Somebody just hit a 1000x plinko bet with 1 eth and won 999eth in just under 20 tries.
From when the bet was placed, I looked at the statistics page and they had 6 wins and 13 losses of their bets using ethereum.
So that is quite a lucky day for somebody to win around 23btc worth in crypto on the site for a roll which usually takes 100k tries to do. Smiley

Jesus H. Christ son of Marry, that is a whole lot of money, I can't check dude myself because you didn't provided a link (probably best for safety reasons) but if that dude wagered 1 eth 19 times and in return made that many wins... oh my oh my.

23 bitcoins is over 150k dollars! That is literally enough money to never having to work again in some countries (not in big nations of course) think about all the profits you can get just from its savings account interest rate, even that amount is probably enough to hire a full time worker from some third world country to do whatever you want them to do.

A huge sum of money all together has always shocked me, I have seen big wins, I have seen big amounts, but I have never seen any bigger any quicker in my life before, this dude just takes the cake, the greatest gambling win I have ever seen in my entire life.
3542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Scalping? on: April 14, 2020, 08:44:55 PM
The answer for what is scalping could be found on google very easily but making it use on crypto trading is not that easier as per my own experiences or at least not that much profitable compared to other way of trading strategies.

Scalping will be good only when you trade with high leverage and high accurate trading strategies. I guess leveraged trading is not a preferred way of trading for most of this community and accurate trading signals are not practically available to most of the traders or no one is capable of generating their own accurate signals for making use in scalping. Scalping in crypto trading so far good only in theory and in practical, it may take some more time when traders innovate things in near future.

I do not understand about the request for sha512 when you have no sha256 cracked at all, thats the very confusing part, I mean sure maybe 512 is more secure (I wouldn't know) but when 256 is secure enough that no problems have ever happened on it, why would you want to give it a better version?

There suppose to be some sort of hacking that happened with 256 first and proven to be not enough of a strong security first in order try to find something better, when you have something more than enough and not causing any issues, everyone should focus somewhere else instead of trying to improve that. Ethereum also is a great news, I have been away from bitcoin for a while, I still love it but for now I just want to be at ETH until this hard fork happens and I was looking for a place to use it, this would be perfect.

Investments taking a big hit during rain is actually something quite worth if I feel like. You are giving away money but at the same time you are getting newer customers from it, the more you spread around money, the more people will come for that money, and some people will get it and play with it and leave which is sad of course but some people will get it, play with it, lose and then deposit more and gamble more and lose more.

That is where you as an investor make the money from, think of it as casino spending on marketing and that marketing could very well turn into a lot more profits in the future, a short term spending for a long term gain and that is usually how companies grow, they make a debt today so that they can make a bigger profit later on.
3545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: April 13, 2020, 08:07:43 PM
Honestly there is no option for that but I would say investment. I realized long time ago that I will not become rich over night, there is no way I can make so much money from trading that I could quit work and just relax in my life, that requires me to make about 10000000% in profit or something because I do need a lot of money to quit everything.

However what I can achieve is investing into stuff that gives me passive income and keep on investing back to them constantly to increase my passive income. That way I do not need to have cash in hand to retire, that would take a long time, however I could possibly just have a decent passive income instead and use that to retire. Which is why I have been investing for years now, I am not anywhere near where I want but at least I started down the path.
3546  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: April 13, 2020, 07:06:31 AM
I still haven't seen any explanation on what you guys are planning about Watford with this corona situation going on. I am sure you are trying to do your due diligence but as a company yourself you should be looking for a way to actually not pay the full price for something you didn't get the full return on I suppose?

I mean they didn't play the full season, so why should you pay the full amount of the contract? Is there any knowledge on what you are planning on about that issue?
3547  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cleaned out stake.com balance! on: April 13, 2020, 06:16:43 AM
Stunna put all the questions in minds to rest by explaining it very well. There is no way stake would want to scam someone out of their unwarrantable amount of money, why would they want to do something like that when they are literally making more money per day than what I make in a year (I assume), there is no reason for them to do this to whales let alone a person who had too small to withdraw.

Attacker probably wanted to withdraw all the money but couldn't so just like stunna said he just wanted to see if he can gamble with it and get a big win to withdraw it and failed, that is about it (with such low odds its not a surprise he failed). Everyone should see this as a warning and change your passwords to something very very strong, as long as allowed and as complicated as it gets.
3548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 12, 2020, 08:09:15 PM
It really has a variety of factors that we can't really put our fingers on, many things could make a coin go up and same amount of things could make it go down as well. Sometimes it is hype from everyone for a coin that went viral, sometimes it is a new idea for a blockchain project that has never been done before, sometimes it is a great marketing budget that puts a projects name on every computer thanks to google and so forth ads, and sometimes it is just famous crypto people deciding to make their own currencies, or even maybe some famous Hollywood people endorsing a coin.

This is literally just the start of the list, there could be 10 pages long reasons why a coin gets an interest and another 10 pages why an altcoin would drop in price as well.
3549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: April 12, 2020, 07:38:25 PM
Honestly some coins just don't have any options but to list on these exchanges. I know exchanges themselves can be scammy and shady but at the same time they are very open arms about accepting new coins, well technically they are like that BECAUSE they are shady business' but at the same time if you are a new project and can't find any place to accept you, what are you going to do about it? So many are forced to list their coins there, many of them just accept a "donation" of certain amount and you can get listed there easily.

