3501  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 vaccination becoming a criteria to live in the world on: September 17, 2021, 06:23:52 PM
There are way too many people in the world who are either anti-vaxx as a whole, or they just anti-covid vaxx basically, and that is the kind of trouble that we are living right now. For some reason, at one point in history vaccinations turned from something that saves lives to few people saying they are bad into a lot of people saying they are bad. How did something that saved lives of millions upon millions of people suddenly started to see by some people as something that is bad is beyond me. But, the reality is that without vaccination, covid would have been so much worse, so much worse.
The number of people in my nation that became ill enough to stay in hospital from covid is huge. 50%+ of it was people who had no vaccination, 30% or so was from people with 2 sinovac, only 1.1% was from 3 sinovac, 0.5% or so was from 2 biontech. This is a good enough stat to convince me. However, these people see these stats and either say it is a lie, or they say covid was created so that they could sell these vaccinations and make money.. like that makes sense? I mean okay, even if they did something so horrible, I still want that vaccination so that I do not die, the reason is unimportant the result is you die without it.
3502  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: September 17, 2021, 02:23:59 PM
The difference between a pro gambler than regular gambler is they know what they will do in gambling and know how to manage their money and emotion while a regular gambler can forget sometimes.
A pro gambler knows that gambling is just entertainment which they can make money so when they think that everything is gonna change, they can leave the games anytime until the situation can be like before.
Yes, the curiosity will be something that every gambler have but that will not become bigger if we can control ourselves.
This is exactly why I feel like a pro gambler myself. I feel like there is a good chance that I will not win any money but I could end up having a lot of fun. The act of gambling itself is the thing I am looking to do, not the dream of making money from it. I do not eat something hoping I will get rich, I do not watch a movie hoping I would get rich, I do not check new youtube videos hoping to get rich.

I work and earn money to get rich, well I do not get rich with that neither but I can pay my bills just fine, it is really a cool thing to realize your work is your work and your entertainment shouldn't bring you any money. I realize that gambling is different and there is a CHANCE of you making money. However if you keep it going then you will just lose that too, so you would have to stop gambling as soon as you made some profit, which we all know nobody will do.
3503  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 17, 2021, 12:21:42 PM
Getting free stuff to gamble is definitely a great way of waking up, it is really a cool feeling because who wouldn't want to make some money. However at the same time, I would like to say that there is a good chance people may not end up with the right components to get it, could be anything from less wagered to not actively wagering these days. Yet that is not a reason to bash any website at all, they just didn't think you were worthy and there are some people who understand it and go "oh well.. anyway" and move on but there are some that make too much noise about it and "feel" like they deserve it when they do not. Just accept it and move on.
3504  Economy / Economics / Re: "Crypto is no longer in the early adoption stage" on: September 17, 2021, 09:00:55 AM
The cryptocurrency industry started with the launch of Bitcoin in 2009 and then flourished in the following years with various assets and blockchain-based solutions. According to Stephen Stonberg, CEO of Bittrex Global, this is no longer in its infancy.
“I think we’re already past the stage of crypto early adoption,” Stonberg told Cointelegraph adding:
“Crypto has now gone mainstream. We have double-digit percentage adoption in both developed and developing countries. We even have Bitcoin adopted as legal tender in a country and many other countries are considering adopting Bitcoin as legal tender.”
Bitcoin has also become a very common investment, as a number of large companies such as Microstrategy have invested in these assets.
Being a legal tender is totally different from being a national currency. Any country can declare Bitcoin their legal tender but that doesn't mean that it is their national currency. Although the good thing about being declared a legal tender means that anyone can make use of it to clear debts or make payments. But in countries where it is not legal anyone caught making use of it will be punished.

El Salvador he said the frontline of the movement of adopting cryptocurrency as legal tender, and I’m looking forward to seeing other countries who would do the same thing. Ukraine is one of the countries that I’m looking forward to, which might do the same any moment from now.
3505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 sites for cryptocurrency lovers on: September 15, 2021, 08:21:40 PM
Guys tell me about your top 3 sites for cryptocurrency lovers, I have this: Blockster, CoinTelegraph, CoinDesk. It will be interesting to read!
Alright, I don’t know about the first website you mentioned, but I know the other two very well. Cointelegraph.com and Coindesk.com are one of the biggest cryptocurrency websites, and they are very popular. I visit the two websites most times when I want to read anything that has to do with cryptocurrency, and Cointelegraph.com has something that interests me a lot which is the analysis they do almost every day. Coindesk is mainly about news, and it’s recommendable for newbie that wants to learn about Bitcoin, because they have a page that teaches that. Another website which I don’t miss in a day is this forum.
3506  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: September 15, 2021, 12:58:01 PM
Everton vs Burnley tonight, not the most entertaining game in the PL but something to consider regarding a bet. What do you think guys? I have a feeling Dyche’s men will set up to be hard to best as usual, a compact unit with everybody behind the ball. A 0-0 might not be a bad punt here?

