Where you said most of the market’s revenue is completed in short period, I think you should check properly, that’s not how it works. You are even more likely to make bigger profits when you hold for a long time.

Imagine someone that bought their coins in 2015 and continued to hold it till now (2021) do you know how much they have made by now? So long term can possibly get you more than a short term. The thing we are all talking about here is not even if they should pay taxes or not at this point, it is if it is normal for them to evade tax or not. I mean there is a group saying everyone would evade taxes when their taxes are in billions, while the other side is saying they wouldn't do that and it is not nice to do that.

We should probably charge them based on their revenue in order to just force them to calculate tax in there, and for regular people we should just tax based on their total net worth, that way we can charge less, but constantly charge it anyway.

I think you misunderstood the meaning of money laundering. Someone who is buying Bitcoin is not doing something illegal, unless Bitcoin is illegal in your country. And a miner who is selling his mined Bitcoin is also not doing anything wrong at all, there is nothing bad about that as long as Bitcoin is legal in your country.

Money laundering means when you’re trying to conceal an illegally obtained money through international bank transfers and legit businesses. So when they say that Bitcoin can be used for money laundering, they know what they are saying.