Every project owner would love to get listed at binance if they had the chance but only a few get to be that lucky, so I doubt it really matters to them after a while as long as they can be listed, even if it is on any exchange in this list.
3550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We failed altcoin!! Altcoin then did the same on: April 12, 2020, 07:04:01 PM
I think there was also a moment when people started to realize bitcoin is something that needs to be recovered first in order to recover altcoins. So right now, there are tons of people who waits for bitcoin to be 20k in order to start focusing on altcoins, without bitcoin going higher they think there is no reason to focus on altcoins at all.

What we are missing out is the fact that bitcoin may need to increase and we all would love that however this has nothing to do with altcoins, altcoins themselves could increase without bitcoin increasing, we can all love any altcoin we want independent from bitcoin yet we are not really focusing on that. I may love ethereum without really caring about bitcoin, this doesn't change the fact that ethereum could increase while bitcoin stays same, THAT'S what we should focus.

There are actually still PTC now? I mean I get that click ad for reward models are still good for games or credit, but they've got to be worth crap now if paid in actual satoshi. Doing a freeroll on this site I get, I don't mind a 1 second click every now and then when I'm in the commute and remember, $200 chance at that and lotteries. But watching an ad on a spammy website to infect myself with all kinds of malware for very likely what a min payout on freeroll is? Absolutely not!

PTC and captacha give very minimal amounts but they are still worth for two types of people.

First those who do not have any skill, they can earn few satoashi by just clicking or solving the captcha.
Secondly, if they can hold the bitcoins they earned through this method, you never know how high bitcoin might go in the next bull run and then these small amount will turned into reasonable amounts when converted to dollar.

I get the idea. But What I'm saying is even freerolling is a better way of getting that very small amount of faucet for minimal work. PTC and captcha is time-consuming, and then you gotta deal with all that spam AND expose yourself to malware.

Everyone has a skill. Instead of spending hours a day collecting faucets, and possibly earning what, $1? Let's say you count in all the electricity costs, maybe you get $1 a day. I would rather go out there and get a job that pays me $1 an hour. I know there are people in the world who still earn below $1 a day but these guys don't have a device to connect to the internet for faucets.

If you go, do an honest job that teaches you new skills and experience, you could buy far more bitcoin than you would spending an entire day at faucets and PTC.
You are underestimating how much time third world country people are willing to spend on making the bare minimum of the amounts. We are talking about nations where having 200 dollars a month makes you actually live like kings and that can be earned from online ways.

Definitely you can do many other stuff, you can do bounties and such, social media retweets with thousand accounts bla bla bla, but there are also people who are willing to do PTC and captcha as well, someone has to make that. This way they make like 4-5 bucks a day for working 12-16 hours a day on multiple PTC and captcha websites constantly without a decent break, I know 4-5 bucks a day sounds insanely low for such a high work but that money could mean the difference between starvation and survival for these people.
3552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks on: April 12, 2020, 02:15:00 PM
Honestly, it all depends on how well the exchange is dealing with these hacks that matters the most and not IF they got hacked or not.

For example, if one exchange gets hacked and because of that they close shop and do not pay anyone their money back, that is bad, we all know that, however if one exchange gets hacked but still pays everyone their money and covers the expense of being hacked from their own pockets, that is not really all that horrible. This is why I think being hacked could even be more of an advantage to an exchange instead of a curse if they can handle it very well.

Binance reversed a hacking to something great for example, those dudes got hacked but then paid out of pocket and now people love them even more, so they turned it into good marketing.
3553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto.com investment legit and safe? on: April 10, 2020, 08:08:31 PM
I'm familiar with NEXO and Celsius. They are insured by Bitgo and are reputed financial paltforms.
But there's one more crypto.com that's been advertising a lot. They say to give you 8% interest of bitcoin deposits. It's much higher than on Celsius.
But my question is are they even legit? I haven't heard much about them like I did for NEXO and Celsius.
Yes I know about Crypto.com, and I have once checked out their site. They have a good rating on Google Playstore, 4.2 star rating. When you said 8% is big lol, that’s not true, 8% is like a normal rate you will find in most investments. They pay you 8% on the assets you have stored in your wallet.

From what I have seen, it seems they are very legit, their wallet app has up to 1 million downloads. They also offer their users a Visa metal card that can use for purchase around the globe and get a 5% cashbacks on every purchase they make. That’s really cool, but I have BitPay now already.
3554  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: April 10, 2020, 07:26:03 PM
Sometimes the reason could be on your ISP Internet Provider, changing ur ISP Internet Provider or using different internet connections would be solved ur problem without using VPN. I'm using a hotspot from my sim card internet provider, some of them blocked but other problem internet problems still not yet blocked the site. Since my smartphone can use dual simcard, went my main simcard blocked my access i changing my internet connection with other simcard 2.
Changing your ISP provider is not an easy task at all Cheesy. I mean in my country there is really one good ISP and we all use that one, sure there are some competition but even that competition uses that one providers infrastructure so it doesn't matter if you change it and start using something else.