Well this prediction sucked.

*LFC walks away quickly*
LOL, could we please switch places? I wagered 3.5+ goals total in City vs Leicester game.... Sometimes things happen and we just need to accept it, what you said about Burnley was quite correct actually, everyone was waiting for that, obvious from the odds and that is why it is not a shock that you said the same thing, but the game was a bit unusual so it is fine to be wrong in those cases.

Only thing is, between all those united, city, lfc, chelsea, spurs etcetc teams that are at the top after fourth game, we have Everton and Brighton stuck there Cheesy You picked the team that is among the top teams right now Cheesy. All jokes aside premier league looks as entertaining as ever this year, and this year I do not feel that "is it lfc or city again???" dread, it looks like at least 4 teams could fight for the title with united and Chelsea added to other two.
3507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News! VISA considers accepting crypto payments in Brazil on: September 14, 2021, 09:47:17 PM
Eduardo Abreu, the vice president of Visa’s new business is considering expanding VISA in Brazil to accept crypto, and in particular BTC (among others) payments.

At this stage, this is still an idea and it would take some time to see it implement but at least there are talks in the right direction.

Would this and similar news be enough to trigger an upward/less volatile market? Seems like we all need it, considering how the Alonzo hard fork on Cardano ecosystem had no impact on price upward movement (or maybe not yet)
Um I don’t think this is the first time that Visa is talking about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general. Before now I’ve been seeing talks about visa and cryptocurrency and things like that, So this doesn’t seem like a much of a surprise to me. And I don’t think it’s only visa in Brazil that is planning to do this, or doing it already.

I have Once seen on the visa official website where they talked about accepting cryptocurrency for payments, And right now I am sure they are accepting USD coin. and based on other news that I’ve seen they plan to expand the number of cryptocurrencies they are accepting.  They also rolled out a new feature that allows people to send and receive cryptocurrency while they are offline.
3508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is Best Alts or Defi Coin? on: September 14, 2021, 06:29:36 PM
I am not sure what exactly your question is to be honest. If you are asking if Defi projects are the best altcoin projects then i don't think that there is a clear answer for that. Defi has definitely changed the cryptomarket as a whole and i am also pretty sure that defi will not disappear like many other Trends that we had before but it will stay forever as a big pillar for the crypto space. New Trends are still emerging though. At the moment the topics of NFTs and play to earn games are also pretty hot.
Basically meaning there are projects with defi start and there are projects which are non defi as well. So, the question here is basically like "if you had your own project, would you start with defi or regular coin?" basically. Plus for investors as well, "if defi is popular than isn't it easier to invest in defi than coins because defi will get a lot more attention?" type of situation. It works on each side and points so I sort of understand.

However, I do not agree that defi is a must for a project to be big, there are many projects which are not defi and they are doing fine as well. We just need a bit more time for coins and less time for defi but they both could be bad or very good.

Anyone knows when Ronaldo will be back and start to play? We all know that his situation is a bit different than Messi because Messi came straight from vacation and he didn't play a game yet and trying to get his conditioning back to match shape, but Ronaldo played a game back in Juventus, so he seems ready? Well, honestly that dude seems ready at all moments, even if you call him up literally middle of a vacation that dude looks like he could end up playing right away without a problem.

In any case things look like could be changing for United, they were second last year, and looking good this year as well when they play at their 100%, with Ronaldo back on the club, he will provide more talent which will surely help, but he may end up helping the team more with veteran leadership that he didn't do in Juventus, it is his club that he loves so much and could really lead the players there.

Hey DNL,

I like your services as it helps me to choose my new gambling places but I am seeing you did not add any new houses since June. Please review duelbits and chips.gg if your time permits.

Thank you.

Great example, thanks!
Another small nuance - NOW the time has come when an ORDINARY person can achieve a noticeable result. Into the world of technology, in order to earn money, change your social status, it is no longer necessary to be born into the family of a banker, industrialist or politician! Quite enough desires, skills or craving for learning, perseverance. This is the recipe for success today. True, this will not work for everyone, but let's remember - only the one who does nothing is not mistaken. After the first failure, you should not go into depression and stop trying to do something, change something in your life!
This is one that can be used as inspiration for those who want to think smart. A person's success in achieving this level of success depend on how we put the desire, interest, perseverance and consistency to learn it. In this forum, we have many people who have more knowledge and experience about bitcoin, trading, investing and other cryptocurrencies. We can use it to gain some lessons and knowledge because that is the way it is always recommended. The point is, don't be shy about asking.
Do not get hyped because you can get "rich" in the sense that if your goal in life is to make a million dollars, or even maybe few million dollars you will be able to do that. However if you want to be richest person in the entire world then you will have to realize that NOBODY at the top came from poverty, they are all rich people and that will have to continue.

