Hi All,

Whichs alts are you buying right now?

I am buying the Bitcoin Cash, it is quite good.

The price has dropped quite a lot recently. Maybe it is time to buy now.
3502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to buy after the corrections? on: August 22, 2017, 10:06:36 AM
These are the names I bought in decreasing order of capital allocated

LTC, BTC, DAR, XDN, VIA, XMR, SEC, GRC, SC

LTC - increased existing position, this has lagged other large cap currencies and has faster transactions than BTC, trades on many Chinese exchanges, Charles Lee the creator just left Coinbase and will be focusing on LiteCoin development full time which may be a catalyst for future price appreciation. His twitter link is attached.
https://twitter.com/satoshilite?lang=en

DAR - new position, they are attempting to disintermediate the SQL replication and business recovery businesses, at less than 10m market cap this is a decent bet, enterprise focused coins like Factom and Ethereum seem to be outperforming currency oriented coins https://darcr.us

GRC - this is a sleeper, off the radar name, use case to solve problems for science, market cap of 35m at the current price of $0.081169 , https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/gridcoin/

It is August now, you can buy some Bitcoin Cash.
3503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to buy after the corrections? on: May 27, 2017, 05:42:34 PM
Always invest in the top coins which has a good market capital and volume and wait for the correction to get over before investing in it,if so you will always have a good return and a good correction is mandatory with every rally and that is how the market works all the time.

Do you think de corrections are not over yet?

I think it will take several weeks at least.
3504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC Segwit is over 70% on: April 06, 2017, 04:55:31 PM
I sold my LTC. It broke down out of the symmetric wedge. Now we have to see if it is a false breakdown with a pullback. Otherwise it is headed back to 0.0075 or below. The market apparently is very doubtful, so maybe we have to pullback and reload.

It's just market noise. Relative to BTC there's an opportunity to acquire more LTC because of the BTC spike.

LTC/USD tells a different story: Triangle remains.

Will that break up?
3505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: March 13, 2017, 12:56:45 PM
Current price 0.03670022 BTC , $44.76 . It may cost 50 dollars.

It depends on the action of the rich people. If they have enough ZEC already, they will pump the price.
3506  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: February 23, 2017, 07:40:26 AM
Fiat is the one that has given the best financial service for all our needs. If fiat is not there the system will collapse entirely, so fiat will rule the world even when bitcoin and other currencies increase in acceptance.

The bitcoin will also have good financial service in the future.
3507  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: January 04, 2017, 01:21:17 PM
Why wouldn't I believe in fiat? Afterall this is the currency I use for my day to day expense and also I receive my salary in fiat. So most definitely I believe in fiat and I will continue doing so. Nothing seriously happened for that I have to stop believing fiat.

Bitcoin is an investment to me and nothing else. One thing I know that bitcoin investment will give me a much higher return than any other conventional investment available in the market. So I invest and store bitcoin. But fiat I use for my daily expenses. So I actually believe in both fiat and bitcoin.

That is right. We just use fiat but do not have emotions with that.
3508  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 27, 2016, 09:07:21 AM
All of us here we know the bitcoin advantages compared to fiat but fiat dominates the world something difficult to change. So If we believe to bitcoin we must use bitcoin. That is to buy/sell goods and services in every day transactions. If we use bitcoin only for hoarding then we tacitly agree that we trust only fiat money.
I do not think it should aim to replace fiat because it is impossible. quite become the alternative of fiat was even excellent
because fiat is have the whole world and will continue to be used and I believe in fiat
Before we even think of bitcoin or cryptocurrencies replacing fiat, bitcoin needs to become the dominant online payment, bitcoin casinos are doing a great job promoting bitcoin but we need to displace Paypal first.

The bitcoin will not become a dominant online line payment. If it is 5%, then it is a great achievement.
3509  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 11, 2016, 01:41:11 PM

We don't have choice but to keep on believing in fiat for this is being used as universal currency all over the world. And its true that bitcoin is not able to replace fiat money if we are going to look with today's standing of bitcoin.

Both fiat and bitcoin has their own purpose. Bitcoin as a virtual currency  while fiat is used in our daily transaction offline.Still fiat is important as most people are not still connected or transacting online.
Fiat is very important to all of us even users of bitcoin, the fact is we cannot live without fiat but we can live without bitcoin. That is something we should put in our mind and we have to remain realistic in life despite of the great progress of bitcoin. Bitcoin will only be an alternative currency and will not replace fiat in the position.

As time goes on, bitcoin will be used by more people. So if it becomes the major currency, people can use it instead of fiat.
3510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sorry to all who buy Zcash at 1btc + on: December 06, 2016, 08:01:50 AM
There is more time . We have to wait at least a year .