However using VPN has always been a decent one, yet you need to use an expensive one that gives you an unique IP in order to make sure you do not look like you are sharing with any other person. If you are using a free VPN you can be seen as sharing the same IP with thousands of people maybe even more and that may result with one of them using Stake as well and you would basically lose all of your money for double accounting for doing something like that when you have done nothing wrong.
3555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: April 10, 2020, 06:21:50 PM
Nowadays, there are thousands of coins & token available in the CoinMarkectCap but 99% of the coins & tokens are worthless, and selecting the potential cryptocurrency project is a bit more difficult due to many scam projects. So, in this article consist of the 20 Best cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020 without any hesitation. Also, you can prove the performance of recent history.

If you are looking to invest in a new cryptocurrency project, check out the https://www.btcbeginners.com/best-cryptocurrency-to-buy
Wow, you know, some people are really trying. I don’t even have the time to be checking all these new altcoins in the market.

Ever since I started investing in cryptocurrency, I have only been investing in few coins and that’s just Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Bitcoin Cash. Then when Blockchain started sharing their Stellar coin, I verified my wallet and got up to $25 dollars worth of cryptocurrency, but later when the airdrop was over the coin fell from $0.12 and down to a low rate ( currently at $0.04). And then I recently invested in ChainLink and that’s because of the hype it got earlier this year, and yes I made profit from it. So if you check, my only choices has been the top cryptocurrencies, and nothing else.
3556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible Effects of Coronavirus on the Crypto Industry on: April 10, 2020, 02:19:15 PM
People are forgetting the fact that EVERYTHING got affected so it is not a wonder that bitcoin had a bad response to it as well. Why would anyone think that bitcoin is beyond all other investments that it wouldn't be affected by a pandemic nevertheless, I would understand if it was like a crays or a bubble burst or something but at the same time we are talking about a thing where it keeps people at home and scared, so I think bitcoin is not untouchable in a situation like this.

Maybe if we give it some time it will recover faster than all others, that way we can say that we are not untouchable but at least we are doing quite fine compared to other stuff as well. Being the fastest growing is usually more important than "not dropping" when everything drops.

Thank you for that information. To me your actions seem fair. I am glad you watch out for your players.
Yes, that makes sense to lock funds when something like this happens, I know the feeling of not getting your money right away because we are living in a crypto world where one person could tell you they will pay you, then not pay you and nothing could happen to them so it is obvious that we are building the whole crypto world with pure trust and without trust we can't really exchange anything between each other.

However Devans is a dude you can trust easily, he has been around forever and he has run this website for probably a thousand years or so (give or take few years) and never scammed anyone so if there is something wrong going on and he steps in, just believe him, be patient and then you will realize that it was all for your own good. If you are the bad dude though, sorry but you gotta look for somewhere else to do your business.
3558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 07, 2020, 07:01:13 PM
I'm not a pro gambler nor an addicted guy. However, when I do gambling on casino, I used to deposit a certain balance and if I can manage to get a good winning, I simply withdraw some part of my winning and leave the rest into the casino. For sportsbet, I have seperate fund with a BTC address which I use only for sportsbet. Hence, I don't need different things to do to track the record.
For me I only use a few casino and sportsbook so it is very easy to calculate how much I have lost by just subtracting the withdrawals from deposits made to the casino. I mean gambling is not something I take very seriously and find no reason to keep a record of it, if I ever need it I can even ask the casino to provide me a full deposit and withdrawal file and just use it.

Maybe people who gamble big and do it often need to take such measures because they also have to pay various taxes on winning amounts and they must know how much they have won to pay the tax but most of the gamblers I feel are just doing it with tiny amounts which don't fall under tax slabs and hence doing nothing wrong either.
3559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 07, 2020, 09:08:24 AM
To be serious, a lot of people never knew this, they had the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin when the price decreased but they never did, instead they kept panicking and lost the opportunity. Of course I have invested in Bitcoin earlier at $6000 before the price reached $8000+ and dropped back during the pandemic.

Although I wasn’t able to get in when the price dropped to $3,850, I still bought 0.9 BTC around $4,600+ and added it to the ones I have stored in my wallet and now I’m making profit, the price is fairly above the rates I made my purchase. And this is not the end, as time goes on the price will keep going up.
3560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy in Bitcoin on: April 07, 2020, 08:13:35 AM
I think everything with an advantage in some way has its own disadvantage. If we are all given privacy and to make use of Blockchain and cryptocurrency and do the way we want, trust me, there are lots of bad people that are going to take this advantage to ruin everything.

We have not even had such freedom and some people are already out there and ruining the name of Bitcoin. If only that there could be a way to punish those that are using it for bad, I will be very happy. Just recently some hackers have hacked the computer of a hospital in L.A and demanding that payments be made in Bitcoin before they release the computer.

Please tell me, what are people going to think when they see that those hackers are demanding for Bitcoin as payment? They will start saying that bitcoin is a currency used by thieves. Sometimes, having full privacy is not really good idea.