Even Lebron James who is nearly a billionaire now I think, came from nothing and made a billion dollars but that dude is ONE player in all of NBA that became that rich compared to all the players that played in NBA history, so it is quite rare, it is already as rare as it gets to be an NBA player, we are talking about rare squared here

So, do not really get your hopes up about being super rich, you will have maximum of few million dollars which you can achieve via cryptocurrency investments but these days million dollars gives you a middle class life of a 60's person.
3514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: July 19, 2021, 05:32:43 PM
In my opinion, knowing which altcoin projects are scams and which are not is quite difficult, but usually scam projects always carry out very large discount promotions, and promise multiple returns, this needs to be avoided or further research needs to be done
That's correct. A project where the talk is always about the price rather than the product is one to avoid at any costs. So far, almost all the projects who work on the product and neglect all the price talks are the ones that do well. I joined the shiba Inu token group and everyone was shouting, to the moon and profit, etc while no one was actually discussing what it provides as a product. Anyone asking such questions was being removed from the group silently.

There might be many warnings but I can roughly list out 3 warnings of a scam project.

1- Talk about the price too much instead of the product.
2- Hidden team or just no mention about the team
3- ICOs aiming a high hard cap
3515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Tips for Trading from Beginner, For Beginners. on: July 18, 2021, 05:52:11 PM
I would like to  congratulate OP if he really follows these and he has been around for just 30 days. These are of course basics and there are many other stuff that you should be careful about but it is still awesome that he managed to get all of this in just 30 days, I know people who trader for years and still have no idea what they are doing.

At the end of the day, what is important is to make profit by doing the right things, because if you make a profit purely from getting lucky then it means that you are not going to get lucky forever, but if you make a profit based on true stuff then we are talking about something a lot more sustainable.

It is not easy to keep making profit after profit for that long, but it is definitely something that everyone should follow without changing their ways (unless they made a mistake) just because they had a loss, keep following your rules even in a loss.
Thank you el_kaka, for your kind words. And yes, I started like a month ago now and doing really good.  Grin
Also, I am trying to learn understanding the market sentiment and fundamentals, so i am really happy with my progress.
Actually, the fundamental part is very important and I am really happy that you value fundamentals more than technical analysis. Often time people believe that once they have understood the concept of technical analysis, they have mastered trading but it's just a myth and remember a chart-reader is what all you become by learning technical analysis. It's the fundamental analysis that lets you achieve success in the long term because you start evaluating upcoming projects without looking at their market price.

if you don't mind and it's not a huge task for you, keep sharing your trading stats like how you are doing each month and what new you have learned. I don't get enough time to trade actually because of my job and most of the threads are spam in the section, it feels good when someone actually shares their own record and learning with others.

3518  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a one stop crypto news source? on: July 06, 2021, 07:04:22 PM
I don’t really think so, unless you’re going to be making use of Twitter. With Twitter you’re going to be more likely to catch up with every trend on time and you can decide to switch on the notification bell for accounts, so that whenever those accounts tweets, you will see their tweets immediately in the notification and not miss anything at all. All those accounts you feel are very important, like analyst’s account, an influencer that talks crypto, you can just follow all of them and switch on their notification bell not to miss anything.

And also you can be checking the trends on cryptocurrency. But if what you’re looking for is a news website like CCN that will do all that, then I don’t think you will get any. Even most of these crypto news websites find their contents on Twitter. So with Twitter you’re getting first hand.

Any cricket bettors here?

It was such a close game of cricket in women's cricket, India winning it in the last over and the odds were swinging both ways all day. I was feeling like India women will chase it down because they had their most experienced player Raj on the crease but English bowlers on their soil are just too good and I made a small bet on India as a result, happy that it won but could have been much better.

I am sorry guys but I am bad at soccer and betting on it, so please don't mind me discussing some cricket meantime. I have always felt there is no place better than sportsbet.io for betting on cricket and even the sportsbet.io's owner is a cricket player from my own little research so I am sure they won't mind it Cheesy.
3520  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: July 03, 2021, 03:15:46 PM
The most expected scenario is that the crypt will have a certain status of a "limited asset", but the technology itself will be used both in the financial and, of course, in the banking sector, though with one caveat - all state financial systems are CENTRALIZED and nothing else! Decentralization in the financial system of the state = lack of state power, anarchy, and most likely the collapse of the state or its degradation.
First of all I do not believe that just because one nation decides to have a decentralized currency doesn't mean that it will be suddenly anancy, things are not as simple as that and I believe it is not going to be whole chaos that crashes the whole nation.

However even with that in mind, we do not have to have decentralization as a whole, think about having your own fiat currency as a nation but also allowing bitcoin to be a currency that everywhere can accept. Look at El Salvador and you can see how it can be done, or look at Germany and how they are allowing banks to handle it as well. Just be supportive and turn crypto into alternative method of payment. Think about how you either pay with a card or cash when you pay somewhere, well add in crypto to that and it would be enough to shake up any nation and it will suddenly make things easier for crypto people in that nation as well.