After a year, if the ZCash can prove itself. The price could rise again. It has to be useful to somebody for people to buy it.
3511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sorry to all who buy Zcash at 1btc + on: November 20, 2016, 02:42:03 PM
Got into ZEC @ 100btc/ZEC

I think my great, great, great, great, great grandchildren will enjoy the returns on my investment  Cool
Only a matter of time!  Cool

The price of the ZCash will rise a lot in the future if you price that in fiat or US dollars, might not so in bitcoin.
3512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sorry to all who buy Zcash at 1btc + on: November 08, 2016, 01:59:47 PM
it was all a hype and i am sure many have made good amount of profit from the rise (i missed it though because i was busy those days!) but it is always possible as long as you realize that all altcoins have is hype and nothing else.

also know when to get out which is the most important part of it all Cheesy

The ZCash is a big hype at the moment. The price will keep on dropping until a big app comes out for it.
3513  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: October 12, 2016, 05:28:22 PM
If bitcoin achieves that price in future then I will sell all the coins that I would be holding and with that money I would start my own business from where I could manage to get regular income.

That is a good action. When the price of bitcoin is that high, 100 bitcoin can buy you a lot of things.
3514  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the bull run that doesn't end.. on: October 11, 2016, 08:34:56 AM
Yeah it'd be good if somebody could poke the bull with an electric cattle prod or something to get him up & moving again, it's all gone a bit stale.

Yeah, I noticed that too, been a bit stable for some week now, though recently there is some increase.  It has been observed that Bitcoin price keep charging high in November and December just like last year.  I think it will happen this year too.  And bitcoin might reach 900 USD before 2016 ends.

The bitcoin price is quite stable recently. It is consolidating at the moment. It might rise to $900 in December.
3515  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the bull run that doesn't end.. on: September 17, 2016, 06:04:34 PM
It can't be, because the current implementation can't handle mass adaption right now.

We can barely even handle the current traffic because of that stupid arbitrary 1 MB blocksize limit that serves no purpose other than to clog the network.

Once that problem is dealt with, we might see a real bull run.

I heard the SegWit will be released soon. So maybe in a year, the block size will be good enough for mass adoption.

With the new segwit implemtatoin and november ahead we may be in for a treat. Although I am not sure at what time they actually will decided to launch it.
The more times it takes, the better and less the impact will be.

Why Novemeber is so important? Will the SegWit be released at the time?
3516  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the bull run that doesn't end.. on: September 04, 2016, 07:35:41 AM
It's a pretty good bull run we're having, and it's been rising pretty much since last year, though we stalled out for a while.  It's crazy to think that signature campaign earnings could feed someone in a poor country.  Can you imagine if we got to $10,000 or higher?  Assuming payouts didn't decrease, that would be unreal.

How much have you made though signature campaigns?

I'm considering it... but dont wanna sell my soul  Grin

There is not much to be made from the signature campaign. It is better to earn money from other sources.

I mine the bitcoin indirectly. I mine the altcoins and then sell the altcoins for the bitcoin. It is quite profitable now.
3517  Economy / Speculation / Re: why do you buy bitcoins? on: August 21, 2016, 02:12:11 PM
i buy bitcoin because bitcoin going to higher its price too much faster than other currency .
yes, the price is going to be huge in the near future, i hope that it will allow me to make some good money really easily though anything might happen

I agree with that. So it is good time to buy some bitcoin now. The price is very low compared to the future price.

It is a good time to buy some bitcoin now. The price is low due to the hack on a single exchange. The price will rise soon.

I shall buy some bitcoin at around $550. We are lucky that the price dropped to this level thanks to the hacking.

Yeah its a good price to buy coins as price is below $600 and it will again rise in coming months which will help us in making some good profits from it.
buy bitcoin now I think is a good occasion, and of course this would be advantageous. other than that you can use for other business. if I buy a bitcoin, I guess it was because I needed it for trading. bitcoin trading can make me more and more, but for now I think very well to hold bitcoin I bought it as a very profitable investment
Buying bitcoin and investing in trading is the best thing to do as we can surely grow our coins from trading, so more coins you hold more profits you can expect in future.

It is a good idea to hold the bitcoin. But it is also good if you trade the bitcoin with other good altcoins such as the Ethereum or Dash.
3518  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the bull run that doesn't end.. on: August 05, 2016, 11:07:35 AM
Yeah, I'm not sure you wouldn't want a rise of greater than 100% over the course of the next 20 years. 100% would put Bitcoin at $1,300, which would be way too small of value for Bitcoin to keep moving and keep the investor base it has for those next 20 years. You're looking at, at the very least, a relative doubling of the value for each year for the halvings to work and to keep the investors interested. That's just my opinion though.

I don't even know why I replied. I hate it when people say they WANT the price to stay low or to only rise at a snail's pace. It's not good for bitcoin, it's not good for them, it's not good for anyone... just, WHY?

If you do not think so. Do you think the price bubble in later 2013 is good for the adoption of the bitocin?

I do not think so. Big pump and dump of the bitcoin price is bad for the mass adoption of the bitcoin.
3519  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the bull run that doesn't end.. on: July 23, 2016, 07:58:12 AM
As long as the bitcoin price does not rise more than 300% every year, the bull run will last very long period.

That is right. The big pump and dump will do very big damage to the bitcoin. So a smooth run is better.
3520  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the bull run that doesn't end.. on: July 07, 2016, 03:10:50 PM
The bull run just ended yesterday. I think the price will be between $600 to $700 for the next few months.

Yeah, the bull run has ended. Nope, we'll see prices under 500, 400, even 300 in the next few months.

The bull run started in the middle of last year. It has not ended. If the price drops 40% of the peak, then it ends.
