see if there's any blog advertising the platform or any write up about the partnership but I could not find any. We don't even know kung active pa yung partnership nila hanggang sa ngayon.

Wow that's a lot of work but thanks.
You gotta put in some work mate. The steps shown by OmegaStarScream are simple enough and all you got to do is practice. If you don't want to create an account for image hosting services like imgur, here's another option https://postimages.org/. You can also upload there by URL.

The lagest Bitcoin mixer is about to stop working. Nagsara to nung 2017,

That's a lot of hours spent daily.

~
I can't understand that system, I am 4 years here and almost online all the time and still my time log is 43days  Huh

Another user once asked
~
- how does work "Total time logged in"? ~

Then moderator answered
~
2. The counter actually increases by 15 minutes and then you automatically become inactive until you refresh the page. So If you just visit a thread, go inactive for a few minutes, then refresh the page, you will see that your total time logged in increased by 15mn.

3418  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If I want to explain to a 10 years boy.what is blockchain? How should I explain? on: February 02, 2020, 08:03:13 AM
The main point OP wants to tell, I think, is being able to explain blockchain in the simplest of terms. He could have used a grandparent as another example here. For noobs to be able to understand blockchain and crypto, we may need to treat them as having the mind of a kid or a grandparent learning the tech for the first time. Being able to teach the basics to those who doesn't have the slightest idea is crucial in any product/service to be widely used.
3419  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SSH Wallet Scam? on: February 02, 2020, 07:33:25 AM
This is pretty obvious to us who have seen this kind of scam. No legit wallet or exchange would ask anyone to deposit something first before users could withdraw.

~
Obviously a scam.. I see 6 people fell for this with what I saw today.
Those six could be part of the scam too. It's a common method used in fake giveaways that I have seen on twitter/facebook/youtube to make it look like it is legit.

You really never know what to expect from this guy. Given na marami na siyang inconsistencies sa kanyang mga previous statements at marami ding palya sa kanyang mga shills at price predictions, we can still appreciate the fact na suportado niya ang cryptocurrencies in general. Not that crypto needed some defenders but it is still good to have someone who made name for himself defends cryptos against the financial/government institutions attacks
